As promised, one of the wagon cars of the Razor Train from Half Life! I freelanced the wheels since I don't really like how the official model's back axles are grossly larger than the front, so I wanted to make the lower trim more streamlined to match the locomotive.

#pokespe#trainer diamond#trainer pearl#platinum berlitz#platinum thought that she was travelling with bodyguards for like 2 weeks#also decided to wear a skirt and sleevless shirt on a snowy mountain while skiing#there's lots of things she did that will prove my point#but platinum is the last person to hold the braincell#pearl might get to be the braincell holder#but he also thought that platinum was their tour guide and didn't realize it until the actual bodyguards show up#dia on the other hand#he knew that something was off during the dp arc but didn't say anything because he wanted to spend time with pearl and platinum#along with the fact that he can think rationally and stratigicly#first to act when the trio officially met cyrus#came up with the one mach speed razor leaf to train his heavy team#i think it's more of that dia is the braincell but pretends that pearl has it

i need to get less ashamed of talking about my interests on my 0 follower tumblr blog because if i don't point out that despite having one of the most interesting concepts ever presented in a genshin event, shadows amidst snowstorms was not actually well written, and was in fact pretty Poorly written, then who else will. Who else will.

Amber who is an Outrider trained to Notice Danger. Either left joel with fakebedo without noticing anythin#or the actual explanation: hoyo didn't care enough to write her because. well. Amber Bad#the next time we see her is when she shows up with bennett#amber used to have a lot of fire to her and this sort of unique not quite cockiness but like. easy way to tell she used to be the difficult#kid we hear about in her character stories and teapot dialogue#she serves no purpose in shadows amidst snowstorms#an event that easily could've capitalized on the Horror aspect of being trapped with a doppelganger of one of your coworkers and shown off#ALL the characters (because get this. You can make people wanna spend on characters who aren't meta by making them Like Them.)#but amber? no value in any event she's ever been in. she talks about good hunter and sticky honey roast. she gets flustered. euIa pays for#her meal. Remember how she was in Almost All of razor's story quest and then when they needed a knight to give him a gift in weinlessefest#they chose...SUCROSE AND NOELLE?#remember how collei has had more on screen interactions with fucking euIa and sucrose than AMBER#how amber and collei's reunion was what people wanted to see and instead it happens off screen and amber simply isn't relevant during#windblume? how amber didn't get a skin with lisa and kaeya? how amber has no appearance in kaeya's hangout event despite their dynamic in#the webtoon and her being suspicious of him presenting so much room to work with?#her tcg dialogue has a meta joke in it. Because amber bad and amber doesn't exist outside of euIa and connecting collei to euIa#and i could go on. about the writing for cyno. about collei. about the way they write kokomi or any genius character. about albedo even.#about all my Other gripes with euIa because they go to about every single aspect of her character except her Basic personality#which is to say the personality we see in most of her voicelines. she could've literally been a saving grace for the cast if she weren't on#of the like top 3 worst written characters#i could talk about like almost any character's decay but that's not the point. In quite possibly the most ingenious move in the history of public transportation, the train company has addressed the frequent lateness of early morning trains by... making them late on the timetable. They just moved them 10 minutes back and that's it.
#this also makes my life much harder#because I get the first train of the morning and need to make a connection that leaves once an hour#the new timetable gives me 2 minutes to connect#I used to have time to get coffee between trains#now I need to run#I'd rather have a good connection that occasionally gets cut short than a razor thin barely made it connection when on time#ugh#trains#public transportation#timetable changes

This! This. Similar recent experience: I learned there’s an unhoused population encampment in the woods at the end of my street. It’s a quiet street, we have next to zero issues; the way we found out is one (1) idiot caused a car fire in the woods somehow, and the fire department was called, whereupon they found the encampment some way back from the car fire.
This does not matter to me. The car fire was resolved. The encampment have been perfectly quiet neighbors - no one even knew it was there.
And now two of my neighbors are making regular calls to code enforcement and the police to try to roust these people out of a space just because they now know they’re there. Just - why does that matter? What is the point, when they’ve been barely noticed until now?
You know.
I think I'm pretty normal.
When I see someone sleeping out of their truck in the Kohl's parking lot, I mind my fucking business.
What I don't do is get on the community facebook group and complain that there's someone always sleeping in the parking lot and say 'how are they allowed to do this?', alert the authorities that there's someone sleeping in the parking lot, and then get the person sleeping in the parking lot kicked out of the parking lot.
That's a lot of shit to do about a stranger in the parking lot when you coulda minded ya business.
#I suspect the point is fear and also ingrained classism#this isn’t a fancy neighborhood#we’re urban and a little run down and bracketed on two sides by major highway and a third by train tracks#so it’s not…this is not suburbia I’m talking about#the woods are a baffle between our street and one of the highways#(it’s still loud as fuck but not visible I guess? idk)#but the people in this neighborhood know the fear of the razor edge is my point#we all know we’re one tragedy away from also being unhoused#and so many people’s reaction to that fear is anger#anyway it’s just. it fucking sucks#so what if people are living in the woods they’re not hurting anyone!!
