astrid's in the first movie... it's near perfect and her role in the story is so vital bc her mind being changed makes stoick's mind being changed so much more believable. astrid's arc is such an interesting throughline to see the movie through. astrid being the most viking like of the teens and taking everything so seriously only to decide to give hiccup a chance (yes she was hanging off a tree rlly high off the ground and then only apologized bc toothless was whipping her around as payback for her attitude lol) but once toothless calms down that's when astrid rlly sits back and gives toothless & hiccup a chance & you just. see her relaxed for the first time in the movie and smiling so wide and it's SOOOOOOO. i love her so much.

ouughghghhhh many!! many thoughts!!!! i’m still bitter that a lot of good ships didn’t get an A support and lysinette is on par with dorogrid, which is one of my favorite ships in the game. they wrote two girls who are incredibly passionate about magic, love sweets and are younger than most of the other characters, made them fight and make peace about overworking themselves and refused to elaborate. don’t get me wrong, i like their support chain, but—uh. wait.

i just can’t believe they didn’t give annette the opportunity of knowing about lysithea’s crests when she can’t shut up about them in all her other supports. they literally refused to elaborate on why lysithea seems naturally gifted in annette’s eyes, and to me that would have given their fight a better closure that what they chose to end it with. annette should have also been one of those characters who help lysithea remove her second crest if they could end up together, despite her being a teacher and not a researcher in most of her endings.

I've written over 60 sides of a5, (not inc the inbetween sections where I wrote some stuff on the chromebook at home) some notes, some accidental first draft, bc I wanted something to take up the time. but my handwriting is terrible, I don't write fast enough for my brain, I have a lil dyslexia so the letters and words get jumbled sometimes, and I have this weird thing where I don't do spaces right. but I've been trying to upload it to Google docs with Bixby's photo text extraction. it's pretty good considering how bad my writing is, then I just need to go through and touch it up, the main issues are things like names, there's some letters I do weird like my v turns into an r, or every p it thinks is a capital, but overall. amazing how technology do that.

can't remember how I ended up back in fanfic hell but I read back through like all my old published fics (aside from the cringe ones I orphaned) and the writing isn't terrible. I don't think I actually finished any of them though, which really shows my true nature lmao,,, but I've picked up a few things on my writing style now. and I've got a few things I see other people do that I wanna avoid bc I personally don't like it, and it's mostly about balance, like using names too often/not enough, being too descriptive like All The Time and making the writing really nice, but not much happens in the story so you take like an hour to read each scene, vs not enough description so everything is happening but you don't really get a visual or a breather to appreciate what's happened so far. I've been working on finding my right balance, which is imo easier if you're writing fanfic bc first up you hardly ever have to describe the characters. if someone's reading it they already know who they are. and for scenes you can take some inspo from the source material. does the original work put alot of effort into setting a cool scene? if not, then you don't have to either! if it's 90% scenery then you've gotta do it too I don't make the rules

I've been thinking about trying out writing some BSD fics but on an anonym not linked to my main Ao3, bc the themes are doozys and I kinda just wanna have the freedom of anonymity. also I'm a baby and if someone publicly criticises my stuff without it being a requested critique then it makes me bleh (I've had a few comments in the past of just general negatives, not even constructive feedback, not that I asked for any anyway...), but the abilities are tricky to write for, so it's effort lol

1) Top priority. "Something good in all seeming failures" (<-Should be medium to hard. I'm not sure how many chapters this one will take and I feel it needs a good level of writting, I don't want to half ass it)

2) "Like cats and dogs" (<- Medium. Not too interested in finishing unless I have a good wrapping for it)

3) "The day the pirates came to town" (<- Unlikely. But I still don't wanna give up on the idea of a choose your adventure kind of One Piece fanfic. But I think I should re do the whole thing.)

so i just read hits different i can NOT not praise u for this work

u really have a way with words and i had to take breaks to read to whole thing (I spent to whole day reading it) bc I was getting overwhelmed with emotions, I was so sad and afraid that they wouldn't work out and it was the first time that I read a fanfic that long that I truly cared abt the characters story and emotions and hyuck being willing to do everything to make things work and him being so soft and gentle just completely melted my heart

reading hits different was a hell of a ride but it was so good and i even let a sigh of relief when everything ended fine in the end

also I kept remembering a lot of Taylor's songs throughout the reading (not just hits different) and that just made the reading even more good

one of the best experiences I had reading fanfics in the site u are amazing fr

anyway I hope u can understand how much I loved hits different from this (english is not my first language so im sorry if it was kinda confusing)

What is the Hell’s studio AU

Ohoho… ohohoho…. I WAS WONDERING WHEN YOU'D ASK!!

Okay, so firstly, Hell's Studio is a REALLY GOOD Bendy and the Ink Machine AU. Basically the best possible outcome where nobody dies, everyone is a good guy and happy (even if some people act otherwise) and the toons are even alive and chilling!!

It's mostly a comedy and crack treated seriously kinda AU, and for what exactly it's about, there's a masterpost by the creator right here!! It's filled with generic info and just lil' facts, although it's a bit outdated and doesn't have all of the info from this AU on there, you can just go through the hell's studio au tag on their blog.

There are also quite a few characters that aren't part of it, too, since the AU came out around Chapter 2 and 3, so obviously this AU is NOT compatible with canon- the characters all have their own designs and personalities which, while the latter of which are generally similar to canon (apart from a couple characters), are still pretty different. I like the hell's studio versions more

This AU also spawned a couple pages' worth of one-shot fanfiction and drabbles containing funny escapades of the main cast, some of which have been declared canon by the AU author, and others being fairly popular.

Of course, this also includes the most popular, non fandom crossover genfic in the fandom, which is Through a mirror, Darkly, part of the Cracked Glass fanfic series that there's no fucking way you HAVEN'T seen me talk about because holy shit. Holy F U C K

(Basically, it's a crossover fanfiction with Hell's Studio and Canon, it's SO good, with quite a bit of dark and angsty moments, but it's so charming and definitely has lax fluff too. Everyone gets trauma and then heals the trauma. If you read it and talk about it with me I will platonically marry you and this is a threat. I could talk abt this all day)
