From a glance over his shoulder, Raphael turned around to face his fellow immortal. Despite Pascale offering the sword, Raphael held another blade in his hand, although that one he quickly sheathed so he could accept the other.

"A traditional longsword is too heavy for my old bones..." Raphael spoke, half to himself, "and I dislike the lack of reach a shortsword provides, a good old hand-and-a-half sword is just the perfect medium I prefer."

As if to emphasise his point, he flourished the sword with an agility and grace one would not expect from a man so old, centuries of mastery showing itself in how the blade moved like an extension of his body. Raphael wasn't one to show off too much though, he soon brought the blade to rest, tip pointed towards the ground.

"Dare I ask where this sword even turned up? I only found it missing this morning..."

I said Casey didn’t know Raph and Donnie were brothers. Here’s how he found out.

Lucifer is of course coffee ice cream, he literally NEEDS caffeine to function, he’s bitter at first, but becomes sweeter the more you’re around him

Mammon is mango, he’s so sweet like mangoes and also yummy like them (I may be biased)

Levi is chocolate chip, pretty basic but a very safe choice, he’s liked it forever and we all know how much he hates getting out of his comfort zone

Satan is a caramel ice cream fan, and he may or may not think it makes him superior to other people who like more basic options, because he chooses a flavor you don’t think about everyday (as if his own isn’t also kinda basic)

Asmo is vanilla! Which is such a contradiction to his personality, but it’s sweet and elegant, always a popular choice too!

Beel likes ALL ice cream but if he had to choose only one, it would be birthday cake flavor! It’s so yummy and has such appetizing colors!

Belphie’s favorite flavor is cookie dough, but he always chooses mint chocolate chip instead because it was Lilith’s favorite.

Diavolo like rocky road! It’s the castle favorite actually! But he enjoys pudding more personally.

Barbatos likes butter pecan, occasionally he will eat rocky road with Dia but he tends to stick to what he’s particular to.

Simeon is old, he doesn’t know slang, he can’t use the internet, and he likes pistachio ice cream, end of story.

Luke likes strawberry! It’s a sweet and soft treat and fits him perfectly.

Not just seated, but bound, a prisoner of Mephistopheles as he was strapped down to the chair, arms tied behind his back and ankles bound to the wooden furniture.

Haarlep had to wonder what exactly it was that Raphael had done to piss Daddy dearest off this time (and why it was his punishment to suffer along the way). The visits to Cania were always such a dramatic ordeal. Most times, it had the master of the House returning in one of his signature moods. Hellfire would threaten to engulf the inhabitants, lest they move out of his way. Those that knew Raphael well enough would plan their exit quickly, but those that did not... Well, Haarlep enjoyed feasting on their charred remains, and doting on his precious brat as he'd offer a burnt limb in some kind of peace offering. Either that or his lips wrapped around a certain needy devil cock.

An unfortunate turn of events it had been this evening, when no other than Mephistopheles himself had returned alongside his son. The entire House had turned cold. So cold that the infernal engines threatened to stop and the House of Hope could have plummeted into the wasteland of Avernus' surface.

Haarlep may have preferred that... maybe, if it weren't for those angry eyes that were glued to his. Raphael detested the idea of his little play thing, his perfect copy, getting touched by his father. It killed him to see it, to know it, to know that Mephistopheles was claiming his personal incubus--and Haarlep (though he held no love for Mephistopheles) felt his cock thicken at the sight of his little pissed off brat.
