It’s an animal farm now and I’m glad it isn’t houses instead but a few years ago before its sale this pond and the land around it were only mowed once or twice a year and it was full of native wetland plants. It looked like this in late August. I would see wood ducks, herons and egrets there in different seasons and lots of species in migration. I’m grateful that I knew it then.

SO here were my thoughts for the designs

solanum: quantum moon motif!! she’s intended to be mostly monochrome (even tho the colour filters I used make her look purple) and purple eyes + clothes bc eye of the universe yknow yknow, and the swirly patterns on her clothes are how I draw clouds but my friend said they also look like the nomai writing which yes!! totally intentional awesome double meaning LOL :> and the circle glasses bc people keep giving her them and it’s adorable ignore the fact that 3/4 designs have glasses IT SUITS THEM ALL OK

poke: yes!! asymmetrical design!! since I based her off the white/black holes since she’s the one who recreated the warp cores yknow yknow AND the icy blue eyes… ice….. interloper…..ehehehehehe >:) also the pattern on her clothes is the pattern on the glass on the advanced warp core!! same with pye

also the matching warp core earrings with pye I thought I was sooooo clever for that one I love yuri

pye: admittedly for these last two I did not have as many ideas as the first two BUT I did kind of want her to have a vaguely mad scientist vibe? hence the big kinda messy ponytail and cracked glasses and also green… bc ghost matter….ehehehehehe

idaea: sadly I had even LESS ideas for him but im still happy with the design!! my main ideas were making him look very neat/collected and have a sun station motif… the pattern on this clothes are the patterns from gravity tiles!!

The mask is finished and wearable! It’s actually quite comfortable considering how heavy the plastic is and the visibility is better than I was expecting (besides the peripheral vision). This is Pye in case the shirt didn’t give it away (the back also says women in stem— thanks to that one piece of fan art that I can’t find at the moment but if anyone knows who did it please let me know because it’s wonderful)

It’s rare that I materialize physically for long enough for anyone to know what I look like but I was just too happy with this creation to not share it!!

there are two executions scheduled next month

michael smith is scheduled to be executed by the state of oklahoma on april 4th, and brian dorsey in missouri on april 9th. of the time i'm writing this, willie pye was just killed last night by the state of georgia. none of these men should have been eligible for the death penalty: both mr. pye and mr. smith had/have intellectual disabilities and mr. dorsey was incapable of deliberation during the time of his crime which should have changed the nature of his murder charge.

Green-headed coneflower with some Joe Pye weed behind it just in bud. I used to know a spot where these grew together by a pond along with cardinal flower and tall meadow rue. A beautiful spot. But these are in my garden (bought from a good source, not dug from the wild).
