Dino, 2018, by Bertrand Lavier. Another of the artist's "ready-destroyed" projects, a 1970s Dino 308 GT4 designed by Bertone which he recovered from a scrap yard. Once again I have seen posts claiming that Lavier himself crashed the car but this is not true. An important aspect of his "ready-destroyed" artistic practice is to find already destroyed items and repurpose them as artworks. Another aspect of the series is that the car was wrecked in a crash that did not cause any deaths or serious injuries. Exhibited for the first time during the "Debout !" ("Stand Up!") show at the Couvent des Jacobins in Rennes in 2018.

Part of the reason that Republicans are so desperately acting like they will never lose again is because they are deeply terrified that this is their last real chance to win. This might be controversial but I’m not sorry for loving you is gaslight: the song. Imagine trying to victimise yourself in front of the man you’ve held hostage for seven years like ??

I’m not saying Calypso isn’t a victim of her circumstances but she’s also responsible for her actions and even if the only thing she did in epic was be pushy towards Odysseus, that’s still bad !! Sexual harassment is terrible and I really hate that this behaviour is being defended just because Calypso had a shitty hand at life. She knew damn well Odysseus had a wife and wasn’t interested in her in the slightest and still chose to keep pursuing him to the point where he wanted to end his life.

EDIT: I’ve had a few people mention that this is the point of the song so I thought it was best to clarify what I mean as I think I’ve been a little confusing in my wording. I’m not pointing out the fact that the song is manipulative, I think it’s obvious in the context that Calypso is just trying to gaslight Odysseus into staying, my main issue is that there are people who are defending Calypso’s behaviour and excusing her actions because they feel sorry for her and the things she’s gone through.

It’s perfectly okay to sympathise with a character like Calypso who has had a hard life but that doesn’t mean you can excuse their actions because they have experienced trauma. I know some people might say it’s just a fictional character and it isn’t this deep but I think it’s heavily invalidating towards survivors to be defending such awful behaviour even if it is fictional and I just ask that people be kind and understanding towards this sensitive subject and think before you speak <3 thank you.

I know a lot of people use these two images to show Viktor's character development into a (what we have yet to seen) antagonist, but I think it shows a more resolute—hardened Viktor.

In this shot, Viktor is stagnant. He looks lost, sad, even surprised. He only watches on as Jayce speaks for them, and Hextech, as a whole.

In this scene, he feels and looks utterly powerless.

But this Viktor?

He looks determined. Resolute and unrelenting. Shaped, now, by his own regrets. Instead of Jayce doing the talking, Viktor does.

This is a Viktor who looks like he's daring the council to fuck with him, frankly. A Viktor that is determined to set things right, to not lose their dream again, no matter what.

(And whether Jayce and Viktor succeed in this, we'll see)
