Inotan Fan Comic: Stares in this Town - Tanjirou's Tempura Therapy

Context: The above work is a comic adaptation of a scene from my Inotan fic Stares in this Town, illustrated by the talented ReName_éĺĺ. It's set 2 years after the main story ends. Tanjirou and Inosuke are 17 years old. Their hair has grown a little longer, they're a little taller with less roundish faces. They work in the Wisteria Garden, an eatery that the Kamados have just inherited from their neighbour. Tanjirou is the head chef, assisted by Nezuko, while Inosuke and Zenitsu work in the front of house. Inosuke doesn't wear his boar mask but he still tugs at Tanjirou's clothes when he's stressed.
If you read Stares in this Town, this scene comes after the point where Inosuke, initially reluctant to take up his new role, starts his first work day proper after mistakenly believing that Tanjirou has challenged him to do so.

Author's Notes I'm absolutely thrilled to share this collaboration with the incredibly talented ReName_éĺĺ, whose fantastic works you might have come across in my tumblr (ahem, I promise I haven't forgotten about this translation project, life's just been a whirlwind lately, but I'll definitely get around to it soon!). I'll spare you from my gushing (I already left ReName_éĺĺ a semi-essay about how incredible I thought her work was), but let me just say that seeing one of my favorite scenes brought to life in her art style and interpretation truly brought tears to my eyes. Inosuke's shirt-pulling and the feeding trope are some things I really enjoy, so I'm over the moon to see them visualized here. I barely provided any art direction beyond using my fic as a reference, so I was absolutely astounded by how seamlessly ReName_éĺĺ incorporated elements from canon (like the chibis and that first frame on the second page from the famous "you make me feel secure" scene) with her own interpretation of my story. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how handsome and grown-up our boys look in her style? And Tanjirou's gentle and domestic demeanor is just too adorable - they look like such a cute newly-married couple! (though, in these scenes, they haven't actually gotten together yet). Okay, I'm getting carried away with excitement, so I'll stop gushing now. I hope you enjoy this comic as much as I do, and while this collaboration was definitely initiated for my own enjoyment, it would mean the world to me if you let me know that you're also enjoying it. And if you haven't checked out the fic yet, please give it a read here. Additionally, if there are any scenes from my other works that youâd like to see a visual interpretation of, feel free to let me know in the workâs comments. I cannot promise that itâll happen, but Iâll certainly consider it if ReName_éĺĺâs schedule allows! Thank you for reading! If you enjoyed this, itâd really make my day if you could drop a like, reblog, and/or comment to let me know! This comic is also published on AO3 where you can comment anonymously! Although I mostly create for myself, your encouragement keeps me motivated to post and share my work.

One of my questions was answered for the AIPT X-Men Monday today!!!
(source here)
My thoughts: I like the idea that we'll actually be exploring Akihiro's history. Could be very interesting if done properly.
Quite a few people also asked about Aurora:
The "So will others" is mildly ominous, but okay. I mean, in combination with the exploration of his history of pain, my first thought was Donna Kiel, but maybe Percy will also introduce some new characters to fill the "past relationships" role.
I am excited to see Aurora though! We haven't seen her since Sabretooth War and I still maintain she had absolutely the best monologue in that arc and should've kicked Logan's ass, but I digress.
My personal thoughts from the letterless previews:
The biker jacket is cool. He's got the James Dean biker fit and I am here for it:
James Dean for reference:

(I don't know if it was intentional or not--or if I'm just seeing what I want to see, lol -- but at the very least, I'm glad Akihiro has his own biker look. I hope this will continue and we'll actually see him dressed in proper fashion in the future.)
Though I am disappointed by the mohawk return. I miss the long fluffy hair and I maintain we did not get enough of it.
My interest is also piqued by the apparent new power sets???
We got a case of what looks like human trafficking, but either this is a visual representation metaphor thing for Akihiro's tracking abilities or Bagra-Ghul literally allows him to see through walls now. I guess we'll find out on this one.
Though in general, we have some cool ass visuals already (the artist is gonna kill it on this series):
Anyway, so far this looks incredibly promising and December cannot come soon enough

Hi! I wanted to share that I enjoy your work so much, itâs got this cozy feel thatâs always pulled me inâ itâs a gift. I saw that you enjoy sharing more about your work so I thought Iâd pop in for some TV crumbs đ
We saw a bit of the domestic life between reader & Eren in ch. 11, but what does a typical day off look like? Who drags who out of bed? Who hides behind corners to spook the other? Who suddenly decides to rearrange furniture? The dynamic is so wholesome, Iâd imagine itâs a lot of domestic bliss & core memories ⨠please share your sweet headcanons before we are consumed by bittersweet angst đ¤˛
Oh my goodness, I love this question soooo much!!!!
First off, thank you so much for taking me up on my invite to send asks about my works <3 Iâll give you more than crumbs!! (This is me feeling guilty that TV hasnât been updated).
Sorry i hoarded your ask for a couple days. I was waiting on a wireless keyboard I ordered to be delivered and I just KNEW I wanted to type up my response with it (I totally get if that seems a bit silly to you lol but typing feels so much better with a keyboard â I feel so inspired heh)
Okay, on to my ramblesâŚ
THE START OF THE DAY
For starters, we all know Reader is ALWAYS asking for five more minutes in bed and Eren ALWAYS gives in because he finds it absolutely adorable. This day-starter habit makes its way into their days off too. Of course, the usual five minutes turn into 10, 15, 20⌠maybe even 30 if they stayed up late the night before (heh đ) because their to-do list on days off is more forgiving than when they have to work and be proper adults. Also, Eren typically works from home so his days just kind of blend together.
Eventually, itâs usually Eren who gets up first to whip up some breakfast for the two, but not before planting a soft kiss on Readerâs forehead.
CLEANING TIME
Eren is a pretty neat guy, but Reader is the one who goes all out. Given how she grew up, sheâs very careful about putting things in their place and cleaning up any messes before the visual clutter is too much to bear at the beginning of their relationship â this is especially true when sheâs staying over at Erenâs and doing her best not to cause him any trouble. When we took a look at her apartment the night of the Halloween party, there mightâve been a misplaced book or one too many knickknacks, but theyâre all fixed in a spot with intention. The longer they date, Reader eases up little by little, but on their days off? Oh, as soon as her day finally starts, sheâs bursting with energy and commanding Eren to take care of all the spots she canât reach. Sheâs taking charge and moving the furniture around to make sure to get every nook and cranny (Eren stresses that she needs to tell him and heâll do it for her, but she never listens â she can handle it!). She says itâs easier to go through the week that way, since you wonât have to do much housework once you finish work. Eren makes it more fun, though. He blasts music while they busy themselves around the house and thereâs always a moment when a love song comes on shuffle and he zooms to whatever room she is with a broom for a mic and serenades her, pulls her away from her dusting and gets her to dance. She always refuses â âyou always do this, come on!! We have a lot to doâ â but she does this with a huge grin on her face until she canât hold back from laughing at what he refers to as his âmating danceâ.
Whenever they stay at her place though, cleaning days arenât that intense because Reader always finds time to do a chore during the week. But she is defo the furniture mover here too!! At Erenâs place, itâs more so for cleaning access but, at her place, itâs every other month that she thinks âhmmâŚ. What if the bed was parallel to my window instead of facing it?â And of course, big reliable boyfriend Eren moves the big things around as much as she wants until her room is to her liking. For some reason, she has no problem letting him move things for her when itâs at her apartment lol. Itâs because when theyâre at his place, she wants to do it herself as a token of her appreciation <3
THE TO-DO LIST
Grocery shopping: Eren is more of a grocery delivery man, but Reader prefers to go to the store. She used to haul things with her trusty tote, but know the boyfriend is here to lighten the weight. She calls out and checks off items from her list while he plucks things off shelves and pushes the cart.
Regular shopping: Reader is a bit fashionable, if you can tell from how carefully she puts together her outfits. Itâs the one âindulgenceâ she doesnât mind allowing herself since leaving such an unstable home life. Nice clothes make her feel good, and if I must say it in case it was missed, her wardrobe has gotten more colorful since meeting Eren. Sheâll sometimes see something she likes while theyâre out running errands or going on a walk and pull Eren inside. Sheâll come out of the dressing room with an excited smile and a sweater in a color or pattern she somehow doesnât have yet, or try on a pair of shoes and look up for Erenâs opinion with a twinkle in her eye and he always melts at the sight. On the chance that he beats her to pay for it, she keeps her eyes peeled and gets something nice for him too.
Laundry: Eren has a personal washer and dryer at his place, Reader has a shared laundry room at her apartment building. Before Eren, she would use whatever scent fabric softener was on sale. After Eren, we know already that she switched to eucalyptus because it felt like a small piece of him was with her all the time. What I never mentioned though is that she switched scents after her buildingâs laundry room was packed on one occasion she had let all her used clothes pile up and Eren told her to bring her stuff over at his place. She forgot her fabric softener, used his and loved that she spent the next few days smelling like him.
SICK DAYS
These count as days off too, kinda? Eren treats her like a baby. Refuses to let her lift a finger, runs warm baths for her, makes sure the whole place is warm and cozy for her, gives her massages and cooks hearty soups.
Reader isnât any less doting. She does all the same for him. Her biggest challenge, though, is that Eren canât swallow pills lol so she has to crush them for him and mix it with his food :c. Also, Reader is very much still herself when sheâs sick, but Eren tends to be very whiny.
TENDER MOMENTS
Eren loves helping dry her hair after a shower. They sit down in front of the TV. She nurses a cup of tea while seated between his legs. Heâs so gentle when combing his fingers through her hair and letting the warm air from the hairdryer run through the locks. He massages her scalp and finishes off with a soft kiss to her temple.
They babysit Josie together sometimes. Whenever one of them is doing something cute with her, the other is always silently gushing over the sight. One time, they got mistaken for a family while out at the park, and both of them got so shy and quiet after that.
Reader tried to teach him how to knit one time, got jealous he was so good at it right off the bat (Iâm talking even tension, seamless joining in the round, continental style knitting), and silently took her needles out of his hands because how is he so naturally good at everything??
Whether theyâre watching TV together or are each doing their own thing sitting on opposite ends of the couch, they HAVE to be touching each other in a way. Have it be their feet meeting in the middle, or her leaning on his shoulder, or resting her legs on his lap and her arms draped around his neck while he strokes her thighs or the small of her back â they are VERY touchy-feely in private.
SHENANIGANS
If theyâre ever in a debate over what to order for dinner, all Reader has to do is pout and heâll forget what he was ever vouching for.
Eren loves to scare her. Heâll hide just around the corner and spook her or sneak up behind her and attack her with tickles. To get back at him for the last one, she convinced him to let her stick a broomstick through the arms of his sweater and she went to town tickling him everywhere until he was gasping for air from laughing too hard (this was trend on TikTok lol. I think they wouldâve been cute like that).
AAHHH!! I got a bit carried away but I hope this was fun to read through!! It was my keyboard that got me inspired, Iâm telling you!
Thank you so much again for sending this ask!! <3 Iâm so happy to know TV (and our TV couple) is so loved. I love getting an ask that gets me thinking about what happens between the main events of any of my stories. This one was so fun <3
Hope youâre having a good day/night! <3

Captain lasserhawk bl manga be upon ye soon, fr I'm so excited to get that comic soon along with the French comic, I'm also glad that this series has gotten a good amount of traction. It really gives me hope that season 2 might happen sometime in the coming years. I do wonder who else might actually appear, Rayman characters aside since they're confirmed, like how many other ubisoft properties will appear officially instead of background segments.
Me too anon I wanna know just what the relationship between Alex and Dolph was like before the show and how toxic it really is now that Dolph is looking back on that time without rose tinted glasses
I hope the French comic gets an English translation of some kind, I wanna know what the deal is with Dolph's even more emo looking friend feel free to give me spoilers on that though
I've been doing my own research regarding ubisoft properties outside the obvious and popular stuff (a lot of generic shooters in the library, all the more impressive how creative the show ended up being). One thing that's stood out to me is this game called child of Eden
Play through here if you wanna see it's visuals , which in my opinion look very pretty but overstimulating to focus on. I don't know what the copyright/trademark status for this game is since it was a collaboration with a real band, the character Lumi being based on a real person, or if they'd ever even reference it much less use elements from it. But Lumi being a collection of memories of someone whose long dead while referred to as child of Eden feels like peak fanfic material. I can imagine her in the laserhawk universe as a character similar to S.A.M from canon Busters or Nia from gurren lagann (an anime on my watch list but I already know Nia is my fav) , a sweet not quite human girl who has a lot more going on under her cheerful personality prob be a little sister figure to Dolph lmao
I desperately want to see these twins too just for the aesthetic possibilities of their designs alone, especially if you can give at least one them ridiculous long pigtails. Could totally sneak in some Sailor Moon and similarly cute anime references into their designs considering they have a rabbit motif , maybe even a pet Rabbid?
And finally I wanna know if and how Prince of Persia fits into this remixed universe. I haven't had much chances to rewatch the show proper, but I couldn't help but notice that despite how popular and more well know it is (compared to the handful of shooters in Ubisoft's library), the anime hasn't made any references to Prince of Persia. I'm not holding my breath for laserhawk to reference Prince of Persia since the series is strongly in the fantasy genre compared to the show being sci fi, but they got Rayman in this show already and Adi confirmed other characters from Rayman's world will appear, so it's not like it's completely off the table
Also more aliens, just, I kinda see more aliens (not Rayman related) pop up here

some final zelda thoughts
TotK's plot is like. super obviously just a better iteration of BotW's plot, to the point that BotW not happening at all would change basically nothing about TotK. there's even the visual of Calamity Ganon around Hyrule Castle replicated better with the Demon Dragon emerging from the depths
anyways. i liked it overall though i wish they had committed to the Dragon Zelda thing or at least had her at-all affected by being a dragon for like 1000 years. "do time travel to help zelda" would also have been a decent sequel hook but i guess every zelda game has to end with the status quo restored
the triforce For Sure still exists and is relevant, also, despite it never being named. it's (to me) the only sufficient explanation for why Ganondorf and Zelda both get so massively buffed by their Secret Stones- and plus the "Zelda cradling the Master Sword" memory kind of confirms this with the gold light coming out of the back of her right hand
timeline stuff: at the very least, Rauru's Hyrule probably isn't The Literal First Hyrule, since Sonia has time powers (an established Hylia thing) and Triforce tattoos on her arms, and it would be weird for her to have both of those things in a Hyrule where the Triforce is not visibly relevant at all. plus it would be extra weird considering the references to other Zelda games in BotW/TotK where Ganondorf appears- like, Twilight Princess Ganondorf existing while TotK's Ganondorf is still in stasis under Hyrule Castle doesn't make a whole lot of sense, considering the latter is implied to be alive the whole time
the four main temples absolutely needed to be longer, though. Lightning Temple was the best of the bunch and it still ended way sooner than it should have. the Water and Fire temples were like. aggressively simple as well (even including the "town" segments leading up to them), with the Wind temple being pretty much average. the whole Zonai Ruins/Dragonhead Island/Spirit Temple section was really cool and I actually enjoyed that whole stretch more than Gerudo Town/Lightning Temple.
the biggest disappointment re: temples though (aside from the lack of dungeon items) was that the area leading up to Ganon was just like 3 hallways full of enemies. i was really hoping for some kind of depths version of hyrule castle down there, like a proper last dungeon
fight with Ganondorf was pretty cool but i still really fucking hate the way Flurry Rush works. it literally feels random. sometimes i would backflip/sidestep *way* too early and get the rush, whereas sometimes doing that would just get me swatted as soon as i land or just Nothing would happen.
final nitpick: tying the Sage powers to the Physical Location Of An NPC With Bad Pathfinding That You Can't Call Back To You was an absurdly fucking stupid decision and i want to find whoever at nintendo had that idea so i can bash their face with a frying pan. put the fucking sage powers on D-Pad Down (Hold) please

He is the monster. Everything fears him.
Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4 is one of my favorite comic book issues of all time. Something about it just clicks for me. The way it tackles self isolation, losing contact with your own humanity. The loss of a sense of self, giving way to delusion. The Rat King's overly grandiose, purple prose ridden self reflection is so distinctly memorable. You know nothing about him, like an urban legend come to life. You can only speculate what caused him to become what he is now.
All this to say that this NECA Mirage Rat King has become one of my most anticipated releases of the year. I hopped on this as soon as it went up on Target's site, I'm not disappointed. The sculpt is peak, if you asked me to visualize the perfect Rat King figure in my head, this would be it. That headsculpt in particular is so, SO good. The gnashing teeth, the bugged out uneven eyes, and the shadowed out features. Awesome.
He also comes with a second head, based on his later appearances where he becomes a sort of spirit guide to Splinter. It's pretty good too, but something about it is a bit off to my eyes. Maybe it's the expression, or the shape, or the size, but it doesn't land for me. Not that it matters, since the first appearance head is SO good I was never gonna use that head.
Accessories are solid, but nothing special. He has two sets of fists, one with the thumbs tucked beneath his fingers and the other with them out like a proper fist. The first set with the inset thumbs seems to be based on the splash page that marks his introduction in TotTMNT #4. Very specific reference, I kinda dig it but feel they would have been better served giving him open gestural hands without the claws instead. He also has removable bandages on his legs. These would have been better off part of the sculpt, since they slide around a lot when handling him.
Articulation is about what you expect from this line, very good but a bit hampered since sculpt takes priority #1. The hips in particular don't get great forward range. Still, he has enough to get some really solid poses, even if you gotta work for it sometimes.
Overall, while I have my complaints, I can't deny how much I love this toy. It's exactly what I wanted it to be.

Early Intervention and Autism Treatment in Hyderabad: Where to Start?
Understanding the Importance of Early Intervention

When it comes to autism, early diagnosis and timely intervention can make a significant difference in a childâs developmental journey. If youâre searching for the best autism treatment in Hyderabad, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. At NeuroLink Rehab, weâre committed to guiding parents and caregivers through every step, offering personalized therapies that support children in reaching their full potential.
In this blog, weâll explore why early intervention is crucial, what treatment options are available, and how you can find the right resources for your child in Hyderabad.
Why Early Intervention Matters in Autism Treatment
Early intervention refers to therapies and support services provided to children with autism at the earliest possible stage, typically before the age of five. Research shows that starting treatment early can lead to significant improvements in communication, social skills, and behavior, helping children integrate more easily into school and social environments.
At NeuroLink Rehab, we emphasize the importance of recognizing early signs of autism, such as:
Delayed speech or language development
Limited eye contact or social interaction
Repetitive behaviors or restricted interests
Sensory sensitivities (e.g., overreaction to sounds or textures)
If you notice any of these signs, seeking professional help as soon as possible can set your child on a path toward meaningful progress.
Where to Begin: Getting a Diagnosis
The first step in starting autism treatment is obtaining a proper diagnosis. In Hyderabad, you can consult with developmental pediatricians, child psychologists, or neurologists who specialize in autism spectrum disorder (ASD). They will conduct a thorough assessment, including behavioral observations and developmental history, to provide an accurate diagnosis.
Once diagnosed, the next step is to explore therapy options tailored to your childâs unique needs. This is where NeuroLink Rehab can step in to offer personalized support and evidence-based treatments.

Fine and gross motor skills development
Enhancing focus, coordination, and independence in daily routines
With personalized occupational therapy plans, children become more confident and capable of handling real-world tasks.

A Beginnerâs Guide to Music Rights Management with Deliver My Tune
As an artist stepping into the music industry, understanding the legal and financial aspects of your work is essential for long-term success. One of the most important elements of your career as a musician is managing your rights, ensuring you get the compensation and recognition you deserve for your creations. This is where rights management services, such as those offered by Deliver My Tune, come into play. If youâre new to the music scene, navigating the complex world of rights management might seem intimidating. This guide will break down the basics and explain how Deliver My Tune simplifies rights management for beginners.
What is Music Rights Management?
Music rights management refers to the process of handling the legal rights associated with a piece of music. These rights determine how your music can be used, distributed, and monetized. When you create music, you automatically own certain rights to it, but managing these rights effectively is crucial to protect your work from unauthorized use and to ensure you receive the appropriate royalties for its usage.
There are several types of music rights that artists need to be aware of:
Copyright: This is the fundamental right you own as the creator of a musical work. Copyright ensures that no one can copy, distribute, or publicly perform your music without your permission. In most countries, copyright exists automatically as soon as you create and record your music.
Mechanical Rights: These rights cover the reproduction of your music, whether it's through physical formats like CDs and vinyl or digital downloads and streams. Whenever your song is reproduced or downloaded, you are entitled to mechanical royalties.
Performance Rights: These rights allow you to earn royalties whenever your music is performed publicly, whether it's on the radio, in a club, or during a live performance. Performance rights are usually managed through Performance Rights Organizations (PROs), which collect royalties on behalf of artists.
Synchronization (Sync) Rights: Sync rights cover the use of your music in visual media, such as films, commercials, or television shows. Whenever your song is used alongside a visual, you're entitled to synchronization royalties.
Licensing: Licensing is when you give someone else permission to use your music. This can include allowing your song to be used in commercials, YouTube videos, or even video games. Licensing can be a significant source of income for musicians.
Why Rights Management Matters
Managing your music rights is not just about protecting your work; itâs also about maximizing your revenue streams. Proper rights management ensures that you receive all the royalties youâre entitled to and that your music is used legally and fairly.
Without effective rights management, you risk losing control over your music. Unauthorized use of your work can lead to missed revenue opportunities, and if you don't track your rights properly, you may not receive the full compensation youâre due. Moreover, understanding your rights allows you to negotiate better deals, whether itâs with a record label, a music streaming service, or a film producer looking to use your music in a project.
How Deliver My Tune Simplifies Rights Management
For new artists, managing rights can seem overwhelming due to the technicalities involved. This is where Deliver My Tune steps in. Deliver My Tune offers a comprehensive rights management service that simplifies the process, so you can focus more on creating music rather than worrying about the legal intricacies.
Hereâs how Deliver My Tune helps:
Copyright Protection: Deliver My Tune ensures your music is properly registered for copyright protection, preventing unauthorized use or duplication. They handle the legal side of things, ensuring that you retain full ownership of your work.
Royalty Collection: One of the most challenging aspects of music rights management is tracking and collecting royalties. Deliver My Tune ensures that you receive all the mechanical, performance, and sync royalties you are entitled to by working with key organizations like PROs and other royalty collection agencies.
Licensing Management: If youâre interested in licensing your music for commercials, films, or other media, Deliver My Tune manages the entire licensing process. They help you navigate the complexities of licensing agreements, ensuring that your music is used legally and that youâre compensated fairly.
Global Distribution: With Deliver My Tune, you donât have to worry about your music being used without permission internationally. They manage your rights on a global scale, ensuring that your music is protected and monetized wherever itâs played.
Simplified Processes: Perhaps one of the greatest benefits of working with Deliver My Tune is how they streamline all the processes involved in rights management. From registering copyrights to collecting royalties and managing licenses, they take care of the hard work so you can focus on your art.
Performance Rights Organizations (PROs) and Deliver My Tune
A key part of music rights management is working with Performance Rights Organizations (PROs). PROs, like ASCAP, BMI, and PRS, are responsible for collecting royalties whenever your music is performed publicly. Deliver My Tune works with these organizations to ensure that your performance royalties are collected and paid out to you efficiently.
If you're new to the industry, navigating PROs can be daunting. However, Deliver My Tune simplifies this by handling registration, royalty tracking, and payments through their platform. This way, you donât have to worry about missing out on any public performance earnings, whether your song is played on the radio, in a cafe, or during a concert.
Conclusion
For new artists, rights management might seem like a complicated and overwhelming process. However, itâs a crucial aspect of protecting your music and maximizing your income. Deliver My Tuneâs rights management services simplify the entire process, allowing you to focus on what matters mostâcreating music.
By handling copyright registration, royalty collection, licensing, and working with PROs, Deliver My Tune ensures that your music is protected and that youâre fairly compensated for its use. Whether youâre just starting out or looking to take control of your career, Deliver My Tune provides the tools and services you need to succeed in the modern music industry.

How to Maintain Your Commercial Space After a Fresh Paint Job

A freshly painted commercial space can dramatically enhance its appearance and create a positive impression on clients, employees, and visitors. However, maintaining that pristine look requires some ongoing care and attention. Proper maintenance helps preserve the quality of the paint job and extends the life of your investment. In this blog, weâll provide expert tips on how to maintain your commercial painting company space after a fresh paint job, ensuring it remains in top condition for years to come.
1. Regular Cleaning
Keeping your painted surfaces clean is essential for maintaining their appearance:
Dusting: Regularly dust walls and ceilings to prevent the buildup of dirt and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth or a dusting tool to gently remove dust without damaging the paint.
Spot Cleaning: Address any stains or marks promptly using a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, as these can damage the paint. Test any cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesnât affect the paint finish.
2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Using harsh chemicals can damage your painted surfaces and shorten their lifespan:
Mild Cleaners: Stick to mild, non-abrasive cleaners designed for painted surfaces. Avoid strong solvents or bleach, which can strip the paint or cause discoloration.
Diluted Solutions: If you need to use a cleaning solution, dilute it with water to minimize its impact on the paint. Always follow the manufacturerâs recommendations for cleaning products.
3. Addressing Wear and Tear
Over time, even the best-maintained paint job can show signs of wear:
Repairing Nicks and Scratches: Address small nicks or scratches as soon as they occur to prevent them from worsening. Use touch-up paint that matches the original color and apply it carefully to the affected areas.
Repainting High-Traffic Areas: Areas with high foot traffic or frequent use may require touch-ups or repainting sooner than other parts of the space. Monitor these areas and schedule touch-ups as needed to maintain a fresh look.
4. Preventing Damage
Taking steps to prevent damage can help extend the life of your paint job:
Furniture Protection: Use furniture pads or coasters to prevent scratches and dents on walls and floors. Avoid dragging furniture or equipment across painted surfaces.
Wall Fixtures: Be cautious when hanging pictures or other fixtures. Use appropriate hardware and avoid overloading walls, which can cause paint to peel or crack.
5. Monitoring Environmental Conditions
Environmental factors can affect the longevity of your paint job:
Humidity and Temperature: High humidity and extreme temperatures can impact the paintâs performance. Ensure that your space is well-ventilated and maintain a stable indoor climate to prevent issues such as peeling or blistering.
Sunlight Exposure: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause paint colors to fade over time. Consider using window treatments or UV-protective coatings to reduce sun damage.
6. Routine Inspections
Regular inspections help identify and address issues before they become major problems:
Visual Checks: Periodically inspect your painted surfaces for signs of damage, such as cracks, peeling, or discoloration. Address any issues promptly to prevent further deterioration.
Professional Inspections: Consider scheduling periodic inspections with a commercial painting company to assess the condition of your paint and receive expert advice on maintenance.
7. Maintaining Touch-Up Supplies
Keeping touch-up supplies on hand ensures you can address minor issues quickly:
Touch-Up Paint: Store a small amount of touch-up paint in a cool, dry place. Label the container with the color and finish details for easy reference.
Application Tools: Keep brushes or applicators for touch-ups readily available. Ensure they are clean and in good condition for accurate application.
8. Consulting with Your Commercial Painting Company
Your commercial painting company can provide valuable advice and support for maintaining your paint job:

Maintenance Tips: Ask your painting company for specific maintenance tips and recommendations based on the type of paint and finish used.
Warranty Information: Review any warranty information provided by the painting company. Understanding the warranty coverage can help you address issues that may arise and ensure that youâre aware of any support options.
Conclusion

First of all, I will address the "stolen art" problem; you don't have to use an ALMS trained on stolen art. FULL STOP. You personally, can get an untrained ALMS, and train it on art that you yourself ethically provide (potentially even your own art). Problem solved. People act like the "free mainstream" versions that everyone is complaining about are the only way for the technology to work.
Companies sure as hell wouldn't get an untrained one. Because that way, they'd have to deal with people that they might have to pay and make contrast with. They don't want to do that, that's why some of the things that are going down are going down. Yeah, artists might do it, and disabled artists might do it to continue their work. But companies? Not those soulless monsters.
Now for the "cutting corners will lower pay"; do digital artists get less pay than physical medium artists? I don't think so (in comparative fields).
Yes. They do. I don't understand why you think they don't. Ask someone who paints digital art. Say they charge $60 for it. You think someone who uses physical paints, canvases, who doesn't have the ability to hit "undo," and spends hours more time would charge the same amount? In what universe?
What I'm saying is that this should be treated no different than simulation programs in CGIFX, no one lost jobs over it, no one even cared, things that used to take weeks to months now take hours.
No, it shouldn't. Yes, people will lose jobs over it, and have. And yes, people are certainly caring. You're not even making a proper comparison. CGI simulation is not the same as AI "art," something that people are taking credit for as their own when it isn't. A simulation is never something someone calls their own art.
You seem to be under the misinterpretation that I am against regulation; I am not.
I am not under that interpretation at all. I'm under the interpretation that you're not understanding what I'm saying. We could be having very different frames of reference for what we've seen ai be used for though, and I can admit that. But we are also not seeing eye to eye in other places, and I think that's because in some areas, their might be an interpretation problem.
This technology should absolutely be regulated out of the hands of corporate. It should be "just another tool" to be used at the artist's discretion.
To what extent and for what? Because this is where our communication problem is happening. I don't think that anyone has really come up with a satisfactory scenario in which ai can be applied to in a way that doesn't take jobs out of physical artists hands. People that can do the art or pay to do the art. Even if it's something small, it's still still a job worth doing by someone who knows how to do it and LIKES doing it.
Those people who specialize in the tasks the ai can do? If they put out a superior (emotional resonance counts) product, then they will become sought-after; like that one drone camera pilot that all of Hollywood wants as "the guy" instead of using a digital simulated drone cam.
Is that first sentence worded the way you meant it to be? Because it doesn't entirely feel like it goes with the rest of the paragraph unless you meant to type "specialize in the tasks the ai can't do?". And if that's what you meant to say, then regarding the "emotionally resonate" part ... I just... Look, AI will never produce something that emotionally resonates more than labor by a human being. But corporations don't care - or they won't care soon enough for thousands of people to not lose their jobs - about things created through humans generating real human emotions as long as they can cut labor that puts more money in their pocket. And what job are the ai specialists doing that a human can't do in art that makes it so they aren't taking a job from someone such as a CGI programmer or a visual effects department or a painter of backgrounds? I'm struggling to figure one out.
Like, "this is what the strike is about"; No it's not.
HELLO! I reread my post TWICE to see where I used this phrase. I don't. The closest I could find is something you took out of context:
"But it's not just another tool. And yes, corporations would find the artists cutting corners by using AI art as a reason to decrease their pay. 100%. That's their thing. That's part of what this strike is about - streamers taking advantage of no regulations of streaming pay and residuals to give the writers (and as we're seeing, actors) as little pay as they think the can get away with."
Maybe you are misunderstanding my use of the work "art" I also mean it to including ai generated writing. And that very much is an issue in this strike, not "the" issue. Never in this post did I say it was THE issue. Reread this section again. It actually looks like I failed to even connect streamers using art ("art" as in writing in this case) to cut corners and pay with the second part of that paragraph that syas "that's what part of the strike is about" I should have said "another big part is..."
This strike is about not allowing the corpos to replace writers with AI, [right, and I said that] not eliminating the existence of the technology [I guess it sounds like I'm saying that while its technically not what they said, but the things they outlined seem like there should be very little room for use in the field, and with their outlines, I honestly can't imagine where it could be used. (tumblr post incase that tweet deletes)] . As for the other half of the strike, residual payment has nothing to do with "the artist used [x] tool/application in the process so they get less pay." [Right, and I didn't make that connection. The connection I was making was that companies cut corners to make themselves more money. I genuinely think you might have accidentally misread this part.]
And as you suggested, listening to people in the applicable fields who actually have experience working with these tools instead of against them, the potential benefits are great, and the downfalls can be controlled by regulation.
Not actually what I suggested. I'm suggesting talking to the people who have already had their jobs taken by ai, in art and other areas. "Working with these tools instead of against them." Ok, I'm listening:
[Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, which he created] also admitted the impact that AI could have on the economy, including the likelihood that AI technology could replace some jobs, leading to layoffs in certain fields.
"There will be an impact on jobs. We try to be very clear about that," he said, adding that the government will "need to figure out how we want to mitigate that". (source)
Right, and regulation is totally going to happen quickly and efficiently and perfectly in this country. Totally.
Also, I'm sure these people that work with them will all have a totally unbiased opinion on whether or not they will be taking people's jobs. But you're also welcome to respond with articles or first hand accounts from any of these people working with these "tools" to prove your point. Again, I'm not seeing much benefit in the art world.
...Where we differ is that you think that means that every aspect of the technology should be burned and forgotten,...
....Where did I say this? Are you referring to my comments about art in the industry? Ok: in that, I am fairly certain I have been saying, if I can be shown places where it can be used that are ethical, I'm for that. But people are definitely not using it ethically now. Most of them using it now in art are certainly not using it ethically. I think it might have room to be used by artists who physically no longer make their art anymore due to physical limitations due to illness, accident, or age. But the way it's generally being used now? Absolutely not. Not with all these people making free ai generated images instead of paying actual artist to do what they want. That's an area where jobs are being taken, including from disabled people who all they can do to earn money for themselves is make art. Outside of what I stated, I can't see many uses for it that doesn't do what I just said, take jobs. But if it can be proven to me there are other instances where it can be used without doing that, I'm game to listen.
while I see how it could be used to help artists as long as it is kept out of the control of the "abuse everything party".
The few ways you have listen for me I can only imagine taking jobs of specialists before they reach corporations, as far as I can tell.
Like, I understand your fear. Fear of the abuser is good. Fear of the stick because the abuser beats you with it prevents any invention involving the stick.
Well this feels like you're trying to talk down to me a bit. Which I guess some of the things I have said might also sound that way, instead of confusion at why you're saying some of the things you're saying, so you might want to return the perceived favor.
But your sentiment here is uncalled for. First, you cannot generalize all "sticks" with the ways people are using ai right now. And secondly, I'm very much not afraid here, and I have no fear of innovation through new tools, I just understand the foresight here because I've seen the elements of what people are saying is going to happen in ai projects that are already taking place. I have also linked those in other places.
I am not cowering in fear of the "stick," rather just drawing from things I've have seen elsewhere, from ai projects that are already out there, to the general population using ai generators to create things they should be paying others for, to the way that companies behave.
Once again, I hope SAG strikes too
We could lose acting, filmmaking, television as we know it.

Five Senses & Hyper-Automation

Hyper-Automation is the automation of activities that were done by humans and exactly the way we would expect humans to do it. When we look at automation of activities it is primarily driven by the 5 human senses and humans have tried to mimic those in the real world and to elevate human life.
From driverless cars to smart virtual assistants, from biometric sensors to connected devices, from smart cities to connected homes; the use of technology has become widespread. Many activities that we used to do physically are already automated, it has become a new norm for all of us and the future would be even more interesting with some amazing technologies shaping our lives in the coming years.
Similarly Automation has become one of the biggest needs for enterprises to improve efficiency, save cost, and also to speed up their operations. Automation empowers organizations by helping them embrace these new technologies with ease and reap the benefits of the technology through different platforms which gives that edge to the enterprises.

Hyper Intelligence
Letâs try to draw an analogy between our senses and Automation :
Sense of Touch: Touch refers to the human ability to use our fingers/surface of the skin in ways that allow us to identify our surroundings. In organizations, there are a lot and lots of people who are actually doing touch-based activities that help them to make appropriate decisions. For example, Invoice Data-Entry is such a process, wherein an organization that receives vendorsâ invoices on the generation of purchase orders while purchasing/ordering some equipment/service. These invoices are actually punched into Accounting/ERP systems by individuals in the accounts department. This task is time-consuming, prone to manual errors, and a cumbersome task to deal with.
Technology like RPA has been there in this segment, a few examples of those would be Accounts Payable Automation, Accounts Receivable Automation, etc. These technologies help to make the whole process automated by fetching documents from multiple sources, sorting them, and extracting details of required fields; these details are then reconciled/matched with other documents and finally punched into Accounting/ERP systems without much human intervention except in the case of exceptions.
2. Sense of Hearing: Sense of Hearing helps us to communicate with our surroundings by experiencing the vibrations created by sound. Letâs take an example, we are all familiar with Call centers, you need to call the helpline number of a firm, in case you need to reach out to them. Someone would pick up the call and answer your queries.
Now, this physical process is automated using Chatbots, IVRs, etc. So as soon as you open the website a chatbot appears welcoming you and straightaway asking you for your queries, you just need to type your question, and most of the time you get responses from the chatbot itself, in a faster and aligned response equivalent to your expectation.
3. Sense of Sight: One of the most powerful senses of humans that makes us see the world as it is, guides us and helps us in clear processing and understanding of things around us through proper visualization and interpretation.
Letâs understand the technology equivalent for the same
A. OCR(Optical Character Recognition)
OCR is an older technology that is in existence for the past but over time has been advanced using modern technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc to enhance the processing capability similar to lenses and spectacles we use to improve our eyeâs visibility.
From the organizationâs perspective, if we talk about document processing of invoices, usually the accounting personnel looks at the invoice, reads it and interprets the data, and then punches it into the ERP system. This process of manual processing under workload conditions is prone to issues like manual typing errors, skipping of fields, misplacing of documents, wrong entries, etc
This has been replaced with the OCR technology which actually scans through the documents and extracts the information corresponding to different fields and accurately copies the data to the ERP/Accounting system without any errors and that also in a quick and efficient manner.
B. Face Detection:
This is one of the peculiar features of our eyes which helps us in recognizing individuals, places, and things to interpret, visualize and process information related to them.
Similarly, in the organizations this activity was usually done by the security guard standing at a gate where the person is actually verifying his/her ID card, verifying the person whoâs actually getting into a building for security checks.
This manual process now gets replaced by the technology of Face Detection & Recognition, the software recognizes faces and then lets the individual in through the security checks. This technology is employed for multiple scenarios like attendance management, fraud management in insurance organizations, and video KYC in Banking & Insurance, surveillance & threat management at airports and other such locations, etc.
4. Sense of Speech:
The power to converse between individuals is also a key differentiator between humans and machines that helps them to express their feelings, share their thoughts and speak out their views.
We are all aware of modern technologies which all of us might have used or encountered like Alexa, Siri, Google Home, etc. in our day-to-day lives. Now we believe that in the future this technology is going to get into our professional lives as well where most of the operations could be executed using the power of speech, where instructions taken by machines will help us get things done.
5. Sense of Smell :
The sense of smell is another important sense that humans possess to help us detect desirable foods, hazards, etc in our surroundings.
On the technology side, there are bots that are built to smell odors. For example, E-nose, these bots are used in very hazardous environments like chemical factories to detect the smell and identify leakages, etc,. These can also be employed at places where human lives cannot be risked and after-effects of the leak, explosion, bombing, etc have to be sensed for the viability of existence.
So in a nutshell, for activities that are manual and repetitive in nature, Hyper-automation can be used to bridge the gap to help grow in a more efficient and faster manner. Technology and its innovation are for the empowerment of humans and not for their replacement, they will help us to excel, innovate and focus on more strategic activities.

Detecting Diabetic Retinopathy: Recognizing the Warning Signs
Diabetic Retinopathy is a progressive eye condition affecting individuals living with diabetes that can lead to vision impairment and blindness if left untreated. Timely detection and intervention are necessary in order to halt irreparable damage; this article highlights warning signs associated with diabetic retinopathy that clinicians must recognize in order to provide timely diagnosis and proper management, ultimately protecting vision in patients living with diabetes.

Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is an increasingly prevalent complication of diabetes mellitus, impacting an estimated 70-85% of individuals both with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Over time it develops slowly but could result in severe vision loss if left undiagnosed and treated promptly. By understanding its warning signs early enough healthcare providers can intervene more quickly to preserve visual function for improved patient outcomes.
Warning Signs of Diabetic Retinopathy:
Blurred or Fluctuating Vision:
One of the early warning signs of diabetic retinopathy is a reduction in visual acuity. Patients may notice blurry or fluctuating vision as soon as one month in, difficulty with focussing, sudden changes to ability to see clearly, blurriness worsening with time affecting both near and distance vision, so it's crucial that routine patient assessments include the assessment of these visual changes.
Floaters and Spots:
Diabetic patients frequently report the appearance of floaters or spots in their field of vision, including dark or semitransparent specks that move across it, especially against bright backgrounds, such as when looking directly into sunlight. Patients may refer to them as cobwebs or small dots. Any new or worsening floaters require further evaluation by an eye care provider.
Impaired Color Perception:
One tell tale sign of diabetic retinopathy is an altered perception of colors, with patients finding difficulty differentiating between certain hues or experiencing general desaturation resulting in faded or washed-out hues. Evaluating color vision during eye examinations can provide valuable insight into its progression.
Dark Spots:
As diabetic retinopathy progresses, patients may notice dark or empty spots in their visual field known as scotomas that affect central or peripheral vision depending on its stage and location of damage to retinal nerve fibers. Patients may struggle with tasks requiring detailed vision such as reading, recognizing faces or driving. Comprehensive visual field testing can detect and quantify these areas of visual impairment.
Sanjeevan Netralaya has successfully treated over 6 lakh patients across India for major retinal problems like Diabetic Retinopathy. Their patient centric approach of treating every individual and case differently with unique tailor made treatments makes their Advanced Ayurvedic Eye Care the forerunner when it comes to treating Diabetic Retinopathy.
Early recognition and diagnosis are critical in diagnosing and managing diabetic retinopathy effectively. Assuring timely intervention by referring diabetic retinopathy patients to an ophthalmologist can facilitate timely solutions.

I believe the Count was feeding on Jonathan, but in only small amounts until it was time to go to England. Then he fed in full and left his scraps for the brides. He didnât turn Jonathan because Jonathan had served his purpose and was no longer needed. Instead he was a bargaining chip to satisfy the brides upon the countâs departure.
1. Travels to the Castle:
Before even setting foot in the castle Jonathan begins having strange dreams every night when hearing Draculaâs wolves at window. When in Draculaâs carriage, Jonathan again hears the wolves, and the suddenly finds himself waking from a nightmare. Itâs notable that the first instance of Jonathan having difficulty waking up follows his first strange dreams upon hearing the wolves. Despite having no one nearby (as shown in Jonathanâs journey) to teach the proper pronunciation of the English language, Dracula can speak near perfect English. A feat that books alone cannot accomplish.that would require exposure to a Brit.
2. Johnny Boyâs Purpose:
Dracula keeps Jonathan alive at the castle to finish up the legal matters and to teach Dracula how to blend more easily into English society - copying speech patterns and customs. It should also be noted that Jonathan is a test run for Englandâs awareness and protection against vampires. By having the ideal of the Victorian middle class man initially dismiss the supernatural despite the localâs warnings, rationalize the strange for months, and be put in a vulnerable position by his own accord, the count can gage just how long and how much strangeness he can get away with. Once Jonathan had completed his purpose, there was no need to keep him around.
3. Early Castle Days:
Once in the castle, Jonathan begins sleeping late into the day (which one initially assumes is a result of late night talks), but that inference becomes more questionable given Lucyâs constant exhaustion and need for daytime rest after she begins being fed on. Jonathan continues to have dreams and seems to lose periods of time while with the Count (always surprised by how soon the morning has come). This mirrors Lucyâs later use the term âdreamsâ to describe her attacks.
4. Crosses:
During the shaving incident when the Count temporarily loses control, Jonathan reaches instinctively for the cross on the rosary the peasant woman had given him, and he placed the crucifix over the head of the bed once he accepted that he was in danger. The more fearful Johnathan becomes, the more he holds onto the crucifix and wears it on his neck. When he escapes he even goes to a religious institution. He is in fact warding off the vampires to some extent.
5. Lack of Reflection:
There are no mirrors in the castle, and the count throws out Jonathanâs shaving mirror. As a result, Jonathan never had the ability to look at his own neck. The lack of any description of the tell-take red teeth marks is not a sign Jonathan is safe. Lucyâs marks are only described visually. There is no discomfort around them. Nor are they described are raised or noticeable by touch. Johnathanâs other symptoms (especially after his escape) do match Lucy and later Mina. He also can not gage his skinâs complexion without a reflective surface.
6. Brides:
Once entering a forbidden room at sunset and falling asleep, Jonathan is awoken by the 3 brides. He describes the whole encounter as a dream. A nightmare. He describes being put in a lustful trance, unable to fight back. Wanting the fair bride to âkissâ his neck. When Dracula discovers this. He busts into the room in a rage. He yells â"How dare you touch him, any of you? ⌠This man belongs to me!" Jonathan awakes in his bed like all days prior. The Brides complain how Dracula has no love (he is abandoning them).
There is a reference to the count carrying and undressing Jonathan - leaving traces of the countâs presence in the bedroom. This was not the first time Jonathan was aware that count had been in his room and gone through his things. This is the first time he knows for a fact the nightmare was real. As such, Dracula finally prepares to leave for England and leave Jonathan behind.
7. Dracâs Last Night:
The last night Dracula is in the castle, he finally offers to âfreeâ Jonathan by permitting him to walk through the newly unlocked door and be fed to the wolves. Jonathan says he will wait until the morning to leave.Dracula smiles and locks the door. Both know Jonathan will likely never leave alive. The 2 return to the library, the place of so many of their all-night conversations before Jonathan quickly retreats to his own room. Leaving plenty of time before daylight for other activities. The last action Count Dracula takes is âkissingâ his hand to Jonathanâs. (Note how kissing was used with the brides even if this is only the brush of their hands). Dracula looks at Jonathanâwith a red light of triumph in his eyes, and with a smile that Judas in hell might be proud of.â At this point Dracula has won something he wanted. Dracula says to the brides outside Jonathanâs door âBack, back, to your own place! Your time is not yet come. Wait! Have patience! To-night is mine. To-morrow night is yours!â The brides are satisfied with the deal. Jonathan opens his door to see the creatures laughing before going back in his room and throwing himself on his knees. No word is written to describe what happens between that moment and the moment he awakes in the morning (although it seems unnatural to me that he should be able to sleep at all). The next day is the first we hear of Jonathan waking early. Ready to face death by again throwing himself in his knees. The exact same position as when he was last awake. When Jonathan next see Dracula, the Count has fully fed and regained his youth. Blood still is in his chin as Jonathan looks in the coffin. That is the last we see of Dracula before he travels to the west. There is no notion that anyone other than Jonathan was around to feats on.
8. Escape:
Following his escape, Jonathan is in bed, pale, weak, thin and in a state of mental distress. The nuns even note his âlong illnessâ. He wakes up in fearful fits. All symptoms match Lucy. Perfectly. This is the first physical description of Jonathan we have since the Count threw out Jonathanâs mirror. And itâs of a vampireâs victim. Jonathan then describes the castle as a âdreamâ of a madman to Mina.
Ps. See there are also a lot of sexual implications between Jonathan and the Count. That was not the point here, but cannot be ignored
It's ambiguous whether Dracula fed on Jonathan- it doesn't say he did, but I can't imagine why he wouldn't. The interesting thing to me is that he evidently didn't feed him some of his own blood, as he did to Lucy and Mina. Why? Maybe he only found him amusing for as long as he was still back in Transylvania? Maybe he only turns women, as he didn't turn any of the sailors on the Demeter either? Or maybe he told his brides to do it to him once they had drank their fill?
