Shoutout to characters who use compassion as a bludgeon to hurt themselves with under the guise of self-sacrifice. Lowkey glad that I’m pretty aware of the fallible nature of a young adult brain. I’ve had friends before who said things like “I’ll probably never find love ever” “I’ll probably feel this way forever” “this situation will get worse I just know it” and you can truly tell they believe that w their mind body and soul. And I can be like that sometimes too. Bc that’s just how an underdeveloped brain works, it makes you want to believe things in absolutes. But I’ve been getting so much better at combating that and being aware of when I’m getting into the incorrect mode of thinking something is 100% the truth when I don’t have nearly enough data to back it up

I understand the very intense reactions to this, but it's extremely upsetting and triggering to go into this fandom after a controversy and see so many people wishing very graphic and real harm onto people when Dream has always wrapped up issues with nothing but respect, understanding, and hope. I certainly don't appreciate or respect the Brighton Crew, their fans, and every other bad actor that has involved themselves in this, and nobody has to, but Dream makes his antiharassment beliefs very clear. We can support him and want justice for him without perpetuating the online cycle of hatred, harassment, and abuse.

New book I'm reading has two different viewpoints - fine, no problem, I like getting to see a romance from both ends and see how utterly mistaken both people are about each other.

First section is first person, not what I was expecting but fine. Second section we swap to the other guy and IT"S IN THIRD PERSON.
