One of the first things Frank Castle did when deciding to wage war on crime, but before embarking on the first mission of this war, was to draft a Last Will. Included within his will are instructions for his remains and burial. The draft has seen some revisions over the years. But the few things which have remained the same are as follows:

Frank Castle is to be buried in an unmarked grave at Saint Michael's Cemetery, close to his family but not within the same plot.

There will be no traditional funeral service, no religious service, and no military service. Castle's remains are to simply be buried.

If it can be helped, the affairs of his death will remain private. No obituary will be written.

The only people with the current draft of Castle's will are also the only people Frank thinks should be notified of his death: Matt Murdock, Nick Fury, Rachel Cole-Alves, and Steve Rogers.

This is a post from last august but whatever, i wanna use this to mention Rachel Cole-Alves from the 2011 Greg Rucka run. Been a while so some details may be off BUTTTTT....

She was a war vet that was about to marry her fiancé before they got gunned down during the wedding by the main crime boss of the run (can't remember who, sorry), but Rachel surives, if i remember correctly, she surives thanks to organ implants from her husbands body. Has a big scar and now carries her husbands surname with it.

She meets up with Frank during a mission and they team up, she meets Daredevil and Spidey, and is generaly a bad ass.

Also she's how we got this Spider-Man moment

If I announced a Marvel Movie about a female superhero whose story was that her entire family was murdered in front of her, and from that moment she used her military training to go on a one woman crusade, murdering her way through the entire mafia, beating up cops, and torturing arms dealers all for revenge, I’m 100% confident that the diehard Marvel-bros would make 2 hour long videos about how that is the stupidest most “woke liberal feminist bullshit,” they have ever heard and completely ripping it apart and telling me that I’m ruining superhero movies with my feminism…

Which is funny because I just described the fucking Punisher, which is every Dude-bro’s wet dream…
