Psych Night 2016

Last night was fun. I wasn’t gonna go because the tickets for our Comic-Con themed Psych Night was expensive, and I wouldn’t have anything to eat bc #vegetarian, but since I was at the hotel the whole afternoon preparing the materials and props for the venue setup, I decided to just go. Yep, it was a very last-minute decision, but good thing I already brought a costume with me, just in case.

Well, it turned out pretty great. Everyone really dressed up for it, and we all kept checking out each other’s costumes and asking what characters we were portraying. Everyone had fun with the cosplay, the Mr. and Ms. Psych, and the movie impersonations. And the food turned out well for me, too. They had a meatless Triple Cheese Spinach Lasagna!!! (I’m gonna try making this at home lol) and Blueberry Cheesecake and another thing for dessert.

The even ended about 10:20PM, but there was a whole more hour of just photo-taking with everybody else, and then a bit of clean-up, and then we just chilled in our hotel room with the other Psych Society officers. We ended up going to Goldenfield for the nearest convenience store, and we just sat there and ate and talked about anything under the sun (clue: it included Roger’s hair, theses, and presidential elections). We stayed there til about 2AM then walked it back to the hotel because the streets were already empty.

We woke up early that morning (about 9am) because Sean was gonna go home to his city. We had donuts and coffee for breakfast and I sent him off to the terminal. I went home and helped my dad and mom out with fixing the house and painting the roof.

I’m glad I went after all.
