I am running an experiment
Granted, it’s not a very robust experiment - I have a sample size of one, and no control group, but an experiment none the less
But I have an OBT sling, and I know that OBTs have a rep, but there’s a guy that I watch on youtube (Tom’s Big Spider) who has mentioned that his OBT is totally chill/a sweetheart, and he mentioned that he has raised his as a fossorial/given the tarantula a lot more digging space, and he wasn’t 100% sure if there’s a correlation or not but...
Anyway, I’m raising mine as a fossorial for now, to see if I get an Orange Bitey Thing or an Orange Baboon Tarantula, but we shall see.
Some pics of the set up - no rancho - under the cut. I dug out a starter burrow under the cup, and the rancho bolted right in. Knock wood. :D
