odd genre of tumblr post/comment: poster informs the audience (correctly or otherwise) that a thing that is already obviously bad is a product of racism and/or colonialism, which apparently makes it Properly Bad and now you should agree even more that it's bad. or (the subtext) now you know that's is bad enough that you should at least make a token effort to pretend to care about it.

About the article about Omar and its racist undertones, not all of us swedes are racist. I've seen a few people feeling like it's the norm here but I want to send a big hug to all those who felt like it. So I hear Sweden is producing a big budget show about swedish pre-history and these are the main characters. This is the same country that smelted down iron age era relics, because they deemed them not representing any value.

These kinds of people literally hate themselves for who they were born as and they extend these sentiments towards all white people.

Sweden is a shameful example what happens if you do not rein in your self-hating intellectuals, they will harm you and your society in ways you could not imagine.

Personally, I am unironically looking forward to the continentwide bloodletting that I think is coming in the form of religious and racial conflicts.

A small tribute to what was probably the best blog that ever existed on Tumblr, its photos and images are incredible and inspiring, she, a Swedish woman, amazed at being in an interracial relationship, decided to dedicate herself to sharing how beautiful and wonderful it can be. be interracial love in the fight against racism and intolerance, showing other real couples who are happy and fulfilled in their respective interracial relationships. Unfortunately, for reasons I don't know, she ended her work on the blog in 2019, but she will forever remain in our hearts and we hope that one day she will reappear and return to present us with her beautiful posts. The Eurovision song contest is facing intense scrunity and accusations of discrimination after it rebuked Swedish-Palestinian pop star Eric Saade for wearing a Palestinian scarf in the opening act of the semi-finals. Saade, whose father is of Palestinian origin, kicked off the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, Sweden on Tuesday evening with a keffiyeh, a traditional Palestinian and Arab male headdress, wrapped around his wrist. [...] In response, the organisers of the contest, European Broadcasting Union (EBU) released a statement saying it "regretted" that Saade wore the scarf. "The Eurovision Song Contest is a live TV show. All performers are made aware of the rules of the contest, and we regret that Eric Saade chose to compromise the non-political nature of the event," it said. [...] Eurovision later posted clips of the performances of the other two opening acts on its social media pages, but did not share Saade’s, prompting social media users to share the performance on their personal pages to show support for the artist.

Waving Palestinian flags, wearing traditional Palestinian garments, or if we're being honest, just being Palestinian, is now officially "too political" for Eurovision.

Literally, all Saade did was wear a keffiyeh around his wrist—while being Palestinian—and that was enough to get a statement from the EBU, and have his opening performance scrubbed from Youtube.

not to hijack a post like this but i wanna say that the kina snacks are made by a finnish company, and another finnish company had to change the packaging on their chocolate kisses not too long ago.

yeah. it’s rancid. not only that, but i’m pretty sure everyone and their mother, especially grandmother, knows that these kisses were called ”n-word kisses” not too long ago, i think the name was changed in 2010’s, which is INSANELY late. they shared the name with a swedish treat, which could’ve so simply just be called coconut balls or chocolate balls but no. had to be racist.

it’s pretty much the same in finland as sweden, we’re the ”little sibling” country after all. the casual racism is off the charts, the n-word is used freely, and the nationalism is crazy. just last year people were crying because an ethnic store opened up in the capital that sold exotic fruit. like that was pretty much it. there has been a rise that i’ve seen in the right wing ideology, it screams for finnish ”purity” that immigrants are harming, and it calls for the closing of borders and tossing out anyone who isn’t white.

if you’re not white and blonde, you’re not finnish. even though any nationality can be of any ethnicity.

Tell a European person that their idea of an ethnostate is extremely racist and based in extreme white supremacist ideas and watch what sort of bullshit they will come up with when you say that a brown person can be swedish
