gotta be honest with you, i'm not too sure about this thing ppl say of "conservatives" being irrationally opposed to "trans people just existing" or whatever. i guess controversial take but no they actually have very concrete reasons to oppose bodily autonomy and the destabilization of sexual roles we represent considering their views on sex/gender and social reproduction overall actually. obviously we must oppose those views as they are 1. wrong and 2. oppressive but like. it's not like they just chose a random minority to hate. i mean otherwise why do you think it's specifically us.

ok things very miserable right now so it feels nice to be reflective on how these played out in january:

collaged 2/5 weeks (with this prompt in mind) and journaled a bit...

missed a zine deadline/submission which sucked :(

cooked from a cookbook extensively! maybe 4-5 times per week most weeks last month

exploring gender in january has been wearing a packer; treating that guy like flat stanley and texting my friends things like 'taking my dick to the movies'

unprompted told multiple friends i wanted to start dating seriously again, a level of personal accountability almost unheard of from me on this front

aspirations for 2025:

keep seeing live music at least every other wk
