What the show claims: Chat noir is important to ladybug because he is the emotional core of the group, even when he isnt needed, he is still important to keeping Ladybug secure.

Hi! In the recent episode Psycomedian Harry the clown call Gabriel "ma poule" and "Gabiche", what kind of relationship between them might this mean? Old friends? Former classmates? Colleagues?

Hey there!

I think he calls him more "Gaby" rather than "Gabiche".

"Gaby" could be translated as "Gabe" in English. As for "ma poule", it's a little trickier, it could be "my chick" or "little ducky" or "my girl" or "sweetie" (but not in the couple-y way), I'm not sure that there's a very precise equivalent for it.

I think it's less of an "old friends" relationship, and more that it's Harry Clown's style to give people pet names like that. He calls Marinette "ma poule" the scene right after his interaction with Gabriel. My guess is that since he's worked with Gabriel in the past (and this probably before Gabriel was really famous), he considers that he can call him like that and act that way with him because that's the way he is. It's unclear how Gabriel views it, but he doesn't seem found of the nickname 😅

I'd say they were old colleague. Former classmates could work as well, but I don't think they're old friends.

A thought based on Miraculous (Spoilers for P*****median):

Gabriel Agreste probably wants to forget that French Fry costume he designed for Harry... and after he's exposed as Shadow Moth, Harry's never gonna let him live it down.

Does this count as Harriel or whatever it's called? I don't know.
