“I lift up my eyes to the hills — where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip. He who watches over you will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you — the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm — He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
— Psalm 121:1-8, from The Song of Ascents, Of David.

‭‭Psalm 121:1-2 (ESV‬‬). “‭‭I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
Lovely verse, lovely picture. 🙂
Friend, if you need to hear this today, you are never alone. Your Helper (The Holy Spirit) is always with you. He prays for you (Rom.8:28), Jesus intercedes for you in Heaven (Heb 7;25). God The Father watches over you and sends His Angels to guard you (Psalms 91 and 121). You are never without help available. Look to the hills, your help comes from The Lord. Amen and have a blessed day! 🙏🕊️🙌

Our Divine Security Patrol
In a world filled with uncertainty, we are constantly reminded of how fragile life can be. By now, you probably know that last Sunday there was another attempt on President Trump’s life. Lord, have mercy! It was another chilling reminder that no one, no matter how powerful or protected, is immune to danger. That’s why we best be placing our trust in He Who is our ultimate security…

Faithful God
The Sun comes up every morning and this is a very STRONG reminder of our God's Faithfulness to us. God bless your day.
I will sing of your strength and will joyfully proclaim your faithful love in the morning. For you have been a stronghold for me, a refuge in my day of trouble. To you, my strength, I sing praises, because God is my stronghold — my faithful God. Psalms 59:16-17 CSB Good Morning SonShine In the morning, the sun comes up faithfully as God maintains what He has created and faithfully shatters the…

Psalm 121:
A song of ascents.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
He who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, He who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—
He will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Amen.

Church notes - 28th July 2024
28th 1 Peter 2:13 - 25 Faithfulness in the face of persecution. vs 13 - 17 Human authority is under God's authority. Honor human authority. Fear God.
vs 15 Do good in God's behalf.
Who grind's on you? Do good to them. Show them God's light.
Galatians 2:20.
God's calling to you is to suffer. You will have troubles in this world.
Acts 14:22 1 Thessalonians 3:3 Philippians 1:29
Not mindless pain. It is suffering for the sake of Christ.
Psalm 23 The rod and staff comforting is what we should be focused on, not the valley of the shadow of death.
vs 20
It is for His Name's sake.
By nature we are self centred, but by focusing on God we can stand the world's waves.
God's example to you is Jesus.
The suffering servant. Matthew 16:13 -20
He committed no sin. He was authentic, forgiving, even on the Cross. He entrusted himself to Him who judges justly.

𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐲𝐮𝐝𝐚 𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐨́𝐧

Where Does My Help Come From?
Introduction Last year, my wife, father-in-law, and I moved from Colorado to Florida, the flattest state in the US. I love Florida, so I’m glad we made the move, but I miss my friends and family still living in Colorado, and I miss the mountains. Thankfully, God has blessed us with the ability to come back and visit for a good chunk of time this summer, so that’s where we are now. On this…

Our Help is the Lord
Psalm 121. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor…

PSALMS S.O.A.P. ~ PSALM 121
Thursday, 1/4/24
SCRIPTURE:
The Lord will protect your coming and going  both now and forever. ~ Psalm 121:8
OBSERVATION:
Coming and going...
In my coming to - approaching - Him...
...and in my going with - following - Him...
Now and forever...
This instant...
...and the next...
...and the next...
...into eternity - with Him...
All because of His grace, His Son Jesus...
APPLICATION:
Lean into His protection...
Come and go in His protection...
Now and forever...
PRAYER: (Including verses 1, 2, and 5 as well)
Protecting Father - my help and my salvation - Maker of heaven and earth... Thank Your allowing me to come and go with You... to be able to approach Your holiness in confession, praise and adoration... I seek Your forgiveness for my failures to obey all I should, for stepping out on my own too many times, for allowing fears and worries to distract me from remembering - from knowing - You are at my side, sheltering me from the enemy and that nothing is outside Your will for me if I'll just remember to surrender my will in way Jesus did throughout His sinless life... In His Name, Father, and for Your worshipful glory...
Coming and going with you - under His protection...

Daily Prayer for the Lord's Day: December 3, 2023
Prayer: Grant to us, almighty God, the zeal and delight to honor and adore you today as we gather to worship you for your marvelous works and infinite grace. You have made us. We thank you for the bounty of the Lord’s day that reminds us of the eternal…
