#more thoughts below here be warned. i really enjoyed the introductory sequence and how it juxtaposed varric's dramatized version with the#real sequence of events. i also enjoy how they tied in lothering. imo id say the game has a really solid start. i also really enjoy the#visuals and stylistic direction of the game- i'd even go so far as to say i largely prefer it to inquisition (its just the oilyness LMFAO)#esp with the qunari and how they look.. less so with the proportions of the elves* (something that really irked me in inquisition is how#harold is forced to have the very clearly downscaled proportions while the elvish npcs (solas sera and basically every other elf#you interact with) dont have the slouched shoulders and very? crumpled looking frame). dont like that youre forced only to play as a human#though its very obvious that they were not given a reasonable amount of time to actually finish the game because OH MY GOD the reused#locations. the story was fairly solid at the start but the game is incredibly short (im in act 3 at the end of 2 days of playing) esp in#comp to origins. everything feels vaguely disconnected in a way thats uncharacteristic of bioware with the context of having played dao dai#and some of me1. and introducing the timeskips did Not help. i can see why people got absolutely attached to the companions however#with the system of friend + rival and it producing dichotomic benefits. rivalmances apparently existing also creates a really fun way of#interacting with your companions. i like anders#anyways completely unprompted thoughts on da2 over thank you for your time (i just needed somewhere to put them or i would go insane)

Me and my dad have been watching a good girl’s guide to murder the past few weeks and a few days ago a copy came into the library and I read the first chapter because I was curious and was completely baffled to find that the book was set in Connecticut, usa rather than England? Told my dad about this because again. baffling. And he looked it up and turns out I had been reading an AMERICANIZED version of the book, because apparently the kids can’t take reading a book set in a different country, I guess

What if they didn't put ads every 3 posts. Three posts between ads, literally. Not even counting the ad for Tumblr Live.
Also what if tumblr didn't know what city Im in. I do not want my location tracked or stored anywhere unless I give explicit ongoing permission, like with my GPS app that I allow to track me only when the app is open, and then it deletes the data (allegedly) when I stop giving permission.
#ugh i do SO much to try to keep my location private. i use an android with all the tracking things Off (except for my weather app#which is a highly specific app that does NOTHING except provide weather; and i have the location turned Off so it doesnt even know where i#live). my tumblr email is not connected to any real life stuff because i made it when i was very closeted and made a new email and password#for it and never linked them to anything else. i have bare minimum apps. i use firefox and duckduckgo.#for shits sake i use a small barely-known map app because any Map App that has had large success under capitalism is inevitably going to#start selling private info or working with a cheap security system designed to allow quiet data leaks.#i guess i use gmail and gphotos but my phone doesnt HAVE a native Photo App. i have to use one i download and im too damn skittish to try#i guess i did get netflix recently....sigh.... i figured they WERENT tracking me because they email me EVERY TIME I USE NETFLIX to alert me#that OHHHH A NEW DEVICE IS USING NETFLIX AAAAA WHAT IF ITS AGAINST NETFLIX POLICY OH NOOOO. so i figured they didnt have a way to ID me.#UGH. I turned on OneDrive like a goddamn fool and while most of what happened, I have already fixed or can fix rather easily, I accidentally somehow wound up moving my Documents folder to my Desktop which is frustrating and also fucking up my video games, since my save files aren't in the directory they're trying to fetch from
and I cannot figure out how to fix it so I guess I'm gonna put my Best Buy membership to use and have the computer experts help me put things back in order
don't turn on OneDrive unless you know exactly what you're doing, folks
