alderheart: base fur color was taken from my brambleclaw's base fur layered over my squirrelstar's base fur and then tinkering with the opacity until it looked nice. both have the same stripe patterns + chin highlight as squirrelstar, and alderheart in specific got her freckles.

sparkpelt: some inspo taken from nanistar and powderseas :). tried to lower the amount of white i draw her with so it stands out more. i don't have much to say about her design but i think i'm satisfied with it for now

neither of them changed a whole lot from the last time i drew them. for alderheart in specific, i think literally only his tail pattern changed, and all he got was an extra stripe

my god. guys. just gotta scream about some medical stuff for a second. you know how i've been ill for quite some time. like really nastily ill. bizarre migraines, constant fatigue/joint pain, awful depressive mood swings? well, alongside some proper migraine meds, my doctor prescribed me vitamin D tablets. and the black cloud is gone. the fatigue is gone. the pain is gone. what!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭 this reinforces my belief that vitamin/mineral deficiencies can be extra insidious for neurodivergent folks because we're so used to ignoring our pain, and our difficulties with eating a wide range of foods/getting outside enough/breaking our routine/etc. set us up to be deficient!! 💔

to be clear, my doctor and the NHS say that folks in my country ought to be taking vitamin D supplements during the winter months anyway. it's actually mandated for everyone and i had no idea. just. enormous relief. getting my bloods done in a couple of weeks to confirm, but i wasn't expecting such an immediate effect 😳 so if anyone's been feeling unusually fatigued, sick, with disturbed menstrual cycles, migraines and moodswings, and there's no underlying cause...see if you can get your bloods checked, and consult with your doctor. especially if you're ND/get less sunlight/have a restricted diet!!!!

Late(ish) at night gman ramblings time

Honestly I have yet to find a popular theory as to what Gman is that actually feels like. right to me. Like some of them are neat ideas, if put into something fan made, but if it turned out to be canon, most of the outcomes i've seen feel like they'd be super disappointing, in my opinion of course.

I've seen theories about Gman being a Shu'ulathoi that shapeshifted into a humanoid form, and while the idea is novel, I honestly feel as though it. limits him too much. It removes the mystery aspect of him because now we know what he is, and what his motivations are. Like, if Valve ever truly confirmed that Gman is some sort of alien species that we can easily pinpoint, or even one we've seen before, it would feel like it's putting gman in a box that doesn't fit him.

To me, Gman is best left unknowable. He is a species that only has one member (maybe), he doesn't have a set true (or at least comprehensible) form, but he's definitely not human. He doesn't have a name, he has no set species that aligns with anything we have seen so far. An eldritch entity that is outside what we have observed within the Half Life universe. As much as I would love to learn more about Gman, I also fear the mystery of him being removed and overall making him feel less like a cosmic threat.

Overall I don't personally think most of the theories explaining what he could possibly be are correct for him. He is nothing, yet everything at the same time. True ambiguity.

I loovovvvveee the idea of Izumi being a corruption force. She is just the plague rat of the 1A girls bringing lesbianism and sexual liberation to the masses. I like to think that none of the guys know for soooo long. Like they all think that Izumi is just innocent sweet maybe abused girl and just do not twig for ages about her extra curricular activities.

Also Aizawa wanting to bash his head into a wall when he first catches Izumi sneaking out, like he does not want to even conceive of what she is getting up to.

I need you to know that I will forever think of EotS Izumi as “The Plague Rat™️” for the rest of my life okay. Mostly because it’s incredibly accurate.

She is here to cause chaos and bring enlightenment. That being said she is also there so her friends are safe about it. She’s the friend telling them that if they want to get high to come to her so she can curate the experience or the one playing guard dog at the bar if they ever go out together or cutting in when some creep tries to get too close on the dance floor or putting some asshole through a table of they try slipping something in her friend’s drink. Truly a drunk girl paladin for the ages.

The boys have absolutely no idea about Izumi (and her corrupting influence on the other girls) for so long it’s hilarious. They have no idea why the girls laugh so hard when they make jokes about stereotypical sleepovers on their side of the dorms.

God the fucking stand off that would be Izumi half out a window in full club attire and Aizawa Shouta’s exhausted ass trying to actively block out the memory as it’s happening is so funny. He goes through every stage of grief as Izumi slowly slips back inside because he’s heard enough stories from Nem to know this will not be the last time and Izumi will only get bolder. (Something that is proven when she makes full eye contact with him before bolting not a month later)

I said it here, but I'm not going to act as if Sukuna bringing Yuji back to life twice was any favor to Yuji.

Yuji himself would have rather die with Sukuna.

The first time Sukuna brought Yuji back to life (after he killed him, mind you) was because he wanted to use Megumi later after seeing what Megumi is capable of. Yuji is one of the closest people to Megumi and Sukuna was definitely going to extort that.

The second time in Shibuya wasn't really even Sukuna's doing because it was Jogo and the Hasaba Twins' doing. And what does Sukuna do with Yuji's body?

He kills people.

"Oh, but he defeated Mahoraga."

While he killed people. Sukuna is well aware of how to limit just how far his techniques can go. Sukuna could easily have made his techniques just hit Mahoraga. Sure, there were people caught in the crossfire and he couldn't be able to avoid them... but does that excuse him later showing Yuji what he had done?

He meant to kill people and he meant to do it to break Yuji. He's selfish, he's cruel. And even if there was a reason for his behavior, what reason does he have to be that way towards Yuji who didn't ask to be born and practically planned to be his vessel? That's not Yuji's fault.

Yuji does not need to be grateful for a damn thing Sukuna has done. Why in the fuck would Yuji be grateful to the one person who had done nothing but be malicious to him?

"Oh, yes, thank you, Lord Sukuna for bringing me back to life even though you have used my body to destroy many lives including the people I care about."
