#obviously it's always funny to do the whole 'what do u have there Damian?' 'a knife!' 'nO' thing#and like make him a horrendous and silly evil gremlin who can and will pull a sword out in the middle of a parking lot to fight#but listen#he doesn't like the assassin background that much and once he learns about like The Normal World he's honestly in anguish about it#that's canon! that's the truth! (right?) (the whole thing with Goliath?? I'm not making it up right???)#i think he's just the kind of guy who loves his swords because they're what he knows and they're a strong connection to his family#but I think it's nice if he spends his time on field telling others what to do because everyone else learned to fight the OTHER way#(by defending and subduing opponents rather than maiming and killing)#so he prefers to take on a tactician general role despite being perfectly capable as a fighter because he knows what everyone else needs#to do to succeed in fights - especially when things are a bit of a mess - but is afraid to be too rough or scary or violent or Demon Son-is#(the things that make him feel like he doesn't belong in a happy civilian world - WHICH IS WHAT HE WANTS IN MY HUMBLE OPINION.)#in this essay I will explain why this allows for him to show awe and love for each of his siblings' fight styles by utilising all of them#and I just think Dami Babs and Tim could really work together as a detective/tactician comms team (with varying distances from the field)#because I think that'd be so fun: Tim is solving (mid-range) Babs is watching/providing supports (far) and Damian is commanding (close)#because the others are like The Bruisers (in their non-lethal way) who trust themselves to only hurt as much as is needed and are good at i#PLUS babs is SO stretched thin and literally the backbone of the bats so I just want a future where some of the kids become HER robins yk#anyway back to the point of the post:#it's kind of alluded to in 2017 supersons; EVERYONE in it comments on how Robin is JUST doing flips and shouting orders#and jon is like The Muscle and the one Doing Stuff - but Jon IS following orders 85% of the time and it works out well for them because#that dynamic of 'I'm not sure I can do it right by myself and I trust you to be my partner so we can do it right together' really#is my favourite like.. they're both filling these ideas of who they're meant to be and they just :( they just seek their own path together#oh no I lost the point again immediately and it became another WHY DO THEY SEPARATE THEM rant#I just think it's really fun to think of Damian as 'the most well trained fighter but ALSO the most likely to step back from a fight'#like yeah when we add in my thoughts on pit rage it adds some angst but that doesn't matter here in THIS post#have I even talked about my hc on pit rage/madness? Kusakabe, dear, you're too beautiful to be saying that kind of stuff
#jjk spoilers#All the prettiest characters were brought back from apparent death#Nobara was okay and it's true that when I read the lawyer's and Kusakabe's fights against Sukuna I thought it was being kept vague#but to pull a Nobara with all of them... idk#No one stays dead here except for the people who actually care for the kids and by that I mean 'including Yuuji'#kinda lowkey bitter about it#Don't get me wrong I like the characters and also they're super pretty but idk It makes death feel cheap? And the high stakes kinda fake?#Choso Gojo and Nanami actual only characters who died apparently#Well. Poor Itadori#And Kusukabe goes and runs his mouth that way in front of the kid. He is not entirely wrong but also he very much is#And yes he also says 'don't worry it's not for you to feel guilty over anything you're just kids' but also he did very much say that thing#about it all being Gojo's fault for not killing Itadori. In front of Itadori who feels guilty for that precisely#and in front of Megumi who asked Gojo to spare him and also went through the experience of Sukuna using his body as well#So Kusukabe's reassurance about them just being kids and not to feel guilty falls a bit empty#It does feel in character but man it truly makes one appreciate the way Gojo and Nanami dealt with the kids a lot more haha#Ui Ui seems like a dear#Anyway... this chapter felt a bit lame for the most part for me? I like the idea of the characters discussing the could have/would have#and feeling guilt and helplessness over their choices but the way it was done felt a bit lame and without any real emotional punch#It felt more like an explanation to the reader in an awkward way. And there's a lot of empty chat about guilt and grief#without any of the characters really giving off a grieving air about everything and everyone they've lost#And this is precisely what I felt was going to happen with this manga's writing haha#I truly don't understand this kind of writing choices. Contrary to some other shonen writers this author did seem to have the potential#to write this kind of thing well besides the worldbuilding and powers and fight stuff. It's truly a pity. It so breaks my heart#And still this is considered one of the good shonens. Well. WELL haha#I do think shonen can be good! I just think it falls almost always even when there's potential into bery shallow writing#I don't know. Maybe I should read that one Alchemist manga#I've been repeatedly told that one's good and it does seem like it doesn't do... this. But I find the art style so not to my linking#I wish I had never gotten into JJK for real for real. I absolutely adore it. I always end up frustrated. It could be so good. Genuinely good#And yet it's just okay in a sort of forgettable way. What a pity#Everything good ever is present but it never dares do anything to fully explore what it sets. It just does the typical shonen stuff

oh and you know what? i love how shadow 2005 improves on heroes' dna. the concept of Having to play through the same game several times to truly finish it is not great and it's precisely why i haven't ever finished either game fully, but whereas heroes has you play through the same... 14?? stages in the same order with the only variance being the length and difficulty of each level depending on your chose campaign, shadow 2005 cuts that number of stages in half effectively and gives you agency to choose most of the stages you'll play in that run. westopolis is a fine opening and while it sucks that you'll play through it 10 times any stage after that is entirely up to you and what missions you're ready to tackle in this specific playthrough. you can get through a route in probably an hour or so and can simply finish one, take as long of a break as you need to, and then pick things up again from the start without having to remember what the hell you were doing last time and how the game works again. heroes exhausts you with its length and samey-ness, shadow 2005 mitigates it by giving you options and shorter routes. it's a good solution to a problem that admittedly shouldn't really exist in the first place but i appreciate it all the same
#soda offers you a can#06 also had the risk of pulling heroes bc everyone plays the same stages#but it changes up the order in which you play through them and gives you wildly different gameplay styles to spice things up further#i respect heroes for its sincerity and all but it would've benefited from some level variety or just shorter campaigns overall

If a UT/DR musical will ever be created the characters should have back up dancers/chorus that look like themselves and rapperesent a part of themselves.
#i have the mental image that Papyrus and his 5 backup dancers improvise that one Misha's scene with the shirt open and someone holding it#and the other holding a fan but instead of the shirt is the cape#Sans's back ups dancers just annoy everyone and break the fourth wall#Flowey's back up dancers are creepy Muppets/Puppets instead of people with make up#Alphys just pulls a Let it out from tgtlm/shine a light reprise and her back up dancers just screams at her for self hate#MTT's back up dancers are just posing and fighting for the spotlight or something#the theatre has also the choice of what to do in small things#Chara is the narrator but Uncle Fester style where they have their own plot line/not present in the story except in the finale where they#face asriel#undertale#ghostie talks a lot#musical ideas

Most specifically thinking about magnets again - there’s the obvious of putting it in their hands so they can hold hands!
Of course if they’re on the same side i.e. right hand gets south polarity, left gets north, they’d only be able to hold opposite hands, so no handshakes (but I think that’s fine personally haha)
But on top of hands they could also have magnets behind their mouth! Kiss-magnets! My only real concern is the fabric pulling and developing kiss-wrinkles from being pressed against each other haha

i actually love the comeback of bucket hats and mom jeans and big glasses and fanny packs and clunky shoes personally. i was born to dress like a dorky tourist from the 90s
#ever since middle school i have tried to follow trends and felt fundamentally like i qas doing it wrong and it didn't work when i did it#i couldn't pull it off it was forced and dumb even when i dressed and did my hair exactly like everyone else#so i gave up on being trendy bc it was never fun and didn't work#but i was so excited when mom jeans came back bc they're actually comfy then i saw cool fashionable people w fanny packs and i was like :0#no way!!#then i found a cute floral bucket hat at goodwill and i was like hm why not and it actually rocks ngl#i finally got a new pair of glasses bc of headaches and i went ahead and got some big af 90s looking ones and they actually look good on me?#i know im lowkey dressing like a high schooler now but im finally having fun with my clothes and enjoying the way i look#also i got a haircut and its a bit retro and fun and finally my hair isnt in my face bc i tried bangs and i actually look nice for once#also the great thing abt the dorky 90s tourist style is its really practical and easy#like im comfortable and i have storage and my hair looks good no matter what with zero maintenance#i still dont wear makeup ever tho lol#but im glad there's finally a way to be fun and fashionable for lazy dorky people lol#i know some people complain abt the bucket hats and fanny packs and stuff but idc im having fun finally#this has been a shitpost

i will admit i did watch that video of that guy butchering that alligator and every time he made a comment about how fatty the tail was i was like. taking notes.
#the way the tail looked when he broke it down was FASCINATING to me. the way the muscles were grouped.#idk what 🐟s looks like in there i dont think theres a realistic analogue for it but i do think its about 70% muscle tissue?#maybe more? or less when theyre eating consistently#i think they mostly stay really scrawny no matter how much they eat but when they eat better their 🐟 traits get more exaggerated.#takes a lot of energy to make new stuff#so i think it would accelerate a lot when they first leave oz and everyone is eating a Lot just because they can.#their fins would probably get bigger too#and i do think itd slow down again as they got used to consistently having enough to eat but i do think theyre just gonna keep getting More#for the rest of their life. i think at some point theyre gonna start getting 'fins' like. webbing style between their fingers and#maybe between their arms and chest. and i think their back fin is one of the main things that gets noticably a lot bigger really fast#have i mentioned before that i think give them another 20ish years and itll be so cumbersome to be on land that theyre just gonna have#to retire basically#i think about them settling on a river or lake or coast somewhere and just getting to be mermaid boyfriend#i do think theyd still drag themself up onto land especially to hang out with hog but they wouldnt go very far#theyre kind of a lazy shit anyways i think theyd be pretty content to do little tasks around the house and take sunnaps#i like imagining like a little house right on the water just stilts. so they can just pull themself right up without having to walk far#because i imagine itd be a total pain. heavy tail thats probably longer than they are tall...#but do like thinking abt them taking naps on a little dock while hog fishes. sighs.

SURPRISE!!!! 💖#I wanted to save this post for this Thursday at the earliest seeing that I've been posting a lot about this koopa lately#But after some thought I decided to just post it today because I REALLY want my sister Stephanie to see this#I am so proud of this piece that I just couldn't WAIT to show it to everyone!!#I actually had a draft of this drawing going around the time I first showed my koopsona off here#But I ended up finishing it in almost one sitting and a half because... truth be told...#It is RIDICULOUSLY fun to draw in Paper Mario's artstyle and I've yet again mastered a style on my first attempt XD#I was so certain that the shading style of the Paper Mario series (And the Mario franchise in general) would be a nightmare#But after realizing the trick used to pull it off I was able to finish this quite quickly!#I also heavily referenced TTYD's Koopa Troopa sprite sheet over on Spriter's Resource to draw this#Seeing as that game's sprites are assembled from pieces so there were plenty of assets to go off of#I wanted this to initially look more like that game's key art without the white outline and paper texture...#... but honestly I think it looks a whole lot more perfect leaning in toward how modern Paper Mario's style looks!#You can consider this the definitive reference for my koopsona because I doubt I can top this#... well... that is until I inevitably draw her again#To think a few days ago I couldn't draw Koopas and now I've completely MASTERED it with this piece!!!

Okay but it would be cool if that war Fukuchi received warning about actually happened. Like he received a warning and was scheming this whole mess of a situation to stop it but what if that exact plan of his is precisely what leads to the conflict? What if the warning was sent as a desperate hope that something would change, that he'd make a better plan... but no. It was always going to happen. There was no escape. Ever.
#like something is obviously about to go very wrong for the agency in that two hour time skip#i personally think that fukuchi underestimated fyodor who will fuck them up even before he returns jesus style#or maybe he did die a stupid way BUT sigma has to live knowing everything he knew so sigma gets corrupted and tortured by fyodor#i'd personally enjoy it so much if he wakes up from his little nap but isn't all i've got to warn the agency! vibe#but is absolutely terrified and maybe even hallucinating fyodor and he fucks up#i would have also personally enjoyed it more if chuuya was actually a vampire and dazai had been winging the entire plan going with the flow#but i rarely get what i want so... i think my plans for a doomed narrative are also just wishful thinking i doubt asagiri would pull it off#but there is still time for fukuzawa to die!!#honestly the stakes this entire arc were enourmous that literally everyone surviving feels like just bad writing#and fukuzawa's death would fit amazing in its conclusion but i also do like this whole tortured by fukuchi's wish thing#anyways there have been too many plot holes in that episode that it can't possibly be the actual end of the arc it was too easy#anyways teruko is the biggest star of the episode.#bsd
