𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭
• Scout is honestly just bummed you won't be playing any baseball games with him anytime soon
• He strikes me as the type of guy to not take your illness as seriously as he should, often making pokes and jabs of you just wanting to get out of stuff, until he sees one of your bad days with his own eyes
• After that, he's so ashamed of himself for how he acted. Shuffling his feet and rubbing the back of his neck anxiously; all that jazz
• Is a lot more aware of your needs now
• Still puts up a front. Refuses to be anything sort of quote unquote 'manly', so expressing that he's worried about your wellbeing is hard to do in front of the others
• Does care about you, though. He might get teased for it— resulting in the tips of his ears turning red and a bunch of angry denial —but at the end of the day he'll offer up his prized comic books for you to read as a distraction
𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜
• Medic has undoubtedly noticed your condition far before you chose to tell him. How he had figured it out so quick, you had no idea, but he probably found out the same way he knew what your blood type was. Despite never having given him a sample
• It's a bit weird at first, having someone who constantly wants to do invasive surgery on your body actually offering to ease your pain.
• It is Medic after all. A small part of you had been nervously wondering if he would get some sort of sick joy out of watching you struggled to do basic tasks
• Instead, he was giving you special visitation hours with Archemedes while he tinkered with what he dubbed 'Your Problem Area'. Whether that was your knees or back or shoulders, a file on your condition quickly opened and the quickest course of action was taken to remedy it
• Gives you little suckers at the end of your visits and a big smile for a job well done
𝐏𝐲𝐫𝐨
• You aren't sure if they understand what you're saying when you first explain it
• To be fair, you can't decipher them on a normal basis, so this was expected
• But Pyro just tilts their head before letting out what sounded like a sniffling noise and bringing you into a bone crushing hug
• You wouldn't be able to tell, but in their own special Pyro Vision, the arsonist could occasionally see a painful red surrounding you anytime you felt like this. And it pained them to know you were hurting from something other than the scheduled battles
• Colors you crude little drawings with their box of crayons Engineer bought them. It often depicts you and them riding unicorns or jumping over rainbows. Always smiling and having fun
• Takes to plastering little cartoony bandaids over your skin. They don't really solve any actual pain, but the thought is still there
• Will make little fires for you and bring you to them happily. Normally, it's followed by Heavy or Engineer rushing over to put it out before it spread
𝐒𝐧𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐫
• On the off chance that he actually came out of his trailer, Sniper would be awkwardly helpful
• He most likey heard you talking to Medic or complaining to Spy about your chronic pain, and put two and two together
• Why you were shut up in your room durring mealtime somedays, constsntly seen walking in and out of the med bay, taking numerous amounts of pills in the morning, etc
• Is discreet in his care. It'll be little things, like telling Scout to 'lay off mate' if the Bostonian is hounding you about your lackluster performance that day; even if only as a joke
• If Sniper is lucky enough to bag some game on one of the ceasefire days, he'll approach your bedroom door and offer you a bit of the meat he cooked. Won't be offended if you're not up to it, just puts it in the fridge for later if you change your mind. Makes sure that the rest of the team knows it's for you, too
𝐒𝐩𝐲
• Spy is probably the most elegant of the team when acknowledging your condition
• If he's feeling nice when you approach him about it, he'll nod along to your small explanation and even indulge you if you choose to rant about it for a bit
• If he's not in a good mood, then just wait it out. It's not worth the wrath of an angry Frenchman for bothering him. Will become slightly less angered if you explain you were only there to share some vulnerability, however
• Tells you there's no shame in it. As an older man himself, he's no stranger to the pain that comes with this job
• Might allow you to crash in his smoking room a few times if your room is being overrun by the others. Spy knows that you won't pull any funny business on him, and god help anyone that tries to barge in in search of you (namely Scout)
• Content to sit in comfortable silence as you rest up and sleep away the pain. Spy might be a no-good lying back stabber, but at the end of the day, he's still a gentleman

Tunnel of Love
Blue Pyro x Female Reader
AN: your class name is Vet short for Veterinarian
Pyro had a problem, he had a massive choice to make, a choice that would change everything.
He had sat Spy down and held up two identical flame resiatant suits. As if he was asking which one Spy thought looked better.
Sniper looked on, taking a sip of his coffee.
“I don’t get it, they look the exact same”
Heavy shurgged, turning a page in his novel
“To you, but maybe is different for Pyro”
Spy took a drag of his cigarette, looking at the suits with a critical eye. He gestured to the right one
“I personally prefer the two inch inseam with the cleaner hemlines”
Pyro nodded before rushing back to his quarters, eager to take Spys advice.
Sniper handed him a cup of black coffee.
“Was there actually a difference?”
“Of course not, every suit he has is identical, but he wouldn’t leave me alone unless I told him something”
“Odd bloke that one,”
Pyro had always been odd, but the past few weeks, it was really taken up a notch. He had slowly started taking some of the mercs personal hygiene items.
A razor from Demoman, a comb from Sniper, Cologne from Spy, the list went on. While it was strange, the team didn’t think much of it.
Spy handed Sniper a spare cigarette,
“I am all for our firebig friend improving his apperance, whatever that might be”
“What's the use of improving it if we don’t see it?”
Heavy shrugged
“Self confidence?”
But Pyro had a reason, and it was located on the Red Team.
Vet was holding up a pretty good fight, getting to the injured Medic couldn’t. She tossed a med pack at Engineer before going to check on Demoman, carefully avoiding sentries and open sniper spots where she could. She ran into the tunnels, switching on her flashlight.
“Demo?”
She had seen him run in, chasing someone into the tunnels. As Vet went further, she could smell something absolutely foreboding. Smoke.
Vet clicked off her flashlight and immediately turned to get out of the tunnels as quickly as she could.
A thick, gloved hand stopped her from doing so. She didn’t want to look, she really didn’t, she didn’t want to look into the black eye holes of the Blue Pyros mask.
She stood still, waiting for the unbearable heat that came from his flamethrower, but it never came. Vet slowly turned to face him, still waiting for the final blow.
It never came, Pyro cocked his head to the side as if to ask her what was wrong.
“...hi?”
His demenor changed, suddenly elated that she was talking to him. Pyro started to gently pull further into the tunnels, Vet went along. If this is what kept her from burning to death, then she would take it.
As they got deeper, she could see the small, flickering light of candles. Pyro led her to an open area, a blanket laid down on the ground and candles providing light in their dark surroundings. Vet could spot the man-sized lump wrapped in a tarp and shoved to the farthest wall. She knew it was Demo, it was an awful sight but at least he was covered.
Pyro had her sit down on the blanket, holding both hands out to tell her to stay put. Vet did as she was told, fear making a home in the pit of her chest. He came trotting back with a basket filled with MannCo sponsored goods. Vet was stunned, it was filled with jams, dried fruit, and even small chocolate bars. These goods only came once in a blue moon, it would have taken him months to collect all these. Pyro shoved the basket in Vets arms and sat down across from her, gauging her reaction.
“You- you got me these?”
Pyro nodded eagerly and clapped his hands.
“I don’t know what to say,”
She really didn’t. Sure, she had noticed that Pyro never targeted her on the field, but she had assumed that she wasn’t a threat to him. So he never bothered to track her down, but this? This was a confession.
“I’m sorry, I don’t have anything for you, I didn’t know-”
Vet spotted a rip in his suit, exposing charred skin. Demoman must have done some damage before he met his end.
“But I can help with that, let me see your arm”
Pyro was all too happy to thrust his arm over to her, nearly vibrating with excitement. Vet pulled out her supplies and got to work treating the near 3rd degree burn.
“You didn’t feel this?”
Pyro shook his head, followed by a shrug.
“I guess you’ve become numb to it, handling fire like you do”
She treated him like he was glass, careful to not irritate the surrounding scarred skin.
“You should really see your Medic for this, my work won’t last you long”
He looked fascinated at the bandaging she had done, like it was the most precious gift he had ever recieved.
“I wish I could give you more but…but maybe next time?”
Vet couldn’t believe what she just said, did she really just sign herself up for this again? Had she officially lost it?
Pyros head snapped up and starting clapping again with glee.
“Okay, we can do that…without any burnt bodies though”
Pyro nodded and crossed his heart with his finger, making a promise.
At this point, Vet had been gone for awhile, she didn’t know where her team stood in the match. Pyro didn’t seem bothered, but they couldn’t stay there forever.
“Pyro, this has been fun, but we should get back. Our teams need us,”
His shoulders slumped forward but he nodded anyway. Standing up and holding his hand out to help her up. Vet took it, taking note that he was being extra gentle with her.
Pyro never let go over her hand, leading her out the tunnels with ease. When they got to the entrance, he hesitated to let her go
“It’s okay, like I told you, we can do this again,”
This seemed to put him at ease, before he let go. Pyro pressed his mask to Vets cheek before running back down the tunnels. Leaving Vet perplexed and with a basket full of goods. Her cheeks were burning red after his “kiss”. Vet wasn’t exactly sure what happened, but she would be prepared with gifts and treats for next time.
After the battle was over and each time went to recover from their wounds. Blue team watched as their Pyro looked through a book about flower meanings.
Scout look shocked
“I didn’t know he could read-“
Sniper elbowed him
“If it keeps him busy and away from fire, then shut it.”
They could talk all they wanted but Pyro didn’t care. He had a second date with the cutest girl in the world, and he hoped it would lead to many more.

Pyro TF2 x Reader Drabble/Imagine(fluff)
(Reader knows sign language, fluff ensues.)
Masterlist
Wc: 0.3k
I feel like it'd be adorable to have a new merc walk in to the base and of course Pyro's already somewhat excited because hey- new buddy! But then our favorite Pyromaniac visibly gets a little mopey because nobody ever understands what they're trying to say. Sure, they're used to it, but it still kinda sucks that they can't exactly express themselves like they're hoping to.
So you can just imagine their excitement when you, the new merc, slowly attempts to sign to Pyro, asking if they understand sign language. You immediately see them light up, and you're sure the have the widest smile under their mask as they pause for a moment to intake the fact that they can finally be understood.
The adorable way they excitedly wave their hands up and down, then bring their right hand to do the 'yes!' sign.
Imagine little moments where only Pyro and you know what's going on, since you're silently chatting. Letting out inside jokes as everyone's playing cards, maybe even helping eachother out and telling eachother what cards you have.
Engineer catches on quickly- yet he doesn't have the heart to tell you both to "quit cheatin'!" It's not like there was money on the table anyway.
Imagine the pranks you two could pull, or the silent nights of simply enjoying each other's presence. If something needs to be said, the silence still isn't disrupted.
And this can be seen as platonic or romantic, but;
Imagine the first time they bring up their hand and stick out their thumb, index, and pinky finger. It's casual. They didn't want to go all out and do every sign, so they simply smashed all three letters into one.
I, L and Y.
With an immediate hug afterwards, and the giddiness of feeling special and appreciated by your favorite Firebug, you quickly copy their sign.
They nuzzle you on the cheek with their mask- which isn't the most comfortable, but you'll accept it nonetheless- you give them a big smile, and look forward to more sweet moments with them.
July.20.23
(A/N: I know I don't ever do drabbles, but I think I enjoy them very much. Would you guys mind seeing more of these?)

Mercs x GN! reader who drew them (ALL NINE!)
This goes out to everyone, not just my artists.
But yes, all my fic material is extremely self-serving.
Big thank you to a dear friend of mine for helping me with mercs like Pyro, Engie, Sniper, and Medic when I got stuck.
VERY LONG POST INCOMING
Scout
• Well, he IS an artist himself, that’s probably how the two of you first started talking.
• Ran past one day, only to immediately throw it in reverse and go “hey whoa whoa whoa when were you gonna tell me you could draw?!”
•Naturally…it was only a matter of time.
•He was always so encouraging about your stuff, so…after working up the guts, you showed him.
• “Yo wait a sec…you drew me??? I…” For once in his life, he’s at a loss for words. He’s never been drawn—not even a self-portrait. For as cocky as he seems…well…
•He just…stares for a second. Marveling. Is that…really what I look like?
• “Do you like it?” “Abso-friggin-lutely, (Y/N)!!! You kiddin’? I don’t even look that beautiful in real life! And ya know, that’s sayin’ somethin!”
•You laugh, and he pulls you in so fast to hug you that you weren’t even ready. “But seriously…thank you. I’ve uh…I’ve never been drawn before. You did amazing. …you know I gotta draw you now, right?”
•And he does. He’s a complete perfectionist about it—he feels like he can’t replicate you, you’re one of a kind. (He actually does very well! But he’s so shy showing it to you…d’aww.)
Pyro
•Pyro was more of a doodler than anything. They loved color. And of course, you could resonate with that.
•Sometimes you’d draw designs and let them color it in. They giggled all the while…they just adored how creative you were.
•Being the most secretive about their appearance, they’re hard to nail down…even for you. Pyro is most themself in their full gear. You, out of everyone, know that best.
•So you took a…different approach. Abstraction.
•Their hands, the ones that so often seemed to be magnetically drawn to you.
•Their back, the strong shoulders when they just felt content to sit in the quiet with you.
•The brief glimpses you’d caught of their face—split second instances in shadows—those were easy, yet challenging. Their brief sightings made them easy to be abstract about, and yet, it made them harder to actually nail down.
•Conjuring a rather fittingly smoky composition, it had a dreamlike feel to it. Pure Pyro.
•You were only a bit hesitant to show them, but when they did see…they surprised you a bit.
•You could see them straighten up a bit…surprised. They craned their neck a bit, looking closer, gently curling their fingers over yours to hold the snapshot-like portraits with you.
• “Hmmm…” There was a sort of…tranquility to them. So unlike your little sparky fella.
• “Do you like them?” Immediately, the edge of their mask bumped against your forehead—your own personal way of kissing. That was all the answer you needed.
•They couldn’t verbalize it, but…seeing beauty in images of themself. The same beauty they saw all around them…it made them see themself in a way they never had before.
•And of course, it made them fall even deeper in love with you, the one who cared for them so much that they took the time to look so deeply.
Heavy
•Heavy is a very intelligent man, but he’s never had much gift for creative work. Even his insults were kind of just the same thing repeated, when the other mercs made it an art form.
•So he couldn’t help but be enraptured by your artistic endeavors and how much work you put into them.
•He loved to see you covered in your medium of choice, your passion for it. Made him lovesick. How lovely you were doing what you loved.
•If he could paint, he would have wanted to paint that. So he could look at it forever.
•So of course, imagine his delight when you decided to draw him!
• That roaring laugh you so enjoyed boomed immediately, just elated.
•“Ohhhh…look at that! You captured me perfectly! Beautiful!” You couldn’t help but beam with pride.
•“Can Heavy keep this?” “Of course you can, hon.” This warranted a sudden barrage of kisses to your face, which cracked you up of course.
•“Very happy to have such talented artist as yourself to love. But to me? You are most beautiful. In all the world.” Despite being more eloquent in his native language, Heavy could still get you to turn red. “Oh gosh…” “Is true!”
Demoman
•Tavish had always been a pretty sentimental fellow. He really did enjoy artwork, but didn’t talk about it much.
•Once he discovered that you were an artist, he was over the moon. Finally, he felt, he could talk to someone about art without them possibly poking fun.
•He’d never go in your sketchbook unless you allowed him to, but he always looked with such admiration in his eyes. “That’s bloody brilliant. So long as ya luv it, never stop doin’ this. Cuz I’ll never stop lookin.”
•One day, you told him you had a surprise for it. “I dunno if I like surprises…” “Oh trust me, Demo,” you chirped, “I think you’ll like this one.”
•As you held up the finished product, his mouth went agape. Almost instantly, he began to smile.
•“Well aren’t you just the sweetest!! That’s me there???” “Yes, love. I uh, I hope that you like it.” His gaze shifted over to you, and you could see his eye had grown somewhat misty.
•Demo was at a loss for words. He had never thought of himself as particularly good-looking, certainly not good enough to be drawn. And yet. You had drawn him. Drawn him very well. And he liked how he looked. Was that how you saw him?
•“Aw, Tav…you okay??” He blinked quick, trying to keep composed.“Never better…c’mere, you…”
•Wrapping his arms around you, he gave you a kiss, just about taking your breath away.
•“My little artist…ya made me look so good.” You caught him rubbing his eye a bit. “I just drew what I saw.” “Well, ya see a work of art in me. And that? That’s the best surprise of all.”
Engineer
•With how much designing went into his machines, Dell could always appreciate the skills of an artist. So when he learned that you were one, well, that only sweetened an already sweet deal.
•You were a little self-conscious at first about him watching you work. You tended to just work parallel to one another, both lost in your own stuff.
•You’d sometimes stop what you were doing to follow his hands as he put the pieces together, fingers wandering as they looked for the correct tool.
•When the inverse happened though—when Engie watched you work—he admired your spontaneity. You could start off with a total wild card and somehow managed to pull it all together and make it work, in a way he never could have come up with.
•Being rather rigid in his own trade, that was something Dell couldn’t help but be dazzled by. Very smart man for sure, but rather by-the-book. Not like you. He saw genius in the way your mind worked.
•So, one day, as the two of you perused each other’s handiwork a bit, you shyly revealed the piece you’d made of him—hard at work on an updated sentry model.
•His lips parted a little like he was about to say something, but nothing came out.
•“I know it’s a little rocky…I’m not the best at drawing machinery.” Gently, he took ahold of the sketchbook and gave it a soft tug, nonverbally asking for permission to hold it. You let him.
•As he looked closer, a warm smile crept across his face. “Well, well…wouldja look at that. That’s me alright.” He chuckled heartily, but you realized it was from admiration, not amusement.
•“Look at you, (Y/N)! Saw me all covered in dirt an’ said ‘yeah, I can make art from that’. I love it…shucks, darlin’, I can hardly get my eyes off of it.”
•He looked back at you, still all aglow, only to find you blushing to the point of near luminescence. “Aw, c’mon now honey…no need to be all shy. You’re incredible, ya know that?”
•An arm slunk around your shoulders, pulling you fast to his side, quickly pecking the top of your head. “I love it, and I love you.”
Soldier
•Soldier was a brave man, that he was confident in. But even he was self-aware enough to realize he wasn’t the sharpest.
•Anything he’d ever drawn looked like kids’ stuff, so to see what you could make? It blew his mind.
•Jane tried not to stare while you drew—you’d gotten all nervous when you’d caught him, and he was trying to be courteous—but he couldn’t deny how it captivated him.
•“Whatcha workin’ on now?” “I’m drawing those two goofs.” You motioned to the Spy and Scout bickering as they often did. “Why them, of all things?” “I just like capturing the moment sometimes.”
•One day, as you sat while he drilled the rest of the team, you started to do just that. You found it hard not to chuckle just a little as the others groaned and rolled their eyes.
•Sure, you got their annoyance, but you couldn’t help but be pulled in by Jane’s excitement and hot-bloodedness.
•“Seemed pretty lost in your work there, or I woulda asked you to join in.” A strong hand ruffling your hair snapped you out of your daze. “Capturing the moment again?”
•“Uh-huh. I think this is my best one yet.” You turned the book around to show him, and you saw his lips part slightly in surprise before he suddenly laughed. “Haha! Look at that! It’s me!”
•You laughed with him, just happy to see him so tickled by it. “I think I really captured you.” “I’d say so, kid! I’d say so…wow.” The amusement gave way to what you realized was…almost awe.
•“I look…strong. Proud.” “Yep.” “…I look good.” “Of course you do.” He nudged his helmet down a bit with his hand, chuckling to himself. From what little bit of his face you saw…was he blushing?
•Imitating him playfully—it was something you two tended to do, he found it cute—you joked, in your best impression of him, “‘Are you going soft on me, maggot??? You’re red as a tomato!’” “Noooo…oh, (Y/N), what am I gonna do with you?”
•He caught the side of your face softly and pecked you on the cheek. “But…really. Thank you, sweetheart. I think that’s my favorite thing you’ve ever made.”
Sniper
•Truthfully, Mick had never given a lot of thought to the arts before he’d met you. What really caught his eye was the amount of time you put into it.
•Sniper knew better than anyone that holding still, completely focused on your task, being all but absorbed in it…that was respectable.
•The fact that he could leave for work and come back to find you in the same spot? It was just very attractive to him.
•You stopped by to watch him sometimes, very discreetly, on less busy days, although he wouldn’t lie, it got him nervous. He trusted in his own skills plenty, but…you weren’t just anyone. He couldn’t have you getting hurt.
•So one day, as he finally wrapped up, he saw you, still hard at work. He didn’t want to interrupt you, but if it was time to go, he wanted to go. Giving you a light pat on the shoulder, he chuckled. “Almost done there, darlin? Quittin’ time.”
•“Just a bit more…there. Perfect. Check it out.” You held up what you’d been working on: a full sketch of him invested in his own work.
•It took him a moment to process what he was seeing, but once he did, he couldn’t help but be amazed. Slightly slack-jawed, he looked up at you, the faintest trace of a smile.
•“Never considered myself the modelin’ type, ‘specially not out here, but…wow. Ya really did it. And I look bloody good, too!” “Well duh!” “Oh, stop—” Oh, that got him. The Aussie was surprisingly easy to fluster once he’d fully grown comfortable, and you loved it.
•“Awww, are you blushing?” “Just a little…now c’mon.” Taking your hand, he helped you up, quickly hugging you around the shoulders, catching you somewhat off-guard.
•“But really. Great job there. Thanks…it’s an honor, ya know that? To be drawn by you?” “Gosh—” “Heh, now you’re the one goin’ all red.” “Oh, stop—”
Medic
•The good(?) doctor first learned of your artistic prowess when he caught you trying to draw the charts he had on his wall. “Ooh! Very impressive.”
•Medic could do a lot of things, but drawing wasn’t really one of them. He couldn’t resist watching you work, even though he knew it was a bit touchy.
•“Poetry in motion, Liebe. Really.” Simp. “Oh, come on—” “I mean it! You have such precision, such grace…it’s a sight to behold!”
•So of course, when you were working on something that you absolutely would not let him look at, he wanted to see even more.
•“I promise that whatever it is, I will find it as beautiful as you!” “It’s not that, silly—it’s supposed to be a surprise!” He seemed almost sulky about it…it was kind of cute, although you did feel a bit bad.
•Eventually though, it was done—him, with Archimedes on his shoulder. “Okay, honey, you can look now.”
•One hand comes up over his mouth, audibly gasping. “Is that…? It is!!! Haha!”
•You had never seen him this happy, and you couldn’t help but smile. “You’ve really outdone yourself this time, (Y/N)! Look at that…and Archimedes too!”
•Perhaps unsurprisingly, he brings the bird out to show him too. It’s hard to gauge the response from a dove, but the tranquil cooing seems to suggest that he enjoys it.
•The doctor catches you off-guard as he sweeps you into a kiss. “Oh…danke, Schatz (treasure). May I keep this?” “Of course~”
•Best believe this man is showing your art off to EVERYONE who he treats, going on and on about what an incredible artist and person you are.
Spy
•This guy is a man of culture, he can appreciate good art. And good artists, wink.
•But in all seriousness, your attention to detail was incredibly attractive to him. After you’d been together for a while, the two of you would sit in his smoking room and relax together once the work day was over.
•Sometimes he’d be off to the side just doing his own thing, reading, but other times he’d actually sit beside you and watch. There was an intimacy to it, one you took time to grow fully comfortable with, but he was patient.
•So when you were very secretive one night, it caught his attention. Nothing slipped past him—not even you. You sensed him behind you surprisingly quickly though, and quickly closed the project up.
•“Shy tonight, are we? So unlike you, mon bijou (my jewel)…” “Hehe…be patient, babe, it’s not done yet.”
•His arms wrapped around you from behind briefly…gosh, it was difficult to keep anything secret from this man. “Very well. Keep your secrets…for now.”
•But he respected that you didn’t want him to see it just yet, and so he waited.
•“…Okay, you can look now.” In an instant, he was behind you again. It was hard to even look up at the guy right now, but once you did…there was this sense of wonder in his face that you hadn’t seen before.
•It wasn’t often that Spy looked at himself unmasked for longer than a few seconds—he’d almost forgotten his own face by now. For spies, he reasoned, it was better that way. But the way you had captured every detail of him…
•“Oh, what a handsome devil…wonder who that could be…” Was he trying to brush off his own flustering? Maybe a little.
•You couldn’t help but giggle as he almost hurriedly sat down next to you, quickly drawing you in close as he continued to look. Almost entranced.
•That element of intimacy I mentioned before? It was his turn to feel it now. Not even in a physical way, which is what this Casanova is so used to.
•No, the fact that you had clearly just…looked at his face, so intently. There was something raw and vulnerable to it. And as much as he wanted to look at it even more, his eyes were magnetically drawn to you.
•“I wouldn’t have ever asked it of you, but…I always wondered what it would look like if you drew me. I…”
•Glancing back down, he found that he couldn’t even come up with anything to say. The act of love had rendered him speechless. YOU BROKE HIM OH MY GOSH/j
•“…Do you like it?” Before you could say anything else, you were swiftly kissed, and I mean kissed.
•Spy always looked at you with a sort of passion, but this was different. He had never felt so much love for someone. Felt like a young, hopeless romantic boy all over again.
•“I adore it…and most of all, I adore you, mon cœur (my heart).”
AAAAND IM DONE. WHEW. That was fun!

"It's best we go now and tell Amber that we didn't find anything." Aether decided, having finished eating, you found yourself walking Paimon and Aether out of the hilichurl camp, your warm friend was dozing off after having their fill of wood and pinecones.
"That would be true." You couldn't help but feel a bit sad having to part with them, though your time in this world was short, it felt forever since you had any decent human conversation. Sure the pyro slime and the hilichurls were very welcoming and accomodating but it was hard to have a clear conversation with them due to a language barrier, and the few people you had met in Mondstadt were either a rumored puppet (Katheryne) or tried to kill you in the end (Jean and Lisa).
Noticing your disappointment, the blond haired boy promised you something that made your smile return "Don't worry, I'm not leaving you permanently. I'll come by once the close is clear but. ."
He eyed the Hilichurl group "I think you shouldn't stay here any longer, the knights might come to take care of this camp before it gets to big. . they may find you."
Your eyes widened slightly, you didn't want the Hilichurls who took you in to get hurt. . "I'll keep that in mind. ."
"Here." His hand glowered brightly as he brought out a bow and a quiver filled with arrows, "This should help you in the long run." he said, he didn't want to leave you, not when you clearly couldn't fight to protect your life, but being with him while Mondstadt had his eyes on him would only risk you getting found out.
"Thank you. ." despite your hesitance you forced yourself to take the weapon. . 'right. . I shouldn't hesitate. They never did, so I shouldn't. Not when my life is on the line.'
When the duo had left in the dead of the night, you turned around, basking once more in the peaceful hilichurl tribe. Most of them were asleep, cuddling with each other for warmth near the weak bonfire that your pyro buddy managed.
The children were latched onto the older ones, the samachurl dozing off while stilling sitting, clutching their staff in their hands. Knowing that the Hilichurls were overprotective of you (for a reason you cannot quite comprehend at the present), you decided you must leave the hilichurl group for both of your own safety's. But not now, you at least wanted to be just a bit selfish.
You sat next to the dozing campfire, hugging your knees close to your chest. 'There's a lot to be done.' you thought, hand wondering to a nearby hilichurl's head, feeling their soft fur or hair, you found your fingers gently coming through the tangles.
Their origins were not unknown to you, and that made it harder for you to stay and leave them. To stay would put them at a risk of the knights attacking them to get through to you, while leaving them would damn them of the punishment placed on to them. You could not stay and defend them when she didn't even have any combat prowess.
Despite being a former culinary arts students, you had experience due to playing Genshin Impact. There was a way to make sure the hilichurl group would not be ill-equipped. Of course helping them get stronger may mean they'd end up hurting innocent civilians but. . they were much better than the people, so you didn't need much more convincing.
Come the next few days you helped in fortifying their walls and making simple watch towers out of wood so their archers would have better leverage. Of course all you did was draw the watchtower and they understood what you were trying to convey to start building it.
The Samachurl was also able to help with communication, but they way that the Sama looked at you meant he was beginning to understand why you had them do these things. You thought the younger hilichurls how to cook and prepare food that weren't just meat but also those with vegetables.
"You need to eat your vegetables okay?" "nye!" a hilichurl huffed, crossing their arms and turning away. "Hey!"
You also accompanied them when they went hunting and foraging, they taught you how to prepare birds and boars to turn into food and meet, while you taught them how to season them and prepare it so the food will last longer.
They helped you learn how to use a bow and in turn the first prey you had caught were given to them. When you realized that they were now able to live more efficiently, you decided to leave that particular night.
You left half of the food and ingredients you had foraged, the rest going into your inventory. As you walked out of the camp, you found yourself turning back only to flinch at the Samachurl who appeared right in front of you.
"Unu. ." the sadness in his voice conveyed that he knew you were about to leave, without planning to return. . at least for a long while.
Swallowing away your nerves, you responded by simply bowing deeply in respect and gratitude "Valo. . for everything."
"a. .ah." the Samachurl coughed, once again he spoke in broken human language. . "p. please, come back, ye unu. . we're your odomu." and he bowed in front of you, much deeper, almost falling to the ground as he regarded with reverence.
You straightened up, feeling a mixture of emotions as you approached him, arms enveloping his much smaller form as you placed a kiss on his forehead. "I will."
🏹⁀➴˚ ✦ ˑ ִֶ 𓂃⊹
Find yourself alone made you feel solemn and rather lonely, but you resisted the urge to go back. Due to the terrain of Brightcrown mountains, there were so few paths you could take. Since you weren't a skilled rock climber nor did you feel safe swimming at cider lake with its proximity to city of freedom, you decided to take the path that lead south, to the sub area Windwail Highland.
Windwail Highland consisted of Dawn Winery, Wolvendom and Springvale. Your goal was to go to Wolvendom, due to it being home to the wolves, it was a less popular sight in the region. There were few people there, actually you were sure that there would only be one person to worry about, Razor.
Wolvendom held something precious you would need after all, Wolfhook, it was not because you wanted to try cooking with them. . . okay partly it was, but it was mainly for its medicinal properties! Since you couldn't go to the city and get healed by someone like Barbara, you could only rely on homemade remedies and recovery food.
Of course recovery food were for hp in the end, you don't think they'll heal any broken bones you may get along the way. But since you didn't know how to exactly use them, you also had to improvise this entire journey of yours to make sure you live.
You eyed the lake that entered your vision, as your hand placed itself on a waypoint, ignoring it whirl to life you turn to the fork in the path. One leading to the winery, the other leading to Liyue. If Aether hadn't told you why you were being targeted by Mondstadt, you'd have probably escape to Liyue using this path by now but. .
if Mondstadt, the city of freedom itself wanted you dead without any due process, what of Liyue? Liyue, a region steeped in tradition, this creator was respected in the entire continent. . thinking about it, there wasn't really any safe places for you to go to, to seek refuge in.
Even if there were people who would willingly protect you and house you, you'd no doubt feel guilty for putting them in potential harm's way. You massaged the lower half of your face as you decided to continue trekking on, but instead of feeling your skin, you felt a fabric around you. "Ah right" you murmur as you remembered making a half-assed veil to cover the majority of your face. The hilichurl masked had been an option but that would garner more attention to yourself as a human dressed as a hilichurl.
But with the apparel you were wearing you could easily play yourself off as being a nomad from a far of region, possibly the Sumeru Desert, the clothes would be close enough to it and considering there were few or none sumeru visitors in Mondstadt except for Lisa (who has been away from the dendro region for years) then you were safe.
The smell of grapes seemed to linger around the area now, and lo and behold, you could see Dawn Winery with its grapevines in full glory. Curiously you stopped to stare, watching as numerous maids and workmen were hauling the harvest to the house.
"Oh hello there, is there anything we can do for you?" You flinched as you turned to find a maid approach her, one with short light blonde hair and green eyes, her appearance was very familiar to her but the name was definitely on the tip of your tongue.
"U-uh no, sorry I just smelled some grapes." You awkwardly stood, wondering if the maid knew about the wanted 'Imposter' on the loose.
The woman nodded, a smile on her face. "I see, here at Dawn Winery, we grow a lot of varieties of grapes that are used for our wine and some other special ingredients." she added helpfully.
"Is it harvesting season then?" you asked curiously, the woman nodded "yes, for one of our rotations. We are actually hiring some adventurers for some labor. Are you by chance one of those adventurers who saw our request?"
Immediately you shook your head "Ah I'm an adventurer, yes. But I haven't seen this request of yours."
"Ah I see"
Seeing her disappointment you added "however if you still need an extra pair of hands, I can help." you offered and she instantly smiled. "That's great, why don't you follow me and I can explain to you what we need to do!"
You nodded, taking a steady pace as you followed behind the woman who'd you come to realize was Adelinde. All you had to do was harvest the grapes in one section of the winery, then help with the cleaning then the delivery of a wine. "Apparently, the Knights are ordering for abled men to partake in the hunt of a person impersonating out great Creator." Adeline offhandedly mentioned, which explained why most of the people in the area were either maids or much older workers that probably did not meet Jean's standards for participants.
"I see, that must have been a trouble for your business." You nodded along as you grabbed a wooden basket, and started working. You were too far into it to leave anyways, and hopefully they'd pay you a lot for the menial labor. Maybe finally you could escape the nightmare that is minimum wage.
The grapes looked juicy and plump, you were almost tempted on snacking on a few but you didn't want to return Adelinde's kindness with eating their grapes. You could probably make some raisins with the grapes.
"Oh Master Kaeya, what are you doing here?" You flinched at Adelinde who was greeting a boy with dark blue hair. "Hello Adelinde" he greeted respectfully, without a hint of teasing. From the corner of your eye you could see him interact with the maid.
A shaky sigh escaped your lips, hoping the captain would not notice you. "I heard you were short on hands so I thought I'd stop by and assist you."
"Don't tell me you ditched your work." The woman huffed, hands on her hips, but she didn't look too annoyed. "Maybe, maybe not. But it's okay, Diluc is working with the Knights at Jean's behest." He waved her off.
"I see, thank you for your help. . but are you sure? this situation is very important. It is true that there is an imposter like in the prophecy?" Adelinde asked with a hush whisper, but you found that the wind carried their voices to you making it easier for you to eavesdrop.
"Supposedly, but I would not rule out this imposter for simply having a few similar features with her divinity." Kaeya said with a small sigh, the maid skeptically wondered "that is true but. . are they truly going to execute this person on sight. . what if they are actually the creator?"
If Adelinde had a choice, she would rather give it time to truly determine this person's status before deciding to execute them on the spot.
"I would agree. But maybe Diluc could bring reason to Jean."
"Hopefully, Jean has always been fond of Diluc, maybe she'd listen to him."
Oh? did that mean Jean did have feelings for the red haired dark knight? you couldn't help but cover your mouth with your hand, finding the tea to be interesting.
"But you know, I wonder why Jean is acting like this, usually she's so level headed." Adelinde sighed cupping her cheek in dismay, she was quite disappointed with the acting grand master's choice of actions.
"Well you know it is quite a sensitive topic, it seems like she wants to curry favor with the great Creator after being neglected." Kaeya unabashedly exposed Jean's secrets. You blinked in confusion, hands stopping as if frozen from harvesting another grapevine. Jean was neglected by the creator?
'so like mommy issues or God Issues?'
You couldn't help but ponder the implications of what was revealed to you, that meant that the God was still active in some ways but still silent.
Then you remembered something, you had jean, you had pulled for a character you had wanted only to lose 50/50, and because by then she was out of meta you didn't bother using her, only building her to get the few free wishes. .
You nearly dropped your basket as something cold washed over you. . something, something was clearly wrong.
°🥂⋆.ೃ🍾࿔*:・
After harvesting all the ready grapes in the section Adelinde instructed you, you found them ready the grapes into wooden buckets as the other more experienced maids handled the work. "Why don't you take a seat and wait, the others are loading up the wine in the cart." Adelinde offered as you nodded in relief, you found your feet hurting from standing on unpaved paths without any proper protection.
"By the way," you flinched, turning to Adeline who simply smiled at you, unaware of your unease "I never got your name."
"It's [Name]." you said with a slight nod as you then headed to the chairs and tables scattered around the estate. You felt your stomach rumble, finding yourself starving. You should cook something, you wondered if you can borrow the nearby cooking pot. "Why hello there?"
Your eyes widened, turning to meet Kaeya, how long had he been aware of your presence? how long had you been distracted by your hunger to not notice him approaching?
"I've never met you before, you are?"
"[name] just a nomad." you answered with a frown, eyes narrowing at the captain. What was he up to? even though he seemed to not agree with Jean's witch trial, he was still a wildcard.
"Oh? from where?" he took the seat next to you, a smile plastered on his face.
"The desert in Sumeru."
Your answers were short and had a sharp edge, but it did not deter the Cavalry captain who only seemed more and more amused. You wondered whether Aether trusted the man enough to tell him about what he knew of you.
"Oh really? I've never been there before. What's it like?"
"Unbearably hot during the day, cold during the night. There are also a lot of eremites and mercenary." You answered. Could he even confirm or deny your claims? sure he had connections, but did it reach towards Sumeru who was quite far?
His fingers tapped the wooden table that separated the two of you, "I've never been to Sumeru before, could you tell me more about it?" he asked, putting on his charismatic tone. "What do you care for then?" you gritted out.
"How about the cuisine?"
Your eyes widened slightly, and you found yourself going into a long rant about the food in Sumeru. Although you could never truly describe it's by its taste, having never eaten it. You vividly remember its description.
"The pita pockets are very tasty and filling, I made it once (recreated) and it was delicious. You can change the fillings, I tried one with a filling similar to what I usually use in Quesadillas. But you can change it to have some lettuce or tomatoes and pork. But if you want a dish you can try the Tandoori Roast Chicken, it's similar to the Sweet Madame but instead of being sweet it's more savory with spices." You continued on ranting as Kaeya blinked, he was not expecting this.
He wasn't able to cut in for awhile as you passionately talked about the food from Sumeru, sometimes you complained about the ingredients, other times you gushed about how delicious it was when you cooked it or how disappointed you were when you hadn't.
"Personally I always wanted to try their Shawarma wraps, but I haven't had the chance to recreate it as well as the Rose custard. I love pudding, what about you?"
"oh uh" he blinked again, not expecting you to stop as you, again, were rather passionate. Realizing it as well, you reeled back, cheeks and ears taking on a rosy hue as you apologized, definitely embarrassed for chatting his ears off.
"It's alright" he found himself chuckling, for some reason, when you had your guard down and began talking with such passion, he found himself relaxing, warming up to your more genuine side.
"Personally I'd prefer a good meal that could be paired with some wine." He commented, he propped his arm up by placing his elbow on the table, as he leaned his cheek on his palm. "Since you came from Sumeru, have you tried any Mondstadt dishes?"
You shook your head, you didn't have a chance to because of Jean and Lisa, you bitterly thought. "How about I treat you?" he offered and suddenly the sound of your stomach pitifully grumbling was heard, you wanted to die as he said with an amused smile "I'll take that as a yes then."
Rather than actually buying you food, he took it upon himself to cook you something. The blue haired knight had borrowed the kitchen in the Ragnvindr estate. You sat patiently on a stool as you watched him worked, wondering if he was always this easy going with people? To cook for someone, well to you that was rather intimate after all.
You smelled the scent of fruit, and quickly you realized he was making his signature dish. If cooking for someone you just met wasn't intimate, then cooking your signature dish for someone you weren't even close to was definitely intimate.
"Here you go, a plate of my famous Fruity Skewers." he said after a few moments, presenting you with a plate with his signature dishes. It looked more appetizing than the base recipe which was the chicken-mushroom skewers, you could see the slices of cucumber and onions paired with the chicken and mushrooms which had a shiny coat to it, probably from the wine he used to marinate. With a hum you took a skewer and bit into it.
Kaeya watched with slight interest at how your eyes sparkled from the dish, you licked your lips after finishing a skewer and when you turned to him, any apprehension you had towards him was gone. "This is delicious!"
When you had recreated his signature dish back at home, you clearly didn't do any justice for his signature dish. Perhaps it was the wine, no, it was definitely the wine you had used that failed to capture it's essense.
"I'm glad you liked it. You are. . quite enamored with food huh?"
You weren't offended by his remarks, instead you proudly sat straighter, as you jabbed your thumb towards yourself "That's right. I'm a foodie."
"A foodie?" he repeated, a certain shift in his tone that you hadn't noticed.
"That's right," you smiled "a foodie is basically a person who is very interested in food!"
"That seems like an understatement, when I take you for an example." At his words you blushed, chuckling as you remembered how you rant off moments ago, on just the sumeru dishes alone.
The two of you began eating in the kitchens, you were sure Adelinde had pop by once but immediately closed the door but you weren't too sure. Kaeya wasn't bothered, taking the time to savor the meal as you decided to return the favor by making some desert.

I use he/they pronouns for the slime, they/them for hilichurls but some I used he/him. The samachurl is he/they. Since I'm writing a female reader, i usually use her, but it's mostly 'you'.
I'm sorry you had to leave them, it's for the story's progression.
oh and this story is going to be definitely lighthearted with a few pinches of angst, how you treat characters when you were playing the game will definitely affect their standing on you. Well at least in Jean's case.
Current compiled suggestions to name the pyro slime <3
Fuji_Sen has suggested! Lava Cake or "Java" based on the food / coffee" Fuji_Sen has suggested! Monsieur Creme Brulee or "Creme" based on the food. @Fantasyhopperhea has suggested! check here for more info.
I recommend checking your visibility or post and reblog a couple of times to fix the issue, if you don't know if you're shadowbanned check if you have the message function, if not you probably are.
also I repeat, if this chapter is old (meaning there is a more latest one) please request to be add in the taglist there, it's much easier for me to filter the newer requests from the old ones, :'D

I LOVE THE KISSING HCS!! You wrote all the characters super duper well!! May I request reader is super busy and doesn't have enough time for mercs? And how the mercs would react? >,>
(Esp sniper, I feel like once he finds someone he trusts, he becomes the most clingiest man..)
Tumblr media
→Mercs with a Busy Reader!
Genre: Fluff, a bit of angst
Characters: all the mercs!
Yes!! Thanks so much for the req anon, here we go! I decided to do an established relationship for this one, hope that’s alright!
Scout
Oh this will not be tolerated.
Scout is near impossible to ignore when he wants something, persistent beyond belief. If he wants your attention he is going to do whatever he has to do to get it.
The times where you do have time for him he spends most of it whining about how little he sees you.
When he’s not doing that though, Scout is constantly checking to make sure you’re having a good time with him. Going out of his way to make you laugh more than usual, and doing stupid things to get your attention.
Really afraid of you getting bored of him, and thinks you being busy will make you forget why you like him.
Abandonment issues are a bitch.
He is pretty pathetic, but he’s too proud to say any of it out loud, so he keeps it to himself. Just follows you around like a lost dog when you’re around, talking your ear off about all the things you missed while you were busy.
Doesn’t allow for a second of silence, just trying to keep your attention as much as possible. He’s so used to feeling like he has to work for attention so he’s not any different with you.
“Oh, did I tell you what happened with the teleporta’ the other day? It was wild, straight up I…” he continues rambling on and on.
At first you mistake it for genuine excitement for spending time with you again, but eventually you realize how disjointed his rants are and how anxious he sounds. He’s hardly even breathing in between sentences.
“Scout, scout! Slow down, relax,” you say in a light chuckle, grabbing his hand. Rubbing your thumb along the back of it. “Take it easy babe, deep breaths.”
“What? What happened?” He asked cluelessly, probably didn’t even realize he was doing it.
You just give him a big kiss, and then another for good measure.
You reassure him how much you like him, and how you being busy doesn’t change that at all. Once you start being all sweet to him he will turn to mush in your arms whining about how you’ve been neglecting him.
You make sure to give him some much needed attention that night.
Demoman
Demo HATES it when you’re busy. He’s way less clingy than Scout is, and definitely less pathetic about it, but it gets under his skin in a crazy way.
Will probably plan a cutesy date for you two. But when you get pulled away again? God he’s crushed.
Drinks to deal with it, that’s the only real way he knows how to deal with big feelings, so this is no different really.
You come back to an absolute blubbering mess, it’s almost impossible to understand him, but you definitely get the gist.
Felt so rejected that you left from the thing he planned for the two of you, and you feel SO GUILTY. You had felt bad before, but Tavish is pretty good about hiding his hurt so you figured he’d be okay.
You drop everything to stay with him that night of course, and the two of you share a nice quiet night together.
As soon as he wakes up he starts apologizing, remembering how he acted the night before.
“Oh my god, m’ so sorry,” he said the second he opened his eyes.
You kiss his forehead “no I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry for skipping out on our date.”
“S’okay,” he mumbled, just happy to have you here now.
You make it up to him by having a really romantic date night with him.
Sniper
Yes anon just like you said he is the clingiest man.
Shows it in weird covert ways though, just following you around like a shadow. Sometimes you kind of forget he’s there.
Doesn’t want to really say anything because he knows it’s not like it’s your choice to be busy, he knows you rather spend all your time with him. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that he feels super neglected.
I imagine he’s pretty secure typically, but he might become nervous that you’re getting tired of him. Won’t show any of that, you’ll probably never know about it.
Frequently calls his parents about you, they get annoyed at his lamenting. But they’re happy he finally found someone he can tolerate.
He doesn’t mind alone time in relationships honestly, but it gets to a point where it’s too much for him.
This is really the only time he’s the one to initiate physical contact, pretty much the second the two of you are alone.
(Given of course that the two of you have already been together for a considerable amount of time).
“Sniper I’m so sorry I’ve been so busy—“ he cut you off by wrapping his arms around you and kissing your face all over.
You yelp in surprise but ultimately just let him get it all out of his system, fighting it would be unwise. Not that you’d want too.
Once he’s done he pulls back staring at you intently “so I take it you missed me,” you say a little slyly.
He shrugs a little, leaning down to kiss your neck “maybe a lil’” he says softly.
You’re not getting away from him for a long time, may as well just accept it.
Solider
Solider isn’t clingy, and can exist perfectly fine without you.
Not like he wants to though, much prefers life with you in it.
Will act cranky without you though, much harder on the other mercs when you’re busy.
They literally beg you to spend more time with him, he’s killing them.
Extremely excited when you give him some much needed quality time
“Cupcake!” He exclaimed crushing your spine as he picked you up into a big head.
“I missed you too, love,” you struggle out, “but if you could please— you’re crushing me.”
He’s smiling the whole time as he complains about how terrible his teams has been treating him, loves it when you sympathize for him.
Absolutely mopey if you get pulled away again.
So long as when you’re with him you aren’t distracted and there are times when you are with him then he doesn’t take much offense to it. Considers himself to be a fairly busy individual as well, doesn’t mind going your separate ways. My man is secure af in relationships.
Engineer
Engineer, too, is a very busy individual, so he doesn’t take much offense to it.
But he gets tense without you, your his rock and he loses himself in his work if you’re not around enough.
The two of you have to make a mutual agreement to not get so wrapped up in your work.
When you two are together you probably just spend a lot of time enjoying how quiet and calm things are when you aren’t buried under projects.
Maybe you even make some space to get work done together, like taking whatever you’re doing into his workshop. If you’re going to be busy, may as well be busy together.
“Hon, could you pass me that wrench?” Engie asked, holding one of his machines in place.
Without looking up from your project you pick up the wrench “here you are dear,” you say casually handing it to him.
“Much obliged,” he responded, and the two of you returned to your own little worlds.
Parallel play goes crazy.
Pyro
Pyro doesn’t like it one bit.
Things feel calmer when you’re around, and when you’re not, they can feel quite discorded and lonely. They feel like you’re one of the few people who actually may understand them, so when you’re not around they tend to feel pretty lost and upset.
It’s not like they need you, but you make things more manageable for them.
You come back to a big fire I bet, as that’s Pyros only real way of expressing their emotions.
You feel really bad for leaving them all alone and try to make it up to them with a lot of cuddles and kisses. It almost works.
You really do have to make up with them, not just because you love them but for the sake of all the flammable things and people in the area.
You guys spend a lot of quality time together after that, and Pyro keeps you from ever going too far. Not that you mind though.
Medic
Medic gets very passive aggressive when he’s not given enough attention.
You might actually think you being buys is not a problem at first, the way he continues to insist that he doesn’t care. But after enough under his breath comments it becomes glaringly obvious that he actually does care.
He gets really huffy and cold when he feels neglected. You’re gonna have to do a lot to win his favor back.
“Come on, I said I was sorry,” you say with a frown.
“I said I don’t care,” Medic huffs
You roll your eyes as Medic turns his back on you, you sigh a little "okay well, I care. It was so very cruel of me to neglect you like that. I'm sorry my dear."
Medic presses his lips together to hide his smile "well you had better be!" He exclaims crossing his arms.
Pretty needy after that, you have to be on top of quality time with him from that point on.
He really does try to be understanding but he's a high maintenance partner and the two of you knew that going into things, so you have to just accept that fact.
Flowers and chocolate may be in order to get back into his good graces.
Heavy
Heavy is also pretty secure.
He's needy, but he is secure enough to not take it personally.
When you are around him he doesn't do any thing special beyond being a little bit more touchy with you, it's usually pretty unnoticable, but if you look it there.
You were telling him a story once from a time when you spent a long time away from him, and he stroked your arm as you talked.
"Heavy--" you say beetween a chuckle "--that tickles."
"Well maybe Heavy misses you while you're away," He says lowly as his fingers trace down your arm and to your hand.
"Oh you're such a sap!" You exclaim.
Heavy won't say it (because he doesn't want you to feel pressured) but he would absolutely love it if you surprised him with a romantic date night when you came to see him after a week of being busy. He doesn't need it, but it is very much appreciated.
Really doesn't want to come off as clingy and will go to great lengths to not be seen as such.
He totally is though, whoops.
Spy
Being the romantic that he is he likely finds some creative way to get your attention.
Maybe he let's himself into your room and sets up a romantic night in for the two of you, your favorite food and wine, candles and roses, all the works.
Pretends it's all for you and your benefit, Spy of course is too high and mighty to actually miss anyone. Even if that's what it really seems like what is happening.
"Wow I can't believe you did all this for me," you say gently, sitting at the seat that Spy pulled out for you.
"Of course, the very best for you mon amour," he says pushing you in towards the dinner he set out for the two of you "I know how very terrible it must've been without me."
His expression his smug as he sits down in front of you, picking up his glass of wine "sure, this is all definitely for me," you say teasingly, before he responds you continue "I wish you had told me before though, I don't exactly feel romantic date night ready."
He assures you that you look perfect, and if not conviced he certainly knows something else you can change into to look even better.
Spy just goes right into grand gesture mode when anything in the relationship happens.
Spy thinks very highly of himself, so he's not really worried about you getting bored of him or how much time you spend together.
Needy in his own way though.
Eek! I hope this is okay anon I've been having the worst writers block,,, sorry its so late I hope u like it! ≧◡≦

Trial by Fire
Pyro x Female Reader
AN: your class is called “Assist” in this
“Have you guys every noticed how creepy Pyro is?”
Scout drew another card as Spy took a drag from his cigarette, barely casting Scout a glance.
“The unstable psychopath that we’ve been colleagues with for years? Yes Scout, we’ve noticed. How observant you are”
Demoman barked out a laugh, throwing his head back. Nearly tipping out of his chair, Engineer being the one to stabilize him.
It was a calm night at base, a rarity in their profession. While Scout, Spy, Solider, Demo, and Engineer played cards. Medic and Heavy were lingering behind them, discussing the differences between Russian and German literature. Sniper was settled in a cracked, leather chair, hat over his eyes to catch the sleep he often didn’t get.
“Go Fish!” Solider slammed an Ace on the table.
“Solider, we’re playing Texas hold ‘em, not Go Fish,”
Engineer handed Solider back his card, him being the only one at the table to had enough patience for the merc at the moment.
“Go to hell Spy, that’s not what I meant,” Scout snapped out, trying to lean over and see what hand Demo had.
“Then pray tell, what do you mean?” Spy glanced at Scout, smoke billowing from his mouth.
“I mean, every time Assist is around, so is Pyro. He followers her like a lost puppy”
Spy paused, shifting his eyes to the far corner of the room.
Assist wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary. Just playing on her game boy, while Pyro loomed behind her, watching her play.
Spy narrowed his gaze before looking back at the hand he had, Shifting his card around.
Engineer drew another card, clearing his throat to speak.
“Now that you mention it, it’s pretty rare that I’ve seen Assist alone…”
“That’s what I’m talkin’ about! He hasn’t left her alone since she got to base”
“What? You suggesting he’s got feelings or something?” Engineer quickly slapped a hand over Demos mouth, glancing up to make sure Pyro didn’t hear.
“Keep your voice down, the last thing I wanna do is piss him off…”
Thankfully Pyros attention was still focused on game Assist was playing.
Spy sets down his cards, a royal flush.
“So what if he does or doesn’t have feelings? Frankly I would like to know less about our firebug colleague”
Engineer, Demo, and Scout reluctantly fold. Solider slams down another card.
“Go Fish! Final offer!”
Engineer pulls Solider back again, getting him out of Spy’s face.
“I agree with Spy, no need getting in his business”
“I disagree”
Engineer jumps at Medics sudden appearance behind him
“I apologize my friend, but I think it’s rather interesting…why don’t we test Scouts theory”
Demo stands up abruptly, grabbing his bottle of hooch
“I’m out, enjoy killing yourselves”
While Spy counts his winnings, he turns his attention towards Medic.
“And how would you go about such an experiment?”
Medic grins, pushing up his glasses
“Well…”
Trial 1:
“A check up?”
Assist looked confused, she had just gotten hers at the beginning of the year. Behind her, Pyro tilted his head
“Yes yes, just the standard checkup. Blood work, psychical, making sure your bones are in the right place”
“Why wouldn’t my bones be in the right place-“
“That’s why you need a check up,”
Assist looked wary, but knew it’s probably best to trust the good doctor
“Okay, I guess if it’s necessary…”
“Excellent! It will be quick, no worry”
Medic rushed her into the medical bay, Pyro tailing behind her.
“Ah ah, I’m sorry Pyro, you must stay out here. Doctor - Patient privacy, you understand.”
Pyro stared blankly at him before taking a seat in the waiting room.
Hands clasped and eyes ahead.
“She’ll be back out in a bit”
Medic smiled before going into the medical bay himself.
3 hours, Assist had been here for 3 hours while Medic checked to see If any of her bones were missing.
“Doc, I’m not trying to doubt your expertise but-“
“Almost done! These X Rays can be hard to read”
In reality, he was keeping an eye on the timer. Hours had passed and it was time to see if his theory had been right.
“Done! All good, no bones are missing”
Assist hops off the patient table, making her way to the doors with Medic behind her.
“Didn’t know it would take so long”
“Bone medicine isn’t an exact science, it takes time and effort”
Medic opens the door for her and just as he thought, there sat Pyro. Sitting in the exact position he started in.
Pyro jumped up once he saw Assist, having a complete change in demeanor.
“Mmmp! Mhmm Mphm Mhm”
“Doc says I’m all good, but I’m starving”
Medic watched as the two walked off, Pyro talking animatedly with his hands.
Very interesting indeed.
Trial 2:
Assist sprinted through Two Fort, hands filled with metal to give to Engineer. She glanced behind her to the Blue Scout that was tailing behind her.
She gritted her teeth and pushed herself harder. While she was sneakier than Scout, she definitely wasn’t faster. His footsteps got louder behind her and she felt him grab her scalp and yank her down to the floor.
“Fuck!”
Assist hit the floor hard, the metal she was carrying clanging down around her.
“Sorry doll, if it’s any consolation, I won’t bash in your pretty face”
“It’s not you dick!”
Assist hissed between her teeth, preparing herself for the uncomfortable feeling that came with respawning.
Cloaked with a butterfly knife raised was the Red Spy, ready to attack.
He stopped once he saw a flash of red and felt the warmth of flame thrower.
The Blue Scout screamed and crumpled to the floor, twitching as the flames consumed him.
Pyro stood unmoving and unwavering until the Scouts body was nothing but ash.
“Mmm Hhpmm?”
“My head hurts…”
Spy watched as Pyro helped Assist to her feet, gathering up some of the metal she dropped while he did so.
“Hmmm Hphmm”
“But I need to get these to Engineer-“
“Mphm!”
“Medic is probably busy-“
Pyro put his hand on the small of Assists back and gently pushes her forward, holding the metal she collected for her.
Before they leave the room, Pyro turns and looks right at the spot where Spy stood.
It felt as if Pyro was looking right at him.
Spy ignored the shiver that went down his spine as the pair left, making a mental note to avoid the arsonist for the day.
Trial 3:
Another successful job meant another long ride back in the van. Night had fallen and Engineer was plucking at his guitar strings as everyone unloaded. He tried not to look at Pyro and Assist, the former sleeping on her friends shoulder.
Everyone but them two knew about this “experiment” and Engineer wanted nothing part of it. He preferred to stay out of trouble and not charred.
The van came to a gentle stop once they were back at base, Heavy making sure to make the least amount of noise possible to not wake up Assist.
Engineer watched as everyone left the van in a drowsy state, all expect for Pyro and Assist. Pyro looked motionless, Engineer couldn’t gauge if he was asleep or awake.
Either way, he couldn’t just leave them in the van.
Cautiously, Engineer approached, moving to gently touch Assists shoulder to wake her up.
A gloved hand caught his wrist before he could do so.
Engineer looked into the black void that was Pyros mask.
He swallowed before gathering his nerve to speak.
“She can’t sleep here tonight Pyro, you know that,”
Pyro just stared back at him
“She’ll be sore tomorrow when she wakes up…”
After a few silent moments, Pyro let go of his wrist and gently shook Assist awake.
“Mmm? Back already?”
She stood on two shaky legs, stretching out, Pyro following suit. Assist bid Engineer Goodnight as Pyro helped her out of the van, guiding her in her half asleep state.
Engineer was left in the van, alone with his suspicions and the night critters
Interlude:
“In conclusion, he is not a sociopath like I thought, but something else entirely. His feelings towards Assist prove it”
Medic cheerily declared, hands clasped behind his back,”
Spy twirled around a cigarette, leaning back in his chair
“And what do we do with this information?”
“I’ll tell you what we’ll do,”
Scout piped up, putting both hands on the table. His face sporting a smile that went ear to ear
“We’re gonna tease the hell of him”
“Lad, do you really think that’s a good idea?”
Demo took a swig of his drink
“He’ll make s’mores over your corpse”
“The bastard has a crush, and I’m not supposed to tease him? What is this? Summer camp?”
Spy flicks ash in Scouts direction
“Whatever you do boy, leave us out of it. I have a feeling Pyro is onto us”
Scout laughs
“No way, I’m not missing this golden opportunity”
Spy flicks his lighter closed
“I look forward to speaking at your funeral”
Trial 4:
A hand slammed itself on the table, almost spilling Assists drink. Pyro being the one to steady it.
Assist let out a sign before glancing up, not please to have their dinner interrupted
“Can I help you Scout?”
“You. Me. Dinner tomorrow”
All action in the cafeteria stopped as all the attention turned on them.
Engineer covered both of Solider and Demo man’s mouths. Medic leaned forward on his elbows, curious to see how this would turn out. Heavy said a quick prayer for Scout while Spy huffed, rolling his eyes.
“I’m sorry?”
“You know we’ve got something between us, so let’s make it official,”
Scout leaned in closer while Assist leaned back to maintain distance.
Everyone wasn’t watching Scout, but Pyro to see his reaction.
Nothing, so far it was nothing, Pyro sat still and stared at Scout, his expression unreadable.
“…no, I’m good Scout, but thanks? I guess?”
A collective sigh of relief swept through the Cafeteria, no murder would be committed today.
Scout shrugged and backed away
“Hey babe, it’s your loss”
Never once did Pyros gaze leave Scout, like he was hunting him.
Medic looked disappointed if anything
“I’m surprised Pyro didn’t do anything, I was hoping for more conclusive results”
Spy passed a cigarette to Medic, then his lighter
“Be grateful we don’t have to mop blood off the floors”
End of Experiment:
Thwip Click
Thwip Click
Scout turned in his sleep, the unknown sound starting to drag him away from his unconscious state
Thwip Click
He sat up and rubbed his eyes, glancing at the clock reading 3:00 am.
Scout grumbled and went to go back to sleep but the light in the corner of his room made his blood run cold.
Thwip Click
Pyro was flicking his lighter on and off, staring right ahead at Scout. Repeatedly making the flame spark and extinguish.
“Heyyy Pyro, watcha, watcha doin buddy?”
Thwip
This time, the lighter stayed on as Pyro stood to his full height
“I didn’t mean anything by it, I was just teasing you know?” Scout started to sweat, realizing now that his actions do have consequences.
Pyro took one step closer
“I won’t do it again okay? I promise I’ll leave her alone, just please don’t hurt me”
Scout begged, and Pyro stopped in his tracks.
Click
The lighter went out, leaving Scout in the dark. He searched blindly for something to defend himself with, but before he could. The door opened and Pyro left, leaving Scout unharmed physically but not mentally.
At least now he knew better than to mess with what belonged to Pyro.

TF2 Mercs x Romantic M!Reader
Scout
Has never had anyone pull out the stops for him. He's the youngest of 7, his life has been full of hand-me-downs and overlooking.
When you hand him a bouquet of roses he actually fucking cries.
Dinner, a movie while holding hands, cuddling under the stars? God, he feels like a princess in a disney movie and you're his prince charming
Soldier
He's touched, really, he is! But has a hard time expressing it. He gives you a big ol' kiss and thanks you with a smile, but is lowkey pretty awkward when you offer to dance with him.
He looooved the homecooked dinner you made for him- after all, restaurants aren't really his scene. Course after course if just amazing!
Afterwards, you convince him to slowdance/cuddledance with you while whispering sweet nothings into his ear. He blushed so hard you can feel the heat on his cheeks.
Pyro
OH MY GOD??? ALL THIS FOR ME??? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
Well, that's what you think they signed to you as they blubbered tearfully and hugged you. You decorated the recreation room with streamers of deep red and had a bowl of icecream to share while watching a movie!
Their favorite part is when you lit the streamers on fire, making a brief flaming heart.
Demoman
What's better than a roadtrip and sightseeing in a new place? You two snuck out and drove to Dallas for a long weekend out. It took you eons to convince the Administrator for a long weekend too, so it was extra heartfelt!
Big foods, big hats, and big inside jokes nobody else will understand, most of all- you take Demoman out to light fireworks in the desert. Big ones.
With all the clamoring to see the light show, Demoman is elated to kiss you in public with nobody noticing.
Engineer
Going to his favorite museum of engineering and listening to him talk is what Dell found most heartstopping. That dopey look of love as you listened intently had him in a chokehold.
Brushing the backs of your hands together feels more scandalous than holding your hand as you give him a teasing wink.
After, you cook his favorite meal? "Oh darlin', you're an angel."
Heavy
Doesn't know how to react at first, insisting he doesn't need to be spoiled. Then you pull out the handknitted mittens with bear paws on the inside and he's all the way on board to let you spoil him like a king.
You get a thank you kiss for everything you do, a promise to repay the favor later (;P) with every surprise you give him.
Oh boy does he, the more you love on Heavy, the more he loves on you.
Sniper
Survivalist camping with him over the weekend is how you win his heart. He sees you fishing at the crack of dawn and you just smile at him and hand him a pole. The comfortable silence has him blushing like a poppy.
Play wrestle this man. Play wrestle him and win. Pin this man to the ground with a playful yet exerting smile and he will never forget the moment until the day he does and then some. Then kiss him. Do it.
Spy
Ah, a nice restaurant where he doesn't have to worry about the bill, a gala where he doesn't have to assassinate anyone, and a handsome man he isn't obligated to sleep with for information- this is the perfect date!
He's quite the flirt as well, but as long as you can keep up with him, you'll win out in the end with your romance attack modifiers of the date on your side.
Dancing with him is a must, even if you're bad, it's still overwhelmingly charming to Spy.
Medic
YOU BOUGHT HIM NEW SYRINGES AFTER HIS OLD ONES SNAPPED???? AWWW YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE!!!
Much like Spy, Medic loves a fancy dinner and dancing, but he likes the thrill of a mission to help digest his food. That's why you two break into the blood donation truck and take some especially weird samples of blood that you find.
While the police chase you, you two share a kiss. Be gay, do crime!

Hey, I've got a TF2 request, if you don't mind! Mercs with a s/o who accidentally falls asleep with their head on the mercs shoulder. (Very cliche, I know...) I'll let you pick who you want to write for, no pressure! PS, I think your writing is phenomenal, and I anticipate whatever you might post next!
TF2 falling asleep on their shoulder
gn reader | ahhh tysm!! this message means so much :) i decided to write for all the mercs, hope you enjoy!!!
temperatures are in celsius
drabbles under the cut :P
Scout: "Move ova'!" Scout pushed his way onto the already overcrowded couch, disregarding the protests of the other mercs. Tonight was movie night at the red base, and he would be damned if he couldn’t use this as a moment to try and get closer to you. "Hiya toots," he flirted, stretching his right arm out to rest around your shoulders. "Hi Jeremy." You smiled and rolled your eyes playfully. Scout had been crushing on you for a while, every chaste touch and every flirty interaction had culminated in something that far outweighed any feelings he once had for Pauling. The movie had long since started, and mercs were continuing to file into the living room, squishing themselves onto the lounge or plotting themselves onto the floor. He couldn't remember the genre let alone the name of the film, all Scout could hear was the sound of his own heartbeat and the feeling of uncomfortable itchiness in his throat as you cuddled into his side. An hour in and your eyes began to grow heavy, breathing slowing in tandem. Jeremy glanced down at you, his palms moist and his face flushed as he wrapped his arm around your waist, attempting to focus on the movie and not how cute you looked like that. He was definitely asking you out in the morning.
Soldier: Everyone felt hot, sweaty, and exhausted as they slugged themselves back to the blu base. The mood hung heavy, no one seemed interested in Soldier’s usual antics - all except you, of course. You feigned a smile as he ranted about team ethic and the "American spirit", some mercs scowled at the man and others mumbled profanities and sauntered off. A light breeze came in through the afternoon air, Soldier sighed in the smell of Spring. “Hey, we should sit out here for a bit,” you squeezed Jane’s arm, pulling him towards one of the wooden benches placed just outside of the entrance to base. He felt his heart swell, not only did you want to hang out with him, but any touch from you made him absolutely crazy. “AFFIRMATIVE CUPCAKE,” Soldier responded, allowing you to lead the way. You audibly sighed as you sat down, just looking at you it was obvious you were exhausted. “Better luck next time, huh?” you joked, Soldier chuckled and stared out at the afternoon sky. You sat there together for a while, until he felt a sudden, yet small pressure on his shoulder. You had fallen asleep on him, and with anyone else he would have woken them up immediately, but you looked so peaceful and….pretty in a way? Soldier glued his eyes to the afternoon sky, he could think about these feelings later, better to let you rest after a long day.
Pyro: Being friends with Pyro was exhausting in of itself, and they knew this. But they couldn't help wanting to invite you along to their errands, you were their best friend and any time spent with you was time spent well. By the end of the day, you were both well past exhausted. "You're lucky I like you so much, otherwise I would never go on an errand run with you again." You teased, slinging an arm around their shoulders as you both trotted up the stairs to the base entrance. Pyro flushed under their mask, muffling out a "Yeah, yeah whatever, you love me." and rolling their eyes. You chuckled, opening the door to base and dragging yourselves to the living room. Pyro plopped onto the couch, sinking into the plush cushions and removing their mask. They knew the rest of the team wouldn't be back for a while, and the heat of the day had done a number to both of you. You took your seat next to them, sitting back and resting your feet on the coffee table in front of you. "Wanna watch tv?" They asked, grabbing the remote. "Yeah whatevs" You responded, yawning and stretching your arms over your head. An hour of mindless game shows, and you had passed out, head falling on their shoulder. Pyro chuckled, turning the tv down and dimming the lights. They pecked your forehead, and cuddled into you, making themself comfortable.
Demoman: Demo certainly didn’t take you as a drinker, let alone a party animal like himself! You go out for a couple drinks together after a team winning streak and manage to arrive back to base blasted out of your minds, clinging onto one another for dear life in your drunken stupor. “IIIIII LOOVE YOU DEMOOO!!!!” You proclaimed, enveloping your arms around the Scott’s neck. Grinning and face burning, he wrapped his arms around your waist, attempting to gently guide you back to your bedroom. His ongoing feelings for you had always been pushed down, and despite knowing that you were probably just super wasted and wouldn’t remember it in the morning, he didn’t want to waste possibly his only chance to spill at least some of his feelings to you. “Aye, i looove you too y/nnnn” Tavish slurred, poking your face in various places. You laughed and kissed the man on the cheek, “DAAATE ME TAAVAVVVV!!” You lamented, cupping his face in your hands. The sudden movement causing you both to topple over onto the floor of your room. Demo sat up and leant against the foot of your bed, you, laughing hysterically, joined him. Resting your head on his shoulder, your laughter dribbled off to giggles and you listened to his thundering heartbeat. "I really do like you, Tav.." You whispered, peering down at the floor, feeling a wave of tiredness wash over you. You nuzzled into his shoulder, and drifted off, leaving a beet faced Demo staring down at you.
Heavy: Visiting Heavy's home during the middle of a Russian winter was a less than ideal scenario, but the team had wanted to see what a "real winter" was like, and now here you were trudging 2 foot deep in snow towards the wooden lodge. Heavy opened the door to the sight of 9 freezing mercs, and scoffed. "Inside." He commanded. You furrowed your brows and complied, shivering from the contrast of hot air. "Drink." A mug of hot coco was given to you by the gentle giant. "T-thanks.." You mumbled, walking over to the fireplace and sitting cross legged in front of it. Most of the mercs were directed to their rooms, some lounged around in the kitchen or dining area, having quiet conversations. Heavy sat next to you, mug in hand. This was already too close to comfort for you, and he could tell. Whilst he had been crushing on you for a while, he was oblivious to whether you returned those feelings - believing that you were scared of him. But right now your tired eyes and pink cheeks said otherwise, seeking some form of comfort from the man. "Come, I will hold you to warm you up." Mikhail gave you no room for choice, and you were still freezing. You complied and scooted closer to Heavy, resting your head on his chest as he wrapped an arm around you. In an instant, you had fallen asleep, curled up on Heavy, the body heat shared between the two of you giving more warmth than the blazing heat permeating from the fireplace in front of you.
Engineer: Even after hours of battling, the match on 2fort had yet to finish. Scouts from both sides rushing for the briefcase, only to instantly die from sentry guns, Spies in disguise, or a Heavy hopped up on ubercharge. You were ready to drop, the respawn machine healing your wounds but doing nothing for your exhaustion. You knew that Dell was stationed in the intelligence room, sentry setup so anyone who trespassed would be delt with. The perfect place to catch a few z's before heading back out to the fight. "Yo Dell, can I maybe rest down here for a bit?" You implored, watching the man upgrade a dispenser. "Sure darlin'," He smiled earnestly, you gave him a look of relief. Curling up under the desk, you attempted to sleep, but the lack of cushioning made it an impossible task. Dell noticed, and gave the dispenser one last 'clonk' with his spanner before accompanying you under the table. "Here," He scootched up next to you, "You can rest on me if you'd like." You looked up at him, his cheeks felt hot. "Wow - yeah, thanks Dell." Blood rushed to your face as you situated your head on his shoulder. "Anytime, pumpkin." He muttered. Sleep was instantaneous, Engie held his breath until he was sure you were out cold, letting out a deep sigh and smiling down at the floor. How did he get so lucky?
Medic: Medic suffered long nights in the infirmary, and during those nights you would often visit him to keep him company. It was routine - you would saunter in around 9pm, sitting on the edge of the operating table, your feet barely touching the floor, chin resting in the palms of your hands as he tinkered away. He reveled in it - he had grown attached to this schedule, and by extension, you. Your mere presence made him giddy, seeing your sweet smile before he put you under anesthetics made his heart swell. The best nights were the ones where you would let him operate on you, he would be able to enact out his writings, throwing things at the wall and seeing what stuck. Then, you'd either walk out around 3am, or respawn from a botched surgery, and go to bed. Tonight, however, you had proven to be far too tired for a surgery, let alone a full night of softly rambling to Ludwig about whatever crossed your mind. You had pulled up the operating chair and sat next to him, eyes flickering between him and the notes he had been writing in his medical book, slowly drifting off. Your head fell on his shoulder, fast asleep. Medic peered down at you from over his glasses, breathing a lovestruck sigh. Maybe these were the best nights.
Sniper: The middle of the day in Sniper's van was akin to hell. The air smelt stale, windows wide open, no aircon, just the both of you sweaty, sticky, and half clothed. This would usually have embarrassed the two of you, but the 40 degree weather and sound of the other mercs outside attempting to cool off using a singular hose had you both choosing to stay indoors, not wanting to get involved in the argument currently taking place between Demo and Soldier. Heat fogged your brain, you felt so tired, your body sweat all of your energy out. "Fuck, why couldn't you get an AC installed?" You groaned, lazily shutting your eyes and fanning your face with your hand. Sniper shrugged, and despite not being able to see the motion, you scoffed. "Dunno," Mick responded nonchalantly. He trailed off, seemingly succumbing to the same heat induced exhaustion you were fighting with. You opened your eyes slightly, confirming your suspicions that Sniper had also closed his. Arms crossed, head pointing downwards, God, he looked so comfortable. Mick could tell what you were thinking, and he wanted nothing more than to cuddle up to you, but he couldn't bring himself to move. You were close like that, almost reading one another's minds at times. So you made the first step, sliding over to him and laying your head on his shoulder. Sniper was uncomfortably hot, yet refusing to move an inch as you slept on him. Eventually, he couldn't help but nod off alongside you.
Spy: The drive back from your mission was excruciating. Sniper and Medic sat in the driver and passenger seats respectively, the only sound was the droning radio hosts on the van's radio. You had failed, and you knew Spy was seething from the loss. You, however, were so tired you couldn't even stand. Partially from the bullet lodged in your calf, partially from the athlete level running you had to do in order to get back to the van after the high elected government official had caught you in the act attempting to steal nuclear launch codes. Spy was the one to snatch the codes, but you had still been seen, and that in of itself was a failure. Incidentally, Spy had been the one to offer you aid once you were safely in the van. Your arm draped around his shoulders, wincing at the sharp pains running up your leg. As much as he tried to hate you, he just....couldn't. You were too sweet, too kind. So, he opted instead to blame Medic and Sniper for being unable to damage control the situation better. You were slipping in and out of consciousness, head slowly rocking towards Spy's shoulder, and then awkwardly leaning back towards the wall of the vehicle. "Rest your head on me, mon cher. Otherwise you are going to break your nose." He grunted. In an instant you had passed out on him, breathing in the strong scent of cigarettes and expensive cologne. He sighed a breath of relief, enjoying your gentle pressure on his side. Smitten was an understatement.
