Dino, 2018, by Bertrand Lavier. Another of the artist's "ready-destroyed" projects, a 1970s Dino 308 GT4 designed by Bertone which he recovered from a scrap yard. Once again I have seen posts claiming that Lavier himself crashed the car but this is not true. An important aspect of his "ready-destroyed" artistic practice is to find already destroyed items and repurpose them as artworks. Another aspect of the series is that the car was wrecked in a crash that did not cause any deaths or serious injuries. Exhibited for the first time during the "Debout !" ("Stand Up!") show at the Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes in 2018.

Part of the reason that Republicans are so desperately acting like they will never lose again is because they are deeply terrified that this is their last real chance to win. I know a lot of people use these two images to show Viktor's character development into a (what we have yet to seen) antagonist, but I think it shows a more resolute—hardened Viktor.

In this shot, Viktor is stagnant. He looks lost, sad, even surprised. He only watches on as Jayce speaks for them, and Hextech, as a whole.

In this scene, he feels and looks utterly powerless.

But this Viktor?

He looks determined. Resolute and unrelenting. Shaped, now, by his own regrets. Instead of Jayce doing the talking, Viktor does.

This is a Viktor who looks like he's daring the council to fuck with him, frankly. A Viktor that is determined to set things right, to not lose their dream again, no matter what.

(And whether Jayce and Viktor succeed in this, we'll see)
