"Oh..." He was rambling. He couldn't make sense of his own words other than he was frightened and he was making sounds that felt like they were coherent, but he wasn't sure if they were words anymore. "I... Wh... wha' was I sayin'?" Nothin', you were just standin' there muttering' like a doodlebug!

Oh Grumpy... Those were better days. Doc's head poked upwards, cautiously, to look the queen in the eye. "I can lelp fiddle- uh... I'm a healer o' sorts. Tough times bein' uh... Point is, yer a lady o' action. Put me to work fer ya. S'wha' I wanna say. Think I might be 'lone. Best I can do is support ev'rybody else 'till someone turns up." If someone turns up.

"Yeah - " His mouth is full, having now moved onto the sandwiches, enthused by the size of them. They're so tiny, dainty. He's never seen anything like it. He's so absorbed in it, so lost in his actual enjoyment of the food that he's hardly processing the situation. It might be a little insane that the queen is here, gently coaxing him into eating and drinking - into having tea time with her. But the thoughts are lost on him, switching between the food and now drinking the tea, since it's cooled. He settles back when he's had his fill, staring at an unversed as it sits at his foot. He's never been really good at emotions - probably because anything he feels enough becomes an unversed - but the thing seems so content he has to wonder if it really came from him. He's so used to violence and anger. And those feelings still sit in him. A wedge of guilt, shame, and some other emotions burn through him. Should he be here? Should he be doing this? Most likely, no. "You don't have to do this, you know. Try to make me feel - make me feel better. Or something."

Minnie watched as the boy sniffed the tea in his cup. She highly doubted Xehanort allowed him any drink like this before. She finished fixing her own tea as Vanitas brought his cup to his lips. She hoped he would like it, but the tea must have still been too hot. She gave him a small smile and lifted her teacup. She blew at the steam and cooled the liquid down a bit before taking a sip. Maybe doing something like that would help Vanitas drink again.

The Queen reached for a sandwich as the boy reached for a biscuit. She'd make sure Vanitas had his food before she did, like a good host would. She watched as Vanitas examined the biscuit in his hand and flipped it over for another look before popping it into his mouth.

Minnie had to stop herself from smiling too much when she saw the boy's reaction to how the biscuit tasted. She made no comment on how he'd stuff more of them into his mouth the way he was. She was sure Xehanort didn't ever teach the boy any table etiquette, much less give him anything proper to eat. Xehanort saw this boy as a means to an end, a tool for world domination. And if this really was Vanitas' first real meal, all Minnie wanted to do was let him enjoy it.

"Those are some of my favourites," She said as she set the plate of sandwiches in front of Vanitas. As much as Minnie was happy he was enjoying those biscuits, she didn't want him to get an upset stomach from filling up on them. He'd need something proper to go with them. She reached for a single biscuit herself, happy to let Vanitas take the rest, only to show him another way to eat them. The Queen dipped her biscuit into her tea few times before taking a bite, making sure to chew with her mouth closed as she ate, "Do you like them?" She asked, already seeing the answer all over the boy's face.
