Ayo I think if you guys are of the belief that queer is a slur (it is) then you should also be trigger tagging it. In that same vein, the f-slur, d-slur and t-slur are all still slurs and should also be tagged accordingly. Like you guys are convincing me you don't actually know why these words are slurs, but you know they're offensive and that you think reclamation means saying them to random lgbt people and then judging how "radical" those people are by whether they react or not. You're just an asshole.

Like I get the reclamation part of fully embracing yourself and the act of leaning hard into a word usually used with malice but this idea that these slurs aren't a massive point of genuine fear for your fellow LGBT people is insane. Y'all are acting like children that learned a new curse word and it's really ugly.

And before someone says anything, I know not all of these are slurs around the world, but they are to some people. They don't need to be universal to be recognized as slurs by the people who hear them the most.

It’s insane how common homophobia is among these people. The obsession they have with lesbians is sickening; it makes me want to vomit. Bi women liking feminine boys is not "fetishization". Fem men aren't inherently gay or bi. Straight women liking fem men is not fetishization either.
