Flynn's head swings between the figure on the ground in front of him and the figures retreating, sharp eyes having noted the aggression in their stances.

This was not worrying at all, least of all the muttering about what was coming to them. Belatedly, Flynn realises he should attempt to help the other up, offering a hand -- and retracting it awkwardly when the other gets up on his own.

"Teleport? No." Flynn snorts a laugh. Maybe in the ocean he'd be quiet enough to move like that, but not here in this dingey alley after sunset. "Nah, you were just focused on old mates when I passed by," he jerks a thumb towards the mouth of the alley that he'd come through. "and I wanted to help if there was any actual trouble." "Shhh, shh, shhh." Fuck. She honestly thought sneaking a chocolate bar into her hoodie's pocket would go unnoticed by the clerk behind the counter, and they would get out of the store without any issues, but oh boy, she was wrong. A petty crime ended up with them running away, getting into the crowd of people when police who happened to be near the store were chasing them and seemingly lost them the more they were surrounded by people. Reina is holding the man's hand while looking over her shoulder frantically, and she's turning to the left, then to the right, making sure they don't just walk straight for the cops to catch them up. "We will be fine." Is she trying to convince him or herself? She doesn't know. She just knows they need to get to her home one way or another and hope their faces weren't caught by the security cameras.

         a sudden confession that came from left field, and jinhae almost swerved off the road as he was surprised by it. unfortunately for him, because he paid good money to be able to get kiha out of some precarious people's hands, they wanted to negotiate with him again - which, to him, is another way of saying that they just need more money and they found someone new to harass. " hmm ? where is this coming from ? " if anything, jinhae finds it cute, as a smile spreads on his features once his words sink in. he wasn't afraid of anything, knowing that if things ever get out of hand, he had the right connections. or can fight, if need be. reaching over the island and grabbing a hold of kiha's hand, he gives it a small, reassuring squeeze, placing them over his lap, " you're not going to lose me. i'm not going anywhere,i promise you. " hearing these things before would have made him run the other way, but he knew that kiha was different to him. there's no way anyone could wipe off the grin on his face, as he's just happy to hear how much he means to the younger. giving his hand another squeeze, but this time, raising it up to his lips, jinhae gives him a kiss there, " it will take an army and a half to keep me away from you, kiha ya. " gaze softening as he looks over the passenger side, " you're so special to me. remember that. "

"anyway, i'm not shy, i'm just ..." he tries to think of a way to phrase this that won't get turned into some sort of innuendo, huffing a little. The quietness has fallen over them again after her little reveal of the odd dream she had. A gentle shove was given to him, and she rolled her eyes before turning her gaze toward the sky she's been staring at for some time now. Once in a while, she steals glances at him and lets out a heavy sigh. The dream she had fucked up the way she sees him. He always has been a stupid boy who got her into different shit, but now? He is a handsome stupid boy. Attractive even. Ever since their last abandoned place, Reina has seen him in a different light. Instead of leaving her behind, he actually made sure she was safe.

Reina doesn't realize she's been staring at him, biting the inside of her cheek until his voice brings her back to earth. "Huh?" It's the first thing that leaves her mouth, and with a shake of her head, her brain finally registers what's happening. She's been staring at him. "Nothing. You just look stupid." And with those words, she goes back to looking at the sky.

hearing such a suggestion, namgil couldn't help blinking in surprise, silent for a moment as he processed kiha's words. " you... want to stay? " he had to ask, as if said words were foreign to him and he needed to make sure. however, after another moment or two, namgil felt himself growing a little excited with the idea, a smile beginning to show on his features.
