Veer!!! My other radiostatic kid, his sister is here if ur curious (I've edited hers a bit since I first posted it cause I figured out what exactly I want both their powers to be)
His lore dump under the cut :]
Veer is just as similar to Violette as he is different
He, too, is fucking insane, he just hides it a lot better. As an adult, he looks up to Alastor a lot and tries to mimic his demeanor, he tries to put on the constant unsettling smile and the unbothered attitude (he's got like Alastor's personality but colder and more manipulative). He likes acting detached and aloof, but he can be pretty quick to anger and have his facade broken if a person knows the right buttons to push (something Violette LOVES doing and is very good at because ✨siblings✨).
Basically, he lays on his, "idgaf I'm better than you" attitude a lot more thick and more coldly than Alastor, but it breaks more easily when confronted by those who know him well
He runs his and Vi's company and has to put on his facade constantly to keep up their image, they're both on their way to becoming Overlords
Whereas Violette has Vox's obsessive personality and propensity for being a girlfailure combined with Alastor's chaos loving nature, Veer has Vox's obsession with perfecting his image and appearing in control combined with Alastor's performatively detached demeanor
His powers include:
He can traverse across reflective surfaces (ei. glass, water, mirrors) (he wears glasses so that he can jump use this ability whenever he wants - and also he has bad eyesight in one eye that he got from Alastor)
Can summon tentacles made of electricity
Can control electricity in general
Connection to radio waves
Can traverse the internet (but can't control it or connect to it without being in direct contact with a device like a phone or something)
Can breathe underwater
He gets annoyed a lot at Violette for wasting her potential with her shadow-control abilities and wishes she would take things more seriously
Anyway I'm trying think up a name for my AUs, for the one for where they're kids when Alastor returns I think I've got a good idea for it, but I can't think of one for the AU where they're adults
As with Violette, feel free to ask me about Veer :3

ooh yes!! i’d definitely be interested in talking more about hybrids and if u wanted to talk about the differences that’d be rly cool! i def look forward to that but no pressure!!<33
also.. on the topic of monsterfucking cuz werewolves… um.. sirens? im easily influenced atp but i saw a drabble where like.. a siren’s kiss can make you orgasm, like they can make you cum just from making out with u and bringing u to the edge that way without even having touched u.. the siren putting their fingers into ur cunt to feel you clench n gush around their digits😳😳😵💫😵💫😵💫 u may have already seen smth like this before but yeah!!! not 100% sure who i see as a siren… maybe juyeon, sunwoo, sunghoon, heeseung, taeyoung, seongmin, jungmo, jiwoong, hanbin??? just off the top of my head i am just thinking about specific idols now🥴🥴
- 🧁 anon
stopppdkhdbfnf seongmin⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ siren!seongmin⁉️⁉️ sorry i immediately tunnel visioned to that i very clearly have a problem :3
i see ur vision n i raise u : needing to kiss ur siren partner to be able to breathe underwater so they can drag u down to the most insidious depth of the ocean AND their spit also working as an aphrodisiac to the point if u r exposed to it enough u can orgasm from only kissing them ★_★ (does it make sense for sirens to have spit as underwater beings ? i dont think so , im pretty sure sea creatures dont need it . will i still include it bc idgaf ? yeah :3)
now idk how far into monsterfucking territory we wanna get but ..... pretty sirens with tentacles 🫠 (yes im thinking abt jungmo yes i will write something abt it like rn immediately after im done with this ask) ... sirens with a breeding kink but instead of cum they fill u with their eggs bc ofc they dont reproduce like humans !
srry if any of this is too much i got a little carried away with my thoughts :')
also ur list is so perfect like yes all of them + chanhee n maybe hao ?? idk they give me siren vibes too . n any of my fromis girls , n junji n yoojung too !!

Criminal Minds My Unpopular Opinions
Some of us don’t hate Gideon we just recognize that he’s a bit too insensitive when it comes to certain things and there were obviously things wrong with him from the get-go
People actually loved Elle, but not her choices. She went through something traumatic and no one really helped her
Both of their exits were lowkey lazy
All of Reid’s issues are addressed in like 2-5 episodes and then it’s like “NEVER HAPPENED”
Reid went through worse in the Tobias Hankle episode alone than Elle did in the Fisher King episode idgaf
Emily was a Godsend
Emily literally radiates 🌈🌟💫✨Lesbian✨💫🌟🌈
Reid is still a bisexual disaster
He doesn’t have a bf or gf for years and why? Because of a crush on JJ that was addressed for one episode and never talked about again
Fuck you CBS we were robbed and that was biphobic as fuck
Rossi was a bit more fucked up than pre-frank Gideon, but he was around longer to redeem himself which is why no one hates him
Rossi’s sass was life
Everyone on the team had some of their moments when I was like “They’re lowkey a dick”
That whole team needed a psych eval by the end of every season
That whole team needed therapy idc
My OG Team will always be Hotch, Rossi, Emily, JJ, Morgan, Spencer, and Penelope
They were always taking their anger out on Garcia and it made me mad
And she would just take it respectfully
I would’ve spazzed
Emily fit into the equation better than Elle. Within 3 episodes everyone loved her
I feel like each team member had a dark™️ backstory
Morgan especially in my opinion
Ellie Spicer was a bold ass little girl and she owns my love (last episode of season 5, first episode of season 6)
Reid literally went from Baby to Daddy
Long haired, slight beard Reid owns my entire heart
Seeing Reid cry is terrible
When JJ was taken away my soul was crushed and I hated it there
There were times Strauss was cool, but overall I hated her and would put cyanide in her coffee 10/10 would recommend
They honestly take Garcia for granted
The BAU live for kicking door in, like damn can a nigga get up first
ASHLEY SEAVER WAS NOT A BAD PERSON AND WAS AN EXCELLENT AGENT REGARDLESS OF HER ONE MISTAKE IN HER FIRST EPISODE
The team has done worse things and we forgave them or even made excuses for them, but Ashley didn’t do A N Y T H I N G wrong.
The only reason people hate her is because when Reid was rambling she got overwhelmed and was a bit mean but the team has said worse things to him
Reid really is still bisexual because in season 7 episode 2 when he was angry at JJ, he was PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE!!! No straight man is passive aggressive they just get aggressive.
No matter how many time we hear about Morgan’s past, it still tears us up
There have been time when we all had to pause the show and just take a breather
A lot of us are scared to have kids one day because of the horrible things we see and we feel as if we can’t protect them enough
A lot of us want to start fostering or adopting kids so they’ll have a safe home because of the awful homes we see in the show
Examples: The home where the lady would stick the kids underwater. The one where the kids were kidnapped, killed, and replace. The one where ellie’s foster brother tried to look at her in the shower.
We still can’t believe that there are this many sickos out there even though the evidence is in front of us. All of these episodes are based on real cases just some more than others.
Lucky, To Hell..., ...And Back, and Legacy still fuck us up to this day
To be added to as seasons go on

SIGH so i’m done playing breath of the wild. i beat it about two weeks ago but i just now completed all shrines and sidequests. i thought about hating myself even more by trying to collect all 900 korok seeds but it’s not worth it just to have that 100% in the map screen (plus korok seeds stopped being useful a long time ago). i have 100%d all zelda games i own (except OoX) but i just can’t be bothered for this one.
having replayed all zelda games at least twice, i can’t say i will be doing the same for botw. here are my [long] thoughts about it (spoiler-free):
i can’t say i loved it. i think i was just playing just for the sake of playing it because....duh, it’s a zelda game (plus i sort of spent a crapload of money on the game+console). as a long-time zelda fan, it just...didn’t feel like a zelda game to me. i’m not opposed to change, in fact i was extremely excited to finally play this game, but the overall product just didn’t satisfy me at all. it just felt like a very dull and unfulfilling experience.
- the overworld. i kept saying it over and over in my head while playing this game: it’s just too damn fucking huge for its own good. and it’s boring as hell to traverse. there aren’t really that many interesting things to do other than look for shrines. oh cool you can climb that mountain way over there? for what? oh haha a korok seed. most of the time, nothing. good job. it just felt tiring and bothersome to explore huge empty spaces of nothing. horses aren’t very useful since most of the time i was warping to try to not bore myself from wandering around empty spaces. i replayed the original loz at least like 5 or 6 times and i absolutely adored exploring every corner of the overworld. botw’s? yawn snore zzzz.
- weapon durability. i mentioned it in an earlier post but i hope this is something that never comes back to a zelda game. it’s especially shitty when you beat a shrine and your reward is a weapon. oh, a weapon that will break after 20 hits or less. so your reward disappears instead of it being something useful that you can actually keep for the rest of the game. this might just be a personal preference but i just hated the weapon system, especially when you find out that the master sword and the hylian shield can actually also break instead of being able to use them infinite number of times (and don’t tell me “oh it’s because otherwise you would never have used any other weapon!” bc idgaf, frost weapons and spears are cool and i would have used them either way)
- the story. oh my god. i know this is supposed to be a throwback to the original zelda, where you can go straight and kill ganon, but my goodness....it’s 2017. how is it that we got such a barebones story?? when i finally got to zora’s domain i was excited. i was finally getting to the story. boy i was wrong. the game gave me zero reason to care about saving the world and its inhabitants (except the gorons, which i think were the greatest in this game). i fucking hate that the story is mostly told through memories. the worst part is, the story told through the memories is more exciting than the one you play through the game. i hate that we are told from the start “you have to save hyrule and the princess because um....you’re a hero, you just don’t remember haha! so GO!!!!” instead of showing me actual, emotional reasons to want to save these people. through the memories we just become spectators, instead of the story actually making us bond and feel something for the people we are saving (except, again, yunobo, who i will save 1000 times if i have to). not even princess zelda’s incredible character growth (which, once again, HAPPENS IN THE MEMORIES and NOT in the present) can save the story from being lackluster. i would talk more about this but then it’d take up the whole post.
- the music. i’ve also complained about it before, but it’s a fucking joke, especially since it’s a zelda game, which are mostly known from having really good soundtracks. for me, there are zero memorable soundtracks. i think i only liked two, the one where you are near a Tower and when you are near a shrine. even minecraft, a freaking indie game, had better ambient music than botw. exploring the overworld becomes 3600% more BORING because as you’re walking, all you hear is link’s footsteps and clanky armor. so the overworld becomes twice as empty because 90% of the time, there is no music. except the five random ass piano keys you hear from time to time. it’s just bad and it makes me sad. people seemed to have hated SS’s OST, but at least it gave us Fi’s Theme and the magnificence that is the Lanayru Sand Sea theme. now THAT’S music that truly takes you into the game and gives it the proper ambiance that the overworld tries to portray. botw? a sad, sad attempt. i’m honestly wondering what they will play during botw’s section at the symphony of the goddess’s tour.
- the sidequests. 90% of the sidequests are boring fetch quests and “kill this type of enemy plz”. it’s just boring and tedious and the rewards are a joke (mostly, rupees, materials which you can easily find ANYWHERE, or food). it’s time for zelda to step up in the sidequests department and give me good, engaging, emotional-investing sidequests that tell me more about a certain character, or which tell me more about the world, or overall just make me CARE about its inhabitans that i’m trying to save. MM is the king of sidequests and botw once again pales in comparison.
- the dungeons. the first one (Vah Ruta) was cool. then it got boring and repetitive, really fast. all the dungeons look identical. the dungeons are for the most part short. there are no enemies inside the dungeons except these flying skeletons that die with one hit. oh yeah and maybe a robot here and there. so there’s some enemies but nothing tough. the premise revolves around manipulating the dungeon by rotating it to discover new areas. so it’s like playing four Stone Towers from MM. Except i guess the Gerudo dungeon, which added an element of electricity (that was cool). but other than that, all of the dungeons are pretty much the same and after you’ve played one, you’ve pretty much played them all, which is sad because it takes away the element of surprise and “oh man i wonder what the theme of the next dungeon will be?”
- the enemies. the lack of variety is a joke. there’s like 4 or 5 types of bokoblins, which just differ in their color and strength. oh and that’s the same for octoroks, moblins, lizalfos, chuchus, lynels, and wizzrobes (which are a fucking joke in this game. remember when wizzrobes were actually tough in the original game?). oh crap, i’ve actually mentioned 90% of the enemies you will face in the game... i think in total there might be 10 or 11, which is PATHETIC when you consider how fucking huge the overworld is. sad sad sad.
- stamina is stupid and so is climbing. stamina was tolerable in SS because of those silent realms you had to beat: you had to be careful of running and climbing and wearing out your stamina because of those crazy-ass guardians. so it made sense because it adds a challenge to the silent realms. in botw, for a game that focuses so much on exploring and climbing, stamina becomes a hindrance that actually makes it annoying to explore the world. you better not run out of stamina while trying to climb that mountain over there lest you run out and have to start all over!!! joy.
- the graphics. can nintendo please try something else with zelda graphics now. don’t get me wrong, i loved TWW and SS, but....these cel-shading graphics (or whatever they’re called) are getting tiresome. i didn’t like how most of the time the game looks bloom-y and blurry af (it’s especially bad when it’s raining or snowing). people complained about TP’s bloom effects but i feel like botw’s light effect (or whatever the hell that causes it to look like someone just put 200% of brightness on an image using photoshop) really takes away from trying to enjoy the scenery and view that the game tries to offer. for the next game can we try something like hyrule warriors or tp or hell even mm 3d? thx.
- the rain. it. rains. so. fucking. much.
haha oh man i never realized how many things i didn’t like about this game. i think i’ll stop here and talk about the things i did like:
- the shrines. although i didn’t like how all of them had the exact same design, the puzzles in them were cool and very zelda-ish.
- the warping system. thank god there are so many warp points to traverse the overworld because otherwise i would have never finished this game.
- the clothes system. i really liked all of the costume options the game gives you, and the fact that you can change the color of the clothes. it takes me back to the OoT days except with more variety. very nice.
- the runes. i loved not having to worry about running out of bombs and the ice rune was very cool and useful: it’s like having infinite ice arrows from MM to make platforms on the water! also the puzzles that involved stopping time with the statis rune were awesome. oh and grabbing treasure from underwater with magnesis never gets old.
- yunobo. yunobo is pure and great and needs to be protected at all costs.
- lynels. for once, a deadly enemy you actually have to be careful with and prepare yourself with good strategy to beat. i remember when i saw my first lynel i was so scared to approach it. they gave lynels such a great treatment and it’s the same one that wizzrobes should have gotten.
- the variety of the weapons.
- revali’s gale. saved me from having to climb so many mountains with its gust that elevates you so high. also after 3 it re-generates in 5 minutes. a blessing.
- the towns. i loved how lively they look. it’s like clock town from mm and it’s great.
- princess zelda. great character development and she has become my second favorite zelda (behind ST Zelda which will always be the best [while oot zelda continues to be the worst])
summary: while i enjoyed some aspects of the game, overall it just was very tiresome and unfulfilling. for a game that boasted about being open world, the world itself was just so barren of interesting things to do and explore. exploring the world of Xenoblade Chronicles, a fucking Wii game, was way more exciting because the environment, story, and music had more to offer. if there’s one thing i can thank botw for, is that it re-awoke my love for zelda games such as TWW, TP, and SS, which i will probably re-play next. i’m all for evolving the zelda series, and i thank botw for trying, but i honestly hope this game will not be the new zelda formula to follow. PEACE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#zelda#botw#junk#wow i didn't expect this to be so long#but it just had to be done#this was very therapeutic :y#sigh#botw criticism

another analysis: swiss army man
at first glance, while it could be as interpreted as just some dude with a crush enacting his love fantasies in her back yard with a corpse, but that’d be wrong. he’s not even in love with the girl, and the movie shows that it’s a kind of fantasical world and manny’s not just a regular corpse?
brace yourselves y’all this one’s long.
except in swiss army man hank isn’t in love with sarah he just wants to become her? it’s still like a gross obsession, but it’s in idealizing this still image where she’s at peace and happy and he’s a sack of shit on a bus. he doesn’t really care about her, just that image of her in a sunny yellow dress, writing in her journal. it’s the feeling of having her shit together, of being intelligent and not having to talk to others for approval. and peace with herself, enough to write down her own thoughts. the thing that gets them out of the woods is the image of her, again. it’s not a discussion on what her body must feel like, her lips, her skin, or any other sexual thought, just that image.
even though it turns out that they’re basically in sarah’s backyard by the end of the journey (manny’s dick just chose that house), it’s not like they’re creeping on her specifically. yes, he looks at her social media, but not necessarily with the goal of peeping on her or violating her privacy (maybe it was a too much to even take a pic of her, he keeps admitting he’s a shitty person). he wants her happiness, not her.
the repeated visual of hank in obvious drag, the shoddy wig, the raggy dress, is an image of his attempts to hold up a facade of happiness and how bad he is at it. he’s obviously very concerned with the way his parents feel about him (prevents him from masturbating-expressing his needs even in the quietest and most private moments) and the way society feels about him (his excuse about dressing as a woman wasn’t that he was uncomfortable-he was even happy when told he’s beautiful. his complaints are about other people), and these emotions weigh heavily on him. he wants to kill himself in the beginning ffs.
speaking of, the film is really not sexual. manny gets an erection but it’s used as a compass, he’s disgusted with his penis and doesn’t know what a vagina is. hank, when he gets the chance to talk about sex, reacts in a restrained way, he doesn’t even masturbate, is presumably a virgin, and even when alone with manny he doesn’t talk about women in a sexual way, it’s all about the romance.
manny, i think, is meant to be a sort of empty vessel, a tool (a swiss army man, if you will) to help hank figure himself out. he’s a reflection of hank- a dead man who wants to live, and a living man who wants to die. a conscious mind with a body unable to act freely. except hank is the ego, constantly in his head about every little thing, even hiding to fart being stranded in the wilderness. manny’s the id, obviously being clueless to society and the restraints it creates, talking brashly and innocently about farting and masturbating. as they work together, they rely on each other to survive. they have to reconcile.
so there’s this build up, of them getting to know each other, using each other to move forward, and eventually, you get this almost kiss between them when they’re drunk (cut short) followed by a scene where there’s unnamed tension between them. underwater, they do kiss, on the brink of death, and hank is surprised that manny has life saving air inside of him. it’s a baptism scene, where the sexual (romantic?) tension has been resolved, they reconcile, and they survive. the way it’s shot- with flashes back to the “party” where they were supposed to kiss, hints that this moment is a resolution.
rocket river, the song playing when they surface has interesting lyrics (the only one in the movie with three parts that have sung words)-one part, in awe at the depths of emotions of another (how were you heartless?/i saw your sadness) and what they’re doing (totally crazy/we’re fucking sailing!) and also empathetic and melancholy (i took your sadness/ and made it my own + i see a sad me/ mirrored in your soul). another voice is incoherent but curious and wanting to help (i want to climb in your brain devour the where on we know you still have feelings of you’re still afraid of the shame). there’s an understanding of each other at this point, mutualism. the last voice, is also one of comfort, that they’re not just useless sacks of shit (everything, everywhere, matters to everything). still up in the air who the voice belongs to.
the movie is bisected here, so now that they’ve joined, hank decides to be honest about the whole ordeal, that the phone is his, that sarah doesn’t know either of them. with the hurt of betrayal, manny stops being useful to hank, his machine gun mouth stops working. hank gets a gruesome leg injury from a bear. they start a downward spiral, where they both start accepting and wanting death. so there’s a thing where they accept death, and now, not holding onto that false hope anymore, where all the honesty happens, and there are no more lies between them, and they’ve broken all the social taboos and talked about everything, when everything is laid bare, true empathy is possible. manny even gains the ability to share his thoughts. then, the roles become reversed. hank is as good as dead, on the ground, immobile, and manny gains the ability to move. he carries hank to sarah’s house, and they fight manny questioning why he can’t poke and prod the same way hank has poked and prodded him. again, this is a part open to interpretation so i won’t go too far here. realizing that others won’t accept him, manny returns to being dead.
do i think manny and hank are supposed to be romantically involved? not necessarily. i do think that hank is queer and ashamed of it, whether that means he’s trans (he does like being in that dress, however haphazard it is, and he seems genuinely happy to hear he’s beautiful that way) or it’s about his sexual orientation (he’s incredibly sexually frustrated, feels no one will love him, and extremely guarded about being with manny in intimate contexts at the start) it’s not entirely clear, but i don’t think it matters too much for the narrative. speculate all you want here, but it should also be noted that manny is sort of a generic name with man in it-no last name given. the lyrics to the song playing are meant to be taken literally; the lyrics narrate that they’ve killed raccoons, using manny like a machine gun and building a fire. why not believe it when the song alludes to them falling in love? however, the movie is still highly metaphorical. whether manny represents a part of hank and it’s just sort of the parts of him coming together, or whether manny’s representative of a separate entity that allows hank to open up about himself away from society and gives him freedom to be himself, it’s up to the viewer to decide, idgaf. either way, the homoerotic aspects of the film are very purposeful and they’re not played entirely comically. hank expressing happiness at being called beautiful, confusion and panic at manny’s erection, the makeshift bus scene, the kiss, etc.
i get irked when people say it’s just mindless gay necrophilia because there’s a lot of things about accepting oneself, even the parts that are hard to, and that this half-dead guy isn’t just a dead body- the cameraman picks up manny farting away into the ocean, released into the wind. he’s kind of a spirit, i think, but it’s all very confusing. and the argument that this was just all happening in hank’s head, while it can be substantiated, isn’t the most compelling argument. it centres on farts, but it’s themes aren’t immature. it’s meant to be ridiculous and imaginative. no one’s advocating fucking a corpse. in fact, the people, when they realize how close hank is to the presumed dead body, they’re disgusted and ready to arrest him, but upon having proof that manny’s not quite dead, hank’s dad even smiles a bit and nods to him.
could it have been conveyed in the same way had they not used the fart as a mechanism to question society? i don’t think so. it’s not just fart humour, it’s an analysis of why we think farts are a social taboo. they’re necessary and intimate. why of all things, is gas seen as something funny?
the film says a lot about self loathing, emasculation, the toxicity of society on expectations of gender roles and expression, and how it all ties into mental illness. it’s disheartening to see people dismiss a film like this. how can it be whiny heterocissexism when it puts into question the legitimacy of these institutions?

Triform Trinity’s Questions
If you had the chance to write one article that could change a person’s life. What would you write about given your previous content?
Based on my previous content I guess it would be about not feeling awkward/guilty/bad/etc about your hobbies that some people perceive as lazy or negative, like gaming or anything else you might enjoy doing in your spare time, and learning to embrace them.
One day you see a portal to another world. Where does it take you?
A world where everyone is a mythical creature (based on their personality) so some are unicorns, some are fairies, dryads, griffins, satyrs, etc… But there’s also gorgons, sirens, crab people, werewolves… None are necessarily good or evil, so no big war going on, they all find a way to use their talents, sirens give singing lessons, griffins are used for long distance air travel, dryads are great gardeners, the satyrs are really good musicians, gorgons are great sculptors. They just have loads of great parties.
What type of music is your home? The type that you can always fall back on to fully relax and is the one that interests you the most.
My mum has really good taste in music (in my opinion) and I love listening to my favourites from her selection when I’m chilling out. This would be stuff like Otis Redding, Amy Winehouse, Kirsty Maccoll, The Small Faces, Salt-N-Pepa, Destiny’s Child… So sort of souly with some tongue in cheek pop I guess.
You are making a game, what genre are going with and why?
I would make an RPG because I’m always a big fan of those and I love the freedom you have in some of them to develop your character.
Breathing in space or breathing under water. Which one do you choose?
I would love to breathe underwater. Mermaid was pretty high on my list of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I absolutely love swimming and if I could breathe underwater I would just build myself a little sea house in a nice coral reef somewhere… I never understood The Little Mermaid, why would you give up being a mermaid for a guy? Especially a guy you’ve only seen once. Ariel was a bit of an idiot really.
Favorite mascot?
Mascots aren’t really a huge thing in the UK… Can I say the deflating Pikachu that got aggressively dragged off stage at the Pokémon World Festival? I felt bad for him.
What is your morning routine before going to work/school/etc.?
I fight the urge to stay in bed, wondering how long it would take for people to come and kick me out of my flat and super comfortable bed if I just never went to work. I eventually drag myself up and turn off the alarm that I have to now leave at the other side of the room because I can’t be trusted to have it next to the bed in case I snooze it. I grumble my way to the kitchen and do 15 minutes of yoga where I go through an incredible transformation turning into something resembling a human being somewhere between cobra pose and sun salutation. Then I have a smoothie, get dressed, pack my lunch and snacks for the day, make sure my pet rats have some food, realise I’m running a little late, sprint out the door and go downstairs, run back up the stairs because I think I forgot to lock the door but no, I did lock the door, so I sprint back out and head to work.
Tell me a story of when you encountered your first video game.
I honestly don’t remember my first video game, let alone the encounter. It was probably either Tetris or Pokémon Yellow. I’ll talk about the latter because I remember that one the most, and rather than tell a story, as I can’t remember it, I’ll just say what I remember. First off, I really hated Gary Oak. From the arrogant music that accompanied him and his trademark ‘smell ya later!’ slogan I hated him. I ‘d call him Buttface or something to get petty revenge but it was never enough. One thing I did love was Pikachu, especially the fact that Pikachu walks behind you and you can talk to him. I always enjoyed starting the game over after a few gyms, I liked getting the weaker Pokémon and getting them to evolve (and I still do!). I played it in a very chill way and just enjoyed wandering about. I loved my Gameboy Colour and would take it everywhere with me, even battling my bad car sickness sometimes so that I could play it more. Hope that makes up for not being able to remember the story of my first encounter with it!
Actual pic of my Gameboy Color and Pokémon Yellow game, both of which still work!
What is your element?
Water.
Why is this your element?
I love water, as mentioned in a previous question I would love to be a mermaid. If I ever got super rich I’d have a swim up bar in my garden swimming pool with flumes, diving boards, slides, everything… It would be like a water utopia. Besides swimming in it I love the sound of the rain, it’s a really calming sound, and I drink loads of it I guess so there’s that too.
Running or walking to your destination?
I hate jogging, it’s one of the wort things someone could voluntarily put themselves through. Why someone would choose to do that? Walking it is!

The Codex: Online’s Questions
1. In your lifetime, what has been your favorite year for gaming?
Ah, well after writing a post a while ago where I had to list a game for each year I’ve been alive I realised that 2002 actually had so many games that I love come out. Primarily Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, Neverwinter Nights, Age of Mythology, and Pokémon Sapphire.
2. Favorite Console? Why?
Right now PS4 because it’s my only console, we do have a PC but I don’t want to spend more time on a PC after being at work all day so it gets put on the side lines a bit. I do really want a Nintendo Switch though and I dare say that might take the place of favourite if I get one.
3. Favorite song on the radio, right now?
I don’t actually listen to the radio that much because I hate hearing the same songs over and over again, unfortunately I can’t always escape it in the office so I think I would say IDGAF by Dua Lipa. It’s not the sort of thing I normally listen to but it’s fun and catchy.
4. Favorite shower jam song?
I’M WALKING ON SUNSHIIIIINE WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAH!!!!
5. Perfect weather?
I love the sun. I live really close to the beach and I often wish for lovely sunny days so that I can go there for the whole day. I love taking a good book, eating ice cream, sun bathing and attempting to swim in the English Channel, I’ve tried it several times and once your entire body goes numb you don’t notice how cold it is!
6. A place you’ve travelled to before and wish you’d never left?
This is kind of skewed because a) I was very young and you tend to remember things in a more glorified way when you’re younger, and b) I had the 5 star treatment in an amazing hotel and resort so it’s not really the experience of the actual country itself or one that I’d be able to afford now. When I was 7 we went to Dubai and I can still remember it so well, it was absolutely incredible. We stayed in a wave shaped hotel next to a water park and an incredible beach, the food was amazing, everything I remember was amazing… I would love to go back one day. I’m worried that I’ll be disappointed though because things will have changed so much or it won’t be how I remembered it.
Maybe one day I’ll go back…
7. If you were invited to an episode of dancing with the stars, but had to be matched with a villain from your favorite game(s), who would your partner be?
I think Ganon from Legend of Zelda would dance a mean Tango. I probably wouldn’t because I would have a hard time keeping a straight face but he’d be pretty good.
8. Orlando, Florida. Would you rather spend the weekend at Universal Studios or Magic Kingdom (and all of it’s affiliated parks)?
I have never been to America, let alone Florida. I would love to go though. There’s so much I’d love to see in both Florida and just the whole of America that I don’t think I’d ever get the time!
I’d love to go to both of these but if I had to choose I think I’d go for Universal Studios, just because they have a Harry Potter section.
9. Did you invent a language when you were young? What was it called?
I did not, I wasn’t quite that creative!
10. Mc’Donalds or Burger King?
I do’t really eat fast food that much, and when I do it’s usually pizza. I suppose between these two I’d choose McDonald’s because I do like milkshakes and chicken nuggets.
11. Do you like the feeling of being warm in cold weather or being cool on a sunny day?
I hate being cold so I would say being warm in cold weather. I am one of those people that has a blanket in the office so that I can feel warmer when it’s cold. It’s actually a scarf but it’s really wide so it covers most of me. I’ve considered buying a heater to put under my desk and warm my feet as well…

My Questions
Are you going on holiday this year? (Or where have you already been on holiday this year?)
Type “I want a” into your phone and then let predictive text come up with the rest, then tell us what it says! (OK, this isn’t a question but I think it’s fun.)
Have you ever met someone famous?
What was the last thing you read? (Or the last movie you watched if you’re not into reading.)
What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
What would be your dream guest line-up a Comic Con?
You have to fight a minotaur, answer a difficult riddle, or climb a mountain to advance to the next stage of your life. Which one would you choose to do?
Which TV show is your guilty pleasure?
If you were to get sucked into a video game, like in the new Jumanji movie, would you be secretly pleased?
Which video game do you come back to over and over again and why?
If you could play only three games for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Thank you again for the nominations, and I hope you guys enjoy answering my questions!
Sunshine Blogger Award First of all, sorry for being a little AFK at the moment! What with the new God of War coming out and things suddenly getting a little more manic at work I've not really found the time to blog.

Hi! Do you have any plans about the Bermuda Triangle? Seeing the post about the Ningen made me to think about the place.
So uh.
I’ve left this ask for a few days because it isn’t the easiest to answer.
Once, about a year and a half ago, I had a fandom friend. You’ve probably seen their url around here sometimes - @underwater-witchery. We would share headcanons and ideas, come up with creatures and suchlike together, some of which involved the magical school they came up with. I like to build consistent universes and have things work together, so, as some of you may have seen in a few places, their magical school is mentioned on this blog - Blatherskite. Blatherskite is, in their headcanon, found in the Bermuda Triangle.
Thing is, they and I had a falling out. It’s not something I care to get into, it’s not an invitation to be a dick to them (do not be a dick to them. like idgaf as to how you might justify it, you don’t know the full story from either of us, so you don’t get to get involved, do not be a dick) but we had a falling out.
So. On the one hand, I don’t want to continue to give them a place on this blog by adding or including their blog much further. On another hand, I don’t want to mess with the universe I’ve built up here so far. On another hand, I don’t want to rewrite or overwrite what I’ve already got. On another hand still, I don’t want to dwell on it or put that much effort into eradicating it, giving it more value or worth than it has already.
So. I probably won’t be doing anything for the Bermuda Triangle. I probably also won’t be doing anything more for Blatherskite.
Sorry nonny, this is probably quite the let down. I hope you understand.
