Jacob can’t help but stare at Jack as he leans into the train car’s entry. Pondering life in a bar over a pint was one thing; doing on lying on the floor, much less in a train? That’s a little different.

But Jacob comes further into the car and gently nudges Jack to scoot over. Once there’s room, Jacob stretches out next to him.

“...ponderin’ life, huh?” Jacob ventures after a few moments of quiet save for the train. “What part’f it?”
