Would you rather fight one tailed beast-sized samehada, or fifty samehada-sized tailed beasts?

“That is indeed a great question as it challenges one to weigh the magnitude of power against the manageability of size. To confront one tailed beast-sized Samehada would mean facing a single entity with immense power and size, amplified by Samehada’s unique ability to absorb chakra. The challenge here would be monumental, requiring immense strength and strategy, particularly since the size of a tailed beast would make Samehada’s chakra-absorbing scales incredibly formidable.

On the other hand, fighting fifty Samehada-sized tailed beasts presents a different set of challenges. While individually these creatures would be smaller and potentially less powerful than their full-sized counterparts, managing fifty entities simultaneously would require exceptional tactical acumen. The coordination and stamina needed to combat multiple foes, each possessing unique abilities albeit on a smaller scale, would test one's capacity to strategize and adapt under pressure.

more often than not these days, exhaustion clung to him more than cloak did. if he wasn't researching, he was travelling for research and if he wasn't doing that then he was caring for his sick son. what was it that Bob had said last time they spoke? ah — the bags under ivan's eyes were heart kreuz. he wished he could deny it, but denial was more his FATHER'S thing than his.

regardless, laxus has been having a good week. the medicine ivan's mom concocted had dulled the symptoms enough he was fully of energy. and thus, makarov offered to watch him, play with him or whatever it was the two did alone. it made ivan nervous, but how was ivan to say no to his son's excitement? and so, here ivan was, waiting their return in the guild hall. he hasn't spent much time here recently. isley and jio were gone now, as expected. macao was on a job. gildarts was wherever he went.

without much prompting, ivan sat at one the the less empty tables. there was someone already here, a somewhat familiar face — logan winchester. astrologer. leona had been interested in astrology and asked logan winchester for a reading before, ivan remembered. she was very happy with it. "good afternoon, logan." ivan drawled. he didn't bother asking for permission as he dumped his own books on the table and began to make himself at him. "how are the stars today?"

though his voice was quite monotone, there was an interest. unlike others, ivan respected astrology for what it was — a study in the relationship between stars and people. they lived in a world where constellations had keys, after all. there had to be something.

　　　cherished memory: when ozus was younger, they rescued a baby raven that had fallen out of its nest. it never properly learned how to fly with its mangled wing, but it was so treasured that ozus immediately worked hard to learn 'speak with animals' to better get closer with the corvid. of course this was a long time ago, and that bird is no longer around, but maybe that's why quothe's chosen form is a raven.

　　　dreaded memory: after their fall from grace as the star of their family, they had a stint where they prowled around places they really shouldn't have been. the scar that marred their face — among other unseen ones — comes from a particularly deadly encounter they weren't quite able to talk themselves out of. they're very lucky to be alive.

　　　surely, good things come out of one's darkest hours, though, right?

Story time:

Yesterday (because it’s now past midnight here) I ended up getting soft (only for about 12 hours) IP banned from azlyrics.com. The reason why? Because I needed to find a line of “lyrics” from a song that I’d only taken a screenshot of, because I had not copied and pasted the “lyrics” themselves at the time of me initially finding it! Apparently me flipping through every single song lyric page for the artist was setting off alarm bells for the site lol.

Anyway, here’s the “lyrics” that got me IP banned:

So, all I can say is that Matt Bellamy’s falsetto got me IP banned, and I find it as amusing as it was irritating.

I still haven’t found the song this is from either. If anyone knows it, please let me know.
