91. Purple Potato Eaters.
Another Walrus episode in the books. :D
The best parts of this episode for me are the songs. Everything else is kinda... eh. You can feel the final 10 scraping the bottom of the barrel for story ideas. It's okay, just not one of my favorites.
For this one I decided to design an Instant Purple Potato Pancake mix. I thought the idea was cute and just kinda ran with it. *shrug*

Could I please have some Elphelt Valentine regressor HC’s? Thank you sm!!!

ELPHET VALENTINE (GUILTY GEAR) | REGRESSOR HCS
· ─────────꒰🐰꒱───────── ·
GOOD DAY FAVORITE MUTUAL, I present you my best attempts to hc this character! I love what she looks like. She gives off clumsy vibes. I also learned a little about her from my boyfriend.
🐰 • Absolutely mama/dada/cg's girl, she is clingy, very whiny and noisy. She can't be without her cg for even a minute.
🍡 • Speaking of noisiness, she does a few animal vocals and squeaks. She says a few sentences too though, especially when irritated.
🍨 • Probably regresses to 4-6 years old. She probably loves onesies, specifically ones with bunny ears or unicorn looking ones.
🐰 • Loves drawing and other activities! Running around and visiting the playground. She prefers the zoo over aquariums probably. She is very clumsy but doesn't whine much over getting bruised. Though she can sure leave her cg panicked with how purple her knees and elbows are!!
🍡 • Loves soft textures, hates crunchy textures. She isn't a picky eater, but prefers sweet foods and would want to eat pasta, mashed potatoes and stuff over meat. She likes a few veggies absolutely.
🍨 • Loves singing and dancing? Maybe
🐰 • I can't help but think that she is very bratty and would get into a problem just because she wants her cg to help her and give her all the attention. She's like an angel when sleepy, she gets very cuddly and needy.
🍡 • Is probably bossy at times, esp if she regresses to older ages.
🍨 • Loves sibbies! But is more reassured if her cg is nearby, though, sibbies help her focus on interacting with other people than just being glued to her cg.
🐰 • Probably has that kid plastic guitar and loves bath crayons.

late 2001 - Paranoia
((Content warning: anxiety / mental health issues ))
((Promptspiration: @whumptober-archive 2023: day 23: Its gonna get me by the end of the night. / Shadows / Stalking / "Who's there?" ))
((A couple months after the escaped Death Eater incident, which is largely what Theo's thoughts are referring to.))
Genre: hurt/comfort
Romance level: major
Angst level: 4/5
Draco's headspace: anxious / irrational -> frustrated
((words: ~1600))
------------------------------------
Knockturn Alley was dangerous. It was just a fact. It was where you went if you were looking for criminals, Dark wizards, and those better not seen with. Draco knew that. Even he, Malfoy or not, had almost been mugged there.
Theo had begged him not to wander around on his own. But he was stubborn. He was arrogant. He was in denial. Any of those things. He determined to walk the length of Knockturn Alley to Theo's house at the far end instead of flooing there, so that no one could gossip about where he went. He had told himself it would be fine. Why did he do that?
There was something wrong with his footsteps. There was another set there, in the echo, the sound of someone trying to match his steps so they wouldn't be noticed following him.
The shadows had already taken over the street, leaving just a hint of orange sky visible over the roofs, rapidly turning purple, and the darkness left him feeling exposed. He didn't have enough eyes to watch every corner and crevice in the twisting street. He had his face turned back, trying to find the stalker, so he nearly ran into a street peddler and had to scramble onward to get away.
The street was lousy with strangers, with eyes, with furtive glances and whispers and backs that turned. With blank faces that would affirm they saw nothing that wasn't their business.
There wasn't anybody there. He knew there wasn't anybody there. No one was following him. It was just people doing normal people things. All he had to do was walk calmly because he knew that there was nothing after him.
He knew that but he could still feel it, that phantom echo of footsteps, closing in… He knew it wasn't there but secretly it was. And while he walked, calmly, logically, rationally onward, it was getting closer.
He couldn't take it anymore. Apparating into a public street wasn't really safe, but he had to. He broke into a run, fishing out his wand as he did, and Disapparated between one step and the next.
—
Theo came out of the kitchen when he heard the door slam, shoving a last bit of steak into his mouth, looking up the hall to see if this was Draco pissed off or if something was wrong. Finding him pressed against the door, shaking, with his eyes closed answered that. "What's the matter?" he asked with his mouth full, coming up to hold his arms.
"There's no one there," Draco blurted out. "I know there isn't, I just— My fucking mind!"
All right, that was completely nonsensical. He calmly pulled Draco away from the door, rubbing his arms to try to soothe him, and guided him down the hall. "Maybe Godot made some tea. You can start at the beginning." He had found that, outside of there being obvious danger, he tended to get calm as Draco got frantic. He thought it helped him. Right now, he felt like an icicle, which was a testament to how worked up Draco was.
There was in fact tea sitting out by the sink, and he pulled Draco in front of it. On his way past, he shoved his steak and potatoes to the back of the table so Draco wouldn't have to smell it as much.
Draco didn't even seem to notice the tea; when he was put in front of it, he pulled out of Theo's hands and paced the width of the room, running his hand through his hair. "I am not afraid of the dark!"
So it sounded like he was, actually, afraid of the dark? "After what you've been through, Draco, no one would blame you if you were." He started making up Draco's tea himself, loading it up with sugar.
"I'm not," he denied with all the force of his personality, which did little to make it sound more true.
When he stalked back in his frenzy, Theo lifted the tea into his path and caught his arm to encourage him to take it.
Draco blinked down at it and accepted it without a word, his spiral interrupted.
"Tell me?" He rubbed Draco's arms again.
"I…" Theo rubbed his back, and he took a bit of tea, then a deep breath. "I thought I was being followed. I wasn't — I know I wasn't. I knew wasn't." He sat down at the table with his tea, dropping heavily into the chair, without his normal grace. "It was in my head and I knew it. I was thoroughly aware that it wasn't real."
"But…?" He wrapped his arm around Draco's chest and shoulders.
"But I still had to run away." He gripped the teacup tightly and stared into it. "I still had to panic and run because if I didn't I felt like I was going to die. Over nothing." He shoved the tea back on the table instead of drinking more.
He smoothed Draco's hair back and kissed the top of his head, formulating a response in his thoughts, trying to find a way to phrase all of the understanding Draco deserved without making him feel pitied.
"If I know there's nothing to be afraid of, why am I still so afraid?!" He shoved the table into the wall; it knocked over his tea, spilling it out over the worn wood and running up against Theo's supper plate. He grabbed his hair in both hands and let his head hang.
"I wish I could do something about it, or at least had an answer." Theo hugged him tightly, rubbing his arm and trying to get him to let himself go. The answer was that Draco had had so much that made him feel vulnerable, but Draco didn't want to hear it; he didn't want or need to hear a litany of his trials. He wanted to be able to ignore them, even though it was clear they were still affecting him.
"I don't want an answer, I just… don't want to be like this…"
He silently rubbed Draco's arm, and then pulled him to get him back to his feet. "Let's go sit outside."
"Why?"
"So you won't be afraid of it."
"I already know there's nothing to be afraid of, it's not going to accomplish anything."
He calmly rubbed his back. "Let's just do anyway."
Draco reluctantly let himself be led back down the hall and out the front door. Theo pulled it closed solidly behind them. They didn't go anywhere; Theo just pulled him gently down as he sat on the top of the front step, legs stretched out to the cobblestones.
Draco was as paranoid as ever about being seen with another man, so he just sat beside him, not touching, and Theo didn't push it. To be honest, they were sat right next to a skeevy rooming house; it was pretty conceivable that anyone who happened to see Draco holding hands with a bloke might get some blackmail-y ideas in his head — not because there was anything wrong with it, but just because Draco was hiding it.
It wasn't a bad night; cold, but clear. They could see a pair of wizards in spirited conversation wandering vaguely down the middle of the road in their direction, plus a solid group in Muggle clothes going the other direction and talking in low voices amongst themselves, hear loud voices from the pub down the corner, and further up toward Diagon Alley a kneazle yowled its complaints as it was tossed out of a shop. They didn't have much in the way of street lamps, but half of the windows up and down the alley were lit; Knockturn Alley came awake after dark.
"How do you feel?"
"Stupid." Draco felt around for a pebble or chip of stone and lobbed it clattering into the street.
"Well, you're not."
Draco didn't say anything. He found something else to throw, and sat with his chin almost on his knees, watching the people go by without being obvious about it. Eventually, he pulled out his wand and cast a Disillusionment charm on himself with no warning, so that he effectively vanished.
Theo sat up, watching the spot where he had been and trying to readjust his eyes in the darkness to pick out his shape instead of colour. "What's this about?"
Draco didn't answer, but he could hear him moving, and then he nudged Theo's leg and sat on the step below him, between his legs. He felt his arm picked up and pulled around Draco's shoulders. Draco settled back against his chest, holding his hand lightly on his shoulder.
He felt the top of Draco's head with his chin and kissed it. "Sure," he said, voice light. "This is inconspicuous."
"People are used to you being weird. But I could do you too."
"That's up to you." He rubbed Draco's arm. He couldn't see it, but Draco felt more relaxed now, he thought. "Do you feel better?"
He felt a nod against his shoulder. "I'd have been fine if I weren't alone," Draco said quietly. "It's not a solution, it's just another side of the problem."
"I don't know, it seems pretty reasonable to feel safer if you have someone with you."
"But it isn't about that. No offence, but I don't feel like you're going to 'protect me'."
"Okay, a little offence taken."
"All right, I know you would, but it isn't about that. It's that having someone there gives me a way to divert the crazy thoughts. Reality I can touch and push them away."
"Your thoughts aren't 'crazy'." He nuzzled into his hair.
"They are," he said quietly. "I know they are. I am. I can just control it when I'm with people. When I'm alone I can't stop it."
He knew nothing his instincts said to say, about not leaving him alone or about him not being mad, was the right answer. He didn't think there was a right answer. Instead of saying something empty and unsatisfying, he kissed Draco's head again and wrapped his other arm around him as well to hold him tightly.

Minecraft mob ideas
Concepts for more enemies for Minecraft.
Nimbus: They are huge monsters with tentacles that float in the empty sky around the abandoned castles present in the dimension of The End. They are aggressive and upon detecting an intruder in their territory, they slowly float towards him to attack him at close range with static electricity. This type of attack not only hurts, but also pushes quite a bit, which can result in an ugly fall into the void. . That is why it is advisable to keep your distance from these creatures. This attack does much more damage if its target is wearing metal armor or also if they have any metal object in their possession. Nimbus can appear in the normal world on very rare occasions whenever a thunderstorm occurs. From the
Nimbus you can obtain two unique and useful resources:
*Pale Tentacle: Its flesh can be consumed raw and gives the effect of static potion, which creates a small electrical shield around the affected person and anyone who gets close enough will be pushed back and damaged by an electrical attack. The pale tentacle can be used to create potions with the static effect and increase the duration. If the affected person is touched by water, they will be damaged by their own electricity.
*Jam: It is a dense purple substance and when consumed it gives the effect of levitation for a few seconds. It can also be used to create levitation potions and increase their duration. The jam can also be thrown directly at enemies, resulting in them beginning to levitate for a random amount of time.
Rot Eater: These are huge, disgusting beetles that feed on carrion. These appear at night in swamps, dark forests, deep caves, and abandoned ruins. Due to their chaotic diet, their thoraxes have become filled with mysterious toxic substances that they release in the form of a toxic cloud. And each of these insects has a unique poison that causes a random negative potion effect. They are aggressive monsters and attack directly, launching themselves with a great leap towards their target, to poison them with their toxic cloud. In addition, these clouds regenerate life in all the undead that breathe it. It is recommended to keep your distance and use a bow and arrow.
These insects offer a variety of different items when killed, occasionally dropping one of these: rotting meat, bone, spider eye, rope, carrot, poisoned potato, ghost membrane, and random seeds. And very rarely you can obtain its gas gland, which can be used as a grenade to poison a group of enemies for several minutes with a toxic cloud. It can also be used as an ingredient at a brewing stand to create three potions of toxic aura.
Toxic Aura Potion: It is a new potion that when consumed grants the toxic aura effect, which causes the affected person to emit an invisible aura that causes constant damage to all those who are nearby. The affected person will also be immune to the effects of the negative potion while the toxic aura effect is active.
Imp: they are small evil specters that come from the underworld, they belong to the undead. They do not attack directly, but rather have the ability to possess others to make them aggressive so that they attack their enemy. (including animals, villagers, golems, etc.) They are weak monsters, but difficult to deal with, as they keep their distance while using other beings to attack. If forced, then they will fight hand-to-hand, lunging directly at their target. They are immune to fire and commonly appear in the underworld soul field. And when a portal to the underworld is activated, imps can now appear in the normal world, but only very rarely at night and near lava pits.
Malevolent souls can be obtained from these demons, which can be used as an ingredient in a brewing station to create potions of hate.
Hate Potion: When consumed, it grants the hate effect that causes a massive increase in the ability to cause damage, as well as its speed, but the affected person will also be easier to harm by others. And if this potion is used on other entities, it will cause a change in their behavior, since now they will attack the entity closest to them without distinction.

Have you ever had those times when you just didn't know what to eat or cook, like you're drawing a mad blank on what you have a taste for, and then all of a sudden...you see something and it clicks! With my creative 🧠, I made smothered sweet potatoes, and the end results were perfection; it was so good, my picky eater 5 year old, helped me eat it.
Ingredients;
1 Lg Sweet potato, cleaned.
2 Tbs Minced garlic
1/2 purple onion, sliced.
Portobello mushrooms, sliced.
3 Kale leaves, roughly chopped.
Salt
Pepper
Chili powder
Onion powder
Garlic powder
3 Tbs Coconut aminosKale.
Vegan butter
1/3c Full fat, coconut milk
Vegan parmesan
Extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
Start by heating your cast iron skillet, then lower the heat to medium-low, and add a couple tablespoons of EVOO to your skillet. Now, clean, dry, and slice your sweet potato, long ways, down the middle; add your sliced sweet potato to the hot skillet, orange side down and cover for 55 minutes.
In a separate heated skillet on medium heat, add a few tablespoons of EVOO, and add your sliced onions. Cook onions until translucent, then add your garlic, sliced mushrooms, and chopped kale. Add 2 tableapoon of vegan butter. Slightly toss around, cover, turn heat to medium-low, and leave alone for 10-15 minutes.
Now, uncover your sweet potato, and flip it halfway through your time. Now, cook it skin side down the rest of the way. Add a pinch of pink salt to the potato and cover again. With your veggies, uncover,l and add your coconut aminos and seasonings, then stir them around until the aminos and seasonings are incorporated. Now, add your coconut milk and gently stir in.
Uncover your potatoes and double-check for tenderness. You can use your knife or toothpick; if it goes in easy and comes out clean, then they're tender and done. Plate your potatoes and add your creamy veggie sauce on top and sprinkle the vegan parm on top to your desire.
Grab you a plate, dig in, and enjoy!

Rules: Tag 10 people you want to get to know better
Tagged by @burningvelvet. Thank you for inviting me to the tag game! :)
Relationship Status: Currently single and I'm working on trying to build up my life so I can date.
Favorite Color: To wear is red though I also really like purple. I have more purple accessories but I wear most colors. I have many colorful outfits.
Song Stuck In My Head: Love by Lana Del Rey but there are others that can play on command in my head if I hear the title/the band.
ABBA, Meg & Dia, Emilie Autumn, Flyleaf, Avril Lavigne and Skillet are some artists that I have looping in my head often.
Last Song I Listened To: Cheater, Cheater by Joey and Rory (my spotify was on shuffle)
I like country probably more than people would expect but I am more of a pop/dance queen though. I have made Eurovision playlists in the past.
Three Favorite Foods: Pears, Potatoes (in many forms), and Greek salads or wraps. But I love most food in general. I'm not a super picky eater. I like to cook and make baked goods. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
Last Thing(s) I Googled: Pharmacy hours because I had to pick up more medication.
I also looked up an actor's age because my sister and I were trying to figure out how old he was (she was right or close- I thought he was younger- he's on one of my mom's shows). I'm usually the go to googler for my family, especially when they ask about actors or actresses in movies and tv shows we watch.
Links to my college's website, goodreads, storygraph, youtube and list challenges. I'm making more reading lists on list challenges (again).
Sorry it's nothing too interesting lately. My YouTube searches are probably more interesting but only marginally so. I'm not at school or working on any research projects currently so my searches are very basic right now.
Dream Trip: Japan. I'd like to go with close friends and/or family members though since it would be a big deal to go that far. I've been following a japan travel vlog by a woman who lives there. She shows all kinds of cafes and other fun places to go. You can watch/follow her vlog here: https://www.youtube.com/@its_time_to_travel
I'd love to be able to go to some of the places she's featured on her blog. It would be the trip of a lifetime! I'd be sure to try to learn some Japanese first too since I'm visiting their country and that seems polite to do. I know a few random words but can't read or write anything or even hold a conversation.
If I can't go to Japan, I'd love to go back to either Germany or England, but to the parts I didn't visit since there are tons of places in both those countries I've never been too. I really want to go to Haworth (The Bronte Sister's hometown), since I'm a Bronte fan and I've focused some of my grad studies on their works.
This is a tag post so I'm tagging:
@paperbackpropensity, @thatwritererinoriordan, @oh2e, @yeahwellshithappens, @autumnbell32, @writingf3, @windermerepoets13, @melusinah, @girlonedge and whoever else wants to do this! :)

Due to his past fending for himself, I surmise that he's not much of a picky eater and can go taste-blind to force it down, if necessary. This may stem from his worst days, where he couldn't even scrape enough for a meal and had to resort to either inedible food or outright spoiled one just to keep going until he could get something better, or still edible enough to stay down and incapacitate him as little as possible. Most of the time, due to his craftiness and hard work, he could eat, sure- plain meals, not enough to fill him, but it was something. When he was forced to steal, he did that without guilt, knowing that his survival was important- for himself, and nobody else.
( The rule of the free welfare meal is something that he put in place immediately after he became administrator; he knows how little energies and motivation a starved person can have- there's no way a work-based place like the fortress would function at all if there were energiless people on it- that's the pratical part. Humanly, It's a person's right to have, at least, one meal per day. )
It's only after becoming Duke that he began exploring his choices on the matter: he could choose. He could outright get anything that he wanted and sample it to see if he liked it or not, which for him was a priviledge that he earned for himself, and slowly turned into some sort of normalcy.
He found out that rare-cooked meat is his favorite, expecially if served with roasted, golden potatoes covered by a thick, meaty sauce. He likes chocolate- but only if paired with the taste of rhum, otherwise he'd opt for a much lighter chantilly cream that's more pleasing of a texture. That creamy food, like mashed potatoes, does something funky to his tongue, and he prefers to mix it with a sauce and to dip something in it, if he really has to have it. That he prefers ground meat above all, and that richly tasting teas are his favorite, thus why he stocks on black teas as much as possible.
Wrio being able to withstand Sigewinne's Strange Meat and finishing his plate without grimacing is something that might make her very happy.
He gets the care she puts behind making this meal and how much she cares about the inmates ( and him ), so that goes right down and stays down. He'll clean his plate, dousing everything with abundant tea, wipe his mouth and say thank you, walking away unscathed. While most people would be affected by the weird purple color, Wriothesley can't see it and the taste is just fine to him- if he had to describe it, it'd be a bit on the side of cooked liver, which he knows is a necessary iron boost. Not his favorite- but if it's for her, well...
It's not the worst he's had for sure.
#( OOC. ) ━ smoke break; oh. and a cup of fine tea too.#( HEADCANONS. ) ━ into the CERBERUS dossier.#important that his favorite is meat. v important#ask to tag ;;

Evens for Issy
Gladly cause my game just crashed.
2. What was their earliest memory?
Playing with her dads cat, Peter, on their living room rug together, but she doesn't remember what they were doing.
4. What were their first words?
Dada and then papa within the same week probably. Both her dads are convinced she meant him when she first said dada, but it remains a mystery.
6. When were they fully potty trained?
ur gonna make me research.. probably 2, a seemingly appropriate age I think
8. How often did they throw temper tantrums? What were they usually about?
She wouldn't have them that often because she was an only child and got what she wanted most of the time... and when she wouldn't she;d get upset and cry real toddler baby tears until it was resolved.
10. How easy (or hard) was it to take care of them?
She was an easy baby, but the terrible twos hit hard. She had lots of fits about little toddler things (not being allowed to feed ducks, not getting her way, getting the purple cup instead of the pink one). But her dads were patient and knew it wouldnt last forever, they tried to practice gentle parenting and would calmly explain to her why she couldnt do something, although that hardly stopped her from the fits. So she was fairly easy to take care of until she had fits.
12. Were they a fussy eater?
Yes, which disappointed her chef dad for a bit, but then he just used it as inspiration to make recipes with hidden vegetables and stuff. She liked any form of carb or potato though, but unfortunately toddler issy couldnt and wasnt allowed to live off tater tots 😔
14. What kinds of toys did they like?
She liked stuffed animals and dolls and dress up, especially when her dads played with her
16. What kind of discipline were they subjected to? Was it lenient or strict?
During her early years (3-grade school aged), she would get put in time outs for as many minutes as she was old, but her dads would explain to her why she was in time out and make her apologize if it was needed, they would try not to yell at her because they didnt want her to be afraid of them, they wanted to form a healthy relationship and sometimes that meant having a short time out for doing something bad. Later on in her life when she could understand punishments her dads would sometimes take her phone away, or have natural consequences mostly
18. What was their favorite childhood memory? Their least favorite?
Favourite is when she met her little brother and her first trip to Hawaii to see her mom, all in one good memory. Her least favourite memory was when her fish died when she was 6 because she fed it 15 times in one day, she'll be a great mom
20. What was their relationship like with their parents? How different was it than currently?
She loved her dads, she couldn't ask for better ones to raise her. Growing up she'd secretly try to think of which one she liked more, but it would always end up being a tie, which I think is how it's supposed to be. Recently this past year she and her dads have been having some tension, just because she's seen Duncan (her bio dad) so many times, and they don't approve of him as a person. But she still always goes to them for help, and cries to them about Duncan.
22. Did they have any pets growing up?
Yesss, a cat named Peter that is still alive out of spite, and a fish for like one day and then never again
24. Did they have any caretakers besides their parents?
Sometimes she stayed with her chef dads parents, and also Gemma her bio mama for a few days here and there.
26. What was their first major loss?
Her fish dying, that was the first in her childhood that she remembers, but her grandpa also died when she was 5 and she went to Hawaii for the funeral but it was more seen as a happy family get together to her at 5
28. Did your muse have any nicknames as a child? If so, what were they? Did they give nicknames to others?
Her dads called her bunny or bun, and her grandma actually started calling her Issy which was shortened to Is, but that was more an older grade school nickname.

Though there were several auditions, Golden Rosetto aims to keep a small line-up led by robot Leader MirA and ballroom dancer Center Shiha who's cool, doll-like expressions set the standard for the unit's image. Flashy ex-model Kotone Nishimura & the plain but tall Youko Yamagi round out the quartet.

Periwinkles
[periwinkle purple; cute concept K-pop Unit]

A group that's always learning, they aim to do their best in song and dance. Known for their signature plaids, preppy image, and numerous charming fashionistas like Leader & Center Haoniyao Eze. On the more girlish & innocent side of the unit's image are Rai Kobayashi, Nova Tahkizaad, & Myst Bardot. Sub-Leader Rune Sibera tries to make sure each girl has a chance to be center: tech-loving Alice centers Q&A, Ranya Kamau co-centers What is Love?, Alala Koteas co-centers Oh! and Kanna Tamemi co-centers Ah-Choo.

With their small formation and detailed marching-band inspired costumes, they blend the line between idol unit and show choir. The six members are broken into pairs of dance partners; though there's some consideration given to seniority, there is no leader. Jazz-loving robots Elloe & Megami often take Center position flanked on one side by the short duo Alessi Radiata & Lirio Alstromer and on the other side by resident perfectionists Haruna Inoue & Hae-Eun Seia.

Midoriiro Youthful Sound Off! (MYSO!)
[bright green; dance focused J-pop Unit]
A gathering place for girls who want to enjoy some idol activities while focusing on their dance. Known for their high energy performances and ability to thrive in large venues. Their lives are characterized by an upbeat sound, intense dance numbers, and formations that spread them out to fill up large stages. Leader Oriuim Livrig values the team's lively energy; her picks from the auditionees were based on that alone bringing less-skilled but athletic members like Kawaru Rokajo, Maria Iguchi, Rig Brandt, and Araminta Ebert. Balancing it out are trained dancers Yoshimi Negiwa and Micah Rhee. As she sees it, you can learn dance but you can't learn stamina and lung capacity.

Midnight Troupe
[midnight blue; dramatic elegant Theater Troupe]
An edgy unit with a theater theme and symphonic sound. They do their performances in dramatic costumes with a dramatic sound. Their concerts follow a plot, more like a musical, heavily utilizing story lines that are usually narrated by Rangi Vale in the role of Death, one of several resident weirdos. Their stories often have more villains or morally gray roles since Daisey Kurr, Hermes, and Flora Tahkizaad are known to argue over them. In their current play, Aisling plays the determined protagonist, Pancha Espinosa her unfortunate prince, and S'hahar Silverplume the double-crossing dragon; the other roles are the Evil Queen (Daisey), her daughter (Flora), and the Evil Witch (Hermes).
They network with other units to bring their stage-plays to life with more performers: Black Curtain is their backing band and members of MY COLOR*GLITTERING STORIES (which Pancha mentors) are brought in as ensemble members.

Miracle! Magical! Sunshine Troupe
[sunglow orange; magical kids Theater Troupe]
A fun unit with a Magical Girl & Tokusatsu theme. They put on theatrical lives full of silly songs that follow a story. Their sound and image pretty kiddie, but they appeal to anyone with joy in their heart & a love for the imaginative. Known for their quirky members like Kugumi Isotake, who doesn't want to be here, shadow-Leader Mana Kaiuwaihui's lack of solos (and any voice lines??), story-writer Ume Kuromori who can never remember her lines, tokusatsu-loving Kit Smith who approaches her roles with a little too much enthusiasm, and local clown Tamon Little who's accidentally clocked Kugumi at least three time in dance practice, and twice on stage .
Be Genki (Naseba Naru!) • Berryz Koubou
Nippon Egao Hyakkei • Momoiro Clover Z
Uh-ee • Crayon Pop
Pinkies
[baby pink; delicate girly J-pop Unit]
A childish unit with a gentle and whimsical feel to it. They specialize in cute, country, and retro songs with a soft and delicate feel. Their costumes are usually heavy in guazey fabrics, bright pastels, and pom-poms to represent their fluffy and sweet image. They follow a seniority system making Cassiel Sear their leader; she prioritizes friendship between members. The members are known for their gentle personalities (esp. Rim Baris), refined manners (esp. Heather Aveneill), soft voices (esp. Snow Lîm), and otherwise angelic or childish images (esp. Miyuki Ogawa). They're considered a little-sister unit of Periwinkles with whom they do joint practices.
Ran Ra Run ~Crazy About You~ • Country Girls
Nijiiro Letters • Cleasky
Please Miniskirt PostWoman! • S/Mileage
Black Curtain
[true black; serious Rock Band]
An edgy rock band that sets their feelings to music. They often disagree but they're on the same page when it comes to the quality of their sound. Their heavy sound and edgy image make them perfect to double as Midnight Troupe's backing band. Though they're not all as loud about it, each one is just as much a perfectionist as the other; due to a united dislike of authority there is no leader for better or worse. Pop-Punk lover Piper Sukkal'kira'na plays backing bass and provides the bulk of their vocals; song-writer & practiced guitarist Angel Rodriguez plays lead guitar and provides additional vocals; agressive rebel Rakko Kinaki works hard to impress as lead-bass; trained pianist & peace keeper Sagiso Snøherrsen provides keyboard and softer backing vocals; and the somewhat insane Clare Riis enjoyes tearing it up on the drums & laughing when the others argue.
Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer • One Ok Rock
Hey Kid, Close you eyes • AKMU
Kyouran Hey Kids • The Oral Cigarettes
Ivy & Edelweiss
[fern green; whimsical Acoustic Band]
A laid-back unit with an "open to anyone" policy and a "my pace" attitude. They focus on simple acoustic songs using whatever instrument looks fun in the moment. Known for their ability to invoke emotions especially joy, longing, and nostalgia. They like to invoke the image of a chill garden party with airy and gentle vibes. Leader Parker Corbell, prev. of Golden Rosetto, formed Ivy & Edelweiss to accomodate new members especially kids who didn't see themselves as musicians. With her on acoustic guitar and co-leader Clancy Delahaye's robust knowledge of imporvising rhythem on the open sea, they provide the instrumental groundwork that allows members Mara ki'Zemeur, Zofia by S.H., and Victor Gilani to learn at their own pace. The only ironclad rule is that everyone has take a turn singing, even if their too shy to do so normally. Like Pinkies, Ivy & Edelweiss fosters a sense of community among the members.

Glittering Stories ٭ My Color
[member color or white; ethereal lyrical Dance Choir]
A soothing unit with a choir-like sound and simple dances. They focus on ballads and constellation themes. Known for their elegant ballet like dance moves (lyrical dance) and delicate harmonies. Each member is described as an individual constellation with an emphasis on showcasing their individual skills, storylines, and image colors. Leader Almondine Aeyasumear, prev. of Midnight Troupe, established the unit to accomodate new members with more elegant aesthetics and a desire to put on beautiful performances; she's represented by Corona Borealis, the Northern Crown. Lavi Ummnikkal (Leo, the lion) and Tien Janvier (Pyxis, the compass) joined to hone their talents; Center Eulalia Oudinet (Cygnus, the swan) embodies the unit's elegant aesthetic with her trained dance moves; and Aloque (Columba, the dove) and Ella Tsai (Argo Navis, the ship) bring their skills as a travelling singers and a ballroom dancer respectively. Pancha of Mightnight Troupe uses his years of choir training to help the group practice.

Oh wait, but I need to finish getting Alice Oseman's new UK covers first, but my mum said no more books for months and months, but that's not fair, I'm mad at her, wait but it's mother's day I can't, I have to bring her breakfast in bed, ooo we have smoked salmon, I love smoked salmon, and we have garlic and herb cream cheese, I'm going to have that and smoked salmon on toast, but not regular salmon because that's gross, I'm such a pick eater, I have sensory processing disorder, I hate beans and the smell of jacket potatoes, I hate apples with the skin on, oh wait, apples, wasn't i supposed to visualise one, let me try...
(This process will now repeat until someone pulls me out of it)
i have neither a good imagination nor aphantasia, but a secret third thing

Unleash the Nutritional Wonders of Purple Cauliflower
Purple cauliflower, with its vibrant hue and nutritional punch, has become a popular addition to the produce aisle. This article explores the origins, nutritional benefits, culinary uses, and unique characteristics of this colorful cruciferous vegetable.
Purple Cauliflower: A Colorful Nutrition Powerhouse
Oh, purple cauliflower, you beautiful and mysterious veggie. Who would have thought that something so vibrant could also be so delicious and nutritious? As a self-proclaimed food adventurer, I couldn't resist diving into the world of purple cauliflower and exploring its many benefits. Prepare to have your taste buds tantalized and your health game elevated!
Why Purple Cauliflower?
Let's start with the obvious question: why go for the purple variety when the regular white cauliflower has been holding it down for years? Well, my friend, sometimes it's good to shake things up and add a little color to your plate. Plus, purple cauliflower is not just a pretty face; it packs a serious nutritional punch.
One of the main advantages of purple cauliflower is its high anthocyanin content. Anthocyanins are the pigments responsible for the vibrant purple hue, and they also happen to be powerful antioxidants. These little warriors help fight off those pesky free radicals and may even have anti-inflammatory properties. Talk about a double win!
Cooking with Confidence
Now that we've established the superiority of purple cauliflower, let's talk about how to wield this colorful nutrition powerhouse in the kitchen. I don't know about you, but I like to keep things simple, so here are a few easy and tasty ways to incorporate purple cauliflower into your meals:
Roast it: Toss florets with olive oil, sprinkle some salt and pepper, and roast them in the oven until they're crisp and golden. The heat will intensify the purple color, making it a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds.
Mashed magic: Boil the cauliflower until tender, then mash it up with butter, garlic, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Not only will you have a vibrant purple mash, but you'll also have a side dish that would make any regular mashed potato jealous.
Stir-fry sensation: Chop up the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces, throw it into a hot pan with some colorful veggies, and sauté it until it's tender-crisp. Add your favorite sauce or spices, and voila! A purple stir-fry that will make your dinner guests go wild.
Final Thoughts
As with any food trend, it's important to remember that variety is key. While purple cauliflower is undoubtedly a nutrition powerhouse, it's always best to mix it up and enjoy a rainbow of fruits and vegetables. But hey, don't let that stop you from indulging in the beauty and benefits of purple cauliflower every once in a while.
So, my fellow food enthusiasts, let's embrace the purple cauliflower revolution and let its vibrant presence grace our plates. Whether you're a nutrition nerd or simply an adventurous eater, this colorful veggie is sure to bring joy and health to your culinary escapades. Happy cooking!

notes of a restless girl.
HelloFresh always wants to know my dinner plans...
I just finished my purple juice... It’s actually my greens, but it turns purple when I put whole blueberries in it. So refreshing and good for you. So tonight, I think I’ll make a chicken bowl, with sweet potatoes, green beans, cauliflower rice, ground chicken and season it, with baby spinach, a little bit of balsamic glaze. I’ve been eating extra healthy, plus it makes me feel so much better. I’m a Trader Joe’s Shopper and Sprouts, but I’m also a Walmart Shopper.
A writing I did back in 2018... (I want to get this writing back, I miss it)
I’ve been lost in a carte de visite…
I used to be on the edge of hip, city of randomness and fragments of intimate notes detailed my leather-bound journal. How enchanting all the fine flowers of culture, days of youth, and evenings were delicious, such a flawless triumph of my art.
Now my days turn into nights and the nights back into days and I feel as if I’m trapped, ground hog day on repeat.
I’ve never been an emotional eater, but I’ve always been an emotional shopper. I buy things I really don’t need, and I end up giving half of the things away. How many 12 cup muffin pans do you need from Zulily? I don’t even eat gluten. The thing is… I bury a lot of things under the serenity of my thoughts, only to become rainstorms when the sun is out. On those rainy days my hair often always resembles early Jon Bon Jovi and with that, I feel like a rocker again. I love to read, I paint, and I walk around in music stores that carry old vinyl’s to feel the nostalgia of a long ago. I sip on cold coffee in my bed on lazy Sundays, watch ridiculous old movies from the 1940’s, and I recite Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, “I’m like cat here, a no-name slob. We belong to nobody, and nobody belongs to us. We don’t even belong to each other,” then I make my way to an old bookstore and find out at the end of the night I owe the cashier $200.00 for more books to read.
This coming up February two years ago back, I literally overflowed my feng shui. Too many calculations and visuals to recall, and too much Zen is a lot of Zen; Kombucha on the daily, and anything that consisted of matcha. My chakras were on fire. So the next day I took a painting class, legally calling myself an artist and insisted on pursuing my Picassoistic state further. You know, diving into my inner artistic ability of what I called my very own painting talent, blobs. It’s really hard to paint a tree, and with that it only lasted about six months.
One day this scenario took a gigantic tug in the night, a seedy little bar where poets speak. She had the voice of Wynona Ryder, that mystic, seductive lull, the kind she eluded in the movie, “Heathers,” with the softness of trouble; though she never spoke of slushies, just about the falling down trees from a thunderstorm that inhibited the area. “How sad, how sad, no one will… will know that tree, NO ONE,” as she raised her voice in turmoil hardness, kind of startling the audience that sat before her in quiet trance, anticipating her next move. At the end of her session, she said softly, “fucking sad, the beauty of every living creature and thing deserves someone to know who they are,” and with that she fell to the floor, in sweet rectitude. Very intriguing, I thought.
So I started to study the science of intrigue; it was intriguing to say the least. But what is funny is how when we, (just me) I guess is sad, I just like to submerge myself even deeper and deeper into the abyss of sadness. LET’S GET SADDER… sad, SADDER, and SADDEST, until I’m the saddest of them all, and there I go into hibernation of watching the old 1940 movies. I find myself knee deep into French films I can’t even pronounce, let alone understand, hash tag Netflix. I submerge myself into French music that will make me cry, and I have found, we put all our time and energy into the wrong people, only to find out later that we’ve lost the other people that meant more to us.
But who knew that liberation was about to knock down my door. Walking around your house naked drinking a glass of wine, while listening to Paolo Nutini songs, and making muffins for no one in particular but to say, you make muffins. I forgot I had this obsession with Paolo Nutini’s songs and all the jazz I could get my hands on. Jazz, jazz and more jazz… Nine Simone, Billie Holiday, and Ella Fitzgerald. Mmmm, just to name some of the best. Chet Baker, my funny valentine.
I have found that I often need certain poets in my life. I exist sometimes only on a diet of F. Scott Fitzgerald; the letters he wrote to Zelda, drinking too much Emily Dickinsons words, and sprinkling it with a dash of Poe. I love when my journal weeps, “I am art…I am to be appreciated, loved and adored. I deserve to be remembered, I deserve to be someone’s muse” … and then, I go to some seedy bar and work my way around a stage flinging words in momentous harmony upon all my thoughts within my breath, my expressions in my metaphors, the feelings to my force, the arrangements in my syntax, captivating like a shadow by night. Reading and writing my own poetry.
I needed my very own muse.
Of him, it was all a haunting. I collected my scattered passion from memories plucked from his musings. Quick and lionized, he stole my heart, and I knew nothing of how to get it back. It was when the newborn moon’s whispered, I saw it evolve into cobwebs. It no longer fit, and with thoughtful consideration I just couldn’t keep watering dead roots. I realized he had become my ghost.
He doesn’t know this, I could still feel as if he never mattered. Nonchalant beats of broken and I was on the edge of every August moon. I was easily persuaded by his love, delving into moments of fire bathing and my desire of wanting nothing else.
In these temples of our lost art, there was a simple sign of no tomorrow and it was as if we knew it. The night sky is deep enough to get lost in, just like life, just like him and he always made me feel like velvet.
