Voltages 3 New Titles for 2024

The japanese Version of Love 365 announced 3 new titles for this year. The first one will already release at the end of April.

My childhood friend - My second first love (Late April)

The title boy is called Kuroe Kento (黒江健斗). MC seems to be engaged at the start of the story however her fiance betrays her and it seems like she is seeking comfort in Kuroes arms. Her childhood friend has grown into a fine man.

The premise feels similar to My Last First Kiss, Love Brings You Home or maybe even Kings of Paradise.

Head over Heels Marriage - I'm too obsessed with my wife to let her go (June)

The title man's name is Mikoshiba Kazuma (御子柴和真). MC starts of happily married with her man, living their best life in his suite. However, things feels too perfect, is really truly everything okay?

I gotta say this title seems to be the most mysterious. The guy could be shady, or maybe does not have as much money as he deems or he is just overly smitten by his wife and does not give her much room to breath and pampers her rotten

From the premise it looks a bit like Oops I Said Yes or maybe even the untranslated Honey Moon title.

I could also imagine it to be a more wholesome or realistic Kissed by the Baddest Bidder without the auctions? Anyways the guy reminds me a bit of a mix of Kunihiro and Kazuomi (at least on the cover)

Kiss Me Until Daybreak (August)

The last of the three protagonists is called Iriyama Tsubaki (入山椿). MC is hopelessly in love with the man but he is not interested in a relationship. Luckily friends with benefits is rather popular these days so she might just be able to convince him in that way.

This title seems to be a bit more angsty and emotional compared to the others. It gives me Irresistible Mistakes and Hiroki from My Last First Kiss vibes. Und

Anyways this is whats to come in the near future.

My opinions under the cut

In my opinion the titles give a more mature vibe and feel a bit like soft versions of the adult site Otona / Koi100 More. (The More stories that we are currently getting are from the for example, though they have their exclusive titles too).

I have to admit none of the titles really caught my eyes right away and they feel more like Oneshots similar to Perfect Boyfriend or A World With(Out) You. They somehow lack the... glow? of other Voltage titles, but I'd gladly get proven wrong 😄 Currently i cannot see them having multiple seasons or even multiple characters? Plotwise i'm most curious about the Marriage title, artwose Kiss Until Daybreak even though I'm not that much of a fan of friends with benefits. The sprite of childhood friend looks good to me!

I feel like Voltage might be stalling for time until they can continue with Kings of Paradise or Tokyo Love Hustle.

I felt like instead of just relationship / romance focus I would have loved another supernatural or action series (which is why i really hope they'll continue TLH) because they feel similar to other titles. Voltage has proven that they are great with the supernatural themes with Court of Darkness or Even if Tempest, so i'm definitely excited about their new Switch titles. I just wish they gave a gem to Love 365 too haha.

Anyways let's wait and see.

Daybreak is a fan project based on the 2008 game "Spore" that will (someday) be adapted into a webcomic. It is heavy Grox-Centric with elements of hard science fiction and speculative biology. It's been my passion project since sometime in 2019 :)

2. Describe their tent setup! What’s on the outside? The inside?

Ooooooh, you know our girl’s got it POPPIN’ in there.

- The tent: Her rectangular tent is sapphire blue, her favorite color, and cream. She wanted something flashier, but was gently advised by her companions to avoid something that could draw attention.

- The exterior decorations:

- A large, hand-tufted rug is the centerpiece. Naturally, the rug is red; she rolled out the red carpet for herself, much to her chagrin. On a wooden side table, there’s a music box she found while looking for supplies.

- Sitting not-so-inconspicuously in the corner is a tall water pipe with two hoses attached to it. She insists that it’s decorative, but she and Karlach have crept off into the woods with it a time or two. They’re often carrying a small pouch of something… herbaceous smelling.

- A flimsy mirror because even when she’s covered in goblin guts, girlie has to look like a snack.

- Inside of the tent:

- So many blankets. So. Many. Blankets. Astarion even says his blood runs warmer than Dulcinea’s with how cold she is all the time.

- There’s a small rack that holds her camp clothes, organized by color.

- Decorative pillows, which she hoards like a squirrel hoards nuts.

6. How would the player go about meeting them in Act 1? What is their introduction?

You find her just beyond the Nautiloid crash site with intellect devourer guts at her feet. She’s sobbing uncontrollably. When you ask her why, she’s not upset about the circumstances she’s in. She’s upset that her shoes are ruined and there’s a stain on her dress.

When the two of you realize that you both have tadpoles, she acquiesces to a mutually beneficial agreement and agrees (reluctantly) to make herself useful in some way. You may have to teach her to do laundry, but she does figure it out. Eventually.

13. What is your Tav’s main color palette? Why do they choose those colors?

I’m not great at color analysis but I thiiiink I’d place her as a warm autumn. She favors dark, rich tones — navy blue, deep greens, brick reds.

27. Give us one of your Tav’s secrets!

While she was at Blackstaff on a nepo baby scholarship, she would sneak out all the damn time. The sneaking out was a known quantity. What people didn’t know, however, is what she got up to at those parties she went to.

Once, Dulcinea got wrapped up in a game of strip three dragon ante where the loser was not only naked, but had their clothes outright taken away. Her spellcasting was trash, but she managed to cast invisibility on herself just long enough to make it back to the dorm before daybreak.

27. What is the worst thing they’ve ever done/said to someone they love?

“Don’t wear that robe. You know the one I’m talking about.” This is regarding Gale’s incredibly ragged, but highly iconic purple robe. She arranges a weekend for them in the Upper City and instructs him to dress accordingly, which unfortunately excludes his threadbare robe. The wavemother robe on the other hand…

🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?

oh i 100% need music when i'm writing! i listen to a lot of instrumentals, osts, and also vocal-less (karaoke) versions of voiced songs because sometimes I do find lyrics a bit distracting. i've been writing a lot of fic from honkai star rail lately, so naturally the songs i have on loop were from the Svah Sanishyu (Xianzhou Luofu) album: namely Serene Stroll and Warden of Jade. in general i've also been writing a lot (cross fandom) to Stories of Remote Antiquity which until today still remains my favouritest soundtrack from genshin.

okay i'm gonna cheat and put two, because i think they're sweet in different ways. please also note that they're both fics that are around 1000 words - this is the only way my fics can stay sweet and fluffy, or else angst inevitably sneaks in 😂

gosh, i have to think about this. i think "hope" as a theme is definitely one, also anything to do with long distance relationships (friendships too) and moving countries and stuff because that's a topic that's personal to me - if the fandom/pairing in question is related in any way to those topics, i will address it in my fic. also the importance of chosen names and titles and stuff like honorifics/ nicknames/ diminutives. like it's obvious in some fandoms (looking at you, James Bond fandom), but also, please know that i've actually draw a chart to remind myself how the five main characters in my MP100 gen fic address each other so i can write that accurately.

but also i just looked at the last bunch of fics i've written and they all have the same two characters drinking beverages in different ways but mainly as a comfort/togetherness sort of thing. this is kind of hilarious to me are my readers sick of me writing jy and dh like this? too bad you're getting more. maybe one day i'll write them actually eating food instead lol

2023 Bahamas Cruise, Part 4, Mar. 10-12. Morgans Bluff to Normans Cay, to Sandy Cay to Lee Stocking Island.

This is, Natalie, our friend from Islamorada. She and her husband left one week before us and went directly to the Jumentos as quick as they could. She is holding a really, really large Crawfish, at least by Florida standards. But these are kind of common this far south in the Bahamas. Deep water canyons allow them to grow to this size without being caught. Q: What is the easiest job in the world? A: Bahama Minister of Tourism.

Our time time in Andros was short and we are looking forward to coming back, but we need to make haste heading south. Cold fronts are still coming down, the water is 75 degrees and chilly. We were under way at 0538 weaving our way through the anchorage. When we first showed up five days earlier we were the eighth boat in the anchorage. Three were “cats”, one Hatteras yacht, and three other sloops. Four were buddy boating. One of the cats was from Tavernier, the next town up from ours.

As we left there were about ten boats, with only two cats in the bunch. One was an old trimaran. No fancy mega yachts here. No chartered catamarans. Pretty quiet group and little drama.

Windy App is my go to for wind and wave prediction. Friday was the smoothest ride across the Tougue Of The Ocean (TOTO). It would be a bit lumpy at daybreak but getting better as the day went on. We have been beat up before crossing TOTO into steep short spaced waves. See the photo below of our buddy remora boat in March of 2023 crossing TODO.

This year the crossing was smooth. We just set a straight line for Normans Cay 73 nautical miles away. The day started out a bit chilly at the helm and we made notes to bring some warmer clothes for sailing the nightshift.

This is a screen shot of our chartplotter while crossing TODO. Our boat is depicted bottom center with a red icon over it. Just to the left shows a depth of 8500 ft.. To put this in perspective, if you stacked 45 Empire State Buildings on their side. They would still not break the surface.

By the time we finished the day crossing White Bank south of New Providence the seas were glassy calm. Winds had been mostly on our nose and seldom more than 30 degrees off all day.

Beans were cooked in a pressure cooker while underway. Pressure cookers save a tremendous amount of propane fuel.

This year we bought a Hot Spot from Aliv to use in the Bahamas. It is working great. It allowed me to check the weather as we approached Normans, I changed my plans on anchoring right off the island. Winds were due to pick up after midnight from the SW. So I tucked further off shore behind a sand boar hoping to break some of the waves. This would also give us a quick departure in the morning.

We woke early with the boat pitching on the anchor in 2 ft. waves. Today would be a 32 mile sailing day on a beam reach to Sandy Cay. There are few places to hide from SW - W - NW winds in the Exumas. Sandy Cay was our favorite.

Taking turns on the helm and resting. Lots of sailboat activity on this route today. We were the “privileged vessel” with wind coming over our starboard rail. So I tacked a bit further upwind allowing the “burdened vessels” to clear any sand bores and run their course.

Our anchorage was fairly calm, with only two other boats nearby. We dropped the dinghy and took a quick bath at the stern. Water is still chilly at 78.5 F. When we woke in the morning our anchor was in sight 30 feet away directly on our left. Currents and wind have that effect here. Neither is strong enough when they oppose each other, to straighten out the anchor chain. Game plan for the day is head outside for Lee Stocking Island after topping off jerry jugs in Staniel.

Using two of the diesel jerry jugs on the deck we put 8 gallons in the tank assuming we had burned 10 gallons since Andros. Nancy is using the “jiggle hose” to siphon the diesel out of the jugs. We also ran the watermaker for an hour as soon as the solar panels could keep up.

We ran the gauntlet of boats anchored between Big Majors Spot and Little Majors Spot. At least 40 boats were anchored in here hiding from the SW winds.

The fuel dock at Staniel Cay Yacht Club is first come - first serve. We were number 3 in line. It took almost 2 hours to get our 8 gallons of fuel. Boats were taking 40 minutes each. Once it was our turn we tied up, Nancy ran the trash to the trash tailer. I pumped 4 gallons in each jerry jug, then quickly walked to the office to pay. Nancy met me there. We were off the dock in 10 minutes.

The Exuma Sound is 5000 ft. deep, but was smooth all day as we motored to Adderly Cut.

Our son, Lars, recently bought a PDQ 34 power cat. Only 106 were ever made, and we just found one tucked behind Lee Stocking Island. Named “Headway”, it was flying a “Great Loop” flag on the bow. Which is a circle with the Mississippi on the West side and the Intercostal Waterway on the East side. The Great lakes connecting them on the North, and the Gulf of Mexico on the South.

Absolutely stunning sunset, unfortunately we were a hair north and could not see a green flash due to the tip of Normans Pond Cay.

SPIN OFF: FROM THE WITNESS Epilogue Analysis

Soooo, Ateez dropped this out of the blue bird and i'm trying to connect the dots 🧐

First of all we see Seonghwa being draw by the blue bird and following it...

...only to find the person we saw in Halazia that only he seems to be able to see...

(that I still have absolutely no idea who it is).

He walks along the corridor with a torch in his hand to shed light, on the floor he finds a bracelet and he picks it up...

(This scene is shown to us later but, according to the light of the torch that illuminates it, it happened before he entered the room where he sees those four unknown people)

Perhaps you recognised it already, in any case, it's the bracelet the girl left behind in the Fever Diary Film...

...the event that led Seonghwa to the realization that music was the way for him to have a purpose and be free.

1) First of all let's not forget what Hongjoong said about Spin Off: From the Witness...

A "spin-off" is something derivative of an earlier work, usually starring a character that has a secondary role in the main work as the mc.

Then, this release works as filling us with more new questions an introduction of new motifs that are connected to Seonghwa's character and are going to help us understand future events.

2) Second of all, let's go through the symbolic meanings of the blue bird 🐦

Around the world, bluebirds have a wide variety of associations and meanings, all of which carry positive connotations. Some believe the bluebird is a symbol of joy and hope; others, that good news will be arriving soon. Others still think that bluebirds represent a connection between the living and those who have passed away. Native American tribes in particular associated bluebirds with the return of spring after winter, prosperity and even fertility. (credits)

My mind instantly connected this to the feelings Seonghwa seems to express in Paradigm (you can read what I think about it here).

Pairing it with the bracelet, I think Seonghwa's needed to be reminded why he started this journey in the first place and his purpose, to be able to go on and not lose hope in a better future.

ok, so a little update jo, not much of one, but I actually spoke to him today! I was v anxious and we locked eyes while he was fixing the salad bar 👉👈 but I panicked and just blurted out ‘umm excuse me, hi, do you know why the garden centre is closed?’ IM SO BAD AT THIS AJSKSK 😂😂 so yeah we had a lil chat about that, but that’s it but also this whole situation is getting me thinking…

Imagine getting a job at like b&q or something just bc you saw kiri lifting the timber over his shoulder and carrying it to the tills for some older couple 🥺🥺 ur on the lil paint mixing station so you can see him walking back and forth the big aisle, he catches you looking a few times and sends a couple of cheeky winks. before coming over and asking for help mixing a colour for his home gym, maybe if you come over and have a better look at the place and the swatches on the walls, it’ll help him make a decision 👉👈 and now that’s why you’re bent over the bench getting pounded facing the huge mirror 🥺

OMG NO BUT IM SO PROUD OF YOU BECAUSE YOU DID IT! You talked to him and omg you had a little convo?! Did he seem sweet, was he smiling?! Omg this is good so now you’ve done that you can start saying hi to him whenever you’re in!!!

And omg imagine Kirishima helping people carry those heavy logs of timber or helping old ladies pick out soil or plants for their gardens. Being an absolute gentleman and carrying the bits and pieces to their cars?🥺

And on his way back he can’t help but spot you standing by the paint, looking at those little card swatches as you try to decide on a colour as he approaches you, and you tell him with a smile that you’re redoing your bedroom and you’re unsure whether to pick “candyfloss sunrise” or “morning daybreak.” Mentioning if one was just a hint darker it would be perfect, and of course that’s when he’s telling you to stay there as he goes to mix the colour together to do just that— handing you a swatch sample as he tells you to try it out and see how it looks😩 but then him offering to help you paint when you come back in to buy the paint the custom shade he made for you, he’s now offering to help you paint when you tell him you’re doing it all by yourself. And then you’re bent over your vanity, dried paint all over both of you as he pounds into you from behind👀

I passed out in the grass. It takes longer than usual for my senses to return to me. Dawn breaks in the east. It grips it’s warm, unfeeling hands on the land; The blades of unruly grass sway with the leaves of fig trees and intertwined oak in the terrible waltz of daybreak. The damp dirt is earthy, dead tones of brown, accented with grey pebbles of deepslate. I lie, unmoving like the red sky, like red poppies; like dry blood. The sun paints the oleanders in holy shades of vermeil gold and scarlet. I bask in the cool, damp, vastness of it all. My red hair, slick with rain and ichor. I soak in the lonely quiet. I'll get moving eventually, I just wanna stay here a little longer.

chapter 1 — kenma kozume/tetsurou kuroo · fluff & angst · 1.6k words

summary: in which kenma is a shut-in youtuber and kuroo is a delivery boy. ↳ next

one more.

kenma kozume flicked his mouse and clicked — right on time, as he shot an enemy moving toward him from behind.

he was in top form tonight. manipulating his avatar with ease across the battlefield, kenma moved in leaps and bounds as he took out enemies coming toward him left and right. he squinted at his screen, his gaze far too intense for… what was it now? a glance at the toolbar on his computer read 3:41 am.

kenma turned his attention back to the game, a first-person shooter that had been getting popular in the past few weeks — a game that his subscribers on youtube had been calling on him to play.

he never thought he would gain popularity on youtube - enough for him to afford his own apartment in his first year of university. Or that his personality, of all things, was the reason for that popularity. under the username kodzuken, kenma started off by releasing videogame let’s plays and reviews in his free time, eventually expanding to q&as and the occasional vlog. His audience had become a community, and kenma found himself uploading more and more over time to meet its demands.

and it looked like his next upload was going to be a let’s play.

one more, just one more -

the doorbell rang.

kenma flinched in alarm, and his momentary lapse in concentration was enough for the surrounding enemies to swarm him. kenma leaned back into his chair, scowling in frustration at his computer as his avatar on-screen was hit by a bomb, defeated in an explosion that sent arcs of light and color ricocheting across kenma’s apartment.

the doorbell rang again, and then again. kenma rubbed his eyes as he stood up, groaning at the abrasiveness of the noise crashing through his ears at this late into the night. he shuffled to the door of his apartment, grumbling incoherently in response to the disturbance that had cost him the stage.

for kenma, nights like tonight weren’t always spent gaming until daybreak — not even in high school, a time when the size of his youtube channel was nothing in comparison to the hundreds of thousands of subscribers he had now. at some point, days studying turned into nights gaming, and textbooks on game theory hid under stacks of notes about content, content, content. when he moved to tokyo for university, something changed.

opening the door to his apartment, kenma was met with the chest of a man wearing what looked like a uniform. kenma narrowed his eyes at the company labeled on his uniform’s shirt, disoriented before remembering oh, that’s right; he’d ordered takeout.

“you answered!” kenma winced at the enthusiasm in the delivery guy’s voice. it was far too late in the night - or early in the morning? - for human interaction. “kozume kenma-san, right? i’m new, so i wasn’t sure if i had the right place.”

you have the right place, alright. kenma thought irritably, humming an indication that the reason behind the end of kenma’s win streak indeed had the right place. as kenma was pulling out his wallet, his eyes flitted to the delivery guy’s name tag.

kuroo. his name is kuroo.

“a bit late to be eating dinner,” he commented, as kenma fumbled through change and receipts littered throughout his wallet.

kenma stopped. his gaze moved up from his wallet to look the delivery guy in the face. the brightness of the hallway blared bright shades of white and gold into his eyes, and it took kenma a second to adjust to the sudden rush of light after a long night of gaming.

the first thing that stood out to kenma was the guy’s hair. did he use gel? mousse? whatever it was, it made him look absurd. dark, black hair sticking up in odd angles, in odd places - partially hanging over… what color was that? hazel. hazel eyes. he looked like he was around kenma’s age. a slight smirk was playing on his face, much to kenma’s annoyance.

“a bit late to be annoying customers,” kenma responded flatly, his attention returning back to his wallet.

he blinked in surprise at kenma’s retort, before his face split back into a smirk. “just trying my hand at customer-to-business relations. how did i do?”

disruptive, like that explosion. yet despite himself, kenma found himself fighting a smile.

“stay in foodservice,” kenma replied as he swiped his card across the mobile card reader, biting the inside of his cheek in the effort of hiding his amusement.

“foodservice, kozume-san!” he half-stepped back, mouth agape in false indignation. “after i graciously delivered — ”

“and while you’re at it,” kenma continued, trying to ignore him as he tucked his card back into his wallet and grabbed his order from kuroo’s outstretched arm. “knock next time… kuroo.”

at the sound of a beep from the reader, kenma closed the door in kuroo’s face. exhaling with a sigh, kenma dropped the food in his arms onto a table nearby before making his way to one of the many windows lining his apartment walls. lifting it open, kenma felt the night breeze blow past him, bringing with it the sounds of rushing crowds and distant traffic. the soft glow of the streetlights below him casting light into the darkness. the smell of fresh takeout wafting throughout his apartment. the early morning hours after a long night of gaming. the feeling of solitude after that conversation with… what was his name? ah, right.

kuroo.

kenma smiled to himself, recalling the look on kuroo’s face when he called his name. a mixture of surprise and curiosity. as annoying as he was, his company was… warm. he guessed. he guessed that it was a nice change from the cold of his apartment on nights like these.

he also guessed that maybe, just maybe, he wouldn’t actually mind a next time.

outside, lights were flickering out across the city skyline. from where he was, kenma could make out kuroo’s silhouette mounting a moped and driving into the night. his previous frustrations dissipating as the night stilled, kenma turned away from the window, settling back into his chair and starting up his computer once more.

“you again.”

he was pulling yet another all-nighter. a knock at his apartment door had led to kenma opening it, eager for the delivery of his first and only meal of the day — only to be met with that too-familiar lopsided grin and unruly hair.

“well,” kuroo chuckled, holding out kenma’s order with a smirk. “you did say ‘next time,’ kozume-san.”

it had been a few days since he’d first met kuroo — if meeting someone for the first time meant insults thrown back and forth and closing the door in kuroo’s face. someone like kuroo was new to kenma, someone who was… familiar. overwhelmingly familiar. rolling his eyes, he took his order with a huff; kenma must be imagining the warmth behind his eyes, and the way he held kenma’s order - amongst others - with care. 

“couldn’t they have sent someone else?” kenma grumbled, swiping his card across kuroo’s card reader. “someone who doesn’t make me lose a game whenever they knock at my door?”

“a game?” kuroo cocked his head to the side, the smirk on his face softening to a smile. “what kind of game?”

kenma flinched; he didn’t mean to let that slip.

“uh…,” kenma muttered, his voice growing quieter as he looked away. god, this was embarrassing. kuroo must be embarrassed for him; kenma would be.

kenma stole a glance at kuroo’s face, fully expecting a look of pity, or worse - mockery. But kuroo’s smile was… warm. full of genuine curiosity.

he actually wants to know.

the thought made kenma’s embarrassment fade into comfort, as he turned to look back up at kuroo’s face.

“a videogame. it was a videogame,” he finished tentatively. to kenma’s surprise, kuroo’s eyes lit up in eagerness.

“a videogame, huh?” kuroo hummed playfully, tapping a finger on his chin for… effect, kenma gathered. “how about you teach me how to play it sometime?”

“...you?”

kenma hadn’t thought of it before. of befriending kuroo, outside of takeout deliveries and derisive conversation. looking at kuroo now, he realized that he might, might not hate the thought. 

“i don’t even know your first name,” kenma confessed, his voice soft with sincerity.

now kuroo was surprised, pausing before giving a response. “it’s tetsurou,” he replied, eyes widened. “kuroo tetsurou.”

“tetsurou…?”

kuroo nodded emphatically, and kenma found himself biting the inside of his cheek again at the widening grin on kuroo’s face.

“it doesn’t suit you.”

kuroo only laughed in response, smiling happily at kenma as the two lapsed into silence. a comfortable silence — until kuroo started, snapping kenma back to reality.

“i have to go make other deliveries!” he exclaimed, pocketing his card reader in a hurry. kenma looked on, amused as he watched kuroo shift the remaining orders in his arms. “i’ll, uh, see you around?”

“see you around,” kenma waved him off, fighting yet another smile as kuroo waved back with his signature smirk now warm from their chat.

kuroo tetsurou.

closing the door, kenma settled back into his apartment’s sitting room, where he had left his television running a game. unbeknownst to himself, kenma was smiling. he looked out the window, watching gray clouds pass over stars in the sky. the moon seemed brighter than usual, illuminating the streets below as kenma watched kuroo drive out of sight once again.

it doesn’t suit him. not at all.
