When I first heard that one of the main characters in Quantum Leap is a hologram, I wasn't quite sure what that means. My initial thought was that the guy traveling through time somehow makes himself a friend to feel less lonely and not lose his mind. Then I found out no, the hologram is just an existing person projecting his image through time and space, very much alive and living his life.

I was relieved by this because my god, can you imagine how absolutely tragic that would be?

ignore the fact that i've literally never talked about quantum leap on here i am now. anyway i have seen many posts about sam being trans (thanks nox) but i have yet to see someone mention the. the first line he says in the episode where he's a woman for the first time is "i'm gonna be called by my own name" like??!? ik it was probably meant as a kind of joke where "oh he thinks it's going to be nice and comfortable he'll even get called his own name but haha really it's not because he's a woman >:)" but like. the transgenderism
