GWEN TOWERS
GWEN (Ground Wave Emergency Network) allows specific frequencies to be tailored to the geomagnetic-field strength in each area, allowing the magnetic field to be altered.
They are connected to HAARP, smart meters, cell phones, WIFI etc...
"GWEN (Ground Wave Emergency Network) transmitters, placed 200 miles apart across the USA, allow specific frequencies to be tailored to the geomagnetic-field strength in each area, allowing the magnetic field to be altered.
They operate in the VLF range, with transmissions between VLF 150 and 175 KHz. They also emit UHF waves of 225 – 400 MHz.
The VLF signals travel by waves that hug the ground rather than radiate into the atmosphere. A GWEN station transmits up to a 300-mile radius, the signal dropping off sharply over distance.
The entire GWEN system consists of, (depending on source of data), from 58 to an intended 300 transmitters, spread across the USA, each with a tower 299-500 ft high.
Three hundred (300) ft. of copper wire fans out in a spoke like fashion from the base of the underground system, interacting with the earth like a thin shelled conductor, radiating radio wave energy for very long distances through the ground.
The USA bathes in this magnetic field which rises to 500 ft, even going down to basements, so everyone is subject to mind control.
The whole artificial ground wave spreads out over USA like a web. It is easier to mind-control and hypnotize
people who are bathed in an artificial electromagnetic wave."

The Red Means I Love You
Alice Wu Gulliver x Necromancer!Reader
Your girlfriend told you she'd be gone to finish some buisness, and you feel her death happen. You refuse to let her go.
Word Count: 1k
Content: second person, no use of Y/N, ressurection, kissing, fluff, blood and gore, Alice is naked but that is not the focus here. Reader is refered to as "girlfriend" at one point, but otherwise this could be read as gender neutral
A/N: If no one will feed me, I will feed MYSELF. I may cross post this to ao3 in the morning, but I needed to get this out of my head while it was all still fresh. This is very heavily inspired by Marcille's ressurection of Falin from Dungeon Meshi, but fuck it, if Billy's allowed to ressurect Tommy by putting his soul into another kid's dead body, then theres gotta be at least one other person able to do necromancy, and why not do lesbianism. Alice is probably a little ooc but I did this in like an hour, cut me some slack.
Today, running the butcher’s was very slow, predictable for the sleepy little metropolitan area of Eastview and Westview. It was run of the mill and average, what everyone in the town basically forced it to be ever since the scarlet witch scared half the people within a three mile radius.
You were just finishing the last of closing procedures and headed into your apartment above the shop, making a quick dinner and settling in for a simple night watching tv when you could feel it. The moment Alice's life was snuffed out. No, more like drained out of her, in a drawn out action. She had told you she was just going to finish some family related business, that she'd be back before the night was over. She'd be back before you knew it. Kissed you on the cheek and everything like she did when she'd head off to work.
Before you had even really processed anything else, you were already setting up the ritual, drawing out a sigil with chalk, placing candles in the appropriate places, scouring your cabinets for all the assorted offerings needed.
You and Alice had met because you were outcast witches. She had distanced herself from the craft after the death of her mother. And you were known as the disgrace of all green witchcraft. You were an odd duo, but you were happy so long as you were together. She had asked you a few times how you had earned your title, and you always laughed it off.
She was going to finally learn why you were called that very quickly.
You were grateful for your day job as a butcher, as you used magic to carry large cuts of cow and lamb, bones and all from the commerical freezer to the living room. plopping them haphazardly onto the sigil. It wasn't her body, but it would do in a pinch. You would deal with any consequences later. You lit the candles and got onto your knees, placing your hands on the sigil as you began the incantation you had done at least a dozen times. Your voice almost seemed to echo through the room as forbidden magics are called upon.
In a basement a couple miles away, death reaches out for a soul, only to see her violently yanked away from her grasp, disappearing from sight.
You continue to shout as the meat and bone fuse together, almost melting as it reformed itself into a human shape, features slowly refining itself to resemble the soul now bound to it. The last touches are added as your girlfriend, albeit covered in blood and naked, now lies in the middle of the circle. You nearly collapse, but you stare anxiously, hoping, praying, that it worked.
Alice's eyes snap open as she bolts upright, gasping for air. You release a breath you didn't realize you were holding as the tears finally roll down your face and pull her into a tight hug.
“Alice! Alice, I thought I lost you, I..”
You continue to squeeze her, kissing various spots on her face, not caring about the copper taste of the blood. Alice seemed to be finally coming out of shellshock as her hands found their way to tangle in your hair. Her eyes met yours.
“Is… is this real? Am I really here?”
“Yes Alice, you’re really here, I promise. You're here. I'm here.”
Without much warning, you were pulled in for a deep kiss. If you didn't know any better, you'd have thought she hadn't seen you in months with how desperate it was. Your tongues danced with no clear rhythm as you tried to get enough of each other, only stopping when you both needed air. Alice let out a huffy laugh of disbelief.
“How did you… how did you even do this? I was dead. I saw death.”
You glance away, picking at some of the melted wax on one of the candles, suddenly conscious of what you had done, how much of an overreach it might have been.
“It's. A long story, trust me. I understand if you don't want to be around me anymore after this, I just-” Alice gently takes your hands in hers, rubbing circles with her thumbs.
“Hey, hey. It's okay. Look at me?” You meet her gaze once more, her warm eyes looking softly at you.
“It's okay. What happened was weird, yes. But I think quite literally breaking the laws of life and death is maybe the most romantic thing a girlfriend has done for me. Just don't make a habit of it, okay?” You can't help but laugh at that.
“Only if you don't make a habit of it. What even happened?” Alice paused at that.
“It’s also a long story. I’ll tell you after I get cleaned up. You should probably too, considering” she gestures to your now bloodsoaked clothes, and you nod.
“I’ll take care of the cleaning in here while you shower, and I'll meet you in the bedroom later after I get washed up. If you're still awake by then, we can exchange stories. Otherwise that can wait till morning. Alright?” She nods, placing one last kiss to your forehead before attempting to get up and then immediately falling over. You stand up, offering a hand to her.
“Need help?” She takes it, and you help pull her up, resulting in a much more successful attempt to stand than the last one.
“I thought I was supposed to be the one protecting you.” You can't help but giggle at the remark.
“Everyone needs help once and a while. The usual doting can wait for later.”
You walk with her to the bathroom to make sure she doesn't fall again before even making it to the tub, before heading back to dig through the supply closet. You pull out the cleaning supplies and head back to the living room area, and the now giant stain of blood and chalk on your floor. Necromancy is a bitch, but it's all worth it now that you have Alice back with you. Whatever happens next, the two of you can sort it out together.

When I was a kid, going to the zoo was a joyous occasion. You'd get to see a giraffe, maybe your dad would stay home from work, and at the end there'd be a root-beer-flavoured candy stick from the gift shop. Nowadays, I'm an adult, and adults most definitely do not go to the zoo on their own. So I did.
As soon as I arrived, and paid the eyewatering sum required for the parking and admission, I immediately had a rush of childhood euphoria upon seeing my favourite animal again. That animal is a John Deere Gator 6x6 all-terrain-vehicle and utility tractor. The groundskeepers were still using this reliable workhorse, and, thinking they were dealing with nothing more than rebellious toddlers, had left it parked in front of the penguin exhibit with a length of chain link fencing and copper wiring in the back.
Oh yes, copper wiring. They should be more careful about that. A real creepazoid thief would steal that stuff, get a couple bucks. I, however, pride myself on respecting the private property of others a little bit more than that. As I plunked the Gator into low range and began climbing the stairs to the wildebeest area, I gave myself a pat on the back for being such a good citizen and having so much restraint and impulse control.
I'd like to say that the resulting chase through the facility involved a bunch of daring high-speed turns, but the scrub radius on one of these six-wheel-drive abominations is just terrible. Every time I even went near the steering wheel, I was rewarded with copious understeer. Despite what the evening news says, it is to my credit as a race driver that I managed to only gently skim the butterfly exhibit, rather than crash through it. Security did catch up to me when I stopped to get a corn dog, but that's only because the lines were so long.
As I lay there on the ground, my arms handcuffed behind me, the cop's knee in my back, I had no regrets. Well, maybe one. You see, I had picked the wrong snack counter, not realizing just how far a giraffe's neck could bend. Being forced to watch that long-necked asshole swallow my corn dog – which I paid for – whole is the real injustice here.

Can't stop thinking about the implications of spending your most important childhood years abused and belittled and treated like shit.
Enver was at his most developmental stage and the idea that he was worth less than dirt was beaten into him constantly. There is no way that didn't affect him in the long run, force him to cover himself with fancy clothes and big words so he wouldn't have to face the fact that he is just a useless street urchin running after success like an ant striving to step on the moon. It's such a nonsensical thought for him to actually climb the ranks and yet he did it, but I don't think that feeling of worthlessness ever went away. It's why he always will want more and more, because he will never truly feel good enough. No matter how many people he steps on, how many innocents he kills, how many titles and honours and power he gathers, it will simply never be enough because he wasn't born to ever be good enough. He will always be little useless Enver Flymm, son of a cobbler, an annoyance to his parents and a burden to the world. That shit never really leaves you.
Not to mention the physical damage he'd have to put up with, as if the psychological torture wasn't enough? Imagine being reminded of your time spent breaking your barely-developed nose and harassed every which way every single time you did something as simple as taking a step or moving the wrong way. The broken bones which never quite healed right, the burnt and destroyed skin, the engravings of a slave cut so deep into you that you will never be rid of them. How does he feel whenever he trips and his knee cries out in pain, reminding him of the time it was snapped in half like a twig and not allowed to heal? How does he feel whenever he reaches for something and his radius and ulna shoot a shiver through his nervous system, a reminder of all the times he used his forearms to hide his face from repeated kicks and punches? Can he still taste the blood in his mouth, smell the copper and burnt skin that lingered on him? Does he wonder, standing in the mirror, how his face would have turned out had it not received so much abuse? How his nose should normally look? How his eyes shouldn't be as dark as they are? Does he envy the man he was not allowed to grow into?
just some thoughts

The Tell
Based off of this scene (SPOILERS FOR XMEN '97) I am back on my nightcrawler bs!!!!
Have some angst and hurt/comfort to bide yall. I'M WORKING ON PART 3- MIDTERMS HAVE ME BY THE SOUL!! Yall know the drill: 2nd person bc idgaf GN pronouns for yall (I think?) No beta we die like (spoilers)
He was gone. You were across the world and you knew he was gone. In a step, in a breath, in a waining thought- all silenced by the wind in your hair whispering "Gambit's Dead"
You rushed home as soon as possible, making it just a day before the funeral. Everyone was barely holding it together but seeing you after all these years, a ghost, sent waves. Logan, Rouge, and Hank were all indifferent to your presence, understanding but also contempt of the fact that now- now you show up, after years away. This is what got you back.
Scott was worse- not even bothering to speak to you, just walking away altogether. Jubilee didn't know you that well, but from what she knew and how she is, she took you in with a grain of salt. Smart girl- that one.
Kurt, now that was a reaction. Moments after you were let in, Kurt was getting tea for everyone and as soon as he saw you- everything fell apart. Not many people have had the displeasure of seeing the Nightcrawler angry. After all, the few who do, don't live to tell the tale. But now you've seen it thrice. But unlike the times before- you stayed and took it all.
All the vile curses, both English and German, all the arm motions and tears, all the looks of emotions so mixed it could count as a cocktail. When he was done, and stark silence filled the over-occupied room, he muttered. "Welcome home Windwalker." Before dacking your shoulder on his way out.
You knew you should have left at that moment but you stay ed for the funeral. As soon as it was over and Kurtis touched your heart once again, you started to walk away again.
You made it ten minutes before he came racing after you. "Wait." He called from behind you.
A sigh and half of a turn was the most you got before the brunt of a sword collided with your eye- sending you stumbling into a nearby tree. "You are not leaving until I'm through with you, Zepher." You wince. Not at the pain. You didn't bother to stand as Kurt readied his blades. You just closed your eyes and waited. A moment passes before Kurt shouts "Steh auf, verdammt! Get up and fight me!" The rage eminent in his voice. You open your eyes to see him looming from listed over a yard away. His stark eyes contrast the gloom of the landscape. Where this moment was pure mourning, he was nothing but firey disgust. Contemplation washed over you, but you got up. You didn't bother to ready yourself as if you could- Kurt was already on you, his swords slashing into you. Kicks sent you here and there while the memories of late-night training sessions made your tears mix with the downpour. Blood followed soon after.
Whether it be minutes or hours later, he was finished with you. On the brink of passing out either out of blood loss or exhaustion. He stepped back to look at you. "Warum liegt mir so viel an Ihnen?" He mumbles. You only swallow back the copper taste in your mouth. His eyes narrow, finally seeing you as the human trash you are. You close your eyes and hope that the devil is kinder than this fallen angel.
You wake to smoke. immediately sitting up and coughing out the vile intruder. You use your mutation of wind manipulation to give yourself a radius to breathe. Kurt appears next to you before grabbing your chest and suddenly teleporting you outside. He doesn't linger to explain whats going on- just leaving you to watch as these human-robot things destroy the manor. You take out a few that try to break in and even save Logan from one too. When the chaos is settled, everyone makes a gameplan- something something Rouge, something something Magneto- you were out for most of it. It wasn't until Kurt gripped your shoulder that you found yourself back in reality. Kurt stares at you for a moment before grabbing your waist and teleporting to the outside of the manor's green.
"I-If you want a round two... go ahead." You offer even though the bandages wrapped around your torso and arms are turning pink. "I know you wanted to for harder." You close your eyes. "Can I say something though?"A beat passes. you feel his tail swing against your ankle. "Make it quick." You nod. "I'm going to say I've changed, or that I feel sorry, or that I've repented- because... I don't think you care about that." You let out a breath. Your heartbeat is still racing. "But what I am going to say is, that when I left- I didn't do it to hurt you." Something builds in the back of your closing throat. "I- I had to leave to protect you. And I know it was stupid to not say anything- especially given our last conversation. But I had to go. Y-you mother-"
"Mystique."
You nod, and you feel your cheeks get wet. "She found my family. My blood one. And you know that I've been keeping tabs on them since I left- she said that she'd kill them and then go after you guys-" She tries to suppress the frown that was deepening. "I know that I should have told you but I was scared. You told me what your mother is capable of. And I couldn't just stand there so-" A weight envelopes you. A warm, protective, weight, that grounds you to the moment. You open your eyes to see the thing you've been dreaming of for the past decade finally become reality. Kurt's buried his head into your shoulder and holding onto you for dear life. For a moment you can only watch. But as reality slowly but surely seeped in, the cracks in the years-old walls finally led to you crumbling in the arms of your oldest friend. You return his hug, clutching him to make sure that this wasn't one of the most twisted dreams you've ever had.
His tail wraps around your calve. "I missed the west wind," He mumbled into your embrace. You hold him tighter. "And I yearned for the fallen angel."

This is probably like entirely incongruent with the game’s actual lore but I imagine spells gods make being absolute dogwater.
Like they don’t have to be efficient or write good spell-code since they have a fuckton of power to make up for it so all of their spells fucking blow. Like that combined with how long they live and how quickly humans/mortals progress means that Nariander is like really proud of the Ressurection ritual and gloating one of the followers is sitting there like “how do i tell this man he’s doing the magical equivalent of opening a door by hitting with a train”
Or just like “what do you mean you use rib bones the same as the ulna and radius”
“Why are you using gold as your conductor just use copper its a fucking rain spell”
Like gods have so much shit to throw at a spell/ritual they work by sheer force meanwhile mortals who have to actually collect spell materials and gather power have to optimize and get creative to use their limited resources, so like the Lamb goes to one of their followers after the crown is being difficult and they’re just like “who wrote this spell?”
They both head over to Nariander and they’re like “I have questions about the resurrection ritual” and he’s all smug cause he thinks they’re about to be impressed before they’re like
“hey why the fuck aren’t you using taglocks? Why the shit are the candles not engraved?”
Nari’s like “this the definitive pinacle of necromancy you insolent mortal”
And they’re like “maybe like 200 years ago, this isn’t even using the right moon phase”
#azure’s bullshit#cult of the lamb#cotl#cotl lamb#cotl narinder#cotl follower#cotl follower oc#the follower here does have a name i just haven’t finalized it#but yeah like my mortals are basically Freiren humans btw#i like giving the followers agency in my writing#like think about how short of a timeframe computers went from tiny to being able to have simulations and tell me mortals aren’t busted

Modern AU
Luffy wakes up one night in hysterics, running to Dragon’s room and scrambling into his bed with him. Dragon, of course, is up and alert within seconds of hearing Luffy crying, and he isn’t the only one. Ace and Sabo come running in as well to check on their little brother, makeshift weapons (a baseball bat and a length of copper pipe respectively) in hand.
“Papa, there’s a lady screaming outside!” His youngest sobs, giving everyone in the house a dreadful pause.
Cut to the Dragon going out to the porch with a powerful flashlight and loaded firearm in hand (rural country folks know), telling the boys to stay inside. He isn’t going searching like an idiot, he’s not about to leave his kids unprotected. On the porch he stays, letting the flashlight do its job.
And he can hear it. It’s shrill, it’s spine-chilling, it’s loud, and it’s… not human.
The radius of the flashlight catches a pair of eyes gleaming in the dark just out of its range, and a turn of the wrist bathes a tawny shape prowling close to the tree-line in light. The screaming stops abruptly, along with the shape.
“It’s just a cougar, boys.” A cougar looking for company just a little too close to the chicken coop for his liking.
Technically, by Oklahoman wildlife conservation laws, he can legally kill a cougar if it’s posing a threat to him, his family, and/or his livestock, but considering all she was doing was caterwauling for a mate, those weren’t grounds for it in his books.
So scaring her off it was.
But first…
“Come out on the porch and see her.” She was far off from the house, and more likely to turn tail and run away if anything were to happen. It was safe enough.
The boys file out of the house and have a look, Luffy sticking close to Dragon for a bit before his brothers coax him to brave the railing where they’re standing. As they watched, Dragon took the live rounds out and swapped them for a couple of blanks.
Once they all had their fill, he had the three stand back and cover their ears. One shot, loud but little else. The cougar- which had been still as stone since getting the light shined on her- bolted back into the forest with her tail fluffed up in alarm.
She wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon.
Now all that needed doing was getting the boys back to bed, and checking with the animals.
By the time Dragon was settling back to sleep, he heard his door creak open and shut behind someone, little footfalls on the floorboards. He cracks an eyelid and sees the biggest pair of eyes- the same shade as his own- staring back at him, all nervous and watery.
“Papa, can I sleep with you?”

Last Life with divine domains
Part 1: Rules and Domains.
Rules:
Last Life mechanics but everyone has an origin that assigns them a divine domain with powers and abilities.
Lizzie, Mumbo and Pearl will have completely randomized domains... for the other players they will have a domain that is connected in some way to the one they had in this version of Third Life.
For example In Third Life Scott's domain was Ice, possible domains for him could be: winter (as the season of ice), snow biomes, water (as ice is just a state of water) or crystals (as ice is a crystal)... I put these in a wheel and randomly choose one.
Possible Domains
In here are the possible domains they could have gotten. In [] is their 3rd Life domain.
BdoubleO - [Light] - Day, Sun, Colour, Lamps & torches.
BigB - [Weaving and Armor] - Protection, Warmth, Farm animals, Fate (as weaving is associated with it).
Cleo - [Stagnation] - Change (as opposite), Swamps (as biome of stagnation), Stone (as considered immutable).
Etho - [Darkness] - Night, Shadows, Depths, The Void, Mist, Secrets, Mobs.
Impulse - [Iron & Gold] - Ores & Caves, Copper & Amethyst, Redstone, Diamonds, Tools.

Martyn - [Justice & Punishment] - Goverment, Law & Rules, Execution, Revenge, Power.
Ren - [Pain & Sorrow] - Regret, Desolation & Loneliness, Grief, Fear.

Scott - [Ice]. - Winter, Water, Crystals.
Skizz - [Wither & Decay] - Destruction, Death, Poison, Regeneration & Rebirth.
Tango - [Coal & Flame.] - Fire & Forge, The Nether, The Hearth & Campfires, Energy.
Domains
And this is the list with the chosen domains including the new players.

Martyn - Law & Rules.
Mumbo - War. (Poor Mumbo)

Ren - Fear.
Scar - Connections.
Scott - Winter.
Skizz - Poison.
Tango - The Hearth & Campfires.
Powers
BdoubleO - Permanent +1 level of Smite and Bane of Arthropods. I Resistance II during the day. Nearby spiders are pacified. Zombies and Skeletons don't spawn within 70 blocks from him. Ability 1 reverts a targeted zombie villager or witch into a normal villager. Ability 2 blesses another player with Resistance II during the day. Shifting deactivates the 70 block radius no mobs zone.
BigB - Looting II against passive mobs. Breeding mobs generate 2 children. Trown eggs deal punch damage. Van ride horses and pigs without befriending them and without saddles. Ability 1 summons 5 passive random mobs. Ability 2 turns passive mobs against specific targets. When shifting baby animals instantly become adults.
Cleo - Passive Regeneration I. Passive Speed I. x10 random tick speed in a 30 block radius from them. Negative potions effects last 50% less. Ability 1 rapidly drains targets hunger and armor durability. Every 10 minutes ability 2 turns a targeted block to a different random block. Shifting causes their name to change colour.
Etho - Passive Speed II. Name is invisible even when not shifted. Resistance to fire and lava damage. Semi-transparent. Ability 1 gives a target the blindness effect. Ability 2 sets everyone's render distance to 0. When shifting players closer then 10 blocks have their render view set to 0.
Impulse - Resistance I and Regen I when wearing diamonds. Haste II when using diamond tools. x2 diamonds when mining ore. Villagers trade with diamonds instead of emeralds. Ability 1 creates diamond spikes in a 3 block radius. Ability 2 turns the player into diamond (Protection IV) for 3 seconds. Shifting near a player will steal part of the diamonds they might have in their inventory.
Grian - Health is shown on top of entities. Passive Night vision. Sees exclamation marks on top of trapped chests and tnt minecarts. At the start of each session he knows how many boogeyman are active, not who, just how many. Ability 1 turns wood, grass and leaves invisible for a few seconds. Ability 2 gives Invisibility for a few seconds. Shifting gives access to a mini map.
Jimmy - Regen II when touching leaves, flowers, ferns, or tall grass. Untamed Wolves and Foxes closer then 5 blocks are tamed automatically. Tall grass and ferns have a small chance of dropping loot when harvested. When hit spawns 2 bees to defend him. Ability 1 bonemeals a large area without needing bonemeal. Ability 2 turns wolves tamed by other players into Jimmy's pets. Invisible when hiding (shifting) on trees or in tall grass.
Joel - Speed I and Strenght I while in extreme hills and mountain biomes. Passive Feather falling II. Additional Resistance at very high altitudes. Bigger reach. Ability 1 creates a rock wall to stop entities. Ability 2 creates a rock platform that raises the user. Shifting gives additional extra reach.
Lizzie - Permanent Jump Boost III and Feather Falling I. 5% chance of summoning lightning when hitting enemies. Resistance I and Regen I during rain and storms. Immunity to fire, blast and lightning damage. Ability 1 summons rain or storm weather. Ability 2 pushes entities far away. When shifting becomes a lightning rod.
Martyn - Protection II against players with more or equal number of lives. Isn't forced to leave his alliance once red. Access to a list of every life trade. Strenght I against Boogeymen. Ability 1: At the beginning session Martyn is given 5 rules to choose from, the rule chosen is applied for the whole session. Ability 2 summons an iron golem against mobs. When shifting has a chance of blocking hits.
Mumbo - Passive +1 level of Efficiency and +2 levels of Sharpness when using weapons. Passive +1 levels of protection on armor. Defending with a shield has a 20% counter attack chance. When shooting arrows a marker will point where the arrow will hit. Ability 1 gives Strenght II and Speed II but decreases Health (like a weird barbarian rage). Ability 2 is just a dash, makes up for it by having very short cool down. Shifting reduces damage taken.
Pearl - Permanent Speed I and Jump Boost I. Regen II while nearby flowers or on moss. No hunger loss while under the sun (photosyntesis). Can eat flowers and get a random positive effect for a few seconds. Ability 1 creates roots under targets causing them to fall. Ability 2 sprays pollen at enemy giving them random negative effects. Shifting bonemeals nearby blocks.
Ren - Strenght II during the night and in light levels of 0. Endermen and creepers are scared away. Speed I when running after an entity. Access to a mob noises soundboard. Ability 1 freezes entites in fear for a few seconds. Ability 2 gives Blindness and Nausea to a target. Gives Nausea to nearby entities when shifting.
Scar - Speed I on path blocks. Faster when riding Horses and boats. Protection II when near other players. +4 max health (2 hearts). Ability 1: At the beginning of every Scar chooses two players, they will share health for the whole session (if he links himself with another player they will also have 2 extra hearts). Ability 2: Every session Scar can gift a life without losing one of his own (any other life gifted will cause him to lose one though). Shifting gives Regeneration I to himself AND nearby entities.
Scott - Resistance to fire and blast damage. Passive Frost Walker and much in the same way Lava becomes obsidian. Regen II when standing on snow or ice. Snowballs thrown do as much damage as a punch. Ability 1 trows a barrage of snowballs like a machine gun. Ability 2: Once a session can change a 64x64 area into a snow plains biome... Shifting toggles off The Frost Walker effect.
Skizz - Immunity to Poison, Hunger and Wither damage. Rotten flesh gives 3 extra hunger. 20% of poisoning entities. 20% of giving Nausea to entities. Ability 1 trows a lingering poison potion. Ability 2 summons a cave spider. Shifting gives Nausea to nearby entities.
Tango - Resistance to fire and blast damage. Strenght I and Regen II when near campfires. Permanent Night vision. Can eat coal and wood to gain hunger. Ability 1 heals either himself or another entity. Ability 2 trows a burning ember at a target. Shifting causes smoke to appear but causes any attacker to a catch on fire.
Consequences for permadeath

Every second matters: Donald Ressler x FBI!fem!reader
Summary: Desperate times call for desperate measures. Your teammate’s and "crush-you-are-not-willing-to-admit"s disappearance is definitely one of those times, so you reluctantly have to ask the FBI’s most wanted criminal for help. Surprisingly, Raymond Reddington is also an excellent matchmaker
Warnings: Mentions of kidnapping and small injuries
Requested: yes
Words: 1300
Author rambles: Sorry because this took me ages (how many times have already repeated that?) Thanks to the amazing @zizzlekwum for her request and patience. Had to change the name while editing because this sounded better. Also this was edited late at night with mint tea as fuel and queued on the bus on my way to campus this morning, so blame any mistakes on those...

In the time you have been in the unit you have learnt two basic facts.
Fact number 1: There is absolutely no phone number, location or person Aram Mojtabai cannot find.
Fact number 2: You and the team never, I repeat, never go against Reddington’s plan. And that's for your own sake.
Yet, in the last hours everything you knew had come down in pieces. Ruins of the rules and statements you once held to, now they are left broken much as yourself. You look at Aram, clinging at the last straw of hope that remained.
“These guys are completely analogical! No digital footprint. And the last camera which got a glimpse of them only helps to reduce the search to a ten miles radius which is all covered by suburban houses. It just doesn’t make sense, the house’s cameras should have recorded them.”
His hands tangle in his short locks trying to find out a clue, something he is looking pass. Hostages just don’t go missing. Agents just don’t vanish in the air. Ressler can’t have just disappeared.
“What about Reddington?” You finally gather the courage to ask it, voice determined, you not so much inside.
“Still unwilling to talk with us.” Dembe, the gentle giant you have got used to call coworker and even friend in the last months, sights while crossing his arms. You have already seen the look in his eyes, the weight of the decisions you should both had taken as it that could ever change the current situation.
Things were easier when Liz was around, the idea hangs out in the air as if you could nearly capture it. Nobody says it, but all of you know is true. Liz was the only who could talk some sense into him, if someone could ever talk sense into Raymond Reddington. A few years ago, you could trust in Dembe to try it at least too. But since he has become Agent Zuma, the relationship has run cold. A worry for another day, you have more important matters in your hands now.
“Do we know where is him?”
Another question coming from your lips without even realizing, a silent nod the only answer you needed. Before turning to face your unit chief, Harold Copper.
“L/n, you have my permission to go.”
A fancy cocktail bar at six pm on a Monday afternoon. Lately Raymond wasn’t being too careful while choosing his meeting point, but with all you had in mind that was the last of your worries This shouldn’t have happened, nothing of this shouldn’t have happened. If things had been different, now you blamed yourself. Should have told him to stay in the car as Reddington had said, it was a recognition mission after all. But no, Donald Ressler always had to play the hero, and you didn’t have the guts to stop him.
“Y/n, my dear, sit down.” Reddignton retires a chair for you, a far too kind gesture considering how he had acted just an hour ago when Donald went missing in the mission. “Would you join me for a drink?” He pours another glass of a wine, which seems to cost at least a ten percent of your monthly salary, before you could even reply.
“Ressler has disappeared. He is probably being tortured at the moment, maybe even…” That’s another thing you learn in the field. Never say the forbidden word. If you do, you lose any kind of faith in seeing them again. If you lose faith, you lose everything. Even the possibility of them. "And you are thinking about wine?”
“Well, news like that is better taken while tipsy, isn’t it?”
Classical Reddington. Joking in the most inappropriate moments. Well, you also have an habit of storming out when angered. He will have to deal with that.
“You know how much he has lost because of you, right? Liz, his old girlfriend..." That gives you a bitter taste while rolling off your tongue at the same time you stand up. "You know what he has gone through. Don’t you care at least a bit? Once he dedicated his life to see you behind bars you, now he works by your side."
Your words are rushed, agitated. You can't even stop to catch a breath. Not that you want you, not until you are sure Ressler can do the same.
"You should respect that at least, I thought Raymond Reddington cared about his team.”
You see a strange glimmer in his eyes. Not mockery this time, but there was a small smirk in the curve of his thin lips. Laugh? Perhaps a hint of pride?
“First of all, you are well aware I do." He takes a long sip until the glass in empty. " Second, Donald is not in risk. Maybe bruised, but not deeply hurt. Those guys know better than to mess up with my team, as you have put into words.”
“Then why don’t you do something?”
Now there is a full grin on his face as he stands up takes his jacket from the hanger, not without leaving a generous tip on the table.
“I was waiting for you to ask me. And you did, half an hour earlier than I had bet by the way. This case may be even worse than I thought.”
“Cut out the riddles, Reddington.”
“You know he’s in love with you, right?”
How could he say it so blatantly, sweeping his fedora with such a calm manner while you had lost all your words? Mouth hanging and unable to stammer something coherent.
“He what?”
“And it seems pretty mutual to me” With that he puts the hat on and opens the door for both of you. Still trying to process everything you can't help following him in silence.
The rest of the rescue passes bluring infront of your eyes. Reddington telling you the exact location. Entering the housing development which had been carefully built as a cover for the criminal network (only a few houses were actually being used by its members). Dembe and Siya watching your back as the suspects were aiming at you. Clearing the area. Immobilizing the suspects. And finally arriving to Ressler's side.
You try to be gentle as you untie him from ropes which are holding him to a chair. However, your attempts are futile, hands to clumsy and brain dulled by all the emotions coming for you at once. You can't even recall when a few timid tears have started rolling down your cheeks, but you don't mind either. Donald is an equal mess right now, it's the first time you have seen him like these. Vulnerable. Human. And it only adds to the feeling you don't dare to voice. Not yet.
As soon as his free you wrap your arms around him. His nose in your hair as an anchor to remind him you are finally here. A considerable bruise under his eye and his bloody knuckles would usually worry to death (yes, even considering your field). But now you can't bring yourself to care, just wanting to hold him close. An urge to kiss his lips until you are both restless reaches your mind, yet the need for this. Just a hug. Just a simple gesture to assure you he won't be leaving anytime soon is enough for the moment.
"I think you have some things to discuss. I will leave you to it.”
Raymond's words take you by surprise, and between the falling tears you and Donald start laughing at the situation.
"Maybe we should talk about this" You whisper as you try to calm down and reluctantly pull away from him.
Too bad he has no intention of moving, but neitheir of saying what is really going through his mind.
"Maybe. Later. Not now. Just..."
Without further ado he rests his face on the crock of your neck. He had always been a man of action, not too good words. You didn't mind. As long as you could feel his breath on your skin, his warm body relaxing. Working in the unit every second matters. And you will treasure these and enjoy them as long as you can.

Murder Drone episode 7 & 8 trailer analysis
This is the first bit of Murder Drone news we've had in a while so I'm biting at the chance to do some analysis. I'll do new dialog first as there isn't much of it.
"hahaha thanks for giving me the planet. Fricking idiot."
This is said by CYN or Absolute Solver, which ever one you want to call them. At first I thought this was a thing that happen in present time but that seems like a pretty big plot twist to put in the trailer so more then likely it's either what happen when Copper-9 core collapsed or what happened to Earth.
"All I know is I need you. [We'll] figure things out, together?"
I put the "We'll" in square brackets as I'm not a 100% sure that's what he says, theirs a loud crash right before it and there are no subtitles so can't be sure. N is not having a good time, poor baby. I'm guessing Uzi found out about the whole kill all infected worker drones and N is comforting her that he won't kill her.
On to the images now.
This shot is pretty dark and we get no context about it but it appears to be some sort of man made cave system, with wooden support beams and a wooden crate with what appears to be an old timey gas lamp. The hole in the wall is made out of fleshy growths with human skulls and rib cages, the fleshy growths are reminiscent to other fleshy stuff the Absolute Solver has made and the human remains are likely from the scientist or other types of workers unlucky enough to be in the blast radius when the hole was created. My money is on one of those Null black holes like the one Uzi made in Episode 6.
Uzi and N hug UwU. All jokes aside they appear to be in some sort of church, surprisingly clean for what I have to assume is god knows how far underground. The hug seems pretty desperate so they seem to have been separated from each other, as shown in the next shot, also Tessa or Doll are nowhere to be found.
This is the best shot I could get of this scene. N is being dragged on the floor into the hole by eldritch hands, this seems to be the same spot as the first image. N is grabbing something and for the life of me I have no idea what it could be but N seems to think it's important, It's not a core, maybe a human heart but that is a big maybe, but it's my best guess.
Here we see 2 sentinels chained up and a giant church, the sentinels are probably guarding it. At first I thought it was raining in this scene but on closer inspection it's actually stalagmites and stalactites, which means their definitely underground. there's a human skull on the bottom right and in red, possibly blood, is written null, there other words on the column right behind it too but it's to hard to read it.
In this frame you can better see that there's a banner on the church that says, "Lab space for rent" there seems to be red tape on it with other text but that's way to small to even guess at what it's saying. There's also a miner helmet and a bloody pickaxe, given the blood I'm guessing this was for a human and not a drone.
The sentinels seem to be reacting to some sort of light but the source of the light is not seen but it's from above, which is why I first confused it for lightning but given their underground that seems unlikely.
The only thing we see of Tessa and it's slamming Nori's locker closed, there was nothing in the locker if you were wondering. I love the little drawings, hopefully we get to see more of Nori she seems to be an interesting character .
Something weird I noticed is that thing in the bottom left corner it's not there for one frame and the next it's there and I have no idea what it could be. It's probably nothing and maybe just a result of editing for the trailer but I thought I mention it.
Look at them their so cute. I think they heard something and turn around to see what it is, likely after the hug but no idea. the light there facing is red and it persists throughout the next few shots too, maybe it's Doll, the eldritch thing from earlier or both, eldritch Doll.
Uzi is holding a crucifix of all things??? Also Uzi does not seem ok, she seems to move weird.
This frame shows that Uzi has some sort of image on her screen, or her screen is off with no eye lights and it's reflections, it's really hard to tell, but I think it's the first as the frames before this where her head is down has the same thing which wouldn't be if it's reflections.
At first I thought there was a disassembly drone in the background but it appears to be a light fixture, though it doesn't seem to do a lot of help as it's dark as hell down there. Also Rip N's hand. I think there might be a N and Uzi fight but I doubt either of them wants that.
It's interesting their leaning heavily on the Christian theming, it's always been there, the disassembly have wings and halos, head band lights, and where even referred to as sky demons, but they've never been so upfront. If I'm reading them right N is meant to be an angel or a fallen angel and Uzi a demon but what that means for the episode I'm not sure.

“Hello, I’m the friendly wizard _____. My name got taken by a fey prince but it hasn’t really hampered my life. Anyways I am new to this wider wizard community and would like to get along. I have a magic book, a cart, and a friend. His name is Jerry, he is a fungus colony that has taken over my magic book and acts sort of as my patron. He…is a little weird but great fun.”
*sound of an explosion in the background, a book flys by being chased by goblin shamans casting fire ball*
“He is…”
“He is fine.”
“Anyways, I am here to sell goods and make a small profit. If you need something I’ll see what I can do : ) ”
“Also apparently I helped smuggle an amnesiac @fattocatto-wizard out of the city in my wagon. That was a shock, though he was just a cat.

Because you can't tell me otherwise, these two like to play, and like a good challenge.
It starts like this: he lost his cuff with his hourglass symbol in a fight, Jinx found it when she came to check out what happened. Sentiment made her pick it up, and maybe she could rile him up a bit.
They're not actively each other's enemy (there are other dangers and worries these days and a common enemy) but they steer well clear of the other, but every so now and then they cross paths.
Next time they meet, she teases him “Missing something?” While flicking a new little braid just behind her ear over her shoulder where she's put the cuff. “Want it back? Come and get it."
Why did she start? She couldn't give a straight answer if she tried. In the end, it boils down to this: He was her friend, her playmate, and she's bored and, if honest, still wants some form of connection.
He steals it back. Why? He could just make a new one. But this offers just the littlest of connections, a throwback to his friend, that he can't help but want to indulge in. Also, if she's distracted by him, less of a chance for her to cause harm to others. And if he's honest, he misses their games, the fun they used to have.
She doesn't really put up a fight for it. She wants him to take it back; he's missing something that makes him, him. Silly as that seems.
“It's part of you, completes the look.” followed by “Watch out, I'll get it back next time” - he's shocked, dare he say it almost sounded like a challenge (and a flirt). Would he and Powder have played such games if the explosion never happened?
So he takes a gamble, and well, they'd always loved a good game, so he's down to play. To show it; he adds a piece.
Next time they meet, she skims past him and, like she said, steals the cuff right off of him. He'll give her and him this. He slows time for a moment and puts a cuff in her pouch with her symbol on it.
His is silver in colour, hers is copper. Before she slips away with her prize, he tells her “Looked good on you too."
She finds the new cuff when refilling her pouch. Jinx does not want to admit how that makes her feel. To still be thought of, and not just as Powder or the memory of, but as Jinx, sure as day that's her symbol.
With that, the game begins properly. The extra shorter little braid becomes a thing. Both cuffs are on it, and she dares him to take them from her. He succeeds. And the time after that, she from him, both having fun teasing the other. And so it goes for a while. Until it goes wrong.
She may not be fighting him or the firelights, but she sure as hell isn't taking them into consideration. When they end up in a fight with the same chem baron, it goes almost terribly wrong when she launches one of her bombs. Those with him barely escaped the blast radius.
He is beyond angry at her, rightfully so. He can't, he knew he was playing with fire, but he had hoped something was changing, to have her do exactly what he feared, broke something in him. He has the cuffs at the moment. There will be no game, not any more. He throws them at her. “Keep ‘em, I'm not playing anymore!"
At first, she's angry, too. If stupid boy saviour didn't want them, then she didn't either. She leaves them where they fell. She fumes for a good few hours before she realises she's all alone again, but for her voices, who tell her she once again ruined everything. Frantic, she searches the area where they'd landed. They're scuffed but still there. And she pickes them up like precious treasure.
This game, this one good thing, this fun thing, it's something stable, something that reminds her she's not entirely alone, there's still one person who will actually look at her, play with her, touch her, even if it's brief. It's something she wants, something that engages her, makes her feel alive without all the destruction. It made her feel human.
And now it's gone.
There's no getting close to him. He avoids her like the plague. It hurts. Even if they still share the same battles.
At some point, Ekko gets kicked off his hoverboard and gets knocked out. Jinx is the one to pull him out of harm's way. When he comes to, the other firelights are with him.
“That menace pulled you to safety, we thought she'd done something but, well you're ok.” Later when he's back home he finds both his and her cuff in his pocket and a crumpled piece of paper, a doodle of an explosion on it with an x crossed through it and green bugs flying around.
And he knows it's her way of saying sorry, that broke him a little more. One silly little game with your ‘not quite enemy anymore’/‘once upon a time friend’ carries all that meaning, all that longing, and just the smalest bit of hope, it's that one remaining connection he has and fuck the baggage he wants to hold on.
He's wearing the cuffs again. The grin that lights her up is something to behold. For a moment, he thinks he's maybe made a mistake when she takes out something, a mini grenade? She dropped it between them. “Playtime!” A puff of smoke rises and clears quickly. She's standing a little bit away, putting the cuffs in her hair. “Were ya worried?” Her voice sounds small and a bit thick with emotion. “I can play safe.” Her voice cleared up a moment later. “Call your bugs away. This ship's going boom.”
The ship of shimmer does indeed explode, but not before those he was with were out of range.
It's his turn to steal them back, and he does something the others would call him stupid for, but he misses her and she kept her promise and well he's wanted to do this since he was twelve.
He kisses her, just a quick brush of lips as he flies by on his hoverboard, slowing time just for a moment, but she's thoroughly stunned. It's an easy steal.
“Want them back? Come and get them.” He echoes back at her. She definitely wants to steal them back, the kiss too.
The game gets infinitely more fun after that.
