(I'm mostly thinking abt my boys here but I decided to use like OC language cuz that's what most people relate to)

My favorite thing abt lethal company OC's that are or contain an entity/monster that's now working with a crew/on the crew's side is the idea of someone watching them in the terminal

Like, like if you have a masked then on the terminal they'll show up like a dead player body, blue with the sight triangle thing, but a duller blue than the living employee's blue on the terminal, and like imagine trying to hook that baby up to the terminal cuz usually the terminal only follows the players that signed in on it, I got off track

Or like, friendly Bracken? How the hell you hook that guy up. Or like if the terminal person isn't used to their new monster buddy yet and they switch to someone being followed by a red dot and momentarily they panic and try to walkie in "TURN AROUND!!!" And then they check the helmet camera and it's just that person turning around and looking at the friendly Bracken, who then waves awkwardly or rustles uncomfortably a little, and then back through the walkie "oh that's just our Bracken <3"

Or like, if you do get a monster hooked up to the terminal and end up able to track it, I expect most scrap teams would let the monster go off on its own cuz if it's something like a Bracken or Coil or something like that they expect it to be tough enough to scrap collect on its own safely, but like imagine switching to it on the terminal and seeing not just it's red dot, but another one nearby. Like. You know??? Cuz what if, hear me out, the friendly red dot is sitting still, what if they're staring at a coil head? What if they're trying to not be spotted by a nutcracker (cuz those things kill anything <3 I think LOL)? Or, dare I be angsty, what if they're hurt? Alternatively what if like a loot bug found them and went "woah what a funny thing that's gonna be the centerpiece of my hoard" or what if a spore lizard found them and using cat theory was like "this thing is ignoring me... I trust it. My friend now, I'm staying with it" Or like your team's Masked running other Masked and they have a little funny guy party

Or, another fun idea, what if you switch to your monster buddy on the terminal and see a blue dot with them, so you assume all is well and you switch to the next teammate, and the next after a while, and back to the last one, and you get confused cuz monster Buddy isn't there, so you switch back to them and now there's another/more blue dots, and it sets in there's another team. Imagine radioing to your team "guys there's another team, and they're staring at our coil, you gotta go save him" or what if your Buddy is one of the simpler monsters like a Snare Flea, Loot Bug, or Spore Lizard and you guys have to genuinely go fight those people off so they don't hurt your baby???

Two bonus ideas just posited by Rend: what if the monster teammate isn't moving or doing anything about the other team because they ALSO have a monster teammate with them? What if, in their panic, your terminal person doesn't notice one of the moving blue dots is a little duller and the other team is essentially talking to your boy like "omg friendly Bracken!!! We have a friendly Masked, wanna join our team?" and your Bracken's just sitting there trying to figure out how to express it's taken, OR what if the other team DOESNT know they have a monster with them, I'm thinking like Maskeds who have their mask on under their helmet, Bracken's pretending to be employees, loot bugs in a trench coat /ref

Okay Rend's other idea, because he's full of himself /lov, was what if your monster teammate is a Nutcracker, and you're watching it essentially open up, look around, close, continue walking, and then the blue dots move. And slowly you notice they're getting closer, and you notice on the camera one of them has a shovel, and you have to walkie to your buddies they need to go save your semi indestructible protector who split off to hunt down a spider that caused some trouble

Ough the terminal just offers so many fun ideas for monster and crew collaborative teams my mind is buzzing /pos

KinnPorsche two year anniversary prompt 3: Favourite Episode

Also I guess prompt 4 which is actually today: Favourite location/set

Ughhgg I love episode 6. It's so contrasting to the show and it fits so well right in the middle as a break and a turning point. It is the sole reason I like kinnporsche as a ship, just the way that it's the only time kinn felt fully at peace and like he could be himself!!??? The way that he kept Porsche in this situation not telling him a way out but when it was the end he gave Porsche an out of the mafia because Kinn thinks living in the woods is better and safer than his life in the mafia!!!???! The way that Porsche saw sides of Kinn here that he only saw here which lead to him understanding and loving Kinn the way that he does??!!?? The way they are so cute?!?? The gorgeousness of everything?!?? The parallels of Porsche withholding information from kinn to Kinn revealing he was withholding information from Porsche the entire time. (Huh is that where their continuous trust issues started?) The way that this was Porsches last chance to leave, his last moment away from the mafia, his last hope whether he knew it or not; and he almost took it, he was so so close! but ultimately he chose Kinn's life over everything. He chose Kinn's life over his safety, his brother, his freedom.

When I first watched this episode I was like okay cool but did that need to be a whole episode, but when I finished it and saw Porsche as the minor family head all I could think about was this episode.

The way Manuel refers to Barry through his whole run makes them seem so in love with each other (they are college sweethearts). My headcanon of these two has become of them meeting and becoming really great friends (soon to fall in love). Barry was the one to fall in love first and then Manny fell harder but Barry was so scared of losing Manny both in general and as a friend (this also goes for his sorta 'fake death' but then Manny reveals that he was alive...MANUEL LAGO ILY) ANYWAYS. The two become really good friends and it takes one to drop slow hints but at the same time Barry is trying to figure himself out. You see where I'm leading to??

'what to do when you're questioning your sexuality because of your closest friend and then all of a sudden he looks at you and the moonlight illuminates against his face and then (insert a kiss scene here)'

Going back to the flashback from Barry of the two meeting, it's so sweet. The fact that Barry isn't the party guy and stumbled across this dude and he's all like 'I got you lets go together :) '. YOU BOTH JUST MET, MANUEL?? Flirting with Barry but he doesn't notice but at the same time it makes Barry flustered and happy. Manuel is so generous and sweet to Barry :((

I've never seen anyone react like this but Manuel and Barry, you can obviously tell how comfortable they seemed to be with one another through the flashbacks. The average introvert with his extrovert counterpart

NOT TO MENTION (later on when Barry is in trouble with MOB RULE) MANUEL GOING BACK TO GO SAVE BARRY AND HIM SAYING ALL THIS?? HE LITERALLY PUSHES HIMSELF TO MAKE IT ALL UP FOR BARRY </33. Not to add on the moment when MOB RULE told Manny that they 'killed' Barry and the words that came out were....

SO I am like, 100% convinced Heritage Found and/or Solution Nine have to do with one of the Ascians, I think Altima. And for the record I don't think it's Allagan. To me it doesn't look quite right aesthetics/geometry/color-wise.

So you can imagine how excited I was when in an interview, YoshiP said to make sure we know the names of the Convocation. I am really hoping to know more abt the Sundered Ascians that we know nothing about, but I particularly think we're getting Altima and maybe Pashtarot.

(Before anyone goes "Didn't Gaius kill Altima and Deudalaphon", IIRC the devs did not confirm whether or not Gaius knew how to permanently kill them, and from what we know the answer to that is probably "No")

I've seen some theories that All That will have to do with another shard, but I personally just... don't think that's the case? Obviously there's no way Emet knew everything, but I think if there already had been a way to travel between shards he... probably would have known and/or would have reacted differently to G'raha. (Since he likes to be Like That, I think he definitely would have been like "Impressive that you people have managed to do this twice" and then never elaborate)

Seeing the cutscene w the lalas and the "Golden City" placed next to scenes w Krile has me really 👀, I'm wondering if there's more of a connection with her and Tural than we know, considering we know she was orphaned but we don't know the details, and Galuf did seem to have gotten a letter and possibly gone to Tural a decent amount of years ago, based on the letter and everything about it And that cup-like artifact... I feel like there's something about it I should know but that I'm forgetting...

Also the maiden- I straight up think she's a sundered Ascian who defected. Her voice line about how far could you have gotten without sacrifice just gives me Convocation Final Days vibes idk. Again, I am hoping for Altima, but I've seen some people say Pashtarot!

...Also, we know one of Wuk Lamat's siblings is "evil" and wants to become ruler so they can go conquer the currently weak Garlemald, and it seems like they're setting it up to be the two-headed Mamool Ja brother, but I think it's going to be a red herring and be someone else as a bigger threat for the throne (I am hoping not the catboy)

I can drag ya back now. Before Izzy could ask what the hell that meant, he woke up in a nightmare, a wooden box six feet under the dirt. Clawing his way out, trying not to choke on dirt hadn't been pleasant, but, after a few long moments of orientating himself, he came to the suspicion that he was alive. His side still ached, but the wound that killed him was nothing but a new scar to add to the collection now. He still felt exhausted, thirsty, hungry, and he was covered in dirt. He took a moment to pull his leg out of the ground - the fuckers used it as a gravestone - and re-attach it, making sure to hook his ringed cravat around his neck as well. From there, he paused, a touch overwhelmed, sitting next to his grave, looking around, no idea where he was or where to go next. The only option seems a shitty, half abandoned shack, so with a sigh, he pushed himself to his feet and hobbled on over to knock. "Oi, anyone home?"

Ed is holed up in the furthest room of the shack. He's standing over the desk at the center of it all, dark eyes focused on the intricate naval chart of Nassau spread across the surface.

Hand-marked coordinates amongst the knick-knacks meant to represent both offensive and defensive fleets in the bay. Edward's deep in thought as he moves them about, mind cataloging different formations.

The mouth of the harbor creates a chokepoint that as little as five ships could be maneuvered in such a way even a much larger fleet couldn't advance without taking on heavy fire. Perhaps theoretical ships, for now, but rallying the vagabonds on Nassau to capture what they'd need shouldn't be the difficult part.

He moves away from the desk, over to the wall where he's tacked up the blueprint of the fort defending Nassau's bay. It'll need fortified. It'll need gun-crews. Ed tucks the thought away, lets his attention drift to the charts next to it detailing the trade routes. Now about those ships they're needing...

Even with the door of the room he's in cracked, he doesn't hear anything outside the house.
