I mean. I guess that's alright...better than nothing 💀
Had her leash between my legs bc I was smoking and taking videos of this awesome, massive murder:
There were many more than that. They put on a huge show for us and I'm grateful to have seen and heard it. There were others that were closer and louder and every couple of minutes there would be a massive swarm moving this way or that way and it got loud af. I can't post my best vid because you can hear me in it (saying "Pls don't poop on us, we're family 😭!" LOL). But trust, there were many, many of them all around our streets here.
Happy Halloween, bitches

Yoko: So.
Wednesday, looking up from her book: What?
Yoko: Have you ever liked anyone other than Enid?
Wednesday:
Yoko: Come on, you're stuck with me all day, might as well answer.
Wednesday: Fine, I did have a brief crush on Bianca prior to liking Enid.
Yoko: HOLY SHIT.
Yoko: Wait, why are you telling me this?
Wednesday, leaning in: Because no one will believe you.

Its funny how it seemed like Tyler was gonna let Wednesday go to the raven without getting upset, but when he learns it was with xavier he was like: "😮😞 got it. 😐 Hope you two have some fun 😶😑☹️🫤😕🙄 (he probably took the hint of wednesday not being too fond of xavier and assumed she would rather eat her own foot than go with him, but boom there it was, our girl giving in because she was interested if he was the one behind the murders or not. And tyler is not happy with this.)
If it was eugene he would probably be like "oh enjoy. Tell him i say hi." Cause he knows eugene is not a threat and harmless and wednesday treats him like a younger brother. But when he figured it was with xavier he was like; so you would rather go to the dance with that creepy elite than me? I thought you liked me?🥲😡🤬 why are u doing this to me?😞😐

So I just read an article about the Rave'N dance scene and along with it came the question of "can season 2 top its viral dance?"
And honestly, I don't think it needs to.
I don't think we need another dance scene or anything like it either.
Wednesday has already done her little bird mating dance for Tyler, so there's no reason for her to do anything like it again, especially given where their relationship lies at the moment so I don't particularly think this version of Wednesday would be willing to do it all again.
At the end of the day, I think season 2 really doesn't need any "iconic" scenes or any more dancing because it is not needed in order to tell a good story. And besides, that's not what the show's about anyway, because let's be honest here, that dance is the reason why the show blew up as big as it did. It's been the main focus whenever you go through social media or ask someone about it, and it was all Jenna ever got asked about in interviews and such. Like, the dance is always brought up. I think we ought to leave it in the past.
Yes, I probably took it way too literally but I just felt the need to say it. ok, good talk.

Is it my imagination or are Enid and Wednesday lip-looking each other fairly regularly as season 1 progresses?

I don't have time for this, but regarding all of the people whining that some of us are whining that Mejia's Wednesday is OOC: She is literally out of character here:
Tumblr media
Changing canon lines like this is out of character. It goes against canon, and none of us need to accept anything that goes directly against canon.
Y'all seem to forget about the big deal that was made about Ortega changing lines because she didn't feel like they fit her character portrayal of Wednesday. This book is Mejia's character portrayal of Wednesday, not Ortega's.
And it is disrespectful of canon, especially when you take a line like "I'd do it again" and turn it into some shit that YOU KNOW would never fucking fall from Ortega's Wednesday's lips and actually didn't. Mejia took a LOT of her fantastic, expressed sarcasm and coldness out in favor of...this crap.
Tumblr media
And this is alllll apart from the Wenclair stuff. My main gripes aren't even about the Wenclair baiting. It's about the integrity of the character as portrayed by Ortega. And the integrity of Enid's, of Larissa's, of BIANCA'S...my gods the shitty way Bianca was treated as a Mean Girl competitor all the way to the end, even though we know from the show that she wasn't.
The whole book screws up the emotional evolution that we watched Wednesday take on screen. It lessens the impact of key events on her psyche, but yanno, I guess that's unimportant to the "fans" here.

Bet Tyler expected Wednesday to not want to dance at the rave'n or thought that maybe she can't. So when she suddenly go all out with her mating ritual dance, he probably got taken aback like "whoa didn't know this goth chick can move this way, that's a first." maybe he even practiced a bit before coming, thinking he'd lead her (boy was dressed accordingly and even brought a corsage, he came prepared.) only to be danced down by Wednesday. As they were dancing, he looked like he was enjoying seeing her do her thing and just went along with it, probably why he didn't move much.
Tumblr media
(i was also thinking, maybe Tyler not dancing that much was intentional so that Wednesday's dance will be the highlight or something and it was effective since it was everywhere. hope we see him dance with her next season tho, coz we all know that Adam clip from Your Honor *wink wink)

WENCLAIR DANCED TOGETHER AT THE RAVE'N Y'ALL. I REPEAT, WENCLAIR DANCED TOGETHER AT THE RAVE'N. WE WERE SO ROBBED IN THE SHOW HELP 😭
Enid bumps shoulders with me after Lucas excuses himself and for a moment, I’m not sorry I came. As often as I’ve danced alone in my room, there’s something about collective movement. About feeling the rhythm of music as a whole…
“Yo, yo, yo,” calls the DJ as the song is winding down. “It’s almost closing time, so haul it out onto the dance floor one last time before the Rave’N says Nevermore.”
“That’s my cue,” I say to Enid as a house beat replaces the eccentric bassline of “Goo Goo Muck.” But she clings to my arm.
“Don’t go!” she cries. “Lucas still isn’t back yet and it’s the last song of the night!”
“Fine,” I say. I’m still full of endorphins from dancing; that’s the only explanation I can offer.
Enid gasps, tilting her head up and prompting me to do the same as glittering snowflakes begin to swirl down from a hidden machine in the rafters. The light from the disco balls reflects off of them, and the room is momentarily transformed into something vaguely magical. Even I’m not totally immune.
— From the book 'Wednesday, a novelization of season one.'
