This is my tarantula, Unicron, and her tiny roommate, Galvatron! Some backstory: A few months ago, when I was feeding my OBT tarantula, Unicron (Pterinochilus murinus), I saw this random, tiny-ass little spider chillin' at the very top of the enclosure. No idea how it got in there, but it’d made itself quite at home beneath the lip of the hinges/top, well out of range of being squished when opening the lid. I attempted to safely catch him up, but he was in an awkward spot, and having the lid of an OBT enclosure wide open for any length of time makes me sweat. If you know anything about OBTs (short for 'Orange Bitey Thing'), you'll understand why that might be. So, I figured I’d safely catch him another day when I was able to get at him! In the meantime, I dropped in a few crickets for Unicron, and then, to apologize for bothering him, I tangled the smallest cricket I had in Mystery Spider’s webbing at the top of the enclosure. After a few minutes, Mystey Spider bolted for the cricket and had himself a mighty feast. Y'all. I love this tiny little bitch more than I can say. I watched him for a bit, and I can safely say that I would die for him. I own forty spiders, (thirty-nine tarantulas, and now one small-ass Mystery Spider), and he's one of my favorites. It’s been a few months since I discovered him, and I'm happy to report that he’s thriving! I decided to name him Galvatron, to fit the Transformers theme of his comparatively giant enclosure-mate, Unicron. (If you're a Transformers: The Movie fan, you'll understand). I feed him weekly, and have been ordering a few tiny crickets specifically for him! When I eventually redo Unicron’s enclosure, I’ll be rehousing Galvatron into an enclosure of his own, but this little asshole will be remaining with me. Unicron has taken absolutely no interest in him whatsoever. She’s a pretty shy OBT and rarely comes out of her burrow/webbing tunnels unless to get a drink. After some research, I’ve tentatively identified him as a Triangulate Cobweb Spider (Steatoda triangulosa), although I’m not 100% on that. If anyone can verify that, let me know! He’s tiny; roughly the size of a small pea. So, an unintentional communal enclosure, but I love him, and I love her, and I love them both.

Introducing my Tarantulas, Part Four and Five:
Here are my babies, Kurama and Number Six Curly Fry With A Small Diet Coke. Curly Fry for short. I'm not sure of either of their sexes as they are too itty bitty but I decided that Kurama is a She and Curly Fry a He.
Tumblr media
Kurama is an Pterinochilus murinus, or Orange Baboon. She is from Africa, making her an Old World tarantula. OWTs do not have urticating hairs as a defense mechanism, so they are incredibly more aggressive than New Worlds like Matilda, Sauron, Tomato Soup, and Curly Fry.
When an adult she will look like this:
Tumblr media
Curly Fry is a Mexican Red Rump (Tliltocatl vagans). As adults they have gorgeous black and red hairs, but right now he is very naked and it's hilarious.

Note
SG Tarantulas should be blue or yellow/orange. Some possibilities;
Cyriopagopys lividus
Chilobrachys sp. (i don't know what sp stands for)
Lampropelma violaceopes
Monocentropus balfouri
Avicularia geroldi
Poecilotheria metallica
Pterinopelma sazimai
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
Haplopelma lividum
Avicularia avicularia
Pterinochilus murinus
Chilobrachys natanicharum
Harpactira pulchripes
Haploclastus Devamatha
Dolichothele Diamantinensis
Omothymus violaceopes
Avicularia minatrix
(Baseline Tarantulas would propably be Heteroscodra maculata or peacock. Also of note is that Tarantulas spins webs, which at least 3 of these do. Certainly more, but i've only checked 4)
I personally do not feel like the creators of Beast Wars put this much thought into it, but these are all lovely options
