Watching how two dogs who love each other will sometimes still nip each other on the ear, bug them while they sleep, etc... watching how cats will snuggle with their buddy all day and then paw-smack 'em in the face, chase them, play-fight...

Makes me, as a fellow social mammal, feel better about my urge to be incredibly annoying to another human sometimes. Like, yeah. Of course I wanna bug you. Of course it's fun to annoy you. We're social creatures and annoyance can be part of play, something we all need. And I watch these dogs who get their ears nipped, cats who get smacked out of a nap, and despite BEING annoyed, they don't stop loving their packmate. After they finish play-fighting, they're back to snuggling and grooming and sleeping together. BEING annoyed is also just part of being in a social group and having relationships... and that's okay. It doesn't erase love or necessarily make them mad or affect them in the long term... a loved one being annoyed with me is a temporary feeling that's normal for social creatures. An annoyance that wouldn't be possible WITHOUT that love

he’s a dog guy through and through but your cat keeps nuzzling her head on his feet, weaving her little body between his legs while he’s walking, and chirping at him when he plops on his spot on the sofa in your place, and who is simon to not fall in love?

he picks her up and drapes her on his chest, and he just melts when she begins to purr so loud or when she makes biscuits on his sternum. he swipes his thumb softly at the top of her head and she mews, tongue poking out, and simon’s face crumples because god she is a sweetheart.

he’d even start calling her his daughter. his child.

“my baby’s baby,” he’ll say and then show a polaroid picture he took of you holding your cat up.

“our kid,” and it’s a cat with a binky.

“little princess,” and it’s a cat asleep on the side of his face, her whole body curled like a croissant while she nuzzles at his cheek.

(simon brings his dog with him and your cat is besotted.

“aww, are you poutin’ cuz you’re no longer her favourite boy?” you tease and simon just sniffs, looking away.

you laugh, loud and booming, and simon picks you up and throws you over his shoulder in retaliation.

you hear a chirp and a bark, and god you wouldn’t trade this for anything else.)

Pomefiore was the last plot i follow before real life made me forget about our silly boys. How bad has the plot become now for our gang? Also who is that Gojo looking guy?

anon, I am so sorry and I mean this in the best way, but I do think episode 5 is the absolute funniest place to have stopped following Twst because shit starts escalating SO fast after that. episode 6 literally starts with a secret government shadow agency breaking down our doors and kidnapping students. zero to a million instantly.

and like...that's not even the zaniest thing so far? Ortho's hacked into the collective human unconscious. there's time travel (sort of). "Crowley might be Malleus' long-lost father" is a serious theory. if you'd told me any of this back pre-episode 6, I would have asked for the link to this unbelievable but highly intriguing fanfic.

also, episode 7 gave us (and then immediately took away 😔) the best character in the whole story:
