~ Ghosts: A Very Self Indulgent Clone Wars Story. Part 1 of ? ~
~ Title says it all. Includes a few but not all of the clones. More Jedi centrered this time, no I don’t care if that’s not how the force works it is now. Rated E for everyone. ~
~ yes I will get back to the other story very soon don’t worry about it ~
It had been a month since umbara but it felt like way less. No matter how much time it still seemed fresh in everyone’s minds. The world the 501st and 212th had been deployed on wasn’t helping any either. It was currently dark, and foggy. And chilly. It wasn’t below zero, but it was cold.
Tup couldn’t sleep. The atmosphere reminded him far to much of umbara and it was to cold in the barracks to rest. Plus his favourite heat source had run off. The nerve. So, he paced the halls outside the barracks. The planet already had a base built, as it was republic controlled. But the battalions had been sent there in preparation for a large scale separatist attack. That didn’t help his nerves. Nor did the fact he had heard the general and the commander discussing this planets unusual force and supernatural activity. But of course, that was just stories they tell to scare young padawans.
Suddenly he felt a chill and saw some of the thick fog from outside roll into the halls. That was weird... he walked in the direction it was coming from to see what was up.
It was coming from the hangar. The hangar doors should be closed for the night, but instead they were wide open. In fact, Tup knew they were closed before. How did someone get them open alone, and so quietly? The fog was pouring in from the outside and there was a dark figure standing alone in the massive opening. Only their shadow visible against the pale grey-blue of moonlight lit fog. The hangar still had all the lights off so he couldn’t make out any details.
“H-Hey... you’re not supposed to be here!” Oh tup hated the way his voice trembled. He shouldn’t be scared here, he could take whoever it was, even without a blaster. But it felt incredibly off. Whoever that was, didn’t feel like a vod.
Whoever it was turned around and their two glowing eyes pierced through the fog and right into tup.
“D-Dogma? Is that you?” It certainly looked like Tups brother, and of what Tup could make out, had the same armour. But it felt wrong. Very wrong.
Two double bladed lightsabers folded open, cutting through the dark. A green sabre in his left hand, and blue in his right. Tup screamed loud enough to wake the whole barracks.
Whoever it was cleared the distance between them in almost no time flat, way faster than a clone should be able to move. But in the light of the sabres, Tup finally got a good look at who it was. It really was Dogma. He had been right the first time. But at the same time, it wasn’t. Everything from his body language to the bloodthirsty hatred in his eyes while his face remained close to neutral wasn’t the brother Tup knew. It was beyond unnerving. And the low whir of these specific lightsabers was familiar to him. As if he could ever forget what the traitor Krell’s own lightsabers sounded like.
Tup backed away, dodging the strikes as they fell towards him. There weren’t any openings in the attackers defences, and Tup was just in his blacks. It was all he could do not to be struck through with each blow.
“What are you doing!? What’s going on!?” Tup rolled out of the way of another attack, but by the looks of it the other trooper was done playing around with him and the next strike made contact. Tup was struck through his shoulder and down across his chest. But before the second, killing strike could be placed, a squad of five troopers entered the hangar and opened fire.
The blasts were deflected and dodged, tup was thrown against the wall with an invisible shove. The attacker dashed towards the troopers, and with a few expertly placed swings the squad was quickly dispatched. The attacker disappeared into the base as Tup’s vision faded.
“Someone’s causing quite a ruckus in the hangar right now. Im surprised you’re not awake.” Qui-gon jin was standing near obi-wans bed, obiwan was still asleep. He was on his side, facing away. Face pressed against the pillow. “You know... it’s something big this time. Your troopers are in serious danger.” Quigon didn’t really expect obiwan to get up, or respond. He never did.
“They’ll be fine. Go bother cody” obiwan mumbled into his pillow.
“No I- wait, did you just respond to me?!”
“Mmmm should i not’ve?” Obiwan rolled over and suddenly the realization hit him and he sat straight up with a jolt “WAIT MASTER QUIGON?!”
“Yes, I’ve been here the whole time. I thought you couldn’t see me! You’ve been ignoring me this entire time?!”
“No, no of course not! I just couldn’t see you until now! Wait, you said something about disaster in the hangar?” Obiwan got up and threw on his outer robes, grabbing the lightsaber on his bedside table. Quigon disappeared.
Obiwan rushed to the hangar and immediately stopped when he saw the five dead troopers near the entrance. He cursed quietly under his breath. Not quick enough. He ignited his lightsaber and sensed what he could from the room. The hangar doors were open, but he only felt one other life form in the room, and it was weak. Not whichever separatist had done this. If it had been a separatist at all. This attack was unusual. The doors left wide open but no droid force, and all these wounds were from lightsaber. He pressed a button on his comm link
“This is General Kenobi, the bass is under attack. The separatists are already inside the building, I want all squads active!”
The security system kicked on and Kenobi approached the other life form slowly. It was a trooper, attacked with a lightsaber just like the other five. This one didn’t have armour on, probably couldn’t sleep. The trooper was shaking, but it wasn’t that cold. He didn’t have much time, but still he ripped a strip of material from the bottom of his cloak to wrap the wound, and wake the trooper. As he thought, he was terrified.
“Can you tell me what you saw, trooper?” Obiwan kept his voice steady and calm.
“Krell he... Krells dead he cant... he-it’s...-“ Tup was falling over his words and Obiwan gave up on trying to get a straight answer once he realized this was an umbara trooper. He heard a distant lightsaber activate and quickly gave Tup the rest of his cloak and took off back down the hall he came.
Kenobi came face to face with anakin and ahsoka. Definitely not so he was looking for. Right? Right.
“They hit the command room. Communications still seem to be working fine, but all the trooper in there were attacked.” Anakin reported.
“Any survivors? Do you know who it is? One of your troopers is alive in the hangar but he couldn’t give me a straight answer. If we know who this is we’ll have a better chance of stopping them.”
“No survivors. But-“ all three of their comms beeped, alerting them to an occurrence in the western corridor, near the main power generator. Anakin and ahsoka took the main route while obiwan split off on a different route, to corner them.
The power cut out for a second as the knight and padawan made their way to the generator, before the backup lighting kicked on. Anakin and ahsoka could see a blue and green glow across the wall as they turned a corner, expecting to see General grievous. Instead they saw a clone, retrieving a double bladed lightsaber from a freshly stabbed brother.
“What are you doing!?” Anakin growled. His eyes told him that was one of his own men, but the force screamed danger and darkness. The clone turned to face the two Jedi, grinning at them.
The clone spoke, and it was a mixture between a clones voice and something else entirely. “You don’t know what these are, do you? Clones are weapons, created to turn on their makers. Mutiny is in their blood. I’m doing you all a favour. But I suppose you are still to naive to see that.”
“My men are completely loyal! None of them would turn against the republic. Not like you... I know who you are” Anakin was holding back, he did know who this was, but he didn’t know what, or how it was. If he struck now, it would be in fury and confusion
Ahsoka shot anakin a puzzled look, not understanding. “Master, isn’t this one of our men?” She asked quietly.
“No. This is the traitor Jedi. Pong Krell.” Anakin took a high swing, parried. Four blades left little opening in his defences. Anakin gave a slight force shove to off balance krell before striking for the middle, parried, fake mid and a high strike and- anakin is force thrown down the hall. He didn’t see the trooper’s hand even move for such an attack. Krell fled, and Ahsoka went after him. But he activated a blast door with the force and jumped through before ahsoka could.
Anakin was up and right beside ahsoka, cutting through the door. But before they could finish it sprung open again. Master Kenobi.
“We lost him!” Anakin cursed.
“Well did you see who it was?” Asked Kenobi.
“Yeah. Pong Krell. I know he was confirmed dead on umbara, but there’s no way it wasn’t him. I think he’s possessed one of my troopers or something. It’s not a mental problem with the trooper, as he could use the force. And fight in a way no trooper I know could.”
“That is... concerning to say the least. How do you suppose we stop this menace?” So the trooper on the hangar had been right. Obiwan should have believed him.
“Well he died once right? Why not kill him again?” Ahsoka chimed in.
Anakin was thinking the same thing, but he would have rather his padawan didn’t say things like that in front of his master.
“He was killed once and he came back. Clearly that didn’t work the first time. We should apprehend him and see what the council has to say about this. I think it would be wise not to kill him.” Obiwan didn’t really want to end up killing the trooper as collateral, but with the situation escalating, he might just have to.
A blast door slammed shut between Rex and his squad. Then a few more down the halls. Rex waited, blasters raised. He knew what would come next. It was no surprise to him when the blast door separating him from his group finally opened again, with his enemy standing at the ready. Four dead clones at his feet. But what was a surprise to him, was seeing that his enemy was Dogma. One of his own troopers. With the lightsabers of the traitor.
“Stand down trooper” Rex seethed. How could Dogma do this? He was so loyal! Dogma took a step forward. “Drop your weapons! Or I will be forced to shoot you!”
“Captain Rex. Is that any way to speak to an authority figure?” That didn’t sound like any clone Rex knew of. That sounded like...
“Stand. Down. Trooper.”
“For a mutinous clone such as yourself? I suppose it is.” The lightsabers whirred as they swung into motion, charging the captain. Rex shot back, but his bolts were easily deflected. He dove out of the way of the swing, but as he raised his blasters to fire again, they were cut in half. Krell raised to swing.
Rex was about to roll left when something else told him “no.” Time stopped for a minute as unseen hands guided the captain back to his feet, and his hands right onto the attackers. The other trooper looked surprised but fought back, trying to angle the blades into Rex. Rex struggled back, but he was losing. The other trooper somehow much stronger than him. “May I?” The same voice asked politely.
“Go for it.” Rex answered aloud.
Suddenly, it was as if rex was an outside observer to his own body. Watching through his own eyes. Whoever was in control now wrenched the green sabre out of Krell’s hand and pushed him back. “The force...” Rex thought. Rex’s body turned off one blade of the sabre and got into a ready stance. The opponent shifting and doing the same. Rex watched bewildered as his body moved on its own, all the grace and skill of a master.
“I sense I’m no longer fighting a-“ krell was saying, but whoever was helping Rex didn’t pause for a monologue. Their blades clashed once again but each move krell made was parried almost before it could happen. Rex had experience fighting dual bladed opponents, and he would not lose again. Wait, no, that wasn’t right. Krell caught them in the brief moment of confusion and Rex’s friend didn’t block in time. The blade nicked Rex’s leg.
“Anakin!”
“What, Master?”
“I sense... I sense master quigon is in danger.”
“What? How! He-“
“This way!” Obiwan suddenly turned a corner, heading away from the barracks where the group was originally headed. He began cutting through a blast door that blocked his path, and anakin joined to speed up the process. They heard a blast door open and close somewhere on the other side, and they got the door open just in time to see Rex and a lightsaber clatter to the ground.
Anakin and Ahsoka ran to him, Ahsoka turned him over and supported his head in her lap.
“He’s alive” Anakin breathed, relieved.
Rex blinked awake, back in his own body “hmm? Wha? That was strange...” Rex got up and grabbed a blaster from one of the dead clones “doesn’t matter right now, he went that way, we need to stop him!”
“Just wait up Rex. He’s probably already long gone. But you’re not dead, what happened?”
Rex stopped and looked back at anakin “I... don’t really know. I had help. I thought it was one of you, sirs. Their voice sounded a little like General Kenobi’s. I was asked permission and when I agreed it was like someone else took over my body. Definitely a Jedi. They fought off krell for me, but left once I was safe. I got a strange glimpse of a memory from them, they’ve fought a Sith with double bladed lightsaber before, but they lost.”
“You had help from my old master, Qui-gon Jin without a doubt. If he left you afterwards, than I think we may be able to get your trooper back. Set that to stun.”
Dogma was spotted in the medical-wing so kenobi and Rex headed to his last known location and Ahsoka and Anakin ran for the medbay itself. Anakin suspected that was where the real target was. The medbay was cleared best it could be, on Anakin’s orders but there was only so many places for the wounded to go. The blast doors were closed but they all knew that wouldn’t hold him.
As two lightsabers pierced the door Anakin held up a hand for the combat medics positioned behind makeshift barricades to hold their fire, before the door was kicked in.
A mixture of bolts set to kill and stun filled the air in an instant, but krell was good, and he dodged and deflected his way through the chaos. He force-shoved the medics to the ground and the two Jedi took that as their cue to switch in.
Anakin leaped up and struck down hard in a downward slash, that was deflected to the right. Ahsoka sweeper left but she was parried and flipped backwards against the returning strike. Though the Jedi continued to exchange strikes, it was clear that Krell was outmatched against two opponents. Ahsoka dropped her sabres and began to levitate, force choked without krell seemingly lifting a finger.
Anakin took another slash at Dogma. He had to break his focus before is padawan ran out of air. But his attack was deflected. On the return strike though anakin locked sabres with him, putting his weight behind it. Krell had to bring the second saner to match the force, or he would be cut with his own blade. The sabre lock was taking to long though and ahsoka was struggling harder.
Suddenly with a loud metallic clang of aluminum against someone’s skull, Dogma deactivated the lightsabers and fell to the ground, along with ahsoka. Anakin put away his own lightsaber.
“Did you just-“
“Yes.” Said Kix, holding a folding chair. “Now if you have binders I suggest you take him to the brig quickly because I have no idea how long that’s gonna hold.”
“Sir yes sir” said Anakin, still stunned.
Obiwan Kenobi Met Skywalker and Tano at the brig. Dogma hadn’t woken up yet, but they were going to try to expel Krell from him anyways. Obiwan opened the cell and the three Jedi entered. The cell closed behind them.
The Jedi pried into the clones mind, which was much harder to do when a dark Jedi was actively trying to keep them out. It was clear now, the two entirely separate entities, one weaker and dormant, the other much stronger and controlling. But after a few hours, they had started to blend. After just a minute rex had gotten access to a little of Qui-gon’s mind, but now it looked like e dominant force was trying to absorb the other into non existence. Skywalker solved this the best way he knew how. Applying tremendous force to both sides. He squeezed his eyes shut and clenched his hand into a fist, driving a wedge through the troopers mind.
“No, Anakin!” Obiwan withdrew, but anakin was still putting on more pressure, slowly moving his hand closer to the clone’s head. He was struggling now, ahsoka had to hold the clone in place, they were trying to resist the power.
Anakin was getting frustrated, and the dark presence didn’t want to move. But it was budging.
“Stop Anakin! You’ll kill him!”
Skywalker wasn’t paying any attention to Obiwan. He was so! Close! He pushed harder. The clone screamed. But he drove that wedge just an inch further and withdrew.
Anakin opened his eyes. The clone had stopped struggling, or screaming. Skywalker thought he actually had killed him before ahsoka said
“Pulse is back. He’s breathing again.”
“Good.” Anakin wiped his hands “let’s go then. We can question him when he wakes up.”
The three Jedi left the cell before Obiwan began lecturing anakin. “You almost killed him! Why didn’t you stop when I told you to!? That was dangerously close to the dark side you know. That was brutal!”
“Yeah well Krell’s gone. I think. Thanks to me. So, you’re welcome.”
Anakin stormed back to his quarters.

Dan Watches: Star Wars: Episode I -The Phantom Menace
So.. I got the idea of writing my thoughts up as I go basically as they get to the Gungan city so.. i’ll try and remember my thoughts before that and then I’ll do it kinda live. Under the cut cus long.
Alright.. So the opening crawl was very.. politics which to be honest as i’ve got older I actually kind of enjoy that side of Star Wars but it doesn’t really add anyhting to the actual film because I think everything thats in it could be picked up by just watching the film.
I kinda like the battle droids.. weird soft spot for them. I like the big ship ones too and Droidekas i thought were the coolest shit ever when i was a kid and i stand by that.
I’m not all that bothered by the racial stereotypes because like.. i’m not the races they’re sterotyping but i can see why it’d be problematic.
Jar Jar isn’t as annoying as everyone makes him out to be.. don’t get me wrong.. he’s annoying.. but he’s not cancer.
Aesthetically the Gungan City is pretty cool, giant underwater bubble city.. i bet there’s cool fan art of it somewhere.
Alright now we’re live.. The duck things the Gungans ride are weird.
Do Gungans like JarJar eventually become the giant Green guy? .. I googled apparently they’re just two different races of Gungan despite looking like totally different Aliens.
It’s nice that all races are like “Life debt? Oh yeah thats a legit thing.”
Gungans speak like English or Common or.. i forget the Star Wars term.. Basic? is their second language.. but it isnt.
Yooo Qui Gon just made JarJar go to sleep using the force.. Why is Force Sleep not a thing in more stuff... gotta keep an eye out for that now.
Naboo is pretty.
Padme is so extra, she’s in her iconic red dress that’s already extra as fuck and then sees that she’s been captured and is like “Alright.. but first.. wardrobe change!” and then shows up in some black number. I’m not sure if at this point she’s actually Padme or if Padme is pretending to be one of her servants now but either way she had a costume change and nobody questions it so she must be having costume changes all the time.
When Qui Gon force pushes two battle droids theres a really weird sound effect that sounds like it belongs in a mario game.
Pretty sure Padme is the handmaid now and this new Queen should take the opportunity to be like “Yoo peace out bitches.” Then we get Keira Knightley’s adventures in Star Wars.
Also who was she before this swaparoo? Was she a handmaid and just suddenly got promoted to queen? Like she could be saying all sorts of shit. I know she gets revealed later on but think of how much she could do whilst Padme is away.
The first words ever spoken to R2 in Star Wars, chronologically, (although inderectly) are “Hello Boyos”. Just sit with that.
The first words spoken to him directly are “How rude.” which seems about right tbf with how sassy he is.
Darth Maul is awesome.
Keira Knightly or Sabe (I looked it up) is like “Yo actual queen, clean that droid!” i think she just wanted to feel more powerful than the actual queen there, little power trip.
Nice Poncho Qui Gon. Cal approves.
I wonder how long Padme took to convince the others to let her go off alone with Qui Gon and Jar Jar and R2 (Dunno why R2 joins them?) on a planet thats ruled by the Hutts
I kinda like Watto.. not as a person.. he just amuses me.
Kinda cool that Anakin can speak Huttese, wish he spoke it more often.. just cursing in Huttese as Obi Wan tries to teach him stuff.
“Are you an Angel.” Smooooth kid. Smoooth, you’re gonna get with her. Despite her being way older than you. They couldn’t have just made him the same age as her?
Toydarians should be used for more things, especially involving force users.
Anakin. The slave. Is like “Here Qui Gon, you’ll like this food.” and he’s just like “Cheers” and pockets it for later. Dude. Try it.
I really hope they do go into more High Republic stuff next, give me a Destiny-type game where you play as a Jedi with your mates.
Quigons like “You must have Jedi reflexes to race pods” Then he catches Jar Jars tongue in a blink of an eye and Anakins like “You’re a Jedi Knight aren’t you?” And Qui-Gon is like “What makes you think that?” ...? .. You just fucking.. God damn it Qui-Gon.
Anakin: “No one can kill a Jedi”. Palpatine: “Hold my Blue milk.”
I feel like im becoming fluent in Gungan broken basic which is worrying.
Anakins mom whos name i’ve literally just forgot is like “He was meant to help you.” ... bitch.. what? Why does nobody question that?
WHY DOES JAR JARS MOUTH MOVE WITH OTHER PEOPLES LINES!? ... Darth Jar Jar.  #PlagueisTheWiseWasAGungan. I mean not rly but seriously.. that would have been a really cool plot twist.
Jar Jar got numbed and got his hand stuck.. so like.. perhaps not.. otherwise you’re playing a little too dumb mate.
The look of worry from Shmi, good stuff.
The two Headed announcer speaking basic and Huttese is pretty smart like, the one doing one and the other doing the other.
What the fuck is Clegg Holdfast?
What the fuck are any of these races? Like.. where are these races throughout the rest of the franchise?
Crazy that lightly bending that one part of the podracer can fuck it up so bad.
Who the fuck is that other Hutt? Oh yeah I’m watching the like updated version with Geroge Lucas’ “Fixes” in it. Probably should have said that earlier.
I cant remember if this is true but I’m pretty sure Qui-Gon knows Padme is the Queen and is just fucking with her at this point.
Man Pod Racing is cool, fuck whoever says it isnt.
Gimmie an updated Pod Racing ps4 game.
What the fuck is that long thin alien thats selling food to the crowd? Gimmie a Jedi version of him.
Havent commented in a while because i just kept watching it tbh.
Coruscant looks cool. Still want more High Republic stuff.
What the fuck is that driver alien, he looks in pain to exist.
“There is no civility, there is only politics” The Chancellor code.
Is it too late to call a vote of no confidence on Palpatine?
I see you there in the background Yaddle. Get it girl.
Fuck me the added extra of this long neck ass Jedi Master is so distracting.
Where Jaro Tapal at tho?
You’d think after Padme’s like “Surprise bitch it’s me” moment coming up the Jedi would be like “Well shit.. maybe we’re less aware of things than we think... Yoda.. are you just a short human painted green?”
Amedala... So extra with these outfits. I get that she’s a Queen but Jesus.
Eyyyyyyyyyyyy it’s ET.
Qui-Gon is such a bad boy.
I kinda get why Jedi take kids when they’re really young, so they can’t remember their parents so they aren’t constantly worried about their parents and then fall to the dark side... doesn’t make it any nicer though.
My vote went to Bail Antilles.
To be fair not training Anakin could have been very bad. He could have like gone even more Darkside and Palpatine could swooped in and trained him himself completely.
Maul is barely in this but fuck is he still cool.
You know what I don’t hate Midichlorians. They’re just like atoms that stick to certain people and thats what gives them access to the force, it doens’t really change anything it’s just a scientific explination.
You know what.. During the middle of the film, Jar Jar keeps his mouth shut and just lets people get on with it, that’s alright.
How old is Obiwan supposed to be in this film?
A little more variation in these creepy ass gungans would be nice.
Damn the Viceroy and the other guy are huge or Maul is smol.
Love that Gungan dindgeridoo horn thing.
I also love the giant bubble shields.
Are they watching a Star Wars battle tactics pc game on that screen?
Fuck The Darth Maul fight is badass.
I don’t buy Anakin at all, he wants to fly out there and get involved, the little shit.
Quigon doesnt even flip when he jumps, he’s just like “I’m too old for this shit.”
Yeah R2 is like “Go back” and Anakins like “Naaa fuck that”... Tut tut. Boys gonna be trouble.
The way Maul stalks back and forth the other side of that barrier like a Sith Tiger.. Good shit.
Aaaaand Quigon is dead. RIP.
“Now This is Pod Racing.”.. It’s not though is it?
Nice to have something blow up and actually have debris instead of just all being gone completely.
Anddd there goes Maul to go get robot spider legs and then be found by his bro Savage.
Why do you wanna bring balance to the force anyway if it’s currently so one sided favouring the light side? Surely bringing balance is a bad thing at that point.
Yoda’s already soooo old.
Alright so they know there’s a Sith out there and the guy is still just like right next to them and they don’t know. Tut.
That Jedi behind Mace Windu at the end looks intimidating as shit.
Padme, he’s a kid, calm yourself down woman. You predator.
Alright.. Film done. 10/10 Best movie ever. Naa tbh I enjoy the prequels more than most, obviously if you’ve stuck with me this long you know that but it clearly has its flaws.. still.. I enjoyed it! Feel free to ask me my opinions on specific things if you want.  Also shamelessly gonna plug my two star wars muses Cal and Savage here, rp with me you cowards. Also I’m down to star wars verse any of my other characters, literally any of them, i have ideas for all.

In the Dracula au can we see tahl have to calm quigon down during one of his angry moods due to a village woman saying bad things about tahl. With tahl convincing him to make the woman a ghoul or have one of her kids become an indentured servant to obiwan?
The moment Qui-Gon’s eyes turned a bloody red, was the moment that Tahl realized that she had to take matters into her own hands. It would not do their family any good, if her dear husband would give in to his primal instincts and tear apart the foul and obviously jealous woman right in front of the whole village.
“Who do you think you are?” growled Qui-Gon in a voice that was frightening and affecting everyone and everything around him. Cat were hissing, with their claws out and dogs began to either bark in challenge and in protection of their owners, or they turned tail and hid. “Who gives you the right to judge MY wife the way you do?”
The woman was clearly terrified, but there was also something else in her gaze and aura that Tahl could not quite place. She had a good guess, but no proof.
“Dad,” Obi-Wan had jumped forward. He too was no stranger to his father’s dangerous side. As a young child - young is relative with him being a vampire - he had seen how his father and grandfather have teared apart a group of bandits that had not only threatened the village, but their family and status as well. It had been more of an accident really, because the redhead had not been supposed to follow the two older vampires, but Qui-Gon had forgotten something and as the sweet little boy that Obi-Wan usually was, he had just wanted to help.
“Not now, Obi-Wan,” it always surprised Tahl, how fast Qui-Gon could switch between angered and calm.
“On the contrary Qui-Gon,” Tahl had stepped forward now as well. A pair of blood red eyes landed on her and she took the moment to close the gap between them. Her husband was surprised at the kiss, but he did return it and Tahl counted that as a very good sign. “Don’t do it, she is not worth it,” she whispered for only the prince of vampires to hear.
A feral growl escaped the long haired man as he pulled away to turn to the woman. He mustered her for a few moments longer, right before his eyes turned to the blonde child at the woman’s side. The child had just appeared from the assembled crowd and was desperately clinging to the female’s dress. A predatory grin appeared on bearded features.
“Perhaps,” began the prince of the vampires, “it would do your family good to learn some respect and your place. Your boy,” he motioned to the blonde child, “he will come to the estate tomorrow, before the first ray of sun appears on the horizon. He shall serve my son and hopefully he learn from his mother’s mistakes.”
Shock and denial showed on the woman’s face and again there was something else. Tahl suddenly realized that it was disappointment, it was almost as if the female had WANTED the vampire to lose control.
“What if I refuse?” challenged the female.
“Then you and your family will be punished accordingly,” answered Qui-Gon in an ice cold voice. He finally turned away from the scene. “We are going.”
Obi-Wan jumped forward and took his father’s left hand to calm him down and Tahl took his right hand. Together the vampire family left, aware of the stares at their backs.
“It could have gone much worse,” observed the honey skinned bloodsucker almost neutral.
“Indeed,” agreed Qui-Gon.
“Why does he have to be my servant?” pouted Obi-Wan. The boy preferred to have his privacy. He was actually quite independent.
“It sprung to my mind. Besides, it might do you good to have a friend, even if it is a human boy,” said Qui-Gon. His son’s isolation was a thorn in his side and it was often a topic the father and son pair disagreed and fought on.
“Anakin, his name is Anakin,” said Obi-Wan and two pairs of eyes turned to him in surprise. The young vampire shrugged, “I make it my business to know everyone in the village, grandfather said it is important to. Still, I do not want him around me.”
“You will do as I say,” Qui-Gon replied, perhaps a little too harsh and Tahl wanted to interfere. She knew how sensitive her sweet boy could be, but before she could open her mouth, the redhead had pulled away.
There was a clear challenge in his blue-green eyes and there was also the faintest hint of red in their depths. Tahl shuddered. Obi-Wan had inherited his temper and strength from his father and the fact that his grandfather had fed him his own blood in the beginning - Obi-Wan had been terrible weak after he had been born and Yan had hoped that it helped - had probably done him good too.
“You have no right to tell me, who I befriend,” his voice was not far from growling. His posture was tense.
Qui-Gon, who was just as taken aback by the unusual challenge of his son, was too stunned to form a reply and the young vampire used the opportunity to shapeshift into his favorite form - a young fox - and quickly vanished from sight.
“Obi-Wan!” Qui-Gon was already on the move, but the honey skinned woman at his side kept a grip on his hand and made him turn his attention to her.
“Let him go, he needs time for himself now.”
“But-,” he was interrupted.
“Our son can take care of himself, he is no child anymore.”
“He is barely 160 years old,” protested Qui-Gon. He was overprotective and Obi-Wan was entering a phase in his life, where he both started to rebel and got even more independent.
“And therefore old enough to make his own decisions,” Tahl sighed. “We have to face it, Qui… our boy is growing up.”
Midnight blue eyes turned sad as they stared at the point, where Obi-Wan had vanished into the woods. “I know,” he sighed, “shall we?”
“After you,” and with that they returned to the estate, both thinking of passed memories…

Guys, I know how to fix the Phantom Menace!
Okay, so I hadn’t seen this movie since it was in theaters, and since the GM for our star wars RPG wasn’t going to be around for our regular session, we watched a movie together, I’ll admit, in a catty fashion. But listen, my friends, I’ve got a narrative fix that ties this whole thing up really nice.
Okay, so, on a basic level, once you exclude the WOW racist caricatures (those are so much worse than I remembered), the problem with the Phantom Menace is that you have 1. some unrelatable characters (and by this I mean warrior space monks with magic powers and an eerie sense of calm in tense situations) who 2. get into a series of events only loosely related to each other 3. in which many epic things happen without a lot of context or emotional consequence. The story is pulled in all kinds of different directions and you get a feel of a movie that doesn’t know what it wants to be.
The fix for the Phantom Menace, the one that requires you to change the least about the movie, but get something really good out of it, is:
You make Amidala the protagonist.
Check this out, she’s already THE ONLY character with both a dramatic and emotional arc (second place goes to Anakin who has emotional moments but no arc, third to Obiwan who gets to shout No from behind a force field). Three acts and everything- escape and hiding, attempting to go through proper channels, direct action. She’s the already the only character with clearly defined stakes in the story (she’s the queen of a planet that’s been invaded, her people are dying). She’s already the characters whose needs and actions drive all the major events.
Just make her the main character. Take elements that are mentioned in throwaway and make them real important things.
Picture this: rather than opening on the trade federation ship, we open on Naboo’s capital city. It’s sumptuous and spacey- like nothing we’ve seen in the main movies. We see a couple of Gungan emissaries (who look rustic and out of place) being turned away by a functionary because the queen has important business (we don’t just hear Jar Jar talk about Gungans being second class citizens; we see it). We use design elements to show a real distinction between the Naboo aesthetic and the federation ships that are menacing the city. Zoom into the queen’s chamber, where our villainous trade viceroy (with all the yellow peril grossness scraped off, pleased) is menacing our queen about how his faction will have this planet, and she will either sign over rights to what they want from her little garden world, or they will throw her off the throne and find someone who will (full on banana republic stuff. Make Amidala the Liliuokalani of space). She stands up to them of course, but we can tell she’s afraid. This is a young woman who’s lived her life in peace and plenty, surrounded by bodyguards and handmaidens. She’s not yet who she needs to be to stand up to these powerful galactic forces. We follow the trade federation as they walk out. One of the emissaries leans in to the viceroy and tells him the galactic chancellor has sent Jedi to negotiate. “Kill them,” says the viceroy.
Much of the story proceeds the same way, but in each case, we have a focal point character. In the same way in A New Hope we see the vastness of the galaxy through Luke’s inexperienced farm boy eyes, we see it in The Phantom Menace through Padme’s. That the jedi are space wizards isn’t just a thing we’re assumed to know going in, we see her reacting in awe and surprise and we as an audience share that, but, we also get a sense of their humanity when she interacts with them each. We see the casual cruelty on Tattooine through Padme and the connection she makes to Shmee and Anakin, even though they’re WAY outside of the social milieu she occupies. We tone down some of Jar Jar’s Stepin Fetchit nonsense and give him some honest moments of interacting with Padme where she has to question the way things are working on her own damn world. We really really wallow in her despair when she politically backstabs an old friend and ally to try to save her world and even that doesn’t work. We’re with her when she goes back a better, sadder, wiser person and forges an alliance with the Gungans to save their planet together.
That dark forces are moving behind the scenes, culminating in Maul killing Quigon and Palpatine ascending as supreme chancellor is a sub plot. That Anakin is weird and special is a subplot- though Padme needs to be the one who recognizes it in the most profound way- not just strong with the force, but special. She needs to give him some bit of advice, some bit of encouragement that he carries through; and why not? She’s a very young person who’s been granted tremendous power, but still feels like there’s so much unfairness she can’t change. It’s an opportunity for a really good conversation. He probably gives her some uncannily sage bit of advice as well that helps her on her course.
At first blush, this feels like it takes a lot of emphasis off the character who will become Darth Vader, BUT, not only is it structurally more sound, I feel like it narratively parallels the dynamic between New Hope and the rest of the original trilogy, in which Vader is an important but less complicated character who will later become the focal point of an emotional arc.
The cool thing that you ARE likely to lose is the visual trick of not always being able to tell who’s a queen and who’s a handmaiden. I think you end up with a much more explicit reveal on Tattooine. You could even, you know, have a nice Bechdel-passing moment between the queen and her handmaiden about Padme going out alone with the Jedi. That’d be fun.
Obviously, this is a fix that still requires a lot of rewriting, and a serious change of directorial emphasis (and, you know, these are really good actors, so how about we let them, you know, ACT from time to time), but it’s still recognizable as the Phantom Menace, and I really think it would work.
My two cents anyway.

Can we see in the Dracula au when tahl shares the big news with quigon and dooku on how she's pregnant with obiwan? Cue the two being happy for her and basically being nervous about the baby though?
@mostie01
Giddy, happy, excited and nervous, that pretty much summoned, how Tahl was currently feeling. It was overwhelming, yet the greatest experience in her life. And it was all too good to be true.
She had experienced a weird feeling in her stomach and on top of it all, she felt more nauseous the last few days. Qui-Gon had feared that it was the side effect of her transformation, but deep down, Tahl had known that it was something different. Yet, she had not expected for those news.
First thing in the morning, the honey skinned vampire had dressed and left eh warm and safe estate, to make her way to the small town in which she was raised. Her destiny had been the village wise woman. Who was better to ask for guidance than the wise woman after all. Legends had it, that she knew truly everything.
What the village wise woman had discovered, was the best news Tahl had ever received. It was her greatest dream come to life and there was nothing in the world, who could ruin it for her, not even the nervousness that was increasing with every step she took closer to the dining hall, where she knew her husband and her father in law were.
Out of habit, did the former village maiden, straighten her dress - though it was completely unnecessary - and then rested a hand on cold wood. Her other hand was nervously playing with a lock of hair that had cheekily escaped the bun. The female took a deep breath and entered the hall.
Yan was seating at his usual seat at the head of the large table, with Qui-Gon sitting to his right. The two older vampires were happily conversing with each other, but upon her entrance, the briefly stopped to wish her a ‘good morning’ and a small smile. She could not help but return it, not when she had such unexpected but delighted things to tell.
“You look lovely, my sweet rose… and you look happy too,” the ever observant long haired man pointed out. It touched the younger female that she had his undivided attention, even though she had undoubtedly interrupted a pretty important conversation between the two men.
“I am,” she laughed. Midnight blue eyes soften, they were full of love and Qui-Gon looked more like a love sick bat, than his usually regal self. Yan on the other hand, looked as formal and distant as ever, but Tahl knew better.
“Oh? And why is that, my dear?” he beckoned her closer, catching her hand in his and pulling her onto his lap so that he was able to kiss her more or less comfortably.
She cupped her man’s bearded face between her soft hands and her thumbs were stroking his high cheek bones on their own accords.
“Qui-Gon,” she breathed out, shivering with anticipation, “I was with the wise woman today… she confirmed that I am… that I am pregnant.”
His eyes went wide and for a moment, all his brain was capable of, was running that one sentence in his head over and over again. Eventually, he slowly closed his gaping mouth and before Tahl could say anything else to comfort him or to make him talk, had the long haired male risen from the chair, with his wife secure in his arms. He was spinning her around in delight, until they were both dizzy. But they did not care.
When the young couple had calmed down enough, Yan rose from his chair as well, but more gracefully and slower than his son had. “Congratulations, my dear daughter.” There was the hint of a smile on his features and for him it meant that he was wildly and openly grinning at the two eager and younger vampires.
Inside however, he was worried. He had heard often enough that the female of a vampire couple had gotten pregnant and had ‘suffered’ through nine months of pregnancy, only to bear a child that had never lived to begin with. The child had been born dead and its heart and never beaten before. He didn’t want that to happen to his children, they would both be devastated.
“Thank you,” Tahl returned his smile, before she turned her gold-green striped eyes back to her lover and husband. They both leaned in, until they shared a sweet and passionate kiss that Qui-Gon used to cover his own nervousness.
He was happy about the child and a little part of him hoped that it would be a boy, but he was also very much aware of the responsibility. He swore to take good care of the child, starting with this very day and to do so, he would have to take extra care of his lovely  wife. Not that he minded, quite the opposite actually.
“Oh Tahl,” he murmured against her soft lips, eyes closed and just savoring the moment. “Oh Tahl, I love you so much.”
“And I you, my dear husband,” Tahl whispered back.

Baby kitsune obiwan and quigon finally reconcile with lots of cuddles and fluff with mom tahl in the background?
@mostie01
“I am losing him, Tahl. And I don’t know what I can do to change that.”
The honey skinned Jedi had never seen her friend since childhood in such an emotional state. He was lying on his bed, yet it looked like he had not sleeping at all the last night. Also, it didn’t seem, as if he was going to leave his bed anytime soon. He looked like a beaten puppy, close to tears, yet unable to shed them. She didn’t need to be a genius, to know what was bothering him though.
In a gentle voice, she said, “Qui-Gon… you are certainly not going to make things better by falling into depression or by lying all day long in your bed. Have you even tried to talk to him?”
“Of course I have,” his tone was aggressive, but he finally had sat up, “But he won’t talk with me.”
Tahl remained calm. “No, Qui-Gon. I mean, have you actually TALKED with him? I don’t mean about your unfortunate situation, but about… it doesn’t matter about what. And if he does not answer you, or say something in return, than that is fine too. Remain calm and keep talking. He… I don’t know what actually happened between you two and what made Obi-Wan do, what he did. I only know that he is traumatized and NOT by the incident. Something was bothering him way before he was hit by that speeder.”
The long haired man sighed. “What could it be though?”
The honey skinned female shrugged, where she sat on the edge of the soft mattress. “What did he say to you again ‘what would be different’? Have you ever considered… that your protectiveness of him, might go too far, or that he does not understand. Your fox boy is still young, Qui, perhaps he thinks that you are ashamed of him and that you won’t allow him out because of this.”
As much as he hated to admit it, it WAS a possibility. Another heartfelt sigh escaped the male Jedi, he ran with his hand through his face and finally nodded. “I will take him to the garden, or the Fountain Room today, if the healers allow it that is. Perhaps that will cheer him up.” In his eyes raged a storm. “I don’t want to lose him.”
“I know,” she said softly. She patted his arm reassuringly and finally stood up, leaving and therefore giving her friend enough privacy to change and to collect his thoughts. Silently, she sent a quick prayer to the Force and hoped, that her friend would find his happiness again and that soon.
“Have I ever told you about the first time that I landed in the healer’s ward?” Qui-Gon had not expected an answer from the silent boy, who was slowly following behind him. It was a great accomplishment that he had even GOT the boy to go with him. He continued, “It had been a very stupid accident. Mace - believe it or not, he was a funny guy and a real troublemaker, before he got a seat on the Council - had dared me too climb the big tree that is still standing in the middle of the Fountain Room, guarding all Jedi and all that grows here. The challenge was not that hard and I had already won the dare, but Tahl had been present… and I was a young boy, trying to impress her. I fell, of course, and broke an arm and a leg.”
He chuckled fondly at the memory, even though his younger self would probably call him insane. In hindsight, he had truly been a idiotic Padawan. He should have known that it wouldn’t impress Tahl, hell, she had not even been looking, while he had climbed higher and higher.
“Needless to say, I got the biggest scolding in my life from my Master… after I was released from the healer’s wing, he forced me to sit in a corner in our quarters, for hours. I learnt the template of his wallpaper by heart… it had not been pleasant.”
“Was he… mad?” the question was an innocent whisper and Qui-Gon had to force himself not to stop and stare at the boy. he was sure that it would have scared the boy back into his secluded self again.
“He was furious,”  he shuddered at the memory. “I didn’t understand his ire and his punishments then, I was a reckless and mindless boy after all. But a few days later, something similar happened. Just… this time the Initiate was not as lucky as I had obviously been… and I suddenly realized that the reason for my Master’s reactions was the fact, that he cared about me, very much.” From the corner of his eyes, he saw Obi-Wan’s eyebrows furrow.
“What happened?”
He eventually DID stop walking, but just because they had reached the place he had wanted to go. They were now standing under the thick and large branches of the tree that had already been there when Yoda was a Padawan, at least that is what the green troll always said.
“He died,” he replied slowly, his gaze was distant. “He hit his head and all the arriving healers could do, was determining his death.”
“Why did he do it? I mean… after your accident?” he seemed in a good mood today and Qui-Gon silently thanked Tahl for that. He had a feeling that his best friend had been visiting Obi-Wan before he had.
“I don’t know. Perhaps he got bullied into it, perhaps he just wanted to show everyone that he was better than I was. But those are just assumptions. I truly cannot tell you the reason for his actions.” He hesitated, “Why does a being do, what it does? Sometimes, our actions do not seem to make any sense, sometimes they appear to be more harmful than actually helpful. Sometimes, we do something rash, without seeing the consequences and then we get a big surprise. And sometimes, it would have been better to talk first.”
He looked down at the ginger haired boy, whose face was still heavily bruised and who was also still recovering from his broken bones. Obi-Wan started to fidget under his scrutinizing gaze and he did not seem to want to say anything more on this matter. That was fine by him, he would give his kitsune a little time.
Qui-Gon turned away from his young charge again and moved towards the tree roots that peeked out of the ground. He let himself drop to the floor and leaned against the hard wood, tilting his head back and closing his eyes. He was glad that he had chosen this time of the day, when most young Jedi had classes and most adults were sparing. He was distantly aware of a pair of feet, their owner was limping slightly, coming hesitantly closer. He made no move to acknowledge Obi-Wan however.
“Will you punish me too?” asked the young fox demon eventually.
Surprised, Qui-Gon reopened his midnight blue eyes and gazed upon the uncomfortable looking ginger haired boy. Awkwardly, he cleared his throat. “Why do you ask.”
Obi-Wan shrugged, his gaze turning to his feet. “Tahl said you cared about me.”
“Ah,” he nodded in understanding, before taking a deep breath, releasing it through his nose. “I think… I think you have been punished enough… by your accident, I mean.”
Obi-Wan nodded slightly. “And the muzzle?” So it WAS bothering him after all.
“The Council can go to all nine Sith hells for all I care, I am not going to make your wear that… that…. thing, like an animal.” His outrage must have shown.
A pair of blue-green eyes gazed up, confusion and a tiny glimmer of hope in them. The young boy’s mouth was partly open, as if he wanted to say something, but didn’t know how to voice it. Qui-Gon remained patient and waited.
“Why not?” something told the long haired Jedi Master that this was the core of all their problems and something told him that his next words, were crucial.
“Obi-Wan,” his voice was serious, deadly serious, “you are NOT an animal. You may be a fox demon, but this doesn’t define you and you shouldn’t let it.”
Small hands turned into fists, “And why do you treat me like one?”
Qui-Gon blinked. He had seen the glittering tears that his boy had quickly hidden, by turning away. “What?” he was taken aback by the question.
“Why do you treat me like a monster, if that is not what I am?”
“How… How can you say that?” he jumped to his feet, intending to cover the distance between him and his distraught charge, but Obi-Wan wouldn’t allow it. He always took a step back, when Qui-Gon took one towards him.
“Why else would you not allow me to go out? Why else am I not allowed to have contact with anyone else? I am dangerous, aren’t I? I am a monster, an abnormality, that’s why you keep me in your quarters… that’s why you will never really love me!” to the end of his speech, Obi-Wan had gotten louder, until he was yelling. By now, there were also tears running down his bruised cheeks.
Suddenly, as if all strength had left him, the tall Jedi Master fell to his knees, his arms hanging useless at his sides. He looked at the boy before him with disbelieving eyes. “That is…” his voice was shaking, “That is not the reason why I wouldn’t allow you to leave. Is this truly what you believed?”
Obi-Wan nodded.
“Oh child,” this explained so much. He could not believe that he had made his boy think that he was a dangerous monster that needed to be kept imprisoned. “I am so sorry,” tears were now falling from his eyes too, he had hurt his boy so much. How could he ever hope of forgiveness and trust.
Obi-Wan was taken aback by the unusual outburst of the man before him. Never before had he seen his Daddy cry, never before had he seen him so broken and defeated. But before he could say and retort something, Qui-Gon was already talking again.
“I am sorry Obi-Wan. I had not realized… I should have known… I…”
“Daddy?” he whispered, still unsure what to make out of this.
The brown haired man had to close his eyes at what he was still called. He had still a chance, but this time, he needed to take it. “I thought you understood. Of course I don’t think you are a monster. And I didn’t want you to leave our quarters alone, because of what happened. You ARE different, there is no denying that, but different doesn’t necessarily mean something bad. I think you are beautiful, you have pure heart and I know that one day, you will become the best Jedi this Order has ever seen. But… but people tend to be afraid and sceptical, when things are concerned that they do not know. This is why the Initiates attacked you… I don’t you to get hurt, I just meant to protect you.”
The young kitsune was stunned by the emotional explanation. It made sense what his Daddy was saying. He HAD felt fear and anger and jealously from the boys, who had attacked him. Could it be true, did his Daddy truly not think him a monster? He decided to test it out and carefully, he took a few steps closer, until he was standing right in front of the still kneeling man. He too got to his knees. A pair of midnight blue eyes were watching him and there was a great sadness in them.
Qui-Gon noticed the return of that small spark of hope he had seen earlier. It had grown and it gave HIM hope too.
“Obi-Wan?”
The ginger haired fox demon leaned forward, until he was resting against the other’s chest. Then, he whispered, “I love you.” He held his breath, not daring to move and waiting for the older male’s reaction.
“I love you too, my little one,” a pair of strong arms wrapped around the kitsune. “More than anything else. I never meant to hurt you, you have to believe me?” Qui-Gon buried his nose in coppery hair. the boy smelled of healing wing, something he would change as soon as possible.
“I know,” and now, he truly did. Something between them snapped wide open in this moment and Obi-Wan was flooded, with what he identified as his Daddy’s emotions, mostly his love and his need to make it up to him.
He snuggled closer to the tall man and he allowed his tears of suppressed emotions to fall. A lot has built up the last few days and it needed to get out, it WANTED to get out, especially after such a revelation. Obi-Wan just wished he had known about his Daddy’s true intentions a lot sooner, it could have spared them both a lot of pain.
“We will be alright, my dear one, my little sunshine. We’ll be alright,” Qui-Gon was mumbling nonsense in his charge’s hair and he did not know if it was meant to assure him or his boy. It didn’t matter though, for Obi-Wan relaxed more and more against him.
After a while, the Jedi Master maneuvered himself and his little fox boy so, that he was once more leaning against the giant tree, with Obi-Wan comfortable on his lap. The boy seemed reluctant to let go, then again, Qui-Gon could completely understand him.
“Sleep,” he cooed, when he felt the young one’s tiredness over their bond, “I’ll be there.”
“Promise?” Obi-Wan yawned.
“I promise.” They were not completely done with talking yet, but at least the biggest misunderstanding was cleared. And finally, they were reunited again and now that they were, Qui-Gon would make sure that they would remain as such.

Vampire tahl and vampire quigon making sure their adopted vampire son obiwan doesn't do anything stupid. Like drain the village maidens dry.
I guess this prompt goes with the Dracula Au, so I just wanted to say that Obi-Wan isn’t adopted, he is the actual son of Qui-Gon and Tahl.
Enough of that, on with the story!
“Qui-Gon?” the male vampire in question hummed in acknowledgement, even though he did not look up from the book he was reading. It was about a land of mystery and a time of magic, with a young prince and a young sorceress. The story was gripping. “Where is Obi-Wan?”
The long haired male blinked a few times, his mind working to separate story from reality. “Excuse me?” he finally looked up at his standing wife, who had her hands on her hips and was looking down at him.
“Where is Obi-Wan?” she repeated, fully knowing that her husband was a passionate man, who easily got engrossed in the smallest of things.
“Oh,” the man cleared his throat. “I don’t actually know… I haven’t seen him since breakfast.” Realisation dawned upon him and he shut the book, not before marking the spot he currently was, and laid it on the small table nearby.
It was never a good sign, when there son had not been seen in quite a while. Obi-Wan was still very young and he had much to learn. Curious by nature, was the ginger haired boy and he usually came running to either his father or his mother to ask a million and one questions.
“Do you think he is in trouble?” Tahl already feared the worst. They were relatively new parents. Obi-Wan had the appearance of a six year old, when in truth, he was much older. It was different with vampire children, their bodies took longer to age.
“As I know him…” it was not like his little boy searched for trouble - even though he WAS quite adventurous - it was more like trouble was searching for him.
“Qui,” Tahl was worried and it showed. The older vampire acted out of instinct and pulled his honey skinned wife close towards him. It always astonished him that such a beautiful and wise person had actually agreed to become his wife, especially if you considered the start of their relationship.
“Let us keep calm. Where have you looked already?”
“I searched the whole castle and I sent a raven to your father, he has not taken Obi-Wan with him.”
Qui-Gon made a humming sound. His father was not one, who simply took Obi-Wan without asking, but that didn’t stop the ginger haired boy to sneak onto his carriage. It wouldn’t be the first time.
“Perhaps he went to the village?” he suggested. He did not know why he even suggested the village, it was just a feeling that he had gotten all of a sudden.
“Oh no,” Thal let her forehead drop onto Qui-Gon’s chest.
“What is it?” he was genuinely confused right now.
A pair of green-gold striped eyes locked with midnight blue ones. “He is after the village maidens.”
“Pardon? Isn’t he a little… young?”
Tahl grimaced. “After their blood you oaf,” she pulled away from her sometimes stupid husband and hurried out of the library. “He made a comment about how sweet their blood smelled.”
“Oh dear,” Qui-Gon hurried to keep up with the smaller female. It was clear that his son was referring to all the young virgins. Virgin blood was addicting to a vampire, like alcohol was for humans. “We have to hurry,” he said.
Once in the village - they had forgone taking a carriage because with vampire speed, they were much faster - the couple looked frantically around. The villagers were giving them strange and calculating looks, as if they would jump into actions any time. This thought was ridiculous. Both Qui-Gon AND Tahl, had never before drunk from someone, who was not willing. The same could not be said for Yan though-
“Where could he be?” Qui-Gon, who was towering over the crowd, had yet to see a hint of copper hair.
“Near the fountain perhaps, it is where the unwed women tend to meet, at least they did, when I was still one of them.”
Despite the dire situation - innocent women were in danger after all - Qui-Gon had to smile. His wedding day, was the best day of his life. “Then we shall head there.”
The bearded vampire was not as calm as he pretended to be. It was unusual for Obi-Wan to simply vanish. The boy usually was obedient, a little reckless every now and then, but obedient, when it truly mattered. Also, the boy had yet to actually drink from a living human being, let alone hunt one. Qui-Gon had no doubt that his son’s appearance would be enough to catch the attention of a village maiden, a six year old WAS sweet and cute after all, but what would happen then, made him worry. His son did not know when to stop yet, there was a high risk that he would either bite too deep, or suck too much blood from his victim. They had to hurry.
The worried parents were halfway to the market place, where also the fountain of the village was located, when Tahl suddenly stopped walking. It took Qui-Gon’s quick reaction to make him stop, otherwise he would have run right into his wife, undoubtedly they would have both landed on the muddy ground then.
“Qui-Gon, over there,” she pointed with her hand to another direction.
Blue eyes followed the pointing hand and it did not take long for him to spot the ginger haired brat, he called son. Red was a rather unusual color and that Obi-Wan had red hair was probably only due to the fact that his human grandfather had red hair too.
“Is that…?”
“My mother, yes.” Tahl answered calmly. All the fear and worry had all but evaporated from the female vampire and instead, she walked slowly forward, until she reached the bench, where her mother and her son were seated.
“Hi Mom,” Obi-Wan grinned and he literally flung himself into the honey skinned female’s arms.
“Obi-Wan,” a smile appeared on Tahl’s features and she pressed a kiss to her boy’s forehead, wight before a pair of strong arms engulfed them both in a tight hug.
“Dad,” the young vampire greeted his father.
“You have such a lovely boy, dearheart, I am glad you allowed him to come.” Tahl’s mother, an elderly woman, with skin just as dark as her daughter’s, stood up.
Tahl’s cheeks colored. “Oh yes,” she turned to her husband and under the pretense of kissing him, she whispered for only him to hear, “I forgot. Mother and father wrote a letter, asking if they could see their grandson… It must have slipped my mind.”
“No harm done,” Qui-Gon replied just as silent and he did lean in the rest of the way to share a real kiss with his wife.
“Eww,” Obi-Wan made a gagging sound and struggled until he was set down. Instead, he went to his grandmother’s side and eagerly grabbed her outstretched hand.
“Say, would you like to come for a cup of tea? I am sure your father would like to see you both as well.” Tendra, Tahl’s mother, asked before either of the vampires could say anything.
“Yes, please,” Tahl smiled brightly. Qui-Gon was left to blink. He still did not understand the ‘common folk’. They had not even exchanged greetings yet. But he shrugged it off and let himself be lead down the road they had just come from.
Obi-Wan was happily bouncing at the elder woman’s arm, telling her everything that sprung to his young mind. It was refreshing to watch him so open with anyone.
Qui-Gon silently scoffed and shook his head. And they had feared he would run around and drain all the village maidens dry… Well, perhaps they SHOULD have that talk in the near future, but for now, he should be left to bond with his grandparents.

What happens next after sith obiwan runs away do tahl and dooku return to find him missing obiwan and do they both go full blown Sith Lord and Lady on quigon with tahl being especially mad at anakin for being such a little scheisse?
It was very early in the morning, a time when people were usually still in their beds fast asleep. Qui-Gon Jinn was very much asleep, when the door to his home was silently and carefully opened. The two dark figures that entered, were careful not to make too much noise, so that they would not startle their family awake.
“I feel like a thief, even though this is my own home,” the shorter of the two dark figures whispered to her companion.
“Usually you do not have to secretly enter your home either, dear Tahl,” the man chuckled, but it was barely audible.
A grin appeared on the female’s features. “No, but this is not a usual occasion, is it?”
“No,” the older male agreed. “If you had told me about this plan of yours sooner, I would not have sent him his gift early.” He scolded, though there was still humor in his voice.
“Obi-Wan will still be happy to see you, you know that as well as I do.” Yan did not reply anything to that, but she could feel his agreement in the Force. Her son and her father in law had truly bonded, otherwise Dooku would not have giften the ginger haired Sith something valuable like a fully functioning lightsaber.
“I will wait here,” the older Sith eventually said, after they had taken off their travelling robes, as well as their dirty boots. Gracefully he seated himself on the couch, clearly enjoying the peace after a strenuous mission. It had been a surprise for the both of them that their mission had ended so soon and successfully, though certainly not unpleasant.
“Can I bring you something to eat or to drink perhaps?”
“No thank you,” there was a twinkling in his eyes. He knew very well that his daughter in law could not await seeing her little boy and he would certainly not keep her longer from her son than absolutely necessary.
“I’ll be back,” Tahl promised and despite her longing, she first went into the bedroom she shared with her husband.
Amused Tahl listened to his snoring, she had really missed him. Then, her eyes darted to the second bulge under the blankets and a big smile appeared on her features. On tiptoes, she moved forward, fully intending to surprise her little one, even though he technically was not little anymore.
The female Sith laid on the mattress, right behind one of the most important men in her life and she slowly pulled the blanket away. She could not even remember the last time Obi-Wan had come to his parent’s bed, the sweeter it was not.
“Obi-Wan,” she cooed, trying to coax him awake. “Dear one,” she nudged the body.
The snoring from Qui-Gon became irregular, a clear sign that he was on the verge of waking up. The smaller form on the bed did stir too.
“Come on, wake up,” she said, louder than before.
“Tahl?” a deep baritone voice said groggily. Its owner barely awake. He WAS pushing himself up into a sitting position at least.
Tahl too sat up and decided that enough was enough. With the aid of the Force, she pulled the blanket completely away from the bed’s two occupants. She was about to pounce on her birthday boy - though technically she was a few hours too late - only to freeze in shock.
“Qui-Gon Jinn,” he tone was stern and not at all amused. There was a dangerous edge to, that immediately caused for the male Sith to become fully awake in an instant. “What is the name of the Force is the meaning of this?”
“Tahl, love, let me explain.”
Anakin, who had been awoken by the voices above him, looked up with distrust at the strange and alien female who was talking with his father.
“For your sake I hope that it is a damn good explanation,” her voice was cold as ice.
Qui-Gon winced, he had hoped for things to go differently. Also, he had hoped that he would have a couple of more days to come up with a good explanation. “Well, Tahl, meet Anakin Skywalker, our new son. And Anakin, meet Tahl, my wife and-”
“What do you mean by ‘our new son’?” Tahl’s voice was raised, she was angry.
“You see, I have found Anakin a couple of days ago. He was a slave and I couldn’t just leave him behind. His midichlorian count…” once more he was interrupted.
“And why did you think it necessary to bring him HERE, without consulting with ME first? I thought that we have been through this already! And what about Obi-Wan?”
“What about him?” the older Sith was confused.
Meanwhile Yan Dooku had moved from the living room into the kitchen, not at all comfortable with listening to what appeared to be an ugly fight.
An angry sound escaped the female and without saying another word, she stood up and marched into the living room. She was distantly aware that her father in law had moved elsewhere. She took a deep breath. Knowing that her husband would follow her, but not willing to continue this pointless conversation. Who did he think they were? An orphanage? They had agreed that Obi-Wan would be an exception. She understood his desire for helping the helpless and pathetic lifeforms, but the fact that he simply adopted the strange boy and that he had not even TOLD her about it, that was making her angry.
With a shake of her head, the furious female decided that she needed her real boy for comfort now. With determined steps, she made her way towards Obi-Wan’s bedroom. If she was honest with herself, then she was a little worried that he had not appeared already. Clearly he must have heard the commotion by now?
With a flick of her wrist, the door silently opened. She could see that the room was completely dark. Upon entering, a startled gasp escaped Tahl and she immediately sunk to her knees, gasping and clutching her head. There was so much pain and hurt in the Force and the source of those emotions was clear. Her Obi-Wan had been hurt deeply, not physically, but emotionally. She delved deeper into the emotions and soon found the cause for them. There was anger at the ‘intruder’, which she could easily identify as Anakin. Abandonment and the feeling of been replaced were heavy in the Force too and then this intense sadness when he burnt the little Tooka. With another gasp, Tahl surfaced again. She was aware of the pair of strong hands on her shoulder. Had she not identified the owner as Yan, she would have lashed out then and there.
“Yan…” her voice was trembling. Tahl did not need to look, to see that the bed was empty, as well as the cupboards. She had seen and experienced that during her dive into the Force.
“I know,” his voice was heavy with emotions too. His expression was hard and his eyes angry.
“Where could he have gone?” she asked. That was the only thing that the Force had not shown her.
“I don’t know,” his expression darkened.
Two pairs of footsteps were approaching, one of them belonging to a small body and the other undeniable Qui-Gon Jinn, the last man in the galaxy that Tahl wanted to see.
“Yan? Tahl? What is the matter?”
“What is the matter?!” Tahl screamed. The oldest Sith in the room had wisely stepped away from the grieving mother. “Why don’t YOU tell me what the matter is?”
Confusion was written all over Qui-Gon’s features. “I don’t understand,” he tried to calm down his strangely behaving wife. He sent a questioning glance to his father in all but blood, but Dooku’s eyes were glaring at him with disappointment and shame.
“Tell me you damn bastard,” she had approached him and was clutching the collar of his shirt, bringing him down on eye level with her. Qui-Gon was perplexed to see that his wife’s eyes had turned yellow and were full of rage and even… hate. “Tell me where my son is?”
The bearded male opened his mouth, eyes blinking. “Obi-Wan?”
“Of course Obi-Wan, who else? I only have one son!” she screamed right into his face, ignoring the other two males that were present.
Meanwhile Anakin was eyeing the angry female with disdain. He had figured out that this was the woman, who was supposed to be his mother now. But Anakin would not except her, he HAD a mother, back on Tatooine.
Dooku was eyeing the youngest person in the room. There was something about the blond boy that unsettled him. He was dark, but different from them. It was clear to him that this boy was nothing like his grandson and he would never be.
“What do you mean by ‘where is he’? Isn’t he in his room?”
“No! Or do you think I would ask if he were?” she spat. “He is gone.” She shoved the larger male away from her, as if he weighted nothing. Tahl was trembling with barely restricted emotions. She could not believe what was happening. She had barely been a way for a couple of days and then she returned home and everything had gone to hell.
Yan put a comforting arm around the distraught female Sith. She leaned into the contact and clung onto his Force presence, as if it was the only thing that kept her from drowning.
“This is your fault,” the dark skinned Noorian had stopped shouting, but here voice was icy. Qui-Gon had never heard it like this.
“I don’t see how this is my fault,” Qui-Gon replied stubbornly. He had his arms crossed before his chest.
“Why does this not surprise me?” she replied sarcastically, but before he could say anything, she motioned towards the blond boy. “You’ve brought him and now Obi-Wan is gone. I hope you are satisfied now. And Prancer…” she choked and turned her back on her husband.
“We will find him.” It was Yan who had spoken. “Come,” he coaxed the female out of the room and away from the appalled long haired man and out into the cool air. Their robes and boots trailed after them, due to his use of the Force.
“I can’t believe,” she broke up again. The Noorian could simply not find the words to describe what she was feeling.
“You need to calm down,” Yan said gently. He avoided the topic for now, knowing that it would cause only more trouble. “We will find Obi-Wan, but first you need to calm down and you need rest.”
Tahl nodded and pushed her dark hair out of her face. Dooku notices that her gold-green striped eyes were wet and that first unbidden tears were escaping them. Usually the Sith Lord was not one for much physical contact - unless his grandson was concerned - but he embraced his daughter in law nevertheless. She immediately clung to the front of his tunics, her face hidden in his shoulder and sobs racking her whole body. It was a natural reaction. She was exhausted from the mission and the shock of Obi-Wan’s disappearance had caused this.
Yan could only shake his head at the idiocy of Qui-Gon. The man was so blind and dense sometimes. A fault he had never been able to train out of the taller male. And then there was this Skywalker boy. He did not like the boy, not one bit. In fact, if it were up to him, he would teach the boy a lesson or two after what he had done to his precious grandson. That little brat… he shook his head mentally. He could not lose his head now too, not when he was desperately needed.
“Let it out,” he stroked the dark skinned female’s back soothingly. She would feel drained after such an emotional outbreak, but also a lot better.
In the privacy of his mind, the Count wondered. “Obi-Wan, where are you?”

Vampire obiwan meets his parents with vampire quigon
“But Master, I don’t want to meet them,” Obi-Wan whined for the up-tenth time. It didn’t matter to him, that he and his Master were already on the transport that would bring them to Stewjon.
“Obi-Wan,” he sighed as if he had suffered through all Sith hells, “we talked about this. It is part of a Jedi’s training to get to know his place of birth and his family, so that you know your roots.”
“But I don’t want to know them,” he repeated, more urgent. “I’ve got you.” Ever changing blue-green eyes looked pleadingly up at him.
‘Force, give me strength’, Qui-Gon silently pleaded in the privacy of his mind. But as long as he would not use his ‘pouty bat face’, Qui-Gon was relatively safe. “Obi-Wan, we WILL go to Stewjon and you WILL meet your family, end of discussion.”
“Yes Master.”
Another sigh escaped the older vampire, when he saw the heartbroken look in his Padawan’s eyes. In a fluid movement, he went to his knees to be more on eye level with the young boy. He reached out with his right hand and gently cupped the ginger haired vampire’s face. “What is truly bothering you, dear one?”
Obi-Wan unconsciously bit his bottom lip and Qui-Gon used his thumb to make him stop. “I… I don’t want them to take me away.” He whispered.
The long haired man blinked. “Take you away? They can’t take you away.”
Violently Obi-Wan flinched away from the hand on his face. “Yeah, they can. I know it happened before. Parents can demand their children back… I don’t that to happen.” A blood red tear escaped his eye.
For a moment, the Jedi Master simply followed the blood tear’s trail and watched how it eventually dropped to the ground, before focusing on blue-green eyes again. “Padawan… dear one, they are not going to take you away. Neither I nor the temple will allow it.”
But the younger vampire was not looking at his Master. His gaze rested on the ground and his arms were protectively wrapped around him, as if he could shield himself from the rest of the galaxy.
“I will not allow them to take you,” he repeated more serious this time. “And you know why?”
“No…” was the hesitant reply.
“Because you are my little star and do you know what would happen to me, without my little star?”
“I don’t,” he had absolutely no idea, where this strange conversation was going. Though a warm feeling was taken a hold of his chest and it was expanding greatly.
A small smile graced bearded features. “I would lost my way, without my star illuminating the dark way ahead.”
“Master…” he did not know what to say to this. Instead he stepped towards the older man again and engulfed him in a hug, suddenly all fears forgotten.
A moment of silence passed between the Master Padawan pair, before Qui-Gon took the word again. “Though I don’t understand, where this thought had come from.” The heavy silence was answer enough. “It was Bruck Chun, wasn’t it?”
A hesitant nod against his chest was r enough. A deep growl escaped the older Jedi and his eyes turned red for a moment. This damn Initiate, he should have taught his some manners months again. But Qui-Gon pushed those feelings aside for now, instead he pulled away from his little bat boy and gently rubbed their noses together. He had no idea why, but it always made the younger vampire giggle and happy and he was not disappointed this time either.
“Forget that Initiate little one, he is just jealous and afraid.”
“Afraid? Of what?” the answer was innocent and genuinely curious.
“He is afraid of what is to come. He knew he has to be chosen soon and then he sees you, who was my Padawan every since you were three years old. he envies you for this, he envies you, because he knows that you are on the way to become a Jedi Knight and he is not.”
“But…” Obi-Wan began, “but he can still become one too.”
“Of course he can, his time is not yet over. But this is not the way Bruck sees it…” he let the sentence trail off.
“I understand,” and from the tone of his voice, he truly did.
Qui-Gon smiled gently at his young charge and then pulled him closer again, allowing the younger male to hide his face in the older man’s neck. For a vampire, it was the greatest show of trust, to allow another bloodsucker so close to your main artery in your neck. And Qui-Gon trusted Obi-Wan with his life, it was the same the other way around.
Obi-Wan was still nervous, when the ramp of their small transport ship lowered upon their arrival on Stewjon. He was not sure what to expect of his family, he had never once before had contact with them. Qui-Gon was right behind his Padawan, resting a heavy hand on small shoulders and encouraging him to go. A hesitant smile graced Obi-Wan’s young features and with new courage, he stepped down. He had to blink against the bright light a moment, but then his eyes adjusted and he was able to make out a couple of people standing nearby. Even from here, he could tell they were vampires.
“Go on Padawan,” Qui-Gon encouraged. Obi-Wan gave him a curt nod and then proceeded forward, head held high and looking like the proper Jedi he was learning to be.
Upon getting closer, Obi-Wan could make out three different people. It was undeniable who they were. His biological father, his mother and his brother. He knew at least that much. The ginger haired Padawan immediately took a liking to the blonde woman, whose eyes were so much like his. There was a sweet smile on her handsome face and her presence felt warm and inviting. His brother was harder to read. He was younger than Obi-Wan and his presence revealed curiosity and perhaps a hint of insecurity. The young Padawan was not sure about the copper haired man, who stood at his wife’s side. His aura seemed warm too, but there was something about him that made Obi-Wan feel unsure. He could not identify it, but it gave him a bad feeling.
“Obi-Wan?” the woman asked.
The Padawan nodded, “Obi-Wan Kenobi, at your service.” He bowed. “And this is my Master Qui-Gon Jinn.”
It was unusual for the Padawan to make the introductions, but Qui-Gon just went with it, he was that kind of guy.
The older Kenobi raised an eyebrow and he looked sceptical at the bearded Jedi. “So, you are my son’s teacher?” He crossed his arms over his chest and took a step forward. Despite him being a lot shorter than Qui-Gon, he got threateningly close.
“Indeed,” he was completely unfazed by the threat.
Obi-Wan furrowed his brow. Something told him that his biologic father might suspect that Qui-Gon was a human. He suspected that the Force had told him as much, though he could not be sure.
“Keith, dear,” the woman spoke up, “We have not even introduced ourselves. Let’s get home first, yes?”
Reluctantly, Keith Kenobi, turned away from the serene and calm looking Jedi Master. Obi-Wan wondered what it was that he had seen in his biological father’s eyes. Jealously, hate, disbelief or perhaps even arrogance. He was not sure. Whatever it was, it did not mean anything good, he was sure of that at least.
“Obi…” he felt a tug on his sleeve and found himself looking into familiar eyes. His little brother had apparently decided that he liked him. The young Padawan smiled at his younger sibling and took the offered hand in his. He had at least found one he could call family.
When Qui-Gon stepped behind his student, the Padawan’s brother looked up in awe. He pointed at the bearded Master and exclaimed, “Tall.”
An amused expression appeared on Qui-Gon’s features and Obi-Wan snickered. “He is, isn’t he.” His brother nodded. “Take good care of yourself and eat regularly, Owen and perhaps you get just as tall one day.” He did not even notice that he had used the name the Force had whispered right into his ear. It sounded natural.
“Promise,” the boy nodded and then tugged on Obi-Wan’s hand to get him to move. The Padawan did not need to be told twice…

Goddess satine getting Jedi padawan obiwan as a sacrifice due to her summoning with quigon finding them bound together. And satine joins them back at the temple
Obi-Wan silently asked himself, why it was always him and his Master that landed in these kind of situations. He never heard it from one of his fellow agemates that they and their Masters found themselves in this much trouble. if asked, Obi-Wan would definitely blame Qui-Gon Jinn for that, with his constant lecturing of ‘living in the here and now’, but he was rarely ask, which is why the ginger haired Jedi in training kept his opinion to himself. Also, he WAS glad that the long haired man was his Master and not one of the other rule loving ones. It was more fun this way and it certainly made their lives a lot more interesting, even if that meant landing in such a particular situation.
“Bring the sacrifice,” the tribe leader exclaimed and almost immediately, Obi-Wan found himself hauled to his feet and dragged away from his Master’s side. Qui-Gon, despite being bound and even gagged, tried to follow him, but it was to no avail, since their Force abilities had been drugged away. Obi-Wan was being led in front of the strange stature that was part human and part animal.
“Any last words?” the high priestess asked aloud. It was part of the ritual. Usually a willing sacrifice would not say anything, just simply and quietly accept his or her fate, but Obi-Wan was not willing. It was only due to a stupid misunderstanding that he was now made to be the sacrifice for these peoples’ goddess. A misunderstanding that could have happened anybody, which is why he was not blaming Qui-Gon, not at all.
“Yes,” he said confident and a murmur went through the crowd. The ginger haired Padawan turned as far as he was allowed, his eyes making contact with Qui-Gon’s. The man looked like he was suffering through eternal pain, his eyes were pleading and he was still struggling. “Thank you Master, for everything you have taught me. I could not have asked for a better teacher, a better companion and… and a better father.” It was not a very Jedi like thing to say, but since he was about to be killed, he said it nevertheless.
Under the deep grief and regret that was bright in Qui-Gon’s dark blue eyes, was love and Obi-Wan knew, that his feelings were returned. He knew that the older Jedi would do anything to change places with his Padawan, he knew that the bearded man wanted to do anything to turn back time. But it was not the Jedi way to crave for the impossible.
“Just… just remember to live in the present Master. Don’t forget me and… and promise me you will take on another Padawan. Promise me you won’t throw your life away, keep going and remember that I will watch you from the Force.”
Qui-Gon nodded, his gaze was shadowed, but the twenty years old man was calmed by the unvoiced promise the older male was giving. There was no doubt. Qui-Gon would grief and he would grief long and deeply, but then he would move on. He had made this promise after all.
“Very well, let the ritual continue,” the high priestess finally said, when it was clear that the young Jedi had said anything he wanted and needed to say.
The eagerness to the peoples’ faces returned. They were more than ready to call upon their goddess so that their dispute the the rivaling tribe would finally come to an end. Obi-Wan was no fool. He knew that they were asking for help in the war that would come, they were asking the goddess’ for help and that not many of them might fall, while their enemies shall be destroyed. He could only shook his head at such mentality and he could not understand how any ethereal being would just go along with it.
Two more people stepped behind the Padawan. One of them pushed him down, so that his head was bowed. The second person held a bowl under his neck. The sacred priestess would cut open the main artery in his neck, his blood or his life essence as they called it, would be captured in the large bowl and then placed in the statures lap. If the goddess accepted the sacrifice, she would show herself or the blood would turn to water, if not, a hundred years of misery would fall upon the tribe. At least that is what they believed in. Obi-Wan himself was not so sure about all of this.
The high priestess stepped close now too. She was saying something that Obi-Wan could not understand, he was too focused on the cold metal that was pressed against the delicate skin of his throat. He shut his eyes closed and took a few deep breaths to calm himself. He would die a Jedi, not as a coward.
With a loud shout, the priestess’ speech came to an end and Obi-Wan knew that this would be his last seconds in the galaxy, when suddenly, the knife was withdrawn, as well as the hands that had pushed him down. Confused, he straightened and found himself gazing at a beautiful blonde woman in a sea blue dress. It was clear that she did not belong to the tribe. The tribe people’s hair was dark and their skin was not as creamy, nor did they wear such beautiful clothes. No, she definitely did not belong to them.
“Enough,” was everything the unknown woman said. She did not even say it out aloud, it was more like a whisper really, but everybody obeyed. To the Padawan’s surprise, did the tribe people even kneel down with their foreheads touching the ground. “You shall not sacrifice this man to me, nor shall you fight in an unnecessary war. Life is precious and as the goddess of piece and NOT of war, I will not allow you to kill another in my name or with my approval.”
She cut through the ropes that had bound Obi-Wan’s hands behind his back. He spared her a last look, before rushing to his Master’s side, unfastening his bonds as well.
“Padawan,” Qui-Gon breathed out and as soon as as his arms were free, he engulfed the younger male into a tight hug.
“Master,” replied Obi-Wan. He was distantly aware that the blonde female had approached them and even though it was quite rude, he ignored her in favor of his distraught Master.
“You have a bond… a bond whose kind I have never seen before,” the ethereal being said, catching the two Jedis’ attention.
“Indeed,” mumbled Qui-Gon, he would not let go of his student, “You have my deepest gratitude, your highness, for saving my student.”
“I can see that you care for him deeply. Your pulsating connection has caught my attention just in time,” she went on. “Tell me your names, strangers.”
“My name is Qui-Gon Jinn and this is Obi-Wan Kenobi, we are Jedi Knights of the Republic. We are at your service.”
The blonde inclined her head in acknowledgement. “Satine Kryze, goddess of peace and harmony, as you might have known. Your bravery serves you well young Jedi,” the last part was directed at Obi-Wan, who thought that she did not exactly look much older than he was, in fact, she looked a little younger. “I have to admit that you made me curious. Is every Jedi like you, brave and pure… and do every Master-Padawan pairs share such an extraordinary bond?”
“Well,” Qui-Gon began, but he was interrupted by his Padawan.
“You could figure it out for yourself.” He was not sure what made him say it, perhaps it was the Force, but he suddenly deemed it a great idea to invite the entity to their Jedi temple. Qui-Gon did not seem bothered by his student’s uncharacteristic interruption and decided to just roll with it.
“Yes,” the goddess eventually said after she had thought about the offer, “I shall join you.” With that, she turned back towards the suspiciously silent tribe. From her posture it was clear that she was not quite done with them, but the two Jedi decided that it might be better, if they just went to a more… private place.
“Come Padawan,” Qui-Gon said gently and helped the ginger haired man up to his feet.
“Yes Master,” Obi-Wan dutifully replied and then, they left, knowing that the blond goddess would find them later.

Does obiwan ever find out about the deal quigon made with demon tahl? And if he does what's his reaction?
@mostie01
Obi-Wan remembered dying, he remembered being in his Master’s arms and dying. he remembered the usually strong blue eyes fill with tears and he could see the pain and suffering on the older man’s face. He had felt the Force reaching for him, embracing it in its warmth and Obi-Wan knew than and there, that he was supposed to join the afterlife, or the Force, or whatever you wanted to call it. But it never happened. Instead, he was sitting on his bed in his transport, thinking about hard about what might have happened.
Qui-Gon had assured him after waking that he had used the Force to anchor him, until his wounds were taken care of by the droids on their transport. Obi-Wan did not believe him. And there was something about the other male’s aura that irked him, it was undeniable dark. But of one thing, Obi-Wan Kenobi was absolutely sure, the darkness did not belong to his Master.
Ever changing blue-green eyes looked over the sleeping man. It was unusual for Qui-Gon to be in such a deep sleep while they were away from the secure temple, usually he could be awoken with the briefest of movements or the slightest of noises. Not this time and it only served to inflame the Padawan’s suspicion. Something had happened… and he wanted to know what.
Without thinking much about it, Obi-Wan pulled the covers off of his body and silently slid out of his bed. He moved forward, careful not to be too loud or too hasty. Maybe Qui-Gon was sleeping deeply, but he did not want to try his luck. Even though he technically did not believe in luck. He was a Jedi in training still, but he was a Jedi and Jedi did not believe in luck. They believed in the Force and the Force currently told the ginger haired Padawan, that he had to make this discovery. And who was he to deny the will of the Force?
With a shaking hand, Obi-Wan reached out, to where the Force was directing him. He took a hold of the older man’s collar and pushed it aside, to reveal what rested beneath. A surprised gasp escaped the Padawan and startled, he stumbled a few steps away from the sleeping man, who grumbled a bit, before turning onto his back. He did not wake though.
Obi-Wan was now shaking all over and he slowly got to his knees, his hands held against his chest. There was a black mark on his Master’s collarbone, a black circle with an equally dark pentagon in it. He knew what that meant, he had a special curse for other planet’s religion and mythology. And he was also one hundred percent sure that the mark had not been there at the start of the mission. He knew, he had bandaged his teacher’s chest during the mission.
The Padawan was going to be sick and he quickly got to his feet and ran as fast as he could, towards the fresher, where he emptied the content of his stomach. He felt hot tears prickling in his eyes and it was not long, before the first sob escaped his lips and the salty drops fell down his cheek. His Master had made a deal with a demon to safe him.
“Obi-Wan?” a sleepy voice asked, but as soon as the long haired man’s deep blue eyes came to rest on the state of his Padawan, he was wide awake. “Padawan, what is it?”
He reached out to the distraught boy, but Obi-Wan just flinched away from him and shook his head. He blamed himself for his Master’s fate.
“Padawan,” there was hurt in the older man’s eyes, as well as confusion and worry. Of course there was, he did not know that Obi-Wan had discovered his dark secret and perhaps it was better this way.
The Padawan closed his eyes, he could not take looking at his mentor right now. Who knew what he had offered for his life, perhaps his soul, perhaps his service or something else entirely? Obi-Wan didn’t know and he was not sure that he wanted to know. He only thought that it was wrong and that it was his fault his Master had made the deal.
“You have to calm down Padawan, everything is alright. Were you having a nightmare? You know the mission is over, yes? And you are not dead, neither am I. I am here Padawan, talk to me.” His voice was pleading, but he did not reach out again, at least a small mercy to the younger Jedi.
In truth, the Master’s words only made it worse for Obi-Wan, but he had decided to calm down, he NEEDED to calm down so that he would not go insane. So instead of letting his mind wander, he shut out all emotions and memories and succumbed to the sweet and alluring melody that was the Force, hoping to find some peace there. And he did, it was not as much as he had hoped, but it would be enough for now. It was certainly enough for him to face his Master again.
The worry was still etched on bearded features, but in midnight blue eyes shone also pride at the control Obi-Wan had just showed.
“That’s it Obi-Wan,” he reached out again, but stopped himself from touching the distraught boy. Qui-Gon had decided to let Obi-Wan decide, if he wanted or needed physical reassurance.
For a moment blue-green eyes just stared at the outstretched hand, then his eyes turned to the friendly face of his Master. He made his decision in an instant. He forewent the hand and simply cuddled in the other’s muscled chest, hiding his face in the man’s neck, where the mark was NOT. If Qui-Gon was surprised by the sudden show of affection, then he did not let it show or stop him from returning the hug. He wrapped his arms around the smaller being.
“DO you want to talk about it now?” He asked gently, his voice barely above a whisper.
Obi-Wan shook his head. What could he say without revealing that he knew the older male’s secret?
“Was it… was it a nightmare?” the questioning continued.
This time Obi-Wan hesitated before nodding. In a way, it is a nightmare, a nightmare come to life that is.
“Alright,” the embrace tightened, “was it about the mission?”
Again Obi-Wan nodded and the Padawan decided then and there that this was the farthest he would go with his answers. Apparently, Qui-Gon felt the reluctance of his Padawan and the desire to stop, for he did not continue. Instead. he got to his feet, with the boy still in his arms, and went back to his previously abandoned bed, where he first laid down Obi-Wan and then himself. The sheets and blankets were still warm and he hoped the ginger haired boy would find comfort here.
“We should sleep, we both need the energy.”
“Yes Master,” it was the first he had said, since he had awoken, but it seemed to calm down the Master’s worry. In this case it was worth it.
Exhausted and not willing to think about the mark that seemed to taunt him even now, haunting him with its image, he closed his eyes. He felt the older male shift a little, the mattress sinking and raising with his movement, until he had found a comfortable position to sleep in. It did not take long for Qui-Gon to fall asleep again, with his Padawan pretending to have fallen asleep already. Needless to say, Obi-Wan laid long awake this night…

Obiwan somehow ended up as Palpatine's son... and instead of Obi being raised as dark he kind of influenced the sith to use his powers to create a better galaxy. Obi knows Quigon and Anakin... 😃
“I cannot believe you sent Maul to Naboo after all,” the ginger haired male’s voice was calm and collected, but it made it even worse. His father knew of the hidden temper behind his calm and serene facade.
“Well, to my defense, he was not supposed to engage the Jedi or interfere in any way…”
The angry look Obi-Wan sent him, made Sheev flinch. He was just lucky that the blue-green eyes had not yet changed into a golden color, otherwise the newly elected Chancellor would be in real trouble.
“That makes everything so much better of course,” thundered the young man and he paced his father’s office. He couldn’t believe it. They had worked so hard to come this far, to make his father become the Chancellor in order to show the galaxy that the Sith were indeed able to change and be good and that idiot Maul had most likely ruined it.
“He didn’t kill Jinn, did he?”
“No,” he turned to his father, who was fidgeting uncomfortable on the chair, “and neither Anakin. Honestly, you should have dumped that idiot years ago, I never understood why you took him under your wing in the first place.”
“He was promising…” Sheev mumbled and cowered a little when his son’s eyes began to turn color.
“Promising? His plan was to kill you and take your place!” he shouted, “It was good that I was trained before I could walk, otherwise he would most likely have used me to get to you.”
The older male sighed and tiredly rubbed his eyes, “What do you suggest what we do now?” He did not want to have THAT argument again, not now.
“The only option that is left,” spoke the young Sith Lord, “I will go to the Jedi and ask for an audience before the Council. They will grant it, since you are the Chancellor and I am a Senator. I will reveal myself and if things go bad… well, you can always pretend that you were under my influence.”
“But…” he wanted to protest. He couldn’t allow his son, his only child, to go into the lion’s den.
“Enough,” his voice held no room for argument, “this is your fault and I will take the responsibility for it. Besides, the Jedi know me… if they decide to…. to punish me, then their sentence will be mildly.”
Sheev sighed in defeat, “Obi-Wan…” the ginger haired male turned back to him, Obi-Wan had been about to leave his father’s office, “may the Force be with you.”
He bowed out of respect and love, “And with you father,” with that, he left the Senate building in order to contact the Jedi Council.
“Master Jinn!” Obi-Wan yelled over the whole hallway, catching the attention of the tall and long haired Jedi Master.
Midnight blue eyes lit up, upon spotting him. “Obi-Wan,” the man smiled and allowed the smaller male to hug him. He could not hide the pained wince however and the Chancellor’s son pulled away in worry.
“Master Jinn, are you hurt?” of course he was worried. He knew the man almost his whole life.
Back, when Darth Plagueis had found out about him and sent bounty hunters after him, his father had asked for the Jedi’s help. Qui-Gon Jinn and his previous Padawan Xanatos Du’Crion - which Obi-Wan had killed, but that was another story entirely - had been sent to function as his bodyguards while Obi-Wan’s father was ‘working’ on another planet. In truth had Darth Sidious searched out his old Master and killed him. But before he had been able to locate him, Obi-Wan Kenobi - who had been named after his mother - had spent years in the tall Jedi’s company. He had learned a lot from Qui-Gon and they had eventually formed a strong bond. More than ones had Qui-Gon requested that Sheev would give his son to the Jedi, but every time his request had been refused. It had not stopped him from visiting the ginger haired male constantly and on a regular basis however.
Qui-Gon took a deep breath, “First, how often to I have to remind you to call me Qui-Gon and second… you heard about the incident on Naboo have you not?”
“At least one more time Qui-Gon, as usual, I am a Senator after all,” the last part earned him an amused look, “And I heard about Naboo and the Zabrak.”
“The Sith,” a new and much younger voice suddenly cut in.
“Anakin,” Obi-Wan greeted the boy and crouched down to allow the blonde to hug him. Anakin had immediately taken a liking to him when he had briefly visited the new Chancellor with the queen of Naboo. Then again, it could very well be, because the ginger haired male had saved the young whirlwind from an hour of mindless discussions.
“Obi-Wan, I mean Senator Kenobi, look!” the young Skywalker exclaimed enthusiastically and presented the young politician his new braid.
“Oh my,” Obi-Wan gasped and his eyes darted to Qui-Gon for the briefest of seconds, “Congratulations Padawan Skywalker.”
The boy laughed, “But please, you have to keep calling me Anakin alright?”
“Only if you keep calling me Obi-Wan.”
“Deal!” the child was literally bouncing on his feet.
Amused did the Sith in disguise rise to his feet again. He had seen the rueful look in the older Jedi’s eyes and Obi-Wan knew that the Master was thinking about the apprenticeship they could have had. It was not supposed to be though, the Force had had other plans with the young Sith.
“What brings you here Obi-Wan?” the long haired male eventually asked, but there was only curiosity in his voice.
“Ah. I had asked for an audience before the Jedi Council concerning the Sith… would you like to come and attend as well?” he did not know where this thought had come from, but he suspected that the Force was somehow behind it.
Qui-Gon blinked it surprise. “I would like to very much,” he really did. Every new information that could led them closer to the remaining Sith, was good.
“Come along then,” he was already six steps ahead, when he noticed the pained way Qui-Gon was moving. One of his large hands rested on his abdomen. Immediately the young Senator rushed back to his friend in concern.
“Obi-Wan,” Qui-Gon laughed despite the pain. “You deem it ‘uncivilised’ and inappropriate to call me ‘Qui-Gon’ in public, but now you want to undress me in the middle of the Jedi temple?”
Obi-Wan did NOT flush, but he had indeed lifted parts of the Jedi’s tunic to check on the Master. Of course he had heard about the wound that Maul had inflicted and he just wanted to check and reassure himself. Had he known that Maul would simply freak out and attack Qui-Gon, then he would have killed the damn Zabrak himself.
He let out a sympathetic hiss at the sight of the burned flesh. The Zabrak had not impaled him - thank the Force for small mercies - but the wound had still been life threathenig. For a moment the young Sith hesitated, but then he threw all caution out of the window and carefully rested his hand on the injury and he sent healing energy through his fingers into the Jedi’s body. Qui-Gon took a few shaky breaths at the contact, but he quickly calmed down again, when the pain lessened thanks to the younger male’s effort.
He looked down at his young friend in shock and thought silently to himself that it was really a shame that Sheev Palpatine had not given his son into Qui-Gon’s care. He just KNEW that they could have become a great team and that the ginger haired Senator would have made a great Knight, most likely one of the best the Jedi Order had seen in the last hundred years.
“Thank you,” he pushed his long hair out of his face and helped the young and seemingly unashamed Senator to bring his tunics back into order.
Obi-Wan shook his head, “No, thank you.”
They both meant so much more with those two words, but they did not need to say more to understand each other. With a last glance did the three males make their way towards the Council chamber. It didn’t matter that Obi-Wan was a few minutes too late, that was not unusual, not when Qui-Gon was in the temple and the Council knew that and tolerated it with a healthy amount of humor.
Meanwhile Obi-Wan was hiding his fear and anxiety behind carefully crafted shields. He feared what was about to come, but he feared less for the Council’s decision concerning him, but was more afraid of what Qui-Gon would think of him afterwards. He took a shaky breath, but then held his head high.
The Force is with him, he is the son of the current Chancellor and of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, he did not have to fear anything, right?

Could we have a female gorgon obiwan struggling to control her powers with gorgon dad quigon helping her?
Obi-Wan cowered in herself when she heard a pair of footsteps approaching her hiding place. She had pulled her knees close to her chest and had buried her face into her knees, so that nobody would be able to look her in her eyes. She did not want to hurt anyone. The snakes that made up her hair, were in distress too, they reacted to her emotions, another fault of her.
The footesteps came closer until they suddenly just stopped completely. Obi-Wan did not look however, she did not want to accidentally turn someone into stone.
The steps were replaced by a loud dragging sound, it sounded as if a huge object or body was moved over the ground. But again, Obi-Wan made no move to look. She simply stayed where she was and wallowed in her own misery.
When something touched her head and therefore her snakes, that were surprisingly calm at the touch, she flinched violently. Then the unknown thing was wrapping itself tightly around her and Obi-Wan finally knew what was going on. With teary eyes did she look up, right into midnight blue eyes that could quickly change into yellow ones, when her Master was using his power.
“M…Master,” she whispered, but the older Gorgon shook his head and tightened his snake body around her, comforting her in their own special way.
“Hush dear,” he wrapped his claws carefully around Obi-Wan’s trembling shoulders, his snake hair snuggling with Obi-Wan’s, when the Jedi Master laid his head on top of hers. “Everything is going to be alright, I am here now.”How could she have ever doubted the man to make it all better? Qui-Gon Jinn had just a way of making her feel loved and cherished.
“I am sorry… I didn’t mean to…” the young Padawan could not finish her sentence, instead she looked down in shame. It was true, she had not meant to lose control of her form, her human disguise. And the worst part was, that she did not even know, how much her classmates and teacher had seen, how many would be able to make the connection.
“It doesn’t matter,” he sounded genuine and Obi-Wan just HAD to believe his words. “Can you fully turn?”
Blue-green eyes closed automatically and the young female reached for the hidden beast inside of her. She could feel the shifting in her body, as soon as she concentrated hard enough. Her legs were growing together and turning into a snake’s body and tail. Scales were forming on her hips and shoulders, a natural protection, and her hands turned into claws. Usually, her teeth would have sharpened too and partly growing longer, but she was a mere teenager, her body was still developing.
“Very good, my little worm,” the Jedi Master chuckled. His form was perfect, of course it was, he was much older than his young ward was. He was even able to move the scales on his upper body that was designed like a human’s, to form a protecting armor that would even help against lightsabers.
A small smiled appeared on the female’s features at the use of her nickname. Their lower bodies were slightly wrapping around each other in a form of belonging and love. They were a family, of course they were. All Gorgons were more or less family. What else could they do? Their kind was not really liked in the galaxy, actually it was either hunted and killed for sport, or in hatred. Both not happy endings and not an ending that Obi-Wan was looking for, which is why she and her Master had to hide their true form. Otherwise they would undoubtedly be thrown out of the temple.
“What DID break your concentration, young one?” the deep baritone voice asked gently.
“Bruck,” Obi-Wan simply answered. The white haired Initiate had a talent for getting her into a lot of trouble, even though she had been innocent.
A low growl escaped the older Gorgon and for a moment, his eyes shone yellow. The Padawan knew that her Master would hurt or worse, KILL Bruck, if he could that is.
“I am sorry I lost control,” she repeated, “and… and I don’t know if anyone has seen…” she let the sentence trail off.
His emotions calmed down again and therefore his hair did too. “Don’t worry, my little worm, nobody made the connection. You were quick thinking and fast on your feet.”
She nodded against his muscled chest and buried her face against his neck, allowing his long hair to caress her. “That’s good,” what else could she way? She was just glad that she had not ruined both their lives.
After a while the Gorgon Master spoke up again. “We should return to our quarters, before they come looking for us. We should meditate there and I will teach you, how you can keep your control, even when greatly distracted. Don’t worry, dear one, we make a pretty Gorgon lady out of you yet.”
Obi-Wan smiled and allowed the taller male to pull her up too. She did not let go of his hands.

Prompt quigon adopts a stray which turns out to be a kitsune named obiwan who has imprinted him as his dad and quigon wishes he never picked up the small red fox again
It was abeautiful day, the sun stood high on the cloudless sky, but it was not toowarm. It was the perfect temperature for a little stroll through the fields ofStewjon, where Qui-Gon was currently stationed. He had been sent here on a negotiationmission, but the negotiation had run so smoothly, that they were alreadyfinished. The long haired Jedi was only expected back at the temple in twoweeks time, the travel there would take a few days at most, which is why hedecided to take a small time-out from temple duties and from being a Jedi.
Qui-Gonstretched his muscles, he enjoyed the few days rest and he enjoyed therelatively untouched and untamed nature of the small planet. He was a Master ofthe Living Force after all and as such, he enjoyed the wild nature very much.In all honesty, he often felt encaged by the city planet Coruscant, that wasruled by technology alone. Metal and technology… his biggest enemies. Though hewould never openly admit that, he was too proud for that.
A whimpersuddenly caught the tall Jedi’s attention. Qui-Gon’s head snapped around tosearch for its source. Slowly did he make his way forward, following the smallsound of an unknown animal. Qui-Gon did not know WHAT would await him, he just knewthat it was not dangerous, the Force told him this.
Eventuallythe tall Jedi came to a partly hidden path that led from a pasture to a forest,he ducked to avoid the low hanging branches. What he found there, made him stopand reevaluate the people living nearby.
A greentrap, constructed for capturing animals alive, stood only a few meters beforehim on the muddy ground. The trap looked as if it had not seen its owner inquite some time and the small being inside, must have been trapped for days. Itwas only skin and bones and its whimpers were miserable.
Withoutthinking about it, did Qui-Gon kneel down, not caring that he was dirtying hisclothes with mud. He carefully reached out and pushed a single finger betweenthe rusty grid, offering it to the small animal that he could now identify as astarving fox. The young fox cowered as far away from him as the cage allowed. Qui-Gondidn’t mind, he just sat in complete silence, not moving a single muscle andnot directly looking at the puppy. He waited for the fox to react.
Young andscared as the fox was, he was still curious and adventurous too. It took him afew tries, but eventually a dry nose poked against the offered finger, beforelittle yet sharp teeth nibbled at the digit. Qui-Gon chuckled and retreated hisfinger and instead of it, he offered the hungry being a ration bar. It was notmuch and it certainly did not taste very well, but it was better than nothing, especially if one had not eaten in days. The fox seemed to think so too, for hefirst sniffed at the food, then hit it with one of his paws and finally took abite. The fox actually grimaced and shook in disgust.
“It isbetter than nothing little one,” said the Jedi Master. The fox’s ears peeked upand blue-green eyes looked expectedly at him.
Qui-Gondeemed it safe to open the cage now. It was not as easy as he had thought. Thewhole cage was rusty and he did not want to hurt or scare the small being anymore than it already was. Though it seemed relatively relaxed now, with Qui-Gon’scalming Force suggestion, otherwise it would not eat in front of him.
Finally oneside was open and with the Force, the Jedi made sure it STAYED open. The fox,who had eaten its meal by now, eyed the portal to his freedom with weary eyes.
“Come now,it’s alright,” Qui-Gon tried to assure and he sent another calming suggestion tothe poor thing.
The foxstarted to crawl forward, dragging his left hind leg after him. The Jediwondered if it was broken. Were that the case, then he would have to bring thesmall being with him to the temple as soon as possible. Healer Vokara Che –despite her often frightening appearance – had a weak spot for helpless animalsand she would undoubtedly help Qui-Gon’s knew friend.
Once out,the small being was carefully lifted up in one of the Jedi’s large hands. Itrolled itself into a tight ball, his not so furry tail hiding most of hissnout. Qui-Gon was surprised that the fox fitted into his hand, he was so smalland so thin.
“Poorthing,” he cowed and gently patted the small head. The effect was immediately.Sad blue-green eyes lit up, the fox barked at the tall man and turned on itsback, legs in the air. Qui-Gon laughed at the little one and began stroking thedirty tummy with his forefinger. Immediately the animal began to squirm indelight and its forelegs moved as if he was running, all the while the littleon was making delighted and satisfied purring sounds.
“Let’s getyou somewhere nice and warm, shall we?” without waiting for an answer, did theJedi Master stand up to his full height, making sure his new companions wassecure in his hands. He should not have worried. The dirty fox was snuggled asclose against him as possible and he seemed content to stay this way. Qui-Gonwas fine with that.
Qui-Gon wasglad when his head hit his pillow. The day had turned into a complete mess assoon as he had arrived back at the council building, where the negotiation hadtaken place and where he had been assigned his own personal quarters. Thepeople, staff as well as senators and politicians, had not taken it very well, when he had arrived with the small animal. They had called it ‘uncivilized’, ‘dirty’and ‘wild’. Qui-Gon had almost lost it then and there. How could such friendlypeople be so cruel to something so innocent and small? Did they not see thatthe little fox needed medical attention? Did they not see that the small animalwas completely harmless, just starved, thirsty and in need of someone, whowould take care of him?
The Mastercould only shake his head at the nerve of these people. In the end, he had goneinto his terrifying Jedi Master mode and stared them down, until they had lethim pass into his quarters, with his precious cargo still in his hand. The fox’sspirit had immediately lifted upon entering the quarters and upon being awayfrom the hard stares and ugly glares from those people.
He had notbeen this delighted however, when Qui-Gon had bathed him. He had stoppedsquirming after a time, but if he had realized that he was outmatched, or if hejust realized that Qui-Gon was HELPING him by getting him clean, the JediMaster would most likely never know. What he DID know was, that the small onehad a healthy appetite. Qui-Gon had ordered an extra portion of chicken meatand some milk that he had served the fox in two bowls. Needless to say, theywere both completely empty and parts of the Jedi’s own meal, were also in thesmall and furry tummy.
SecretlyQui-Gon wondered how much could fit into someone so small, but he decided then, that it was probably better not to know.
A sighescaped the Jedi Master’s lips and he felt his furry companion, whose fur wasclean and shiny and therefore red, white and a little black again, move around.Thankfully the animal had not been severely injured. It just had been some dirtand a single thorn in the little one’s paw that Qui-Gon had gotten rid of. Thankfullythe small puncture wound had not yet gotten infected, THAT could have endedquite differently and badly then.
A wet nosebumped against Qui-Gon’s own, before a warm and rough tongue licked at the beardedcheek.
“It’s timeto sleep now,” mumbled the Jedi Master. To his surprise, the pup settled downnear his head. He even allowed the Jedi to place his free head around him. Witha smile on his bearded features, did Qui-Gon eventually succumb to sleep and hewas not the only one.
When thetall Jedi Master awoke the next morning, he was immediately startled fullyawake. Of course he could remember the small fox from yesterday, but he couldnot remember the animal being so big. He opened his midnight blue eyes andabruptly sat up.
He wasshocked to see a small human boy – completely bare, just as the day he was born– resting and sleeping right next to him. What struck the Jedi Master, were thetwo fox ears that stuck out of copper hair, as well as the fox tail the youngboy possessed. Something was definitely wrong here and the Jedi Master wasstill figuring out, how to approach the unusual situation, when the young oneyawned sleepily and opened his blue-green eyes.
For a momentQui-Gon forgot to breath. He knew those eyes, they had belonged to a poor andlonely fox and now that he looked closer, he could see that the boy was just asthin as the little fox had been.
“Daddy?” asmall voice questioned and blue-green eyes expectantly looked at him.
Qui-Gonsobered and scrambled out of the bed. “No,” he shook his head.
“Daddy?”the boy’s brows were furrowed and he sat up, clearly not understanding what wasgoing on. He could barely be a couple of years old.
“No,” thistime his voice held no room for argument. “I am NOT your father and I am notgoing to be.”
The gingerhaired boy blinked up at him, then his eyes turned to his lap. The boy’s foxears dropped low and tears were starting to escape him. He sniffed and silentlysobbed, arms encircling himself.
Qui-Gon’sheart broke at the sight. Of course the boy would not understand. From hisperspective, the Jedi Master had saved him and cared for him, it was onlynatural that the lonely child would think him his father, a person that deeplycared for him, most likely for the first time in his short life.
“Oh child,”he could not help himself, but kneel back onto the mattress and pull the weepingboy with the fox features against his chest.
“Daddy?”why did he have to sound so lost and hopeful at the same time?
The beardedmale sighed. “What’s your name young one?” he did not deny the boy’s claims, but he did not agree to it either.
“Obi…,” hesniffed, “Obi-Wan.”
“And do youhave a last name Obi-Wan?”
He shookhis head. Well, they just had to deal with that later. It didn’t matter nowanyway. The older male continued to rock his distressed charge and he did noteven stop, when he felt something at the back of his mind connect into place. He just cursed the Force and his damn ‘luck’. Why had the Force created a bondbetween him and this boy? He was not even sure that Obi-Wan was Forcesensitive. He only knew that Obi-Wan was apparently able to transform into afox, whatever the reason for that.
The Jedi Master lethimself fall back into the pillows, making sure to cover his charge with ablanket so that he would not get ill due to exposure to the cool air. All thatcould come later, for now he would live in the here and now and right now, there was a small fox-boy, who needed to be taken care of. Everything elsewould come with time. At least Qui-Gon hoped it would.

Vampire quigon taking vampire obiwan on his first hunt to get an animal for blood and showing he's becoming a man it being a vampire tradition like togruta's who hunt akul for their headdress.
Warning: animal death (felt like mentioning it)
“Calm downPadawan,” Qui-Gon said, but he was clearly amused at his energetic student’sexcitement. “The animals will not run away.”
“ButMaster, they DO. That’s why it is called ‘hunting’ and notjust ‘collecting’,” protested the teenager.
“Oh,” hepretended to be genuinely shocked at the ‘new’ revelation. “In thiscase we should indeed hurry. Come along then.” With that he took longer andfaster steps.
This timeit was Obi-Wan’s turn to laugh. At least he did not need to wonder, from whomhe had gotten his wry sense of humor and sarcasm.
“Welcome tomy home planet Padawan… again.” They had been on the planet before, namely tomeet Qui-Gon’s birth family. It had been the best decision he had made duringhis long years as a Padawan teacher, because Obi-Wan had learned a lot moreabout his kind and about his abilities than Qui-Gon could have taught him.
“It is goodto be back, I missed the atmosphere.”
“Who knows, perhaps you can find your own stone in the River of Light,” he shrugged.
“And then Iam going to give it to you for your next birthday,” the ginger haired malejoined the teasing.
The tallmale chuckled. “Let us set camp and end our mission first and then we willsee.”
“YesMaster,” obediently he set to work.
The twoJedi were sitting on a thick tree branch that easily held their combined weight.Their higher position allowed them to look over the whole pasture and theirvampire eyes made it even possible for them to spot a few decent sized animalsamong the tall grass.
“I want youto watch me very closely Obi-Wan,” Qui-Gon explained what he was about to do.“I will open the bond completely so that you may experience everything throughme directly, if you wish so.”
“I’d liketo.”
“Let mebriefly explain what I am about to do,” he was already shedding his robe andhanding it to his Padawan. “I will hide among the grass and also hide my Forcepresence. Also, you should ALWAYS approach an animal AGAINST the wind, otherwise they might catch your scent and flee before you are close enough toattack. Our increased speed may give us a great advantage, but it also costs usa lot of energy and if the case arrives that you HAVE to hunt an animal inorder to drink blood, then you usually don’t have much energy to spare.”
“When youcaptured one…” he trailed off, not quite sure what exactly he wanted to ask.
The Masterseemed to understand nevertheless, “You have to wrestle the animal to theground and you have to make sure that it stays there. I will wait until youhave reached my position and then I show you how to kill it, without causinghim unnecessary pain and suffering. Understood?”
“YesMaster.”
“Good,”with a graceful movement, did he slide to the ground. He landed silent on his twofeet and immediately crouched low, almost moving forward on all fours. The longhaired male used the tall grass to hide his form, the wind was coming fromnorth, which meant that it was hitting Qui-Gon’s front and not his back, perfect conditions.
Obi-Wanleaned forward, though it was completely unnecessary, and watched in awe howhis Master slowly moved forward, closing in to a small group of mammals. Twomembers of the herd were gazing and sniffing around, looking out for a possiblethreat, yet they did not seem to hear or see the approaching Master. The restof the herd was happily eating the nectar of the plants and flowers aroundthem. Over their opened bond, he could feel his Master’s excitement at thehunt, the predator in him awakening.
Obi-Wan wasstill wondering what animal his Master would chose, when the older male wasalready on the move. He acted so fast that the ginger haired vampire couldbarely follow. A scared and absolutely terrified screech could be heard overthe whole pasture and the herd was on the run, except one of the older mammalsthat was pinned to the ground, effortlessly by the stronger vampire.
Obi-Wan hadto remember to breathe, before he realized that he was supposed to join thebearded man’s side. He put the taller male’s robe, as well as his own, on thebranch, where it would be safe and then he too slid down the tree. He hurriedso that the animal would not need to suffer through his fear too long.
“There aretwo traditional methods a vampire might use, but I would advise you to simplybreak your victim’s neck,” Qui-Gon demonstrated. A sickening crack could beheard over the pasture and immediately, the Ikopi was dead. It had not felt anypain, Obi-Wan had been able to feel that through the Force.
“What isthe other method?” he asked curiously.
Qui-Gon’sblood red eyes were unreadable, even to him, which meant that something wastroubling him. “My… father,” Qui-Gon replied hesitantly. This was one memory hewas glad that Obi-Wan did not have to share with him. The Padawan had been withQui-Gon’s mother at this point, while the Jedi Master himself had joined hisbiological father on the hunt. “My father explained to me that any vampire, whoconsiders himself noble, simply drains his prey completely. While thepenetration of the animal’s skin might hurt the being, the sucking itself willonly feel uncomfortable and that only at the beginning. I’d rather not use thismethod.”
Obi-Wanunderstood. He too would not want to feel the animal struggle for survivalwhile his body was slowly yet steadily drained of blood. “Every life isprecious,” said the Padawan more to himself than anything else.
“Exactly, this is why you should never hunt simply for joy. Only do it, when it isabsolutely necessary. And you should never kill a suckling either.”
Obi-Wannodded. “I understand.”
Qui-Gonstood up from his crouched position and pushed his long strains of hair out ofhis face. “It is your turn now, Padawan.” The ginger haired boy noddeddetermined, but he hesitated perhaps a second too long. “What is it, youngone?”
“Can I takeoff my boots?”
“If youwant.”
The Padawanbend down and took of his leather boots. He preferred bare feet for this task,he had a better connection to the Living Force this way. Qui-Gon as a Master ofthe Living Force, did not fully understand the need for physical contact, buthe indulged his Padawan in this.
“Oh andObi-Wan,” Qui-Gon called out after he had taken the younger male’s boots fromhim, “may the Force be with you.”
Obi-Wan wasaware that his Master had dragged the dead Ikopi away, so that its stench wouldnot scare other animals away. He was also aware that the older male was movingin the grass too, always keeping relatively close to his Padawan, just in case.Their bond was still widely open and Obi-Wan could feel the older male’samusement at yet ANOTHER failed attempt. The Padawan sighed in frustration.
“PATIENCE, Padawan mine,” came over the bond.
“Yes Master… were you this bad too?” he couldn’t help but ask.
“You are not bad Obi-Wan, just inexperienced. But I sense that you are learning from your mistakes much quicker than I did. When I tried to hunt for the first time, it took me a whole day and when Ifinally succeeded, it got away again.”
Obi-Wanfelt a little bit better at the revelation. With new found determination, didhe continue with his training.
Obi-Wancould not quite believe it, when he had actually managed to take a much largerIkopi down. The mammal was struggling fiercely, but it didn’t escape, though ithad been a close call.
“Well done youngone,” the baritone voice was full of pride and perhaps a little bit ofsurprise.
Qui-Gon stepped up next to his Padawan andhelped him to hold down the Ikopi’s long legs. It was a strongly build male andQui-Gon was actually quite impressed at his Padawan’s catch.
“NoMaster,” the long haired male let go and stepped away. If his Padawan wanted todo this on his own, then it was his right. It was HIS coming of age hunt afterall. But to his surprise, Obi-Wan stood up as well and allowed the scared Ikopito simply run away.
“Padawan,”he began, but stopped when he saw the remorseful expression on the youngervampire’s face.
“You saidthat I should only kill when it is absolutely necessary… and it isn’t. You havealready killed one and I am sure I still have one or two packs of substituteblood in my bag.”
Astonishmentand awe filled the older vampire’s chest and he couldn’t help himself but stepforward and envelop his boy in a tight hug.
“M…Master?”
“I am veryproud of you, little one,” he mumbled into ginger locks. And he truly was.Xanatos would have killed the animal, had he been in the same position. ButObi-Wan was different, he had a good and caring heart. “Though you are notreally my little one anymore, isn’t that right?”
Obi-Wangazed up at him in amusement. In vampire tradition, he had just come of agewith his successful capture of his first real prey. “Compared to you, I willalways be little…” he mumbled and snuggled closer to his Master.
They werehappy and together, nothing else mattered.
