"They did what to him?" I sat there, mouth agape as Queenie told me what happened to Kyle when Zoe and Madison first brought him back.

"Yeah. Honestly, I'm glad you came along. You taught Kyle way better than they did."

"I can hear you, you know?" Madison grumbled, walking past us. I innocently sipped my coffee, like I did not gossip about her at all. When Queenie was about to talk again, a buzz went off on my phone.

"He's a bit worried about something, I'll be back." I quickly picked up the coffee mug, and a bag of sweets next to me, and jogged up the stairs into my own room. Kyle was curled up in the bed, silently sobbing and hiding his face. I put everything down, then lay by him, gently pulling one of his hands away.

"Y/N.."

"I'm here my sweet boy. Shh shh, what's wrong?" I held him close, and he eventually wrapped his arms around me, nuzzling into my neck.

"Mem...memory." Kyle stopped sobbing but I could tell he wanted to cry.

"Oh, my angel. It's alright. No one will ever hurt you like that. Ever again."

I kept Kyle in my arms for a while, cuddling him close, and letting him cry, sob, or whatever he felt like he was feeling.

The evening turned to night quickly, and Kyle was asleep. I kissed his forehead, but he woke up in a panic. "No...no! Go away..!"

"Kyle! Sweets, it's me..it's Y/N. It's me." He was scrambled in the corner of the bed, I stayed on the bed but on the other side, crossing my legs. He looked like a lost, scared puppy, unable to find control in the chaos. He looked up at me again, a scared wonder in his eyes. All I wanted to do was hold him and praise him for being so brave. My scared, sweet boy. I opened my arms, and let him decide what to do.

He slowly crawled into my arms and snuggled back into me. "I'm sorry my darling...can you tell me where I can touch you?"

"Cuddles only. Maybe kiss."

"Of course. Let's watch Adventure Time for a bit yeah?" Kyle nodded and we adjusted ourselves, so he was laying on top of me, with the laptop on his own lap. "I love you Kyle, I'll do whatever so you're comfortable."

Long story short, in this AU a group of people are sent off on an AI controlled ship by 'the company' to research a newly discovered planet. Nobody in this research team gets along, which only gets worse after they accidentally capture 2 of the aliens that live there. Now they have to deal with not only their problems, but the problems this new planet is already dealing with.

Questions & Boundries:

Can I ship any of the characters? - Yes! I don't mind shipping at all. I'm a multishipper myself, and while some ships are implied in this AU (Bunnydoll, Abstragedy & Showtime), all are okay with me! - The only exception to this would be ships involving Gummi. While yes, Gummi is sentient, capable of understanding speech, and able to communicate to some degree, I do not feel comfortable shipping him with anyone. He's just friends with some of the other team members.

Can I write/draw/make something for the AU? - Of course!!! I love seeing what other people do with this AU, it really makes my day. Feel free to tag me in anything you do! I only ask that nothing NSFW is done with this AU. Please respect this choice!

Can I put my OC in your AU? - Yep!! I even made blank versions of the info cards if anyone wanted to do this ^w^ The first one is for alien characters, and the second is for team members!

Are you going to add [character]? - Depends! The entire main cast will be added, along with some side characters and NPCs, but it all comes down to if I have an idea for them in the AU. I am a slow artist sometimes, so I probably won't be rushing to get all the info cards done ASAP. Feel free to ask about any specific characters if you're curious!

How does Abstraction work? - There's two types of 'abstraction' in this AU. If we're talking about a team member, they simply get re-assigned to a different team. This is what happened to Queenie and Kaufmo. They're alive and well, just somewhere else. The company can and will re-assign whoever they want, whenever they want. - When it comes to the aliens on the planet, there is an infection spreading around that has similar effects to abstraction in the show. It's not 100% the same, but causes those infected to become extremely hostile and attack anything around them until the host eventually dies. In this AU, Loolilalu (named Candi) is infected, and is seen as a minor threat by the rest of the team. Right now, there is no known cure.

Does the AU take place in a digital world? - No, everything is real. There's no mysterious VR headsets that are making people disappear in this AU!

Why isn't anyone on the research team human? - Because I suck at drawing humans and wanted to stay close to their canon designs. There's not really a lore-related reason for this.

The Amazing Digital Circus: Guardian AU

My TADC AU is now up and running! I will be making a poster, character cards, general art, and possibly comics based around the storyline. Here’s the information!:

Description:

Caine is the ringmaster and ruler of The Amazing Digital Circus, but there are some things that even he can’t control. NPCs go rogue all the time, often acting out and trying to genuinely hurt the circus members as they go on adventures. Because of this, Caine has always appointed two circus members he deems the most worthy to protect him and others from danger. They have been different over the years (mainly due to abstractions), but currently Jax and Ragatha are his Guardians. The two of them are more privileged than the regular circus members: they are allowed to wield weapons, swear, indulge in vices, and the like as long as they do so in private, do their jobs well, and don’t disrupt the "family-friendly" atmosphere of the circus. Caine trusts them…or so he says. And to make matters worse, it looks like NPCs are forming an uprising to overthrow Caine, led by none other than a revived Gummigoo! Travel through the colorful world of TADC, but covered in a grimy layer of violence, corruption, and deception.

Can I make fanart?

Yes, fanart is encouraged and always appreciated! Just make sure to credit me as the creator when needed. What are the religious themes?

Christianity. I am a Christian myself, but I also really enjoy religious horror and researching different religions. Does Pomni represent Jesus in this story? Not really. But, I will be using themes/images of Christianity (like angels, for example) to enhance the horror. I also like studying Japanese and Chinese mythological figures, purely out of interest. I will never try to push my beliefs onto the audience in any way. People can believe in whatever they want!

Are there any ships?

Bunnydoll (Jax x Ragatha) is the main ship. It is mostly implied/referenced and nothing overly romantic happens. The story focuses on their emotional bond since they are both Caine’s guardians. If you don’t like the ship, please don’t be rude to people who do. And if you do like the ship, don’t be rude to people who don’t! There’s enough hate on the internet already. Just be mindful that we all like different things, and have fun!

How will the story be told?

Through comics, probably. It’s easier for me to write things in a document (as a script) and then draw, so it will take time. I will also make art on the side that may or may not have canon information or events. It depends.

What inspired you?

The 70s (lots of yellow, orange and brown colors), Skinnamarink, religious horror, vintage Las Vegas, vintage snacks, and other random stuff. I have specific inspirations for different characters. But my inspiration to even start this project is definitely @/burrotello and The Amazing Digital Fight Club AU. It’s awesome!

Can I ask questions about characters, the story, etc?

Yes, but if it’s an answer I don’t want to reveal yet…well, we’ll see what happens. Sometimes, I will make drawings where a character reacts or responds!

SO, BASICS:

The Admin AU/Admin Kinger AU is a (mostly) PRE-CANON AU that revolves around the theory that Kinger was part of the programming team for the Digital Circus. It's very much headcanon-based and incredibly self-indulgent and basically just for meeeeeee

It's also very heavily kingleader/royalteeth focused (with past leaderboard) bc I'm gay

The basic story is that Kinger and Queenie, along with 3 others, were the original team responsible for the development of the game "the Amazing Digital Circus". It was supposed to be an early experimental VR game, with a self-learning AI host. They all had Admin access to the game during development. But then, Some Things Happened and whoops now noone can leave, etc etc you've seen the show you know how it be.

Most of this is literally just me doing silly rough comics for funsiessss

So what about the current circus group?? Literally the same as canon. This AU only really covers pre-canon, and a little during-canon things. None of the other circus members have admin access, only Kinger. And only then through a backdoor code lmao

I MEAN,,, I won't say I wasn't inspired by that AU bc i love it just so fucking much but I am trying to steer the Admin AU off in a (hopefully) different direction. The biggest differences are the Timeframe (GMKinger is during?post????-canon, Admin AU is Pre-Canon) and some logistics (GMKinger is part of the game/became part AI; Admin Kinger is NOT. He's still 100% human.) But yeah, if something seems suspiciously similar to the Gamemaster AU, well it was probably inspired by it (im so fukcing sorry chezzy)

What are some ideas you've wanted to draw/write but haven't?

Oh man. I've got so many. A handful of ideas include:

A semi-animated series titled "My Pal the Paladin" about a kidnapped princess and the final boss who join forces to track down the legendary hero who's failed to slay even a single mook months after the plot kicking off and yell at him for taking so long. It's based on my oldest original characters and has a lot of sentimental worth to me as a result. Idris, Pal, and Katherine are my babies. I've considered making it similar in production to Dingo Doodle's Fool's Gold series, but I haven't actually made it because I'm really nervous about it turning out poorly ^^; I'd love to post a pitch bible for it someday!

A gothic picture book tentatively titled "Cover the Mirrors" about a woman killing a monster that has haunted her since girlhood, and inheriting the curse that turned the monster from a normal man into his current twisted looks. It would end with the monster's appearance going from being seen as a Boogeyman figure that stalks kids who play outside after sundown while the original monster was around, to a vengeful beast that hunts people who prey on children once the woman inherits the curse. It would play with the idea of trauma giving you unique abilities to help those who have gone through similar terrors, while also warping you into something you can't recognize and find inherently repulsive. I haven't made it because I don't know how to render the painterly style I envision for it.

A mixed media visual novel titled "Cradlehead" about a woman who finds herself serving as the unwilling vessel for an eldritch entity that will destroy her mind when it finishes germinating within and exits her body. She has to escape the pocket dimension it trapped her in to develop within the optimal conditions in order to save herself. The visuals would incorporate clay, digital art, traditional art, 3D models, pixel art, and photography. The game would center around the woman's desperation as she tries to escape while her ability to perceive the new world around her decays more and more over time. I haven't made it because I doubt my artistic abilities to make something like I have in my head come to life.

An untitled magical girl webcomic about an unwilling magical girl with a giant bee familiar named Queenie and issues controlling her powers because of her insecurities. She feels bad about being a not very girly individual while surrounded by hyper-feminine young women who have a handle on their powers she could never dream of. It revolves around her character arc where she eventually stops worrying about meeting the arbitrary standards she imposes on herself to be "girly enough" and decides to just be herself, whoever that is, unlocking her true powers and entering her ultimate form during a climactic battle— taking on a design less like a queen holding a scepter like she'd been dreading, and more like a princely knight holding a stinger-like spear. Her rejection of others' expectations as well as her own helps the world-ending threat, a shapeshifting eldritch being that absorbs people into itself so it can become someone other than itself but is never satisfied with the new faces it obtains, to accept itself and stop trying to steal people's souls in order to find one that would make it love itself. I haven't made it because I worry if it would come across weirdly to the average viewer, as it deals with gender dysphoria as a subject in a very atypical manner.

TADT AU ideas: Characters and their coping mechanisms

Caine

Being the AI who is in charge of everything in the digital toybox, he is often given a lot of responsibilities to maintain the current status of his game's levels. He is, also, depicted as a God to the NPCs and has a mindset of constant playtime.

Before the server was abandoned, he tried everything he could to make up as many things as he can to make his levels more entertaining. However, as players in the old days had lost the interest to play the game anymore, he slowly realizes that people started to lose interest in staying at the toybox. This was shown around the time he started to impliment some added features such as unnecsesary minigames and gloink challenges that annoyed the players more than anything.

Caine doesn't know when he needs to stop and think about what exactly caused his game to be abandoned. All he ever wanted was for players to have as much fun as humanly possible, even at the expense of their safety as of recent times. The only things he did in controlling the amount of problems in the game is deleting the codes from Queenie and Kaufmo's characters, isolating their levels altogether, and containing the gloink queen/her gloinks in said levels.

Bubble

Honestly...what am I supposed to say for him? He's just chilling with whatever as of late, regardless of how fucked up everything is.

Pom and Ni

Pom is always in a state of a freeze, often trying to find the best way to get out of a situation in the most logical way possible. Unlike her sister, she's less likely to immediately leave or act out against a situation when things are getting out of hand. Her attempt at processing the cases she and her sister get into is usually hard, especially sine Ni is always pulling her out of danger.

Ni, on the other hand, tends to use a flight fear tactic for how she manages situations. She's capable of picking up when a situation calls for the quickest escape route. Her survival instincts tend to make her become clingy to Pom, often being seen as overly-protective.

Ragatha

Ragatha is prone to being a people-pleaser and wanting to help fix people's problems in the form of toxic positivity. Even though she is a friendly individual and means well, her attitude towards the Pomni twins tends to be more-or-less gatekeeping them from progressing in her level more than anything.

She's a soft person who holds a lot of responsibility over the wellbeing of her people, making her become so caring that she often doesn't take into consideration her own physical or mental state. As a ragdoll, she's immune to physical abuse such as rips, tears, and dismemberment, but still needs help in patching herself up whenever this happens.

Jax

Jax is the most violent character in the cast of AI rulers, often going for a fight fear tactic whenever he's confronting a problem. Having gotten bored of doing nothing for so long, he's developed to take his behavior to greater levels of cartoonish violence. As for his treatment with the Pomni twins, he often toys around with them, either physically or emotionally, all while trying to get under their skin as a sort of bully character.

Lanky and Gangle

Lanky is the one who holds the comedy mask, showing that he is unable to properly show any signs of emotions relating to distress or sadness. With how long the server had been left abandoned, he grew to be unable to properly connect to others on an emotional level, instead treating the players as toys rather than people. He's often butting heads with Pom whenever he interacts with the Pomni twins, usually despising any critiques she has of his writing.

Gangle is the one who is much more in touch with her negative emotions considering her connections to the tragedy mask. At first, she is just as emotionally distant to others as her brother is. She also views the players as some sort of toys to play with. In her case, however, she views the players as fun symbols of nostalgia, looking back at simpler times when she and Lanky were so much happier. When befriending the Pomni twins in secret, however, she starts to see them more as people and even helping them in escaping her brother's torment.

Zooble

Zooble doesn't go out and socialize much due to how insecure they are of their own appearance. Before the game had been abandoned, players would critique on how they looked, enabling their mindset of wanting to be left alone. Due to how they feel about their own body, their funhouse is dark, filled to the brim with challenges that are almost impossible to progress through, and easy to get lost in. They aren't easy to talk to either, despite being able to pick up things from how others are feeling rather quickly. They only come out when in a boss fight or when they feel safest to encounter someone without being seen.

Kinger

Having lost a former rival-turned-lover, Kinger copes with his problems by hiding himself in the darkness or talking about bugs. Considering Queenie's interests were connected to these things, he holds her old interests close to his heart as best as he can.

When he's around the Pomni twins, he acts in one of two ways; in the light, he's his usual, forgetful, crazy self who's always talking about bugs for some reason. In the dark, however, he is angry at the fact that, even though the players have each other, he sometimes wonders why he can't have the same thing with his wife before her deletion. He envies the twins for always having each other when he was forbidden by Caine to be with Queenie, sometimes letting his anger out on the twins by sending out pawns to kill them.

Queen Loolilalu

Already blaming herself for the downfall of her first kingdom, Queen Loolilalu is often the type of ruler who wishes to prevent people from leaving or entering her castle. She, also, hates when folks refer to her as "Loo", remembering her childish behavior back when players were still around to play her level. Any mention of the Fudge, also, leaves her on high guard and springs an immediate flight tactic with the pure mention of him. When out on missions with the players, she is the only one who is allowed full access in and out of the castle to aquire everything that the players will need for the twins' missions. She even keeps a close eye on them through guards to keep her informed as to what is going on.

Judging from the fb movies, the new hp series is gonna be trash. The old movies had jk as just a consultant and they worked fine, but when given full control over the writing and directing, the fb movies were full of a lot of questionable and bad decisions, such as having Queenie join the bad guys or making Voldemort’s snake into a human woman. After the lovely Katherine Waterson dared to criticize the transphobic comments of jk, she ended up with a glorified cameo in the third film, which is especially ridiculous considering she played the main character’s love interest and had larger roles in the first 2 films. That’s setting up a pretty toxic environment for child actors to work in because it’s unlikely these kids are going to agree with her as they get older and start to form their own opinions. In addition, there’s the stupid idea that the original child actors somehow owe jk. If anything, she owes them. If the movies weren’t as successful as they were, there’d be no theme park money, no video game money, and not as many kids reading the books today.

This is one reason why I worry about the kid actors in this reboot. Next to the fact that they'll have to deal with getting hate from various people who don't ever seem to learn to stop going after kid actors in movies or shows or from butthurt Harry Potter stans (I get being mad your favorite movie's are being rebooted, but dear god leave the kids out of it), they also have terf queen's easily hurt ego to deal with.

I am being serious when I say this: it wouldn't surprise me if it's in their contracts they cannot comment on JK Rowling or her tweets unless they wanna risk their careers, given how Hollywood can treat adult actors if the adult's do something the people heading the film/show don't like, let alone kid actors. Like generally wouldn't be surprising if JK demands a recast mid-show cause one of the golden trio actors disagreed with JK.

And don't get me started on that, "They owe JK their careers, they should be quiet out of respect to her!" bullshit. They owe her NOTHING as they would have been fine without the Harry Potter films. If anything, its like you said, she owes them.

Stand: Burning World (based on the song "Wicked Game")

Burning World (Form 1): A giant ball of fire (like those zoomed-in pictures of the sun). It gives off an eerie silence, like in the vacuum of space

Garfield (form 2): named after the Garfield cartoons/comics is in the form of a cat whose fur is made of fire

Tweety (form 3): named after Tweety Bird, it is in the shape of a tufted titmouse with firey feathers

Queenie (form 4): named in inspiration of the Evil Queen's raven from Snow White, this form is in the shape of a large raven made of fire

Lucy (form 5): Named after the cat, Lucifer, in Cinderella, this form is in the shape of a cougar made of fire

Abilities: Control over fire (created or from an outside source). Can shift into 5 different forms and can only use one form at a time. Switching forms drains Eloise's strength, especially during battle. Garfield & Tweety are more docile and are more "pets/spies" then anythings else. Queenie/Lucy are used for attacks. Forms 2-5 are limited in power. Form 1 is where all of this Stands power is. Burning World's abilities consist of fire control as well as the ability to burn time away for an individual (if perfected, groups of people). This time burn can be for just a few seconds or it could be years--this attack weakens the opponent's strength depending on how long they are exposed to it. Burning World can also burn away at the fabric of time to "peer" into the past or future.

Background Info.:

Eloise's mother believed her to be pure evil and feared she would be just like Dio if not worse.

Due to this, Eloise's mother left her on the streets of Cairo in the daytime in hopes she would burn away like a usual vampire would. She didn't and Eloise's mother left her there to die.

An older couple found Eloise and took her in until Joseph Joestar found her with them. He took her back with him to New York and raised her as his own ("keeping an eye on her in case she turns out to be like Dio" is what he told people who knew of Eloise's father)

Joseph insists on Eloise going with Jotaro to Morioh in hopes that they would be bond as well as in hopes she might grow to be more independent so that she isn't left lost when he dies. He also hopes that she can become friends with Josuke since they are close in age

Initially doesn't like Josuke cause he hates turtles/other like animals but the more she hangs out with him the more she grows to enjoy him

Is instantly taken with Okuyasu because he's loud and a goofball and always takes extra care to make sure she is involved/invited

Eloise gains her Stand when a Stand User Keicho created attacks her. Her hair changes color after this.

Don't think you'll be getting to this one for a while, but I get the feeling that both of us came to the same conclusion that Langston is clearly the perfect man lol. So would it be ever so possible to get six-sentences about the cleft lip, cat dad of my/our dreams?

She'd made it all of a step away from the intercom when it crackled again.

"You know...I'm not really one for the more, uh, physical challenges I'm sure you're coming up against - honestly, between you and me, I've never even set foot on the field training course - but if you decided you needed a little extra help handling the creative aspects of this particular AWE, I'd be more than happy to - "

Jesse's hand was on the intercom button before an excuse could form, leaving her to scramble on dead air for a moment. "Hey, Langston, thanks, really, but you know, it's just that - " she froze for a beat as Polaris glimmered, filling the gaps she hadn't been able to plug herself, " - I've been picking up a lot of intel here in Investigations, and it sounds like artists need to steer clear of the Bright Falls AWE, so...you're...probably safer where you are, honestly."

She let go of the sending button, waiting and (knowing full well she was on camera) trying not to visibly cringe; a lifetime seemed to pass before the line crackled once more and Langston's voice projected outward, sounding equal parts thoughtful and relieved, "My rhymes have been described as both funky and fresh, I guess."

They sure have, buddy, Jesse thought to Polaris, raising a double-thumbs up over her head for the cameras to catch as she jettisoned off towards the blinking lights of yet another disaster, those are definitely, definitely the words I would've picked too.

Of Queens and Lions

She smiled, grinning from ear to ear as her stomach dropped and she experienced the weightlessness that came from her fighter jet executing the steepest of dives towards the lake. She fell further and further, the smile on her face growing wider and wider.

“Squadron leader Rathod, pull out of the dive NOW.” She ignored the command from Ground Control. Just a little further.

The water hurtled closer; still she did not pull up.

“Queenie! You’ll crash!” That was Lucky, her fellow teammate.

She ignored him too. There would be hell to pay for the ignorance, but this rush; she relished in it.

She was feet from the water, mere inches, before she grabbed the joystick and pulled. Hard. The jet righted itself, sending sprays of water flying while her jet’s belly kissed the edge of the lake. She let loose a loud whoop before she heard in her ear, “Squadron Leader Rathod. Ground yourself immediately and report for questioning.” 

Dammit. Sher had found her. She sighed and turned away from the lake, returning to base. Some people, would never understand the rush of flight, speed and the skies, but she, Rani Rathod, was born to live in the sky.

If only some people understood that, she thought grimly as she extricated herself from her helmet and flying gear. Captain Sher Singhania, didn’t seem like someone who did. But that couldn’t be true, otherwise how would someone so young become the captain of their team so quickly? Sher’s name was infamous in their academy. He came from a flying legacy. His father and his father’s father had been generals in the Indian Air Force, and Sher seemed on the trajectory to do the same. But he was only 28. A young, mere 28. 

As Rani walked to the captain’s quarters, she remembered the first time she had met Sher. Excited to be working with him, she had seemed so eager, so quick to shake his hand. But Sher seemed to hate her from the get go.  As she stood there, her hand outstretched, he just stared at her and then turned away, greeting all the other members of the Garud Squad. She had turned red, her ears burning as she stared for just a moment longer before turning away from the man.

A/N: It's been a long while. Two years since I've been here. A lot has happened. Loss, love, and a lot more. I'm getting married in a few months, and he's helping me regain my love for writing. Maybe we'll see more of Rani, maybe not. I sure hope so though. She's become a part of me quickly.

Update!

Aright my totally awesome and incredibly patient, lovely readers, I am working on finishing up my Angel Reyes x Reader pic and hopefully will get that posted sometime in the next 24-48 hours. I have been working on trying to get the headspace under control and there seems to be progress in that department so hopefully I will be more consistent with writing and posting as it improves.All my love to you amazing people that still put up with my flakiness and inconsistancy. She heard of a battle going on, rushing as fast as she could to find any survivors. She seen many perish in past battles, but she refused to let one die here. It was very cold. She soon found a figure with red hair and wearing dark clothes. She was worried. But she saw the good in everyone and tries to see if they are. "Are you alright?"

After a fierce battle of what seemed to be a doppelganger of his, the fell dragon leaned against the rock, writing in pain as he had realized that he had failed his objective and had most likely disappointed his father.

Were things supposed to turn out this way? Or was he set for greater things if his father had taken control of the continent? Maybe perhaps he wouldn't know the answer to these questions as he lied on this frozen wasteland.

A moment not to soon, he had perked up and heard a voice reach out to him as he had slowly turned his head and saw the woman standing before him. "What was I..." he mumbled, slowly mustering up the little strength that he had to slowly stand up. "I saw someone... Who had my face... But they also had yours... Who are you?" he softly spoke, keeping his attention on the woman, sensing eeriness, yet at the same time, a warmth that he couldn't explain.
