I'd appreciate it alot, but I think I'm more frustrated that he's treating me like a kid. To my face. I am in my twenties. It is infuriating.

None of the rangers I know have rested well recently and that includes myself.

I've been toying with a Beast Wars/Pokémon crossover, with the Maximals and Predacons.

Effectively, the Big Twist is that Dinobot's alt mode, a Grovyle, is PMD Grovyle-and that Grovyle's spirit is haunting him, trying to help him be the hero he knows he can be.

Dinobot II doesn't exist: the instant that body is created, Grovyle possesses the empty shell and books it, leading to Dinobot III being a thing.

While I personally see Dinobot as more of a Ramparados I totally vibe with your idea of him being a Grovyle.

I like the idea of Grovyle haunting Dinobot, simply because I imagine him commenting on everything Dinobot does in the most unimpressed manner possible.

"Oh goodie, they want to fight. AGAIN."

"Do you really talk like that? I mean, come on. The snarls and the grunts makes it sound as if you've got something stuck in your nose."

"You know you're a Grass type, right? Just felt like reminding you, just in case you forgot."

"Oh look, a Tyrantrum, I thought they had gone exti- aaaaand it's just Megatron again, Arceus damn it."

"How many times do I have to tell you? Leaf Blade is a Grass Type move! It's not effective against Bug types!"

Anndd here's my 2023 art summary! Rip to me if I draw anything better than my last piece before the year ends but ah well. whatever.

This year I drew a LOT of very varied stuff and experimented a lot! This isn't the half of it- I did a lot of comms over on a different site I haven't really posted anywhere. I think it's been a good one for me, though!

I also drew at least five separate drawings of characters cradling their pets à la Febuary, November, and December. I'd have drawn more if it weren't for 'how do you draw an owlbear'.

And now for some credits. Template Oc drawn in July August was a comm for Ramparados, and the ex design is by @/sweetest-honeybee Oc drawn in December belongs to my good friend Cream Soda!

Oh this is fun!

Machop (the only pokemon card I ever owned was a machop, and I cherished it like crazy)

Cranidos/ramparados (cranidos is always my partner pokemon in Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. I was so sad that you couldn't choose your own partner in Guardian Signs, I just kept a captured ramparados with me at all times in an attempt to do so anyway)

Gardevoir (I used to have a little ralts figurine. I always stroked the shell on its head lovingly)

Tropius and Magenium (I used to think chikorita's final evolution was tropius. When it evolved into magenium instead, I was devastated. After that I made it my goal to get a tropius anyway, despite it not appearing in that game, and decided that they would be siblings (whether or not I ever actually succeeded, I can't remember haha))

Doduo (I loved riding doduo's in Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia so much, that I imagined my character's nickname would be the Riding Ranger, just like one of the npcs was called the Flying Ranger)

Make a pokemon team for yourself, but it has to be composed of pokemon you could tell a personal story about.

Ex: Togetic (my brother hated mine because it had max Return),

Electabuzz (my brother stole it),

Gligar (my first shiny),

Gengar (i traded a zubat card for a holographic gengar card),

Lucario (i hunted for ages to get a riolu, then later in the game they just hand one to you),

Arbok (i left it in the daycare so long accidentally i went broke getting it out)

Why do I get the feeling that if I was the canon Alola champion, nobody would take me seriously because my team wouldn’t be like... cool. It would just be stupid.

The camera is being held a bit shakily by Bo, as he films Ricky the Ramparados from about a five meters distance. He's creeping up on a group of Doduo, all chittering and cheeping.

"Ricky, gather!"

Ricky charges out to the flock, startling the lanky birds into a group as they begin to run. Ricky skillfully weaves outside of them, herding the group together. Bo seems a little more confident as he speaks, watching Ricky do as told.

"Ricky, drive!"

The Ramparados begins to drive the flock forward, but never makes contact with a single Doduo. His focus is steely, eyes locked on the group in front of him, determined to finish his task.

A Doduo gets startled and darts aside into the grass- a few others follow. Ricky snorts in frustration at the stragglers. Bo calls out to him, trying to be encouraging to his beloved partner.

"It's alright, Ricky! Gather them back! You've got it!"

Ricky gets to the side of the runaway Doduo, huffing as he runs them back to the side of the flock. His hulking form pivots clumsily, turning and driving the Doduo into a huge truck- Bo turns the camera to show him nudging the last few into the vehicle.

"Hahah! Yes!! You did great, Ricky! Really great!"

He turns the camera to himself. He's visibly kerfuffled, implying he has perhaps struggled with the Doduo prior to Ricky's assistance.

Ricky gently headbutts him in the shoulder. Bo smiles and headbutts him right back, grinning ear to ear.

"Alright, now how do i-"

If the Maximals had Pokemon, which one do,you,think would suit them?

Optimus Primal has a Rillaboom (maybe it can Gigantamax?)

Rhinox has a Rhydon (perhaps one day it will evolve into Rhyperior)

Rattrap has a Raticate (it stayed as a Rattata for the longest time because it was too lazy to evolve)

Cheetor har a Luxray (not a cheetah but they have the same vibe)

Dinobot has a Ramparados (was gonna go with Archeops but Ramparados seemed more warrior-like)

Tigatron has an Incineroar (Dual type fire, three stage evolution Pokémon to match with Airazor’s Pokémon)

Airazor has a Talonflame (again, to match Tigartron’s Pokémon)

Silverbolt has a Braviary (Braviary is based of an eagle and Silverbolt’s alt mode is an eagle so it felt pretty obvious)

Depth Charge has a Mantine (again, obvious choice since Depth Charge turns into a manta ray)
