Mark adjusts his headset for the fifth time in the hour he’s been recording, glancing over to the side of his filming room where you sit on the floor. There’s a perfectly good beanbag right behind you but you’ve taken to coloring across the floor, your favorite stuffies situated around you in a circle so they can color too.

Mark can’t get himself to focus on the game he’s supposed to be playing, not when you look so cute, and not when you keep flashing him beaming smiles while holding up your drawings. It’s not unusual for you to sit in the same room as Mark as he works while you’re regressed, but Mark has never had this much of an issue with being distracted by you.

Maybe his mind is just preoccupied with other things, maybe it’s the stress catching up with him, or the knowledge that the time he spends recording he could be spending time with you while you’re little- whatever the reason, he can’t keep this up.

“Mark, pst, look.” You mutter as quiet as you can as you know Mark is busy with work and you shouldn’t be bothering him. You just want to show him the drawing you’ve just finished of you stood between him and Amy with Chica and Henry at your feet.

“Very nice, little one.” Mark praises without a thought to how his camera’s still going and this footage will now be unusable. Hopefully he can re-film this all tomorrow, because for now he’s switching his camera off and saving his game.

“Don’t you gotta work?” You ask as Mark makes his way over to sit in front of you.

“It can wait. Do you want to do something aside from coloring?” He reaches to pick up the stack of drawings you’ve made in the hour you’ve been in here, sifting through to see some of them are video game characters, there’s a couple of the dogs, many of you, him, and Amy, and some miscellaneous ones he can’t place but finds cute nonetheless.

“Can we go watch Tv?” An instant nod is all Mark offers before standing and holding his hand out for you, you happily jump to take it and allow him to lead you both towards the living room where the dogs are sleeping on the couch.

“What do you wanna watch?” You both settle into the corner of the couch, Mark opening his arms so you can curl up against his chest, and your legs folding atop his to get as close as humanly possible.

“Mm, Bluey?” A small huff of a laugh leaves Mark but he nods and flips it on. You guys must’ve seen the show all the way through at least three times by now, but if it’s what you want then it’s what you’ll get.

“Thanks Mark.” You say and let your head sleepily lull against his shoulder.

“Course sweetheart.” He’d much rather lay and watch Tv with you than sit at his desk trying to engage in work he could care less about at the moment.

ho ho ho! it's the middle of november! that means, once again, it's time for the secret santa! last year went off without a hitch (if you just ignore how my main was shadowbanned for sending out the giftee assignments, which caused me to finally make a side blog lol), so i'm back once again with this event i've happily hosted since 2016.

hate to beat a dead horse because this is the same shtick as last year and the year prior, but i'll be tremendously busy in december. i will be more hands off and ask that all participants follow the timeline. without further ado, here's the timeline along with the rules!

TIMELINE

the application will be open from 11/15/24 starting at 4:00 P.M. PST and close on 11/25/24 at 11:59 P.M. PST. if you miss the sign up period, please message me immediately because i will begin pairing people up promptly.

between 11/27/24 through 11/29/24, i will send out giftee information to the account/username (twitter or tumblr only) that was provided, so please keep your eye on your dms. if i can’t reach you on tumblr, i’ll send an ask asking you to open your messages to everyone. that way, i can pass along your giftee to you.

as always, 12/15/24 is the check-in day. i will be going around messaging people asking for progress updates. this doesn’t have any specification as people work differently, so if you haven’t started, that’s also fine. it just helps me know where people are in their progress, or if they might need an extension. if you want to reach out first, that helps me mark you down faster!

speaking of extensions, please let me know before 12/22/24 if you will need an extension. life happens, and i know that from experience, so don’t hesitate to reach out. also, if you believe you’ll need to drop out, please let me know before 12/22/24 as well, so that i can find another santa for your giftee. you will still receive your gift!

JUANAFLIPPA CASE COURT HEARING (A very thorough) RECAP

APRIL 12, 4:00PM PST (2023) FAMILY COURT COURTROOM NO.2

JUDGE: Maximus (SapoPeta) PROSECUTION: SLIMECICLE (Charlie el Backflipo), Quackity (esp), Jaiden, Fit, BBH, Foolish DEFENSE: MARIANA, Roier JURY: Dapper, Leonardo777, Tilin, Trump, Bobby, Ramon

OBJECTIVE – To determine whether a crime was committed by the Defense, finalise Flippa’s custody amongst parties (divorce)

A/N: The following was recap was taken from Slimecicle’s (and a bit of Quackity and Philza’s) POV. This is 4 fucking pages long.  

PRE-TRIAL HIGHLIGHTS:

A small courthouse was built for the event - presumably during server maintenance.  

Mariana, Charlie and Quackity dressed up irl in suits for the stream! The couple + Jaiden’s minecraft skins appear in suits too! This isn’t relevant to the case but I respect the dedication :]  

Private conversation where Mariana asks Foolish to represent him in court. Foolish rejects :[

Initially Charlie had hired Roier to be one of the Prosecution’s representatives but had backed out last minute - choosing to instead take Mariana’s side on the Defense.  

Charlie had also requested to hire Philza to be one of the Prosecution’s representatives, to which Philza rejected the offer because of Charlie’s murder attempts on his son Chayanne.  

Individually, Charlie speaks to each of his lawyers in private. As of prior to the hearing, none of them are aware they are not the only lawyers representing the Prosecution.  

A few emotional words were held between Mariana and Charlie. Mariana via Twitter DMs sends Charlie a photo edit of them and JuanaFlippa together as a happy family. They cry together – it’s snotty and kinda gross ://

THE TRIAL:

SapoPeta opens the trial under court of law and representatives of both the Prosecution and Defense introduce themselves to the stand. It is here where all five of Charlie’s lawyers discover there is more than one representative (but it’s cool they play it off and agree to work together).

In defense of himself, Charlie argues that by everyone’s willingness alone to defend him should more than prove the strength of the Prosecution’s case. Quackity (esp) further reinforces Charlie’s first point and brings forth the opening statement outlining three objectives the Prosecution aims to achieve in the following hearing: 1 -To revive JuanaFlippa 2 -For Charlie to have complete custody over JuanaFlippa in the divorce 3 -To sacrifice Mariana to Satan  

As Charlie’s second lawyer, Jaiden drops probably one of the hardest statements in today’s hearing. It’s so sick I’m including the full transcription: “This case isn’t about winning custody. It isn’t about divorce, or even bringing back the life of a child. It is about Justice. Justice that was taken away from an innocent egg JuanaFlippa. JuanaFlippa’s childhood was born into a broken home, but that doesn’t mean she’s any less deserving of life.” “We’re here today standing before you Your Honour to write the Wrong that happened to a defenseless egg that simply wanted love. My client el Backflipo is a good parent. He cared and provided for JuanaFlippa, was always there for her, and at the end of the day Showed Up. All things the Defendant did not do. He knows the family isn’t in the best of situations, but he still did everything within his power to give JuanaFlippa what he could.” “In this case we will be revealing how the Defendant, el Mariana, was not present as a parent, not a good partner, was a bad influence on JuanaFlippa, consistently showed zero care for anything he subjected to her – and now is the ultimate cause for her untimely death.” “The facts in this case are straightforward and we are able to supply evidence and witnesses to stand to prove this point. I believe the Defendant, in a rage of not being able to escap el Backflipo’s custody papers, plotted to gain just enough of el Backflipo’s trust to be left alone with JuanaFlippa where he could then take her life.” “All el Backflipo wanted was to give JuanaFlippa the best childhood he could. He wants to right the wrong that was made in the hands of Mariana. For all those reasons and after you’ve heard all the evidence, at the end of this trial we ask you to return a verdict in favour of el Backflipo. That you find the defendant GUILTY of murder and to have his soul SACRIFICED in the resurrection of JuanaFlippa. Thank you.” (holy hell.)

Roier argues in good faith that Mariana is a good person (by shared history) and father who would never intentionally hit his daughter. The Defense pleads instead for manslaughter and that JuanaFlippa’s death was by a misclick.

Jaiden (sent by Charlie) brings new photo evidence to the stand in harm of Mariana’s image, bringing light to an affair between him and Foolish. Foolish is thrown under the fucking bus and is actively against the Prosecution (he is fired during recess). Principle of the item countering the Defense’s claims of Mariana being a good partner.  

Roier brings new photo evidence in harm of one of Charlie’s lawyer’s image of Tilin saying Quackity was also in an affair (???). Jaiden objects as the item is not relevant to the JuanaFlippa case. Objection accepted.  

Roier demonstrates the fragility of the egg beds - easily destroyable by a single click. He challenges the court to review the quality of egg beds in precedent of the murder. This statement is overruled by the Judge for irrelevance to the JuanaFlippa case, saying that such issue must be brought up in a different trial against the company providing the egg beds. The Judge however agrees that Mariana’s kill was an accident.

BBH from the Prosecution argues for the fragility of egg-kind, showing a reckless disregard from Mariana. Video evidence showing the night of the murder (footage wire-tapped by Charlie) is presented.

Roier argues against BBH bringing awareness to the species of the eggs being birthed from a power dragon (dragons are tough).

The Judge presents an audio file, a conversation between Mariana and JuanaFlippa. Due to technical difficulties in the Global Transcription, Quackity ‘translates’ saying “Daughter, I’m gonna be absent for a very long time therefore you need to start eating dirt so your defenses rise up and you don’t die as quick. Motherfucker.” Roier objects in defense that Mariana is a cc and was being a lil silly slash /j.

The Judge declares Recess as he comes up with a verdict.

Nothing much happens during recess other than a failed assassination on Charlie but it’s whatever ^_^!

Fucking Tik Tok edits were submitted as evidence as leverage to Mariana’s image in proof he is a good father to JuanaFlippa.

More photo evidence of Mariana’s and Foolish’s affair are brought to the court to counter this presented by the Judge. He objects himself for this has nothing to do with the murder, he just put it up there cuz it was funny.

Video evidence of the murder was brought up again. The Defense argues Mariana in fact destroyed a JuanaFlippa decoy - not the real JuanaFlippa. Theory debunked due to the current absence of JuanaFlippa today.

Charlie argues, on which will always transcribe (also hard as hell) the following: “And he (lil Satan) told me that he would burn my family to the ground if I told you this, but I don’t have a family left to burn. SATAN TOLD ME THAT IF I KILLED PHIL’S EGG, HE’D GIVE FLIPPA A GUN TO PROTECT HERSELF AND THIS IS THAT PHOTO RIGHT THERE OF BABY’S FIRST TOY, IN A CIRCLE OF FIRE AS WE MADE AN ACCIDENTAL PACT WITH THE DEVIL. AND HE SAID HE WOULD KILL MY DAUGHTER IF I DIDN’T DO AS HE SAYS. I’M SORRY BUT I WAS DOING WHAT A GOOD PARENT WOULD DO!” The Judge disregards the evidence as it is not relevant to JuanaFlippa’s murder. The murder of Chayanne (and Charlie’s homicidal tendencies) would be left for a different trial.

Fit in representation of the Prosecution brings four netherite ingots to the court as a bribe. It is revealed that the ‘netherite’ was forged.

FINAL VERDICT of today’s trial, in case of JuanaFlippa’s death, that she would be given another life. Both Mariana and Charlie would be sentenced to the QSMP Federal Prison for ~10 minutes. Request for divorce has been denied and parents of the Flippa family must work together in couples therapy.

POST TRIAL HIGHLIGHTS:

Mariana and Charlie are thrown in cages as people throw tomatoes at them. They sing together and do a duet of Careless Whisper on the harmonica/kazoo. Cute!

They escape underground just in time to see Flippa get resurrected. The family are reunited. Aww :,]!

Both Mariana and Charlie (WITHOUT KILLING her this time) tuck JuanaFlippa to bed and promise to work together on their relationship from now on. Yipee ^_^!

Both streams finish with Mariana and Charlie having minecraft sex. The end!

You agreed to come, it would be a great opportunity to as you step foot inside the arcade where you were met with bright neon lights from the games. Gigi bought some tokens as you strolled around the place.

There were a lot to choose from- PacMan, Street Fighter, Space Invaders, there surely must be one that suits you! But she was going somewhere else.

"Pst.." Gigi called you, pointing with her oversized sleeves to a claw machine.

You followed her to the claw machines, plushies galore, games, figurines.. you found them all awesome, until you walked by and something had caught your eye. A giant plushie of your favorite animal. Gigi had caught this, and had a plan. "Heh." She giggled under her breath.

"Hey, what if we had a contest? The one with the most prizes win!" Gigi said with a smirk, raising her sleeves in the air. Your eyes brightened.

"I'm in!" You ambitiously replied with a grin.

"We'll meet here at sunrise. 1, 2, 3, go!"

You ran off and saw Gigi was already on a machine. She entered a token and wiggled the joystick. The crane managed to hold the huge cat plushie.. until the last second.

She frowned, trying multiple times, but she was out of luck on this. "Aw man.." You thought of a plan.

You were focused on your own machine, you jiggled the joystick, your brows were lowered with a nervous grin.. you pressed the button and got the little plush in the first try. You cheered, and got into the next claw machines..

After a few machines, you noticed Gigi already had 10 prizes, while you had 7. It was time to lock in. You ran by the giant cat claw crane Gigi struggled to get.

You inserted the coin.. the usual, joystick jiggle and the button pressing. You weren't on this machine either- first try.. no prize.. second try.. no prize.. third try.. still no prize. OH SHOOT! It's already sunrise. Your nervous hands shook the joystick quickly, the claw got a hold of it, you held your breath as the claw got closer to the hole. Clink.

The giant cat plush was now yours. You cheered, almost forgetting that it was time. You ran as fast as you could go, and stopping with a pant when you saw her.

Gigi leaned onto the neon colored walls, jumping as she saw you exhausted. "Woah, did a zombie chase you or something?" She chuckled. Behind her was a paper bag filled with plushies, small, medium, big she had every size. 19 in total. She hid something behind with her giant sleeves.

The smug gachapon revealed, giving it to you.

You gasp in awe, "Is that for me?"

"Of course, I've already got a truck load of plushies.. no worries. Heh." Your cheeks turn light red as you hug the giant (animal) plush.

"Well, here's something for you too!" You gave her a gigantic cat plush, the same plush she couldn't get her hands on.- "Oh, woah! You actually managed to get that? This. is. AWESOME!!"

You chuckle as her eyes brightened at the sight of it. The both of you left the arcade with joy on your face, laughter and smiles burst from you as both of you stepped out.

Man! I can’t believe I actually made it to 100 days, this has been such a wild ride. Here’s to 100 more!! (But hopefully not!)

Genuinely though, thank you all so much for all the love and support and kindness. I never thought that my mostly low effort hornet doodles would get anywhere at all. And I’ll be honest, I don’t think I would have continued had it not been for 650+ of you following along the way. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!

A few announcements going forward!!

I’m changing my pfp! It’ll be the exact same as the previous, but a more updated version of it! That one was the first drawing ever but I think it’s long overdue for an update lol

With requests reopening in under a week, there are a few things I’d like to bring up. I might close requests a lot more often, but most days it will stay open! Just keep an eye out for when my bio updates!

All daily posts will now have an official time that they will be posted! They will all be posted at 7 am PST going forward, since I found it a bit inconsistent to just post/schedule whenever.

[After a long string of exams, a break finally comes! Whether you passed your exams flawlessly or barely grazed by, it doesn't matter anymore as all you can think about is the free-time that awaits you! Just as your heading back home for the day a shiny poster catches your eye!

(The poster reads) "Come one and all! Tunas Sea-Side party! An all expenses paid summer sea party is being held at the coast of the Coral Sea! Just bring yourself, any floaties, and something to swim in! Lots of events! "Capture the flag! Splash Contest! Beach Volleyball!" We'll be staying at a Villa provided generously by Rook! And Catering thanks to the Monstro Lounge! Hosted by TUNA! Rook! and Azul!" --- It sounds too good to be true... You cautiously take a rsvp paper attached at the bottom and shrug. Tuna is hosting a beach party and everyone is invited! Did they have to use all their savings for this? maybe... Did they also have to sign a contract with Azul to make it happen? Also possible! But Tuna has a bit of a surprise in store for all who come... 😈 Through some magical sweet talking and a LOT of pleading, this party is coming to fruition.

I think I might have fallen in love- realization fics! Fics with this prompt can be the realization of anything--a characters imminent death, the moment wherein someone realizes they've been betrayed, or they can be super fluffy and detail the moment a character realizes they're in love, the moment where they realize they can see a future with the reader--perhaps one that entails settling down or one that involves leaving the past behind--, the moment where they realize that they want to marry them! Anything goes with this prompt, and I'll write 1-5k words using it!

OKAY- what about nikolai x reader. and it's where he realizes he wants to marry her. maybe r thinks of a solution to some matter of state and he watches in awe how she handles the questions and gets the other's attention. and he's just like "yep. i'm gonna make her my bride" or something like that :)

okay, hi! This came out a bit later than I meant for it to--I decided a few weeks ago to plan out a duology to try to complete during NaNoWriMo and that took up a lot of my headspace, where trying to make sure my mental health was on track and I was breathing in something other than stale apartment air took up the rest of it. However, I am so sorry for how late this is coming out regardless!

On another note, my requests close next friday! They close at 11:30 pm AST (which is around 7:30 PST) and hopefully, what remains of my requests will be done by that point. Fall event requests are open until the second and my holiday event will come out sometime between the 24th of November and the 1st of December.

You and Nikolai were sitting in a meeting, debating with the Grisha triumvirate and several other relevant court members who sat in on Ravkas ever growing list of issues. You'd thrummed your way from matters of inter-palace discontent through matters of civilian discontent and you were up to matters of state.

Nikolai was getting bored watching everyone bicker, each of them trying to stop one another from getting a word in, but you looked as though you'd just gotten started. Nikolai could've sworn you were smirking slightly as you watched Zoya snap at a general, ready to throw a gust of wind at him--one so powerful that it knocked him through the meeting room wall--and barely managing to restrain herself. You looked as though, despite the fact that you weren't Grisha, you were ready to do the same thing.

Genya looked ready to tailor someone into a very ugly version of themself and David simply looked as though he wanted to go back to his work, like he was mad at the fact of his obligations as a member of the triumvirate for pulling him away from it.

"And before you start, Novikov," you started. Nikolai turned his attention to you, smile on his face. "Let me talk my way through this, yeah? You start talking and you might find yourself unable to fill your britches because you simply don't know enough. It's not a matter of the people--it's a matter of the funds we're able to allocate to the cities. If we can allocate enough to cities both big and small then we're setting ourselves up for an economic boom that starts at the big cities, moves to the small ones. It moves to the towns, and from the towns it moves back to us."

"How do you expect Ravka of all places to be able to do such a thing?" Novikov asks, bushy eyebrows furrowed at your suggestion.

"We can get tourists in," you said. "Ravka is broke--that is absolutely not a surprise to anyone in this room. However, to appeal to those who can only afford to take one vacation a year we advertise the cities. The ones with good-quality but still cheap hotels, honest working parents and saintstales as old as the country itself."

"And what of the rich folks?" David asked. "I mean--we can't advertise Ravka for tourism without aiming somewhere that will actually make a difference one trip on, can we?"

"Palace tours," you said. "The Grand Palace--we can make it a tourist spot Friday through Monday, twelve hours, with options for individual touring, group touring, or guided versions of the same. I'll be a bloody guide if I need to, but I know that there are people somewhere who are passionate about Ravkas history to be willing to volunteer their time."

'And how long is this going to take to pay off our debts?" Novikov asked. "I mean--nobody will go for it if it takes us longer than a decade."

"If it takes us longer than a decade, the youngest of us in the room have a chance at seeing it in the last year or two before we hit forty," Genya said. "Nikolai is twenty-four at the current, which means it would take sixteen years if it were to be such a strenuous plan."

"It's not," You said. "Tours of the palace will take two hours going at a slow pace if my walks of the Grand Palace are to have proved anything. If we get six volunteers, then that's one to cover every tour everyday. Ticket prices can be set at 20 coin for a general admission, 10 for children and fifteen for seniors. Max the group allowance at groups of ten and that ranges from 100-200 coin just off the gate. Take that and multiply it by six, and we have 600-1200 coin going back into the coffers of those to whom Ravka is indebted. It'll be volunteer based because the saints know we cannot afford to pay the guides but I would do a twelve hour workday just to prove that my idea is the right move."

"And what benefits could we offer in place of wages?"

"A hot meal when shifts are done, a room at the Little Palace and food by an irrefutable line of direction. We could also put them on palace staffing lists officially so they'd at least be making the minimum wage, but I think that such would constitute as fraudulent somewhere."

Nikolai was deep in thought when you brought up that last point, but with one squeeze from your hand he was back to reality.

"If they would be willing to take a room in the Little Palace for the duration of time during which tours take place, then it wouldn't violate any laws--they'd be working within the palaces, allowing their placement onto the palace staff."

"What is your estimate on how long it would take?" Novikov asked. "On how long the combination of marketing the cities and the palace tours would take to pay off our debts and refill the war treasury?"

Nikolai had been looking at you how he always did--like you were the love of his life. As he watched you answer what both of you had hoped tto be Novikovs last question, he came to a realization.

"A minimum of five years," you said. "And that is with the tours going all year round. If we could have the tours going daily it would probably still be the same such estimate--we're more than one million kruge in debt with Kerch, double that with Novyi Zem, Novikov. The process for clearing Ravka of it's debts is not something that will be instantaneous unless you're willing to sell your home and give the funds to the cause? According to reports I've seen, your home could have us reasonably jumped forward if you sell it for it's maximum monetary value?"

Nikolai could see it right in front of him--two years from then, a ceremony. Watching you walk down the isle, a coronation where you were crowned as queen. A life as your husband, a life with you as his wife.

He glanced at the ring finger on his left hand--it was looking awfully bare, but if you said yes when Nikolai proposed, which he decided he would do right then, it would not look bare for the rest of his life.

"All in favor?" Nikolai asks, giving your hand a squeeze as the thought solidifies itself fully in his mind.

I am going to make her my bride.

Everyone, including a rather embarrassed Novikov, said "I" and you grinned victoriously.

Your plan was barely in motion, but it was starting to gain traction still. As Nikolai pressed a kiss to your cheekbone and the two of you moved to leave the meeting room, the same could be said of his.

Hello! It’s that time of year again - Fic Clique Rec Exchange! This might have snuck up on you just like it’s snuck up on us. So, this year we are doing things slightly differently! This will be a slightly more casual Rec Exchange than in years past, but it will still embody the true spirit and joy of gifting fic recs. 

Please note: Due to the nature of this event and the fact that explicit fics may be part of the exchange, you must be 18+ to participate.

We will be hosting the Rec Exchange this year over at our new Fic Clique Dreamwidth page! You will comment on the sign-up post with your request (instead of submitting via gdoc like years past). After the sign-up period has been completed, there will be a claims period in which everyone will have a free for all to claim who they’d like to rec for! You will claim by commenting “Claimed!” on the post you’d like to rec for. ** Please claim using the anon posting option! ** 

If you have signed up, you will need to claim someone to rec for. You can also claim up to three (3) people to rec for. This does mean that people may have more than one person reccing for them. Just like you can claim up to three people to rec for, each sign-up can only have three claims and will be capped and closed at three. 

We are also doing informal rec “treats” this year - you can add one “treat” rec to any sign-up regardless of whether you claimed their request during claims. 

Instead of everyone receiving their recs via email as in years past, recs will be posted by the rec-er on the sign-up they claimed in the Dreamwidth community. There will be a longer posting period - so if you do not see recs on the first day, please do not despair! It is the holidays and we want to give people time.

Q: Can I request any fandom?

A: Yes. You can request any fandom under the sun - however please keep in mind that it is smart Rec Exchange practice to request at least one bigger fandom, to make it more likely that people will have recs to offer you. 

Q: Is this exchange anonymous?

A: Yes & no. Your sign-up is not anonymous in that you will need to use a name to sign-up (this obviously can be an internet username or pseudonym). Claims will be anonymous. However, when you post your recs, you will also need to put your name. 

Q: How do drop outs work?

A: We have a fairly informal drop out process. Since we are doing sign-ups differently this year, please just email us if you need to drop out and let us know who you were reccing for so we can help fill in or find a pinch hitter.
