The thing is that Battle of the Writers has to be aware of why it's terrible, because it's the same stuff they ding the writers for within the show--- too many characters, irrelevant storylines that take up oxygen, crashing into actual storylines people might want to see. It has the ingredients to be a very good show, but the pacing is absolute shit and why did we waste 30+ min on Dollar Store Tongrak's little Love Sea knockoff or the apparently straight guy's wedding and yet wholly gloss over (ever setting up that wedding to make us give a shit) Ob-aum's parents dual suicide and that having any impact on his psyche growing up???

Also the two obsessive stalkers and one apparently can send the other against them but then???? Backs down??? But half assed doesn't??? But kinda does??? And the reveal of the writers leading to???? A random ass side fake competition storyline and just????

WAS THIS WRITTEN BY A TODDLER??? You have 3 show plots slammed around only a single solitary one that is written somewhat well, and then the Pie/Ozone storyline I couldn't care less about because they put too little effort into developing it too late. When all they had to do was spread ONE SCENE'S WORTH OF MATERIAL across an extra 2-3 episodes and just cut the Love Sea knockoff entirely.

And visibly just threw more sex in like "IDK just focus on this".

... I don't usually go negative but it frustrates me when a show could be really good but shits the bed on basic elements and fucks itself.
