Some hairstyles and headdresses I can see Queen Ozma of Oz wear

Ozma's fashion in the Oz books does have several Ancient Greek, Medieval Italian, Pre Raphaelite and Art Deco influences, with often white and green dresses and floral and jewels on her hair. Also I think she looks kinda like Mary Pickford in the Oz books, so I figured that these hairstyles and headdresses may suit her

*sips tea* I'm thinking about how Ozma needs Dorothy because Ozma's too forgiving. It's a little odd to say that when Ozma was threatening the Regent of Ev when she first met Dorothy. But like her keeping the man who kidnapped and gave her to Mombi as a Palace Wizard(because he had helped keep her Princess Consort safe) shows a concerning degree of Naïveté. Meanwhile, Dorothy.... has the capacity to be Ruthless

Did the fairy queen Lurline create Oz in your Disneyverse?

Ah, a good question. If I'm remembering my Oz right Luraline and her fairy band discover OZ as a barren or at least magicless country and decided to settle there for a while, leaving behind one of their number to become the first ruler of Oz?

I think that could fit in quite well within the DisneyVerse. Luraline could be a fairy from the Everrealm who discovers a pocket dimension coming into being between the Everrealm and Our World and decides to go in and explore/populate it/give it a magical help along, and she maybe had a child with one of the native inhabitants there and thus began the Oz dynasty that would eventually lead down to Glinda and Ozma.

Spoiler : The one who wrote the Grimmerie is Queen Lurline, a Sky Goddess in Oz verse, the one who enchanted all of Oz with her magic, and the true founder of Shiz University. Also she is the biological mother of Queen Ozma

Basically Oscar Diggs shows up and overthrew Ozma's parents ( King Pastoria and Queen Lurline ) and handed baby Ozma to be raised as a boy named Tip under a witch named Mombi in Gilikin Country. And long story short it took at least 2 decades for Ozma to finally be found ( lots of drama - read Return to Oz about this )....ans Ozma ages slower than an average human because she is part faerie/goddess and while her dad ages like a human, her mom ( who has multiple other children with various royalty of the fantasy lands outside of Oz ) is a faerie Queen that is THOUSANDS OF YEARS OLD

Headcanon that Madame Morrible was once under tutelage of Lurline....until Morrible turned against her in favor of Oscar Diggs ( for some reason ) and locked Lurline in some black hole prison for at least 2 DECADES. The Oz books later on detailed how Ozma and her friends manages to find Lurline, break her out of the prison and Lurline reunited with Ozma and Ozma's multiple half siblings.
