Like my Optimus was reformatted to look more “Autobot” and had her memories altered. She doesn’t remember anything before boot camp or what her name was.

Ariel (black Arachnia) finds out about what the Autobots did and she did what she could to help her.

She remembers her previous name. Scourge.

She loved hero stories even before the reformatting which is why it stayed. Her claws and fangs? They were taken a way (her fangs grew back occasionally and she’d have to file them down).

Anyways:

So like ( @transingthoseformers ) the idea of Optimus having a Decepticon mentor/ carrier who adores their child? Oh my Primus that’s so good!

If it happened to that Optimus, Overlord would fight everyone. He’d pick Optimus up and botnap him!

Oh! Oh! Tarn is Ariel’s and Optimus’ honorary older brother, Optimus and him somehow have similar faces in my au. He’s over protective and over affectionate when it’s his day off. He wears sweaters and walks a round while carrying both Ariel and Optimus in his arms.

After marrying Eric, Ariel becomes queen-consort of his kingdom. At eighteen, she becomes a mother and is paranoid for her baby's safety. Twelve years later, Ariel is the thirty-year-old Queen who struggles to keep track of her tween daughter. In addition, she neglects to tell her child about her merfolk origins, nor does she talk to her about the dangers of the ocean or how to avoid them. Instead, Ariel lets her fear control her and she angrily yells at her for disobeying her parental order. Despite being overprotective, she regrets not sharing her world with her daughter and does everything to find her. In the end, Ariel apologizes to her child and wants her to be happy regardless of what world she chooses to live in.

In 2024, I saw people online celebrating my middle school and high school art while wishing me well due to my disappearance. I'm happy to say that I am well after a rough post-Covid era and a lot of growing up. During Covid's reign, I had purged the internet of what I viewed to be carbon footprints, yet people have kept the light alive in some dust clouds.

I am eternally grateful to you all for retaining such light. As the blooming adult I am now, I've learned to view everything with balance—including the broken person I was—and there are lovely works that I dearly miss as a result. Those works are the "darlings" from my young life.
