Nervous and going out on a date with a coworker I've had a crush on for a year. How should I get to know him better?
Thankfully there are several safe and informative questions you can ask on a first date to get to know someone:
How many moose could you take in a fight? What if they were only the front half of each moose?
How many pizzas have you eaten today? Answer to the nearest integer of multiple of φ or I will leave.
How long have you been on tumblr? Why won't you admit you are on tumblr? What if I said I reblogged your selfie of August 17th 2015, 6:35PM eastern time?
You have lovely teeth, where did you find them?
What character's action figure would you put in your brony-jar?
Why are you leaving? Why did you leave your socks? What do you mean those are my socks? Why would MY socks have little pictures of your parents and siblings on them in spiral patterns?
What is your favorite Ayn Rand novel?
Kidding aside, don't ask that last one it's pretty messed up.
#good luck on your actual date and please do not ask any of these#unreality#cw brony jar mention#cw ayn rand mention#actual advice go to a bookstore together and learn about each others favorites

Lucid Dreamer (2/2)
part 1
Gepard stalls almost a week before he finally goes out to the safehouse, and it takes him a couple days to find it because Sampo didn't have the time left to be wasn't super specific about the location. But he does find it.
It's pretty bare bones, really. Gepard knows that was probably to be expected, but… It feels crushing, when he realizes there are so few personal things here. It's nothing specific to Sampo. Just some food, some medical supplies. A cot and a heater and a lot of mismatched blankets. Nothing to remember someone by.
But he does find the letters, in a metal box stashed away under the bed.
There are two for him. Three for Natasha, and two for Seele. One for Hook, one for Serval, one for Pela, one for Bronya.
Bronya's is mostly business. They knew each other from the whole Stellaron incident, but not much beyond that, and the incoming catastrophe is a more pressing matter. Seele's is actually two copies of the same letter, and Gepard realizes why when Seele is so angry she rips the first one up without reading it. He gives her the copy a couple days later, and she slinks off without a word.
Pela seems completely normal after hers is delivered, but Gepard knows better than to trust that. The next day, he finds her asleep in bed with Serval, bottles abandoned on the floor, both their eye makeup smeared and running and Pela's glasses horribly smudged and crooked on her face. Serval doesn't read hers in front of him, but she's clingy with Gepard, Pela, and Lynx for quite a while after. She throws herself into her work a lot. She insists the heater from the safehouse is busted and she needs to keep it. It's too dangerous for use by someone who's not an engineer. Might burn their house down or something. Gepard doesn't argue.
Hook's letter is short, with easy to read words. The rest of it is actually a treasure map, and she and the moles spend the next several days running through the Underground, finding hidden candy and toys. Hook asks them when Sampo is coming back, because one of the marbles she found from his map looks green, just like his eyes, and she wants to give it to him. Natasha shoos Gepard out of the clinic before he can even begin to think of an answer.
Natasha refuses to let him see what's in her letters, which ok, fine, he'll respect that. He hears from Bronya who heard from Seele who heard from Natasha herself though that one of the letters was a map and the other a catalogue, with all of Sampo's hidden "warehouses." Gepard promptly marches himself back out to the frontlines, where he can turn a blind eye. If a ton of stolen goods suddenly enters the black market, and if the orphanage and the clinic suddenly have new supplies, well, technically that's none of his business.
Gepard goes to bed, curls up under mismatched blankets and closes his eyes.
He doesn't dream.
One of Gepard's letters was also business, like Bronya's and Natasha's. He and Bronya follow everything meticulously, down to the letter, because there has to be some good to get out of all this, there has to be. Gepard can't let it all be for nothing, it would bury him.
And so the catastrophe passes. Not without casualties, and not without a lot of damage and destruction. But Belobog survives.
And after that, time just kind of…goes on. Gepard has been a part of the Silvermanes since he was old enough to enlist. The Fragmentum had gotten so much worse in the years before Welt sealed the Stellaron. He knows the statistics, it is literally his and Pela's jobs to keep track. He knows when he sees a face everyday in the camps and then it's suddenly gone. He's not unfamiliar with things like grief and loss.
He still catches himself checking the trashcans and the supply crates and soldiers' footprints sometimes, though.
But there comes a night where Gepard goes to bed, holding the mismatched blankets to his face, and he dreams. And it's strange, it's off, it sticks with him. Sampo doesn't look the same. He's thinner. His muscles have atrophied. He looks like how Gepard has seen soldiers after months in the hospital.
The most unsettling difference is there's a scar across the left side of his head, Gepard can see it over his ear, peeking out past his hairline, carving towards his cheek. Sampo is always careful about his face. Gepard once saw him dodge a Fragmentum monster and literally let it cut across his neck just to keep his face clear. He wouldn't let that happen for nothing.
Their actions in the dream itself aren't new. Sampo seems tired, run down and worn out, but he announces his presence with aplomb by lobbing a bunch of smoke bombs off the rooftops and sending his soldiers scrambling. Same shit, different day.
The new part is what he says when Gepard chases him out to the edges of the camp, tackles him into the snow. Gepard pins him to the frozen ground to detain him and Sampo doesn't even fight it, just looks up at him like he's seeing sunrise for the first time in months.
"I'll be home in one week."

to finish this absolute madness I'm dealing with trying to put these together I give you the ones I forgot to add bc I lost them or didn't feel like worked right yet I still like, plus ones that I just had no place for at all. (aka solo topaz stuff)
bonusss, I wrote this very early on into playing hsr and realised this would be really neat to make in the maker. it's not much of a meme but a funny idea on stuff Kafka could have done.

WoT Meta: 'Salvation and Rebirth'
One thing that is fascinating to me about The Wheel of Time is that, despite the fact that the two of the biggest influences on Robert Jordan's cosmology are traditional Hinduism and Protestant theology (in general but especially American Protestantism), as near as I have been able to determine on my 20+ re-reads his world has neither a concept of karma or heaven.
Karma- the belief that your deeds in your current life will impact your rebirth in your next life (to vastly simplify)- is very Big Deal in Hinduism (and several other related religions, such as Buddhism- another big influence on Jordan's cosmology) and yet it is entirely absent from anyone's belief system in the WoT. No one seems to attach strongly to the idea that terrible deeds in your past life might be the source of your misfortune in this one, or that the reason to do good things in this life is to ensure a better rebirth next time. People hope for rebirth into a better life all the time, but they treat this as a capricious whim of fate, not something their actions might reasonably impact.
Interestingly though, some characters do subscribe to semi-related idea, not from Hinduism, but Christianity: Godly living. This is the idea that all troubles are self inflicted, and that if you just work hard, live virtuously, and embrace God ('walk in the light') nothing bad will happen to you ('you wont attract the Dark One's attention'). But their is no serious suggestion that this might be tied to past or future lives, and also the series takes great pains to demonstrate that it's wrong. Bad things happen to seemingly good people all the time (including Our Heroes), and if their is rhyme or reason to be found in it, it's usually the result of a working of fate so vast that the characters involved can not perceive it with their limited knowledge and view. This is one of those central themes of the series that I find so compelling and one Moiraine lays out in TDR (and during her confrontation with Logain in the show): The Wheel itself is not good or evil, it just is, and it weaves fate to a design so intricate and so massive that the human lives pulled about within it are given as much care as....well, as the loom gives to a single strand in a tapestry.
In the same vein the idea of a heaven- an enteral paradise, even just an intermediate one between rebirths, is also absent from Jordan's world building. Their is a belief that your soul will return to the nebulous 'Light' upon death if you where a good person and be taken by the Dark One if you where a bad, but no one seems to equate the 'returning to the Light' with being rewarded for good actions with a paradise where all their desires and needs will be meet, and where they get to chill out until, presumably, its time to be reborn. The idea of Heaven- that earthly suffering being rewarded after death with eternal salvation is a Big Deal in pretty much all Christianity but especially Protestantism, which fundamentally is/was about the idea that salvation could not be gate kept by earthly institutions and was solely the providence of God to deny or grant. The closest you get in Jordan's world any kind of afterlife is the World of Dreams, where the Heroes of the Horn (and only the Heroes) await their rebirth. But that can't properly be called a Heaven- not when nightmares walk it, and the conflicts of the living world can easily, and frequently do, seep inside. Not to mention any mortal can reach it without having to die- by just going to sleep.
And which, on that note, the very idea of the Heroes of the Horn is contradictory to the idea of an eternal salvation. In a system where their is salvation after death, the Heroes would be rewarded for their valor and heroism with eternal peace. Instead their reward is endless lifetimes of adventure, which means endless conflict but also endless legends and stories, as well as the chance to keep making the world better, righting wrongs and putting fate back on track. In this way the Heroes of the Horn are clearly inspired by the idea of the Dashavatara from Hinduism- mortal incarnations born specifically right the ship of cosmic order when fate/the world is getting out of whack. But interestingly, in Hinduism the Dashavataras (and the other avatars) are all Gods taking mortal flesh, and so inherently divine. This is an idea, once again, that many people in Jordan's world believe to be true (most notably the Prophet and his followers) but isn't- Rand isn't the Creator in the flesh, or a vessel of the Light. He's just a person, one whose heroic nature and kind heart earned him a place as a Hero of the Horn, but still mortal beneath all else that he is. And that fallibility, that reality that he isn't a God, that he can bled, be hurt, die, even turn to the Shadow- is a core part of understanding Rand's character arc.
One final thought on this (and the thing that started me thinking on the subject to begin with since The Fires of Heaven is where we are introduced to this idea for the first time in the books): there is something incredibly fascinating to me that to the characters in Jordan's world, the highest and most sacred oath you can swear is on 'your hope of salvation and rebirth'- which taken in the lens of our world are two fundamentally opposed ideas. For Christians salvation is eternal- the salvation of the immortal soul in Heaven free from earthly suffering. In Hinduism, rebirth by definition means continuation on earth, a chance to redeem past mistakes, to better the world, to make new good karma that will enrich your fate.
And yet, the characters in Randland don't view them as contradictory (or if someone does we never hear them voice that thought). Which makes me suspect that salvation and rebirth refers to the Prophecies of the Dragon and the hope they will come true. Salvation in this context is not the salvation of the soul, but the salvation of the world, the wheel, the pattern, fate- saved to continue on into eternity. Rebirth refers the hope you will get to be reborn again- which would only be denied to a person should the Dark One triumph and remake the world....or maybe even the hope that the Dragon will be reborn to save the world, to bring salvation to earth.
That would mean the oath came from a time when the Prophecies where fresh and new, before False Dragons tore countries asunder in wars and before hatred and fear of the Dragon had time to embed itself.
But by then, as often happens we are told, the origins, the why, where forgotten, even the tradition remained, and so no one realizes that, to this day, the most sacred of oaths, including the Three Oaths of Aes Sedai, are sworn in the name of the Dragon and on the hope of his coming.

I don't ever see anyone talking about just how Danny's trauma affected him. When I read the Power Man and Iron Fist comics I was shocked by how glanced over his problems were sometimes.
The way Danny freaked out when he was hanging in the air by a rope? Getting flashbacks to when his family was betrayed and his father was killed?
When Discus had Iron Fist on the roof and it was related to when Harold Meachum was pushing his father, Wendell Rand, off the mountain. When they literally said, "...as the father died, so, too, will die the son."
The way that after K'un L'un disowned Danny, he wasn't eating properly. Admitting that he doesn't feel like much of anything because of this. K'un L'un was all he had left in life after his parents died, and they took him in, after all.
He mourned his sister that he never even really knew. Tried to end his life when he found out that K'un L'un was destroyed because he had left to go to Earth, only to be marked as impure when he came out of his mind state. The way he would often go silent, bottle his emotions, give the cold shoulder to everyone when he was upset.
It just drives me insane that I never see any talk about any of this, it's just glanced over as if it wasn't important.

Do think it was a missed opportunity by Robert Jordan to have Rand experience the lives of his Aiel ancestors and have one of those ancestors be Lanfear's assistant, but not actually show them working with Lanfear. I hope the show amends this, and we get to see scientist Lanfear in her prime. It would also be the best way to explain how the Dark One was originally freed because the show hasn't really delved into that much. There's so much about the Dark One that hasn't been explained yet.

A Comprehensive List of Spideyfist Interactions (pt.7)
Hello and welcome back to: reasons Spideyfist is canon. A series where I take you through each episode of The Ultimate Spiderman and show you why I believe that Peter Parker and Danny Rand are dating in canon, or at least that they are each other’s favorites- and also give you commentary on the show itself as I do
Warnings for: episode spoilers, season spoilers, action/injury description, unsolicited commentary, probable cussing, violence, caps lock
this part features episodes 14 through 20 of season 2
S2E14 The Incredible Spider-Hulk
- No notable interactions
- Fuck SHIELD and their bullshit Hulkbusters
~
S2E15 Ultimate Deadpool
- I'm not gonna lie to you, in the process of making this post, Tumblr glitched and I lost a lot of progress, this episode and the entire episode above. I'm not rewriting it, so the gist of the first 2 minutes is: I don't like that Deadpool just stole the show and the audience from Peter because Peter is "boring." I also don't like how Fury has set up the team against Peter.
- taking deep, calming breaths Shooting your ally/trainee in the back is akin to telling them that you cannot be trusted or relied on. Fuck Coulson.
- "Not impressed." Yeah, well, you shot your trainee in the back with zero warning or previous experience. Fuck you.
- Also, you can only hear Sam and Ava laughing in the laugh track, so honorable spideypowerfist mentions. Also counts to spideyfist
- You're showing your fucking favoritism you asshole. Do fucking better
- You are spraying it RIGHT IN HIS FACE
- "Somone explain. Now." Nova goes to explain "NOT Nova" Reason number whatever why I don't ship them
- If Peter replaced Deadpool in the show does that mean that Deadpool was the leader before Peter?
- Listen, I fucking love Deadpool in the movies and the comics, from what I've heard, are fucking superb. In this iteration? No. No, I hate him. I hate Deadpool and SHIELD in this show
- There is WAY too much emphasis on this alleged agent for me to believe a word Deadpool says.
- Peter is being singled out for training and it's disGUSTING
- There are no snitches among the Ultimates. Not today anyhow
- Deadpool is a liar and master of manipulation
- My poor dumb boy
- Okay, the more I rewatch, the more it becomes clear to me that Deadpool and Peter are supposed to be parallels or mirrors
- "I'll give you 1000 bucks for your brain!"
- "Sleep them with the fishes"
- "Nice of you to finally visit my school" Forshadowing~~~
- Okay I hate him but he's funny
- SEE? SEE???
- Deadpool is scary when he's actually trying
- "How about telling me the truth?"
- Deadpool's origin story is so wack
~
S2E16 Venom Bomb
~ Is this the-? looks at the episode number Oh, no. Not yet, I think.
- Saving the teammates like a boss!
- The nightmares Peter must have every time he faces the Goblin
- In the fight, Danny strikes after Peter, which counts
- Danny and Peter are standing RIGHT next to each other after a battle againnnn
- Peter WANTS to be able to take the win, but he knows his adversaries too damn well for that
- Hey, they're standing right next to each other again!
- Peter doing his best with Harry when he's Spiderman
- Ock just gets weirder and weirder looking the more time goes on
- They're gonna study the fucking symbiote but not try to find a cure for Osbourn?
- Infectious Venom disease!
- Goblin being absolutely AWFUL to Venom
- Where's the team in all this??
- One of the worst things you can do to Doc Ock's character is pretend he's evil for fun. This show doesn't do that, but the fact still stands
- And again I say, people forget that Peter is an accomplished chemist just the same as he's a wonderful hero
- Because you're Spiderman and Spiderman is a hero and you're a wonderful, selfless, brave person, Peter Parker
- Peter and Ock working together lmao
- Peter’s a goof, I love him
- At least Peter gets his damn props
~
S2E17 Guardians of the Galaxy
- Oh!! This episode indirectly has big evidence!!
- Peter using his abilities to shove garbage into the can
- PETER SEES A TALKING RACCOON AND ASSUMES HE LOST IT OMG
- Okay, so remember how in The Journey of Iron Fist, Peter follows Danny to his home country to find out what's going on and get Danny back? That's not exactly what's happening here. Peter was accidentally abducted in this one
- Peter was so fucking respectful and kind when regarding Danny’s home country and turf, but when it's Sam, he's snarky and complains the whole damn time
- Rocket is just so fucking casual about this
- See, even under attack, Peter is complaining about Sam getting him in trouble!
- Peter demands answers from Sam, he didn't do that with Danny, he was very calm and respectful when asking for answers with Danny
- Peter doesn't listen to a WORD Sam says ever, he's oblivious and not a good listener, reason number whatever why I ship what I ship
- It's literally only after he figures out Earth is a target that Peter decides to work with the Guardians
- Peter gives these "Ki-ya!" shouts that sound almost exactly like Danny’s
- This episode and The Jouney to K'un L'un are literally parallels
- Even if he doesn't LIKE Sam, Peter still considers Sam a friend, still loves Sam as a brother
- Peter didn't accept Danny going back to K'un L'un for a single second, but when Nova says he wants to stay with the Guardians, Peter accepts it without hesitation
- And then once Sam's back on Earth, Peter's right back to fucking with him like nothing ever happened
~
S2E18 The Parent Trap
- No notable interactions
-One of my favorite things that Luke does is he just fucking throws people for funzies. That's his whole thing, he THROWS people when he's fighting and needs to team up
- We're going through the team's backstories this season, which I think it's fun, and it's actually kinda funny
-Yes, Peter, 'parents' parents
-They're so fucking biased against Peter and it pisses me off
-I love the way these guys protect and look after each other, it's super cute and lovely
-See this is what happens when you start harping on your teenage heroes. They start ignoring you and don't listen when you try to offer important information
-Luke wanting a perfect reunion is so fucking relatable
-Spiderman only calls his friends by name on missions when it's important or in an emergency, the team members who know his identity don't call Peter by name unless off mission
~
S2E19 Stan By Me
-No notable interactions
~
S2E20 Game Over
-Danny talks about how fun the LMDs are and Peter immediately starts going into detail.
-I love that the team gets to go all out here
-Danny wants to retreat, Peter says "looks like we're gonna have to 'assess' with our fists" which I count because Peter's not the kind of guy to retreat even if it's deadly and he talks like he was going to agree
-Annd we're in a slow zoom (in the ready room lol) and Peter and Danny are sitting right next to each other

I love the chapter where Moiraine returns in aMOL. The fricking KINGS AND QUEENS bow to her. They don't even know her, they heard about her from Rand.
So, I imagine when he feeling down he was just endlessly telling them how cool she was:
"Yeah, so it was Moiraine. She was so cool. Like, you have no idea how cool she was. Also she looked like this, this and this, just in case she ever returns back from the dead and you will need to recognise her"

Rand is sooo mad that Moiraine is there it is actually so funny. Min goes “Moiraine—” and immediately he’s like UGH and goes on a rant. When he finishes his paragraph Moiraine appears with a dramatic flair like she’s been waiting for the most opportune time to insert herself from out of nowhere into their conversation. She gives him fanart of himself. He tells her to burn it. She bought it with her own money days ago and has been holding on to it. He says that having the dragon banner on full display is inviting people to kill him. She has shored up the stick it’s held on. She says people are going to be killing him anyway. He accuses her of sending a babysitter to manipulate him. She tells him that though he may be surprised to hear it not everything in her life revolves around him. She is a revered and respected figure to everyone else. He is seething every time she shows up. Min is sitting awkwardly next to them during their entire conversation.
#Rand: *ranting abt moiraine to min who just mentioned she was here*#Moiraine (poofing into existence): look at this fanart of you that’s everywhere.#Rand: i hate it throw it away burn it.#Moiraine: I bought this and we’re keeping it.#Rand: should we really have that up?? Apologies for not maintagging these other posts but for this AU post to make sense you need to read this post and ESPECIALLY this one so go do that.. be aware of the warnings though
So hey hi hello I'm making my own Hanahaki AU since I was the one who sparked up the conversation initially by reminding people that platonic hanahaki can exist :D
In the second post I went over motivations behind Soul, Whole, and an overview of how the headspace works for my HMS.
I mentioned Heart and Mind too, so, I want to go over more with them in this post because they're ALSO interesting
Warnings for everything under the cut: Self harm/destruction/sabotage, Unreliable narration in the form of poor mental ideologies, isolation, suicidal ideation, and gore/body horror. Hanahaki in this AU is a physical representation of issues found in poor mental health so anything that can spawn from that can here!
Unlike Soul, who started having typical symptoms early in the loop, before it developed into something more, Mind jumped almost immediately into the blossoming stage. It couldn't tear through metal, but vines, stems, and flowers certainly found it's way through the exposed parts of her joints. She knew early on that something, fundamentally, was wrong with her
It hurt, more than anything she can remember, to feel it wrap into and tear through her wires. She cursed herself for relishing in the pain, however. It makes her closer to being human, and thus real, if she is feeling pain, does it not?
The divide of being alive and nonliving is something she struggles with a lot, because she finds herself able to logically thing through both. She is a fracture to a whole, who is alive, and yet she is a robot, inorganic, an automaton freak
But that's besides the point. The flowers are confusing, inconvenient, and is halting any progress. How they're even able to grow within her mechanics is beyond her. The flowers make her weaker too, and is sometimes she cannot let her thirds be aware of, lest they take advantage of that said weakness(Because after all, why would any of them inform the others of their condition?)
She, despite everything, wants to understand them. She removes them, because she has to, and repairs herself. She's alone, so while difficult, it's safe. She experiments with the carefully removed flowers, and finds they can continue to grow apart from her so long as she continues to cultivate them. It's a distraction sure, but there has to be an answer somewhere in there. Besides, her garden is her own, hidden, safe, and the flowers are oh so beautiful thanks to her efforts
On the flip side, it took Heart longer to figure it out(Mind found out first, and Heart last. It left Soul, the root cause, in the middle, as usual)
He formed in the new loop, and got progressively sick. It caused agitation, as he kept getting worse, but he pushed through. Eventually, he threw up petals, and was rightfully horrified.
By this point, Mind and Soul had effectively isolated him(themselves, truly, but the real reason didn't matter) so the thoughts were free to creep in, he wasn't needed by them, nor wanted. It doesn't take long, due to the circumstances, for him to enter the blossoming stage.
The removal of the flowers is a violent act, as it always is with him, because like hell is he going to let his thirds see it. They're already treated like a burden to their thirds, why would he let them know it's worse? It's agony, but he does it anyways, all the while hiding himself further
He notices, despite the torn and ripped petals, that the flowers never wilt if he stays by them. They simply do not die in his presence, in his care. From what he can tell, they're vibrant and beautiful too.
He's allured by the flowers. He's not sure of his worth, or his life, but it becons him to take care of it, so he does. Because after all, he needs purpose, and if his thirds clearly do not need him anymore, then he can yield. He devotes himself to his garden, staying alive for the flowers to remain vibrant and beautiful.
The thirds still have to see each other because, after all, if one suddenly dissappears for too long it can cause suspicion to rise, but all of them remain unaware of each other's plights.
(That is, until very specific events happen, which I may go deeper into with another post. This one is dedicated to rounding out motive)

if u had to create a voicelina bronya would have about sampo, what would it be? i’d love to hear ur thoughts
I'd probably have her be unsure what to think of him. Like yeah he helped her but there's also a whole ass cabinet just for his scams. So it would probably go something like this:
"He's... an interesting individual, for lack of a better word. He has proven himself helpful, if Wildfire's records are to be believed, but calling him an ally would be too far of a stretch too. From what Seele told me it's better to not engage with him unless it's absolutely necessary."
#he is considered a criminal and for good reason but if not for him I would've never learned the truth about my mother or the Stellaron. -#-I'm not sure how to approach the issue truth be told. However Seele believes I'm giving him too much credit#you could do a lot with their dynamic honestly#the response was the most in-character I could think#but honestly you can also have her mention his acts in the mention story#like#kinda sad hoyo hasn't used it at all if I'm being honest#seeing him in Topaz's introduction would've worked too#they could have this president-illegal consultant kind of dynamic#but alas#I can only dream#sampo koski#bronya rand#hsr sampo#hsr bronya#honkai star rail#hsr#sorrin rambles

So confirmed now that Thom will be back next season. Interested to see how he'll be reintroduced (will he just randomly show up in Falme?) and which storyline he will be in. While the main characters are all, more or less, following the same path as their book counterparts, the secondary characters are getting shuffled around a bit. Loial basically got Min's role in Falme while Min took Thom's place as Mat's travelling companion. You could feasibly fit Thom into any of the book four storylines, he isn't really all that essential to Elayne and Nynaeve's. To be perfectly blunt, Thom isn't really essential to any storyline, he's pretty much just guy who tags along offering advice.
#wheel of time#wot on prime#wot spoilers#wot book spoilers#thom merrilin#since there's been no mention so far of moiraine's brother#and galad having the last name trakand in the casting#i wonder if the show plans to go all in on thom maybe being elayne's dad#give that plot a bit more substance for both characters#and hopefully avoid all those awkward moments in the book of elayne flirting with him#i can see him maybe doing what he did at the start of tsr and help rand out with playing politics#and even journey into the waste with everyone else#but that party already feels rather crowded#and it would just take screentime away from moiraine#you could also fit him into the tower coup#have him help siuan and the others escape and travel to the rebel camp#which then sends him off into the bowl plot with everyone else
