Hey, is it okay if you give me some tips on how to use Procreate? I'm most likely going to get an Ipad for Christmas, along with Procreate, and moving to another art program is hard 😅, plus, so I don't get confused on what to do lol

Ooh that’s awesome! 😍😍😍 I hope you get it! Procreate is AMAZING. Once you get used to it, it’s super easy to use. It’s not all that great with animation (just a bit glitchy when it comes to saving them), so I would still use a different app for that. But there are a bunch of really amazing brushes, so I definitely suggest playing around with them and figuring out which ones best fit your art style. 😁

Here are some brushes I personally love using:

•The Monoline brush for inking and line art

•Round Brush for coloring in larger areas

•Brush Pen for lines that taper off at the end, like hair or facial features.

•Dove Lake for texturing things like plants and trees

•Currawong for texturing walls and buildings

•I use Twisted Tree with a super light opacity to texture anything made of wood, like tree trunks or rafters.

•Clay on a lower opacity is good for texturing anything made of stone

•Wildgrass on a lower capacity can be used to make some cool textured grass

•And of course, I love to use anything in the Luminance folder to make things SHINY AND SPARKLY 😜🤣

Those are just a few of my favorites. There are some really cool features in the top tabs, too. A Drawing Guide, blur features, liquifying tool. You can duplicate layers, or change their opacity; all sorts of things that I’m sure different drawing apps have, but they’re super easy to use on here! And so far, I haven’t discovered very many glitches with the app (one app I used to have would crash on the regular, and I would lose an entire drawing I spent hours on. But as many years as I have had Procreate, it has only crashed two or three times and my drawing was exactly as it was when I went back into it).

One tip I would tell you to use that I do all the time is quick erasing: Tap the screen with two fingers at once, and it will erase your last action. You can do it numerous times to erase however many of your previous actions that you want. You can also redo those deleted actions by tapping the screen with three fingers at once. Just something useful that took me a while to learn about. 😊

Oh, and when it comes to saving a drawing, I tend to save it as a PNG; better quality.

So, what is it?

I’m honestly trying to not pay too much attention to their drama, because it’s evident that drama is exactly what they want. This troll is making it abundantly clear that they have the mental intelligence of a toddler, spewing out their psychotic rants like a tantrum. And what happens to toddlers when they throw a tantrum? They eventually wear themselves out. That’s what will happen, so we just have to continue to be the bigger person until they finally lay down for their nap. 😌

(And no, that is absolutely NOT IN ANY WAY a death threat like the ridiculous ones the anti is tossing out. It’s a continuation of the toddler metaphor. Anyone who tells people they should go kill themselves and thinks that they are the one in the right has zero concept of what is right and what is wrong.)

Yep, you’re certainly not the only one. They targeted pretty much everyone in the fandom they could find who ships Varian with any of the characters on the show. 😅

They literally even sent that message to minors. Like, what? 🤨

All of that is your opinion, but thank goodness not everyone has to have the same opinion. 😁

I reference Chris Sonnenburg because, despite how much people hate him, he still was the director. He determined what was canon and not-canon. When he said it was canon that Cass liked Andrew, it wasn’t meant in a way that she was with him because of it. Obviously, she did it to foil him (duh). But that, along the way, she was attracted to him. I have even seen people ship them together, where she helps to reform him kind of like Rapunzel did with Eugene.

As for Cassarian, again, there is nothing wrong with age gaps. Raps and Eugene, themselves, have quite a significant one, as do a lot of canon couples in media that people don’t even realize. My own parents have a 17-year age gap, so it’s definitely something that has never bothered me. 😂

Just because you can’t see two characters being together, doesn’t mean that others can’t or shouldn’t. I absolutely could see it happening. In fact, people who have read my fanfics say that I write the characters so well that it’s just like watching the show. And yes, I have even had some non-Cassarian shippers read out of curiosity, and they have said that they understand the ship more now.

And if we’re saying that something is canon just because a worker on the show said it, we might as well say Cassarian is canon as well because there were workers who shipped it, too. 😆

In conclusion, I’m not here to tear apart anyone’s headcanons about Cassunzel. I, personally, do see them as sisters, but I don’t attack anyone who sees them as something more. The only reason I continue to inform people that Cass is not a canon lesbian is is because others are constantly using it as an excuse to bully me into why I shouldn’t ship my favorite ship, when I have every right to ship whatever I want just as they have that right.

Just please remember that everybody has different opinons, and that is okay. Not everyone has to think the same. 💜

Basically, I feel that Varian and Cassandra are the only ones who could truly understand each other after having such similar villainous pasts. It’s clear on the series that Varian cares for her, and though it would take a long time I do think Cassandra could fall for him eventually once she realizes how well he understands her (I portray this in my fanfic, “I’m Done Holding Back”).

Also, I’m a sucker for a ship with a tough/fiery girl and dopey/clumsy guy. 😂 I have quite a few favorite ships that are similar.

But I would also like to point out again (as I have before) that Cassandra is NOT a canon lesbian. A character designer on the show said she personally saw Cass as such, and people ran with it thinking, “Oh, she works on the show. So it must be canon!” But having known people who work in that industry, character designers have nothing to do with what is canon. The person who does have every say in what is canon is the director, and Chris Sonnenburg (the director/show-runner of TTS) confirmed that Cassandra liked Andrew in the episode “Under Raps” (he said the look on her face in the final scene of the episode proved it). He never once confirmed that Cassandra was a lesbian.

I respect people’s headcanons, and I can see how they would think that she is. But no, it is not canon. 💜
