well i hope you're proud of your big decision. i hope it's all that you want and more. now you're free from the agonizing life you were living before.

father: charles meyers mother: rachel franklin step-mother: lucy murray-meyers

her parents were two kids from crappy homes who found love and freedom in each other. they ran away together when they were sixteen, but then found out they were expecting a baby. while avett’s father wanted to become a big name in the music industry, he was forced to take whatever jobs he could find, leaving his girlfriend home with their newborn daughter.

after a few years of scraping and saving, it seemed like charles was going to make it big, & he began to be home even less, auditioning and playing gigs around the city when he wasn’t working. rachel had once dreamed of becoming an actress, but those dreams were lost in the reality of caring for avett, although the young woman began to resent her significant other for prioritizing his dreams over hers.

it wasn’t until avett was seven years old that her mother vanished one morning, taking everything except her guitar and a note apologizing to her daughter. from then on, it was just charles & avett, and the man very quickly realized he barely knew his own kid.

instead of taking that opportunity to get to know the bright, beautiful daughter he had, he hired a nanny and threw himself into work; rationalizing that he was doing it to provide for her, when in reality, all avett wanted was her father after losing her mother.

when avett became a teenager, it was clear her father never had any intention of being an involved, loving parent, and he enrolled her in a performing arts high school in new york. with a whole country between them, they grew further apart, until avett was only coming home for summers. christmas’ were spent at rockefeller center and seeing off-broadway shows, exchanging gifts with her friends and ignoring the ache inside of her when they left to see their families.

imagine her surprise when she returned home one summer to find her father had remarried- to a woman who was only a few years older than she was. as if that wasn’t a shock to the poor teenager, her new step mother was expecting a baby. avett decided then and there that when she graduated, she was moving to los angeles to become an actress and wanted nothing to do with her father’s do-over family.

Felicia wasn’t sure why she wasn’t surprised anymore by anything that went on in New York City. One week it was aliens invading, the next it was a super villain trying to take over the world by starting in one of the biggest cities in the country. And now it was...talking pumpkins committing petty crimes. She had seen an actual jack-o-lantern steal a man’s wallet. She was confused, a bit amused, but mostly confused in the sight she was beholding. The remark she heard come from a woman near her, had her snorting. 

“Could be worse, I suppose. One told me that I needed to wear better shoes if I wanted to be considered rich enough to even steal from.” She deadpanned. “I got pumpkin guts all over my new red bottom Louboutins. How the fuck is that not rich enough?” Felicia scowled. Though, she wouldn’t admit to this stranger they were stolen themselves. They looked better on Felicia anyways than that rich socialite who wore them one time.

“32 trainees, 16 boys and 16 girls.” lee iseul begins. it’s the first time the trainees get to meet her in person. “do you know the meaning of the number 16? there are many, i have to be honest. but i decided to settle on three in particular; determination, growth and harmony. future dreams has been about determination and growth, that, we cannot deny. it has been about change, about passing down from an old generation, the seniors, to a new one... you. but harmony... where is this harmony?” she stares at her audience. “for the record; i lied. didn’t anybody notice? there are 34 trainees here, note 32.” her gaze goes from LEE RACHEL to PARK SEOJIN. “we are beginning like this today, because two of our companions until here will be leaving FUTURE DREAMS PROJECT. RACHEL and SEOJIN, will indeed be exiting to follow their own path. JUNG MISO will also slowing her activities with us after the next trimester, but will remain a part of the “sacred number 16″ for the time being.”  she knows the trainees must be rather confused at the moment, and this amuses her. “let’s really begin, shall we?

MISSION 1: PROJECT ORIGIN

“project origin in itself is a complete universe we are creating around the trainees present here. some will join, some will leave.” he gazes goes to the obvious concerned at the moment. “it is set in a different world, a world where the world is barren due to wars and the people are divided, war constantly breaks. only few knights bestowed with light are left but they will not hold long. the future’s hope rests on 34 knights in training. not deemed ready yet, but there’s no time left...” she explains. “if this sounds like the plot of a webtoon, you are right. stories of PROJECT ORIGIN will be released weekly and you, my dears will be the base of the characters in it.” she finally explains with a smile

“we own the rights of distributing your material, so why are you here exactly? because the beginning of this story will be adapted into a musical; PROJECT ORIGINS - THE BEGINNINGS. for the next few weeks you will be trained to perform like musical actors. you will also be tasked to come up with a character that should represent your ideal public persona. this will be the character you will play during the musical and how the your character will be portrayed in the webtoon.”

it’s finally hyuncheol’s turn to speak. “you have until may 15 to prepare those characters. the musical will be presented in early july in SEOUL, BUSAN and DAEGU.”

“seojin, rachel, you may now exit” he adds right after. the silence remains until the two have left.

MISSION 2: ROTATIONAL UNITS

this time,  it’s the ceo himself, PARK JEONGHAN, who addresses the trainees. “LGC GIRLS and LGC BOYS are becoming official rotational units. which means that from today on, should you accept the offer we are making, you will be considered IDOLS. “both units are heavily linked with PROJECT ORIGIN at the moment. should you refuse to be in one, you’ll refuse to be in the other at the same time.” the man explains. “rotational means that the lineup is bound to change and some members could miss some releases either by choice, schedule conflicts or per company decisions. new members are also likely to join.”

after the grand announcement, hyuncheol takes the lead again. “we have a packed schedule coming for you. LGC GIRLS will be releasing a mini-album of 4 songs on JUNE 15 and LGC BOYS on JULY 13. both units will then embark on a FANMEETING tour in AUGUST and SEPTEMBER. cities chosen are seoul, daegu, busan, tokyo, jakarta, macau, taipei, manila, bangkok, singapore, los angeles, minneaplis, houston, washington dc and new york!”

even if the full mission will be presented in TWO WEEKS, here are the requirements you’ll have to fulfill for this part of the mission, due on JULY 3.

Most Epic Villain: Tbh I just really love how the biggest threat in E2 is a combination of the Council and the Eden team as individuals? I love the Council because that’s what got me so into studying corrupt government stuff and I love the group because their divisions are where the most conflicts derive from and it’s epic writing 

Pairing I am not a fan of: Morgan/Bess 

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Morgan probably? He did develop a Lot but ultimately he’d never make monumental progress or learn from his mistakes. Also maybe Alonzo because while he was written well for what was intended, I wish the intention for him were different

Favourite Friendship: True and Uly or lowkey True and Bess if you can call it a friendship? She’s just always there for True and it’s so valid. I also really love how the Ops Crew is like it’s own little family at times

Character I wish I could be: Tbh they’re all trainwrecks and I have enough problems so I don’t think I’d really want to be any of them dfjkhsdjk but if I had to, either Julia (because a lot of my problems are just hers recontextualized) or Devon because of that $$$

When I started shipping them: The moment I saw them on screen together when I first watched this back in like the summer of 2016

My thoughts: Like they start off with Devon really resentful of Julia because she isn’t Vasquez and then Julia works ridiculously hard to prove herself and they’re finally on good terms! Except Julia’s entire purpose was to sabotage Devon’s mission but then she falls for her and tries to find a compromise between loyalties but still messes up and the whole betrayal thing is something they have to learn to overcome Together. And once that’s out of the way it’s smooth sailing until some [redacted] spoilers Julia blames herself for and in my heart I Need her to resolve and just?? No matter how things go down there’s always SOMETHING challenging their relationship and there’s just so much wasted potential??

What makes me happy about them: The potential may have been wasted in canon but it’s here for me to do stuff with. They can bond over their shitty moms (Julia’s is… Julia’s and Devon’s is Dead but was rly neglectful/strict), they can both overcome those issues by being awesome moms to Uly, and they just?? They may not have had the most stable starting foundation but that just makes how far they’ve come even better. Also they were some of the few people whose quarters were connected to the greenhouse which makes for a lot of potential to do a lot of things when other people are asleep, whether it be stargazing up in the loft when they both end up there because they can’t sleep or [redacted]

What makes me sad about them: There was so much unrealized potential for them in canon

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: The fact that there is no fanfic for them apart from my own unfinished drafts from 2016

Things I look for in fanfic: Fanfic at all jkdfhkjkd

My wishlist: Let Them Hold Hands You Cowards 

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I don’t mind Devon/Danziger and I acknowledge how Alonzo’s role in Julia’s life was beneficial but I mainly stick to F/F so I’d be happiest seeing how either of them might work with Bess or any future female characters we would’ve seen when the colony ship arrived or female characters from their unexplored pasts 

My happily ever after for them: They set up New Pacifica after remedying the finale, the colony ship gets there and they form the beginnings of a really cool community where they don’t have to do as much work but they still have a purpose, and they just get to chill together as Uly’s two moms while going about daily life with hopefully no further threats from the Council or potential greedy colonists on separate missions because lol that future episode was just a suggestion

How I feel about this character: I love her with my entire heart and she deserved so much better than anything she got in the show 

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Mira, that one AO3 writer’s version of Ayani, and I don’t rly mind the ship with Taylor because the Ayani stuff kinda drew me in but I prefer them as just long-time friends

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: her being Leah’s adopted mom

My unpopular opinion about this character: She isn’t hetty lmao 

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: She lives Her character would have gotten to have more focus on herself independent of other characters or her duty, she would’ve gotten to be with Mira or at least gotten an exploration to their past, she would’ve gotten more time as Leah’s accidental mom, etc I just want Something 

Favorite friendship for this character: Taylor but that’s mostly because we didn’t see her get to develop many other character relationships 

My crossover ship: her and Helen Magnus from Sanctuary because in the AU where her death is faked and she gets sent to the future just before Hope Plaza gets destroyed, she has to get together a bunch of old colleagues and scientists to get her back to TN (and also pick up Sienna on the way) and of course, Helen is one of the people who go along. Abnormals were given lower priority than keeping humans alive in the shitty future of TN so Helen doesn’t have much purpose left here and while she was offered a position in TN anyway, she didn’t want to take someone else’s legal place since she’s already lived an unfair amount of time. In the months trying to get a portal to work and in the time they spend trying to get back to the colony and set everything right, she and Wash form a deep trust and shit just kinda happens. For example, both of them have medical experience but they’re both REALLY stubborn so while Wash is still concussed as fuck and ignoring it, Helen is the one to make her sit down and take care of herself. And atm, Wash is really alone and isolated, which is something Helen has dealt with for most of her life and they can cope with it together. It’s also fun to play with because Wash, usually second-in-command, is now leader of their little group and Helen, usually leader of a whole Sanctuary Network that’s now in shambles, doesn’t have total control for once and she has to adjust to being back but not as she once was.

PERSONAL

Bad Habits: Sleeping with people to avoid dealing with her feelings, biting her lip when she’s nervous, playing with her hair and generally fidgeting when people speak to her. Good Habits: Obsessively always keeping a pack of gum on her because she hates bad breath, sending good morning texts and practising her ballet. Best Characteristic: Her ability to start up a conversation with just about anyone. Worst Characteristic: Her inability to open up and have a serious conversation about her emotions. Worst Memory: Her mother finding out that she got blackout drunk and had a threesome with two of her father’s close associates. She didn’t seem to take into account the fact that it was vastly inappropriate for them to be talking to Lana in the way they had which lead to the encounter, or the fact that she was drunk when it happened. PART 2: GROWING UP

How would you describe your childhood in general?

Quinn had a difficult childhood. She was pressured to be more like her sister and bullied at school for being overweight. Because of this, she stayed in a lot and played video games to get her mind off everything. After losing the weight, she still felt the pressure to be like her sister, but her school days got better and even became popular once she joined the cheerleading squad. 

What is your earliest memory?

Staying the summers with her grandparents in Savannah, Georgia.

How much schooling have you had?

She has had from Kindergarten up to her junior year of university. She will be doing her senior year as well and possibly go on to get more education.

Did you enjoy school?

When she was younger, she did not. She often tried to get out of going to school. After things started getting better, she loved it. She loved her Queen B status and would go to every school event. She continues to love school.

While growing up, did you have any role models? 

She found most of her role models to be fictional including Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series. She often wanted to be just like her, but her thoughts changed as she got older. She also looked up to her grandmother on her mom’s side of the family due to how she created her own path instead of following her family’s wishes for her.

While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?

Quinn considers herself to be quite the Daddy’s girl, as he would dote on her and give her anything she wanted. He still does. She has always been at conflict with her mother and sister as they want her to be more like them. She got on with her grandparents, her Grandma Eleanor being her favorite. Now, she gets on great with her cousin of sorts by marriage, Sebastian, and considers him her favorite family member. She wants to get close to her niece and try to show her she doesn’t have to be like most of the women in the Fabray family.

Archaeologist and then a game developer

She wasn’t popular from K-6th grade, but after losing weight and joining the cheerleading team in 7th grade, she became popular and stayed that way the rest of her school years. She didn’t consider anyone her true friend, and didn’t get those until she started at UT.

She’s not. She lost her virginity to Kyle when she was 16.

What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

Everything that happened between her 6th and 7th grade years.

Currently, it’s Brittany, Santana, Sebastian, and Finn. Her family also does to a point because she likes to do things that will upset her mother or sister.

Reaching her millions of followers on Twitch and YouTube as a gamer. However, as that’s a secret, she would say being the captain of the squad in high school.
