the dean winchester to evan buckley pipeline is so real actually. both have dirty blonde hair. dean wanted to be a firefighter when he grew up; buck is one. both used to be really straight womanizer guys who we later on discover to in reality be bissexual. they have severe trauma. and a homoeretic relationship with their best friend with whom they co-parent a child with. they’re afraid everyone in their life’s’ are gonna leave them, so they push the people that care abt them away sometimes. and because of that, they always measure their value in their usefulness to everyone around them, sacrificing themselves and constantly trying to save everyone—even if it is at their on cost. they are both really great with kids and so so silly >.< they make bad funny jokes and are actually really smart, even though people don’t always give them enough credit. they are the archer coded, with extreme family issues problems. they tend to constantly make things about them and are kinda oblivious, yet they are so kind and charming, even though sometimes they don’t think so. dean and buck both have bad coping mechanisms and sometimes they’re not sure who they actually are. and they are so, so, so loved :(<3 happy pride to my fav bi boys btw !!

Best Queer TTRPGS
Blue Rose is a long-time love of mine. From its understanding of gender to how it views relationships, this world is queer through and through. Blue Rose uses the AGE system and is well equipped for epic fantasy tales.
Girl By Moonlight: a relative newcomer on the scene, Girl By Moonlight was published earlier this year by Evil Hat Productions. The game actively encourages queer themes, such as the exploration of gender identity and triumph of love over an uncaring world (while not essentially queer, the latter theme is very relatable to many of us!)
Girl By Moonlight uses the Forged in the Dark system, which originated with the popular Blades in the Dark.
Thirsty Sword Lesbians is a by now famous ttrpg Powered by the Apocalypse. Thirsty is a celebration of queer culture, sometimes joyful, sometimes angsty, always engrossing. Its robust social mechanics make it an excellent alternative to dungeon crawlers for those looking for a roleplay heavy gaming experience.
Lichcraft is a rules-lite game about becoming an immortal lich to live long enough to receive gender-affirming healthcare from an increasingly long waitlist. The art is gorgeous and the game cathartic. Also, who doesn't love liches?
Queering Your Favourite Games
Queercoded for 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons.
Queerfinder for Pathfinder 2nd edition.,
Queerz for City of Mist.
Queer Actual Plays
High Rollers: a popular British Dungeons and Dragons actual play with a genderfluid DM, and multiple queer players. Their most recently completed campaign, Aerois, contained multiple queer characters and relationships.
Transplanar: an all trans, bipoc-led production. You may like to start with Godkiller: at sixteen episodes, it's the perfect length to get a feeling for this tale's vibe and storytelling style.

I just watched Spider Man: Across the spider verse yesterday and I would like to say how much I loved that part of Miles narrative where he wanted to tell his parents he's the spiderman was so queercoded and also how later on in the movie, once he meet the "spidey verse" and its whole system he was so against it because it's broken and how Hobie helps him to escape and how Margo let him go and how in the end Gwen gathers all the spideys that are against the system and think the Miles is right to help him out. I am well aware that a great thing about the spider verse is that Miles (and other characters) has other problems that are not racism, racist systems or just systemic issues in general and is really awesome to see black people just living their lifes (a narrative that we need to see more) but I also think is a very badass (and important, especially these days) move that a young black boy goes against a whole system and a bunch of people to fight for what he believe is right and that in the end a trans woman (because, yeah guys, Gwen is probably trans, no ally has a trans flag in their room that specifically says "protect trans kids") stands with him and actively starts to help him.
Anyway, I can't stop thinking about this movie

I've decided to hop on this trend because what's better than gay little bad guys?
((idea from @nonbiney-swag-competition @autismswagsummit @transgenderswagcompetition @bisexual-monarch-tournament))
Submit your villains HERE !!
Requirements for our little guys ((and others obv))
Must be an antagonist ((sorry but we gotta keep our villains villains)) in whatever theyre from
Can be from anything really - Book/Movie/Show/Game/Podcast/other
Can't be a real person - must be a fictional character!!
Does not have to be canonically queer!!
Can fall under any LGBTQIA+ Categories!! ((or multiple :) ))
Jessie & James are already in (as 1 unit) so don't submit them again!!
If its a duo or trio, submit as one!! They will be in one slot, and broken up if they make it to the finals!!

A little look at queer-coding (and queer-baiting) within media ☀️
Queer-coding is when a character’s “subtextual coding” is queer. Queer-coding is different from queer-baiting because the latter is an intentional hinting at queerness without any intention of ever actually including lgbtq+ rep.
One of the most popular examples of queer-baiting in media is from the show Supernatural. The show continually hints at a very strong relationship between two lead male characters but nothing is ever explicitly stated.
The memes above highlight a specifically queer-coded ‘ship’ from MTV show Teen Wolf.
Thiam, as is the ship name consists of Liam Dunbar (beta werewolf) and Theo Raeken (first chimera).
#thiam is the most written ship for both characters and is the tenth most written Teen Wolf ship tag.
This example was chosen because during the two seasons the characters were on the show together, they had great chemistry and plenty of moments that were subtly queer, or queer-coded.
This is a common trend in Teen Wolf where their characters are deftly ad quite possibly unintentionally coded in an lgbtq+ way. Other popular non-canon, same sex ships from said show include, but are not limited to: #scisaac #sterek #allydia #malira with valid reasoning for each, as their characters are all, for lack of a better term… fruity
This was supposed to be 2 sentences ;)

You know how Alice Oseman does those Halloween posts where her characters are dressed up, oftentimes as characters from more or less niche fandoms or movies or as heavily queercoded characters or as queer icons?
I kinda want her to draw Nick and Charlie as Merthur from BBC's Merlin. Nick is built like Arthur, they both have a dog personality and they have the same hair colour. And Charlie is built like Merlin, has a cat personality as well and also has dark hair. It just fits.
So, who is signing my petition?
(Btw I know there is that Knight au and that's similar, but it's just not the same)

Me and @yourlocalchaoticrat have just done the most queercoded shit
Cut my hair into a mullet
In the school bathroom
While listening to mcr
We are now holding onto locks of each others hair
Neither of us know why but we are
She had to vacuum the hair off my morbius shirt
Productive day!

I'm a fan of queercoded because I'm too dumb to find the killer but I'm gay enough to know that these guys are kissing when no one is watching
