How are you adjusting to the whole Norse mythology situation?

LEO: I’ve mostly been bugging some of the older einherjar, and Hunding, a little bit, to figure this place out. Do you know how cool it is that some people have been here since the industrial revolution?? There's no way that I'm the first of my dad's kids to make it here. I just don't know who to talk to about it.

been thinking abt this a lot lately and like growing up is SO scary but a lot of that fear comes from being so removed from older people. personally bc of my job this year i have gotten really close to 40+, even 60+ year olds and they’re so full of life and energy and joy and it’s like. they tell u all the time but being close to them u see it for yourself life doesn’t end at 30 like there is always so much to do and so much time to do it all like!! if anything i’m no longer scared to grow older but instead im excited to see where life will take me and hope im half as eager to live when reach certain ages!

Everyone's talking about Wish right now.... The only thing I can say about WISH.......let's hope it's like a Frozen 1 type thing. Where the trailers were ABSOLUTE ASS but then the film turned out really good. TT0TT

I mean.....there is a difference between the two. While the west got weird trailers that didn't matter for Frozen (Olaf vs Sven carrot thing), JPN and other countries got trailers that actually showcased the plot and drama in an interesting way.... And Wish.....well...... Wish at least gives us a villain and a part of an argument.....and I can't see that argument leading anywhere.....great tbh. So maybe not the best comparisons but let's hope for the Frozen 1 vibe!

Anyway I'm not liking what I'm seeing so far, but I'm hoping its better than the ass disaster Frozen 2 and Ralph 2 were. ;w;

Katherine "Carin" Lindstrom

Bio:

Carin was raised in a small swedish town near the coast, where her family owned a fishery. During her time as a human, she lived modestly within the lower class until she fell in love with a wealthy nobleman from a neighboring town named Alphonse.

Unbeknownst to her, the romance was a ploy for him to infiltrate her town in hopes of gaining the trust of her fellow townspeople. It didn't take long for this to happen, as he was very charismatic.

Carin proceeded to flee her home town that very night, starting a new life for herself in Stockholm.

Eventually, she caught onto his plans, but before she could warn any of the towns people, she was abducted by him and the church, as they were promised a handsome sum of money from Alphonse. She was tossed over the side of a cliff, being impaled by rocks before reaching the ground.

Fortunately, the rage that she had felt before her death spurred a change within her, bringing her back to life with a vengence. She promptly sought out both the church and Alphonse and killed those responsible for her death.

That same night, Carin fled to Stockholm, where she would continue to operate her family's fishery. With her newfound supernatural abilities, she was able to climb her way up the business and social ladder, making both a name for herself and company.

Around the 1830s, she would immigrate to the United States, moving her business with her to a small coastal town in Maine. She underwent a change in name, adopting the more Americanized version of Carin, Katherine.

It was all uphill from there, as Katherine grew to be a successful multimillionaire. Every century or so, she would fake her death and forge documents to allow her to live comfortably without raising suspicion about her age and origin. Eventually, she even grew comfortable enough to begin teaching college level business classes in her spare time, where she would eventually meet her current partner, Simon.

hate how scared modern liberal movies are of making characters of color into antagonists of any sort? like i know it depends on what kind of story you want to tell, but if it's a "colorblind" story that's just like, "regency era, but diverse" or whatever and all of the people of color are the kind supporting cast, just go fuck yourself I'm sorry
