The Weight of a Pedestal

i accuse you of needing to be right while standing on a pedestal i built of twigs and logs peaking just inches out of the ocean if you push me off we’re all drowning

i can’t be wrong about what I need fix me fix yourself first and then fix me too i can count on my fingers all the times i couldn't count on you yet i couldn't count on one hand all the times I could count on myself

i’m 3 miles below the ocean's surface now a submarine the color of who knows what it's too dark down here to tell and the pressure rings in my ears screaming why aren't you here to take the pressure off

i never learned how to work a submarine

i apologize again after scolding you for loving me the way you were forced to love your parents

i'd like to open up my sadness stroke it like a frightened kitten but it panics, it scratches, and i need someone to help take the blame for not holding it for the marks it keeps causing i can’t soothe it. can you? no? why not? damnit.

you deserve more patience than what i’ve given you more than a ruler slapping a desk top after a sleepless night more than a 6 month old puppy biting lightly

can we treat each other like children because we are we always have been my pedestals breaking in

What is life exactly? do you ever ask yourself this? are we barely existing or are we surviving or are we just obliged to work about the hackneyed way of society?

Purposes of our lives are really questionable but one thing we can do is to take ourselves out of these isochronal lifestyle and sometimes just appreciate our presence around the world. We must not know our purposes here but we are chosen to be a part of a world of living . We are so tangled up right from the birth till teenage to study our asses off and then suddenly the horrible transition into adulthood which brings about tons of responsibilities and till we figure out and bring our life together its already time to leave .

Life has a whole lot to offer if you see around yourself and observe this beautiful creation of life. Everything has something to say to you. Look at the sunrise, its telling you how you could purify the dark void inside you and start afresh every morning with new rays of living will. The birds chirping showing us how we are meant to talk ourselves out and not worry about being too loud and apologize for the "bad mannerism" ,how our thoughts and feelings are supposed to fly out there and not meant to be captivated in the cages of illiberality . A bright beautiful flower which has bloomed even though it'll die in a short span, It is still standing out there cheerful and bright for the time its alive. The nights ,which are not so scary as they are thought to be , rather they bring a breeze of calmness and peace with it ,a time just to rest our hustling mind and heart and slow down the pace of life for a bit ; that's what night tells us. When you look at all this with an offbeat perspective you sure would find meaning in everything .

Our souls are fragile and overworking ourselves is quiet normalised rather its a necessity nowadays . But hey nothing is more powerful than a calm and composed mind and heart. SLOW DOWN,REST FOR A BIT,SMILE,DRINK SOME COFFEE WHILST LOOKIN AT A PRETTY SUNSET QUIETY, TRUST ME YOU NEED IT MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU DO.

2018 Cap-Iron Man Exchange Gifts unveiled on January 2nd

It’s the eighth day of reveals! Each day we will be revealing the gifts created by participants of the 2018 Cap-Iron Man Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts. Over the next days the creators’ identities will be hidden. On January 4th, there will be a post to guess their identities then on January 6th, we will reveal all of the creators who participated this year. (Remember if you've created a work for the Holiday Exchange or Community Gifts, please remain anonymous until reveals!) Here are today’s gifts!

He hopes that with the perfect gift, he'll finally be able to take their relationship to the next level. There's only one problem — the name he picked actually isn't Tony’s. ★ Keeping a Close Eye for sheron (616, 3017 Words) Steve and Tony are avoiding each other. Carol takes it upon herself to find out why. ★ Once the Brain Fog Clears for Shaliara (MCU, 5945 Words) SHIELD HQ loses contact with their Arctic Base, and they ask Steve, Sam, and Nat to go recover their agents. But there is a monster lurking in the ice, and it knows Steve's weaknesses. ★ Skrull Steve for dirigibleplumbing (Any, Art) Tony is biased when it comes to Steve, even if it isn't really him. ★ Until the Smoke Clears for RawWriting (MCU, 2778 Words) Tony was born an omega, but Howard, in shame, turns him into a beta. After the fight at Johannesburg with the Hulk, Bruce & Cho inject Tony with experimental nanites to save his life. It works, but he’s also physically 21, turned back into his original omega gender, and is now apparently Captain America’s scent mate. Captain America, who’s never noticed that Tony was interested, and then some. Fuck his life. ★ wrench in the works for morcabre (MCU, 1884 Words) Steve hadn't known how to court someone in 1939 and he sure as hell doesn't know how to do it in 2014. He's determined to try though. ★ Fun Overdue for Cap Iron Man Community (616, 1050 Words) Tony seeks Steve out for some fun, as it so happens... Steve was in the library. ★ If You Lived Here, You'd Be Home Now for Cap Iron Man Community (MCU, 12953 Words) "Hold that thought," Tony said into his phone. "I apparently just got hit by a hitchhiker." "You hit a hitchhiker?" Happy sounded horrified. "What? Am I talking to a wall? I got hit by a hitchhiker." Having just broken up with Pepper, Tony is driving to California on Christmas Eve. When he picks up a hitchhiker, he hardly expects him to be the former Captain America, defrosted and on the run from SHIELD. ★ In Sickness and in Health for Cap Iron Man Community (Avengers Assemble, 1031 Words) If Steve has to physically sit on Tony to make him take a rest, he will. He just hopes it doesn’t come to that. ★ An Infinite Loop for Cap Iron Man Community (616, 750 Words) "You and I were meant to be together, even if we weren't meant to be happy." ★ Red for Cap Iron Man Community (616, Art]) Fill for the prompt: RACK S/M! I would love this to be really vicious and have them both really into it. ★ Off to a Caffeinated Start for Cap Iron Man Community (616, Art) After however-many (too many) hours of being awake, Tony was forced out of his workshop and into bed. Now, our tousled genius needs to reboot his brain. This situation calls for coffee, of course. ★ Try, Try Again for Cap Iron Man Community (Marvel Adventures, 1662 Words) Steve’s plans usually work out pretty well. This time, though? When all he really wants to do is ask Tony a very important question? Not so much. ★ unforgettable for Cap Iron Man Community (MCU, 5729 Words) It is pretty certain that even if Steve didn't have an eidetic memory, the images of Tony's sex tape would be seared into his mind anyway.

Tony has been getting presents from Bucky for over a month now. He can't figure out if the cultural meanings from Vietnam are intentional or accidental.

So he makes some cà phê, reminiscing about his own personal interactions with Vietnamese Culture over the years. He thinks about if he wants it to mean Bucky is interested in him or not. Then, he finally gets the nerve to open the most recent box.

Gift for the Halloween Stony exchange. Tony Stark made the most incredible weapons the world had ever seen. Unfortunately he learns far too late his own country is the villain in this story. He has blood on his hands, seeped into his soul- but somehow, it takes this blood to be literal before he once again feels enough to create anything.

Told from Tony's POV, with disjointed and hypomanic edging, at the tail end of a 2 day blacksmithing bender on top of detoxing from alcohol. Please do what you need to for self care.
