They dream of owning only the finest things and being associated with the highest echelon of neighborhood Sims. -> Pyromaniacs are able to transmogrify any fruit into flame fruit, start fires for a short time without destroying objects and can survive for up to three hours while on fire. When they are on fire their moodlet will be positive instead of negative. Eating flame fruit will recover some energy.

Betty is named after Betty Boop - the famous cartoon character / old hollywood starlet!

Anyways not too sure what I want to call this AU but I've kinda settled on "The Blocks".

More about it undercut if you care idk:

I don’t want to say much about them because I want to write fanfic about this and I don’t want to spoil it so sorry if this sounds barebones or is confusing :(

Some quick before things: This AU is in a world where all of humanity has been forced into a highly structured society. Basically everyone was kidnapped and forced into cryosleep except for people part of this secret organization who’ve begun to create this super structured world

Cities are just numbered and under each city are the “Blocks”, 4 per city, 1 a daycare, the other three for people 18+. Blocks all have 100 members (people who have been awoken from cryosleep) and have a strict ruleset, if a member breaks a rule, they’re killed. The last remaining member is allowed to leave and live in the “new world”. Daycares don’t do that (kill members (kids)) they just teach them to follow the new rules. They also get their education there so once they’ve graduated they’re allowed to leave.

(⚾Scout) Jeremy, Block Master Assistant (Block 3)

He’s the main character or something. His one goal is to be a Block Master because his dad works as the admin for the blocks and would always come home talking about it and he just thought it was the coolest thing.

(🇺🇸Soldier) Block Master Doe (Block 2)

Think the most like patriotic, pro-american (but not for america), drill sergeant- so he’s basically the same person. For every AU I make where Soldier is included he’s always the same person because I just love him so much.

(🔥Pyro) Moe/Puff, Block Daycare Attendant (Block 1)

They’re mute :3 They help Heavy in the daycare and their pyromaniac thing isn’t there, they’re just insane. They see the whole world as Pyroland but not everything has to be on fire for it, they’re just like that. Also Moe is their name but Puff is what they let all the kids call them because they're always wearing a puffy jacket

(💣Demo) Tavish, Block Master Assistant (Block 2)

He’s very laid back, he might genuinely let people get away with offenses as long as Doe didn’t see it, he’s mostly there to keep Doe in check and also because I’m a boots and bombs shipper and they’re gay :3

(🧸Heavy) Mikhail, Block Daycare Teacher (Block 1)

Leader of Block 1/the daycare. Block 1 leaders are really nice because they’re whole job is to just teach/watch over kids so he’s just genuinely wholesome :) He tries to get the other Block Masters (Ludwig & Doe) to be better but he’s given up on Doe and Ludwig might be too far gone

(🔧Engie) Dell, Block Maintenance Overseer

There are teams of people who maintain the blocks (he’s one of them), He works with the Admin and Block Masters to keep Blocks up to date. Currently he’s a bit busy because Block 4 had some accident that no one is allowed to know about and it’s not working but everything is totally fine guys 👍

I could’ve just used TF2’s administrator but I have another idea for her and then I also wouldn’t’ve known what to do with Mr. Spy. He’s like the mayor of City 16 but he mostly looks over the Blocks, not the whole thing.

They are that one kid who makes the best paper airplane in class

Always playing or fidgeting with something

Even with the ADHD/ADD it's on a whole other level 

In the mortal world, they are the kids who can make anything out of paper

Like origami type shit

Not all Hephaestus demigods are good with mechanics 

Some are the best artists and sculptures you will meet

Some make jewelry 

Most are major pyromaniacs

Starts with playing with the candle wax, and next it’s getting shit on fire

Would naturally smell like smoke and the hint of oil/rust 

Not afraid to get their hands dirty 

Def the type of kid to eat sand or dirt

Just get that vibe 

Ikea is their safe place

Don’t even the manual when putting stuff together 

They just know

Would be tradies or artists if they make it past their teen years

Or maybe even nature photographers

They prefer the heat to the cold 

Mostly because they can better handle the heat

I get big brunette or black hair vibes from them

Don’t know why, but I just feel like that is a common factor between all of them

During their time at camp, they get big

Mostly because they are made to work in forge

Everyone, no matter what

Would get along well with the Athena and Poseidon cabins the best

They learn best with hands-on type learning 

I could say that they don’t get along with the Aphrodite cabin 

But I don’t think it is so cut and dry

We know they can

Take a look at Charles and Silena 

And I think there are more friendships then relationships 

But when they fight

Take cover

A lot of insults directed at appearances 

On both sides

But they don’t always allow for their parent's relationship to dictate theirs

But the Ares cabin is another story

They're civil for fear of having dessert taken away 

They are expected to provide weapons for the camp 

Which sucks 

Lots of trips to the infirmary because not everyone is immune to fire, like Leo

Makes the best booby (Haha) traps for capture the flag 

Like watch out if you are on the opposite team

I feel like they would be really into Minecraft 

Like let's just say they can have tech at camp

They would have one big world

Where they all play on

And build

I think most of the time, the cabin is a chill place 

They are chill

Not a lot of drama within the cabin

So what IS Inhibit??

Inhibit Book One and Two are on Kickstarter right now, but maybe you've never even heard of the comic before!

Inhibit is an urban sci-fi webcomic about teens with superpowers and depression, growing up in a system that isn't built for people who can't succeed in the very specific way society wants them to. We follow one kid, Vic, who is about to age out of his youth holding centre.

Vic is on track to being shunted into adult housing, but his mentor (in the loosest sense of the word) Nate has other plans for him: join his team at Urquhart, the elite superpowered police force, to fast-track Vic's licence and get him sent back home to a normal life instead.

Sounds like a great plan. Until a run-in with a mysterious arsonist, who decides Vic is the best guy to help her break into Urquhart and achieve some inscrutable goal. Vic is completely fine with this and is very happy to hel -- wait, no, sorry, he isn't, he hates this it sucks.

His birthday, his mentor, and his new stalker aren't all Vic has to worry about. His old classmate Masha tries to make amends for falling out years ago, but after Vic's first disastrous outing with the Urquhart team she begins to get suspicious of Nate and Vic's real motives.

Adding to the chaos are Vic's best friends Julia and David, whose casual relationship with things like "rules" and "getting in trouble" is the bane of Vic's existence.

Julia in particular thinks the whole thing about Vic getting followed home by a pyromaniac is pretty funny actually, and she enthusiastically throws herself into the fray.

It'll be completely fine; Nate definitely has Vic's best interests at heart, Vic will get his licence, and he'll go home. Except the thing his new arsonist companion is seeking might be the very thing Vic needs...

Inhibit is a really fun ride through the fear of failure, childhood trauma, and blowing shit up. Book One was shortlisted for 3 SICBA awards back in 2019, and Book Two is going to look absolutely fantastic with colours by the amazing @spiremint!

Initially, I wasn't into anyone from the Sons of Calydon at all and thought that all the so far announced characters would be an easy skip for me, but after seeing and getting to know Burnice, I ended up fully falling in love with her! I love her cute, fun, and insane little pyromaniac ass and she quickly became one of my favourite characters in the game!
