Season 1 : Livia and Matt were friends since college, though they both have a secret from one another. When the sunsets and the Devil roams Hell’s Kitchen, there’s one person who seems to get in the way, Exodus.

Season 2 : With the Fisk situation behind her, Exodus tries to move forward without Daredevil. But as fate would have it, that shift changes Y/N’s relationship with Matt. The two start to wonder if maybe those lives are more interconnected than they first believed.

Season 2b (Defenders) : Time heals all wounds, until they’re reopened. Livia and Matt try to leave Exodus and the Devil behind, but when an old face returns with a new vendetta, those personas are revived. Guilt, revenge, blood, death. All prices that the Kitchen’s vigilante duo has to pay, and fate is a cruel mistress who comes to collect.

Season 3 : Round and round she goes. Just when she feels her life is on track and her emotions can occur without her own interference, her old enemy of Wilson Fisk begins to play games. Forced to choose between new friends and old, play the part or stand alone, life or death, things become as dangerous as they’ve ever been.

Season 1: With daredevil dead, exodus returns from Quantico unsure of who she should be. fighting nightmares and deja vu, small sparks threaten to revive something saved for matt murdock before a shocking betrayal rattles New York’s two most dangerous vigilantes.

Season 2 : Livia finds herself caught amidst another two sided war. With the reemergence of Billy Russo and a new brutal threat, she takes up her vigilante mantel yet again.

thinking about how of course viktor’s true aim in life was always to “make discoveries” that would “make the world a better place,” but, as season 1 went on, and as he panicked about his legacy, he so very humanly just did not want to die.

and yet the moment he’s made peace with his death, the moment he bears the crushing guilt of what his efforts caused, it all goes to hell.

“he’s dooming his narrative!!!” well when the alternative at the time was DEATH, he probably felt pretty doomed then, too!

I'm so sorry I cannot fucking get over the fact that Sevika ended up on the council, and that we're supposed to see that as a good ending for her. Yeah we never really resolved the class inequality plotline, and Zaun and Piltover are both still controlled by a council of oligarchs with unchecked power, but hey! One of the eight councilors (who we're shown usually operate by majority vote) is from Zaun! Equality!

To be perfectly honest I can't see why Sevika would even agree to that. At the very minimum they could have given us a scene of her accepting the position so we'd know her reasoning, because it feels so transparently hollow and performative and I can't imagine she wouldn't see right through it.

Honestly what a milquetoast and centrist conclusion to both Sevika's arc and the Zaunite Independence plotline that was so heavily built up in the rest of the show.

And the thing is, you know this wasn't the original vision. You just know that the writers at Fortiche had a different ending in mind, one where the Zaunite revolution either succeeded in separating from Piltover or was crushed in the attempt - either could have worked if they'd committed to it. Maybe we end with the two in all-out war and the conclusion uncertain, that could have worked too. Then some exec, either at Riot or Netflix, got cold feet at the idea that Arcane would actually be following through on its Eat The Rich messaging instead of just using it for the aesthetics, and made them change it to something less inflammatory.

And instead we got the most trite and played out version of "people with different backgrounds and beliefs can unite to fight against a common evil! Isn't that sweet? Don't worry about the corrupt and overfunded military police force they're nice now I promise."

The way Izzy presents the legs to the crew makes me really think about what happened each time he lost a toe and the fact that the crew was aware of it. How much he must have felt their gazes, their attention, a spectacle made of him all because he didn’t do his job right. It is not enough to take the unicorn’s legs, they must be made an example of.
