Diana said she selected the massive blue sapphire and diamond engagement ring because it was the biggest ring on the tray. Based on photographs and film, Diana quickly discovered that the BIGGEST rock is also the most impractical.

My favorite gift from Wills to Kate is her (allegedly) "custom" silver-coloured stainless steel Cartier Ballon Bleu watch which pairs perfectly with Kate's sapphire and diamond engagement ring. Kate was known for grocery shopping in Angelsy wearing only her gold wedding band.

Now we see that Will's has upgraded his bride's finger candy to include a more practical yet beautiful, sapphire & diamond eternity band. Kate's watch perfectly complements William's omega seamaster watch which allegedly could have been a gift from his mother, Princess Dianna. As Catherine said: "[Wills] is a true romantic, there's a real romantic in there."💗

A very minor, minor thing but it’s extremely funny to me in modern lit when we’re supposed to feel sorry for the celebrities/kids of presidents/the kids of the rich/royals/literal emperors because they get bullied for being gay or bi or dykes or whatever. It’s like….you’re literally among the most powerful people on Earth, stop feeing sorry for yourself. Especially when the “people being mean to me” thing is solely online.

4 MAY 2023 || The Dog & Duck Pub, Soho

The Prince and Princess of Wales walked from the distance from Tottenham Court Road to the Dog & Duck pub in Soho.

They visited the Dog & Duck Pub to hear how it's preparing for the coronation weekend from members of staff and to meet representatives from other hospitality and recreation businesses in the area.

William and Catherine talked to managers from local businesses expecting a boom in trade this weekend with extended opening hours for pubs and bars, music and other events. Among them were representatives from nearby Ronnie Scott's jazz club, the Prince Edward Theatre, Bar Italia, and the Randall and Aubin restaurant.

They were then accompanied by pub managers Chris Watts and Maria Sojkova behind the bar, where William poured a 'perfect pint' as per Bernie Kidson, the shift supervisor. This was the first pint of Kingmaker, a pale ale brewed to celebrate the coronation

Following their visit they spent time meeting well-wishers and posing for selfies with them, many of whom were foreign tourists who are in London for the Coronation.
