WOOO listen. There are Many and I ship a lot of pairings, but my most prominent is rexsoka. Kanera and chirrutbaze are so good too.

2) Best fanfic ever read

I’ve read a lot of good fics, it’s hard to choose! But the few memorable ones I remember is this The Hobbit fic called Mazarbul by StairwellWit where Durin the Deathless gets to be a ghost and watches over Bilbo as he grows up.

The other one is For a Man should Walk Tall by Project0506 where it’s the whole premise of Fives and Echo as newly appointed ARCs having steel balls by doing something they supposedly shouldn’t when interacting with Rex when the vets know how that’s like, illegal, within the hierarchy they all have there.

I made another Clone Wars sketchdump, whoops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here are some more of my Star Wars ramblings/head-canons: - I very much ship Ahsoka and Rex as siblings. ‘Soka is 100% the 501st’s little sister. After the clone wars, their relationship evolves from big brother and little sister to just brother and sister. As equals. - Cranky sleepy Rex is inspired by a fanfic called ‘Regrettable Life Choices’ by Project0506 on AO3. I keep going back to it. It’s so funny XD - As you can see by my cadets sketch, I also head-canon Rex as being born with blond hair. It just seems too unrealistic to me that he bleaches and dyes his hair every few days while there is a war going on. I think it’s much more likely that it’s a genetic mutation. Jango had a blue eyed, blond sister after all. - I think Rex and Cody have known each other since they were cadets. I imagine Cody taking pity on Rex being bullied about his hair and taking him under his wing because he sees his potential. So Rex serves in the 212th first, under General Kenobi and his padawan Skywalker. When Anakin gets knighted, Cody recommends Rex for ARC training, after which he is assigned his own battalion under the newly knighted general Skywalker. I bet Cody regrets that choice more than once. - In this house we stan clones with curly hair.

I haven’t had a chance to read some of the more epic fandom-favourite CW fics since I’m only on season 4. All the fics in this list are still a fun read though! Also Obi-Wan centric. Because I’m a simp and I can’t hide it.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is possibly one of the busiest people in the Galaxy during the Clone Wars, but he is indeed only human. It takes an embarrassing amount of people to convince him of this when he falls ill, as humans occasionally do.

For his part, at the age of 36 Obi-Wan finally learns that illnesses don't actually just go away if you ignore them really hard. But that's not for lack of trying.

After touching a mysterious artifact, Cody's general is suddenly a child with the memories to match. Cody has to coax a suspicious adolescent back to base without alerting the nearby Separatists of their presence.

Reversing his general's age an easier fix than Cody thought it would be, but he didn't factor in the possibility that Obi-Wan might not want to give up his self in order to become General Kenobi again. It'd be easier to think if he didn't have an insidious voice in his head, whispering to him to distrust the Jedi.

And it was only a little more effort for them to organise themselves into a government that would be accepted by the Republic.

Convincing the newly crowned King Cody to take a Jedi spouse was a different story. However, sometimes you needed to bit the blaster fire and invoke centuries old laws to ensure that the Senate won't stab you and the four million warriors you are responsible for in the back.

Poor Obi-Wan Kenobi just so happens to be unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire.

Or: A universe where Jango Fett actually takes responsibility for his people and acts like the Mandalorian he should. And just so happens to mess up all of Palpatine's plans in the process

There are so many. Like, I'm serious, AO3 is flooded with fics about Anakin's slave trauma, no 'actually' about it.

I'd suggest reading @fialleril's Double Agent Vader series before anything. The worldbuilding for Tatooine Slave Culture is very well-done, and has been used in works by other authors since then.

into the desert by That_Ghost_Kristoff, TheElusiveBadger is solid work that kicks off with the TCW movie mission and Anakin's status as a freed man being questioned by Jabba.

Force of Many Sights by DAsObiQuiet focuses heavily on Anakin's trauma as a slave and processing it through therapy, and much of it is lensed through his experiences as Vader.

The Little Jedi by PhenomenalWoman touches on the traumas but is primarily fluff.

Rivers and Roads by PhenomenalWoman is an 'Anakin has to do another mission to Tatooine, ends up freeing all the slaves instead' fic.

Jedi Shmi AU by MirandaTam is primarily Shmi POV and focuses on her slave trauma rather than Anakin's, but I think it's still in the spirit of things.

Realign the Stars by FeatherQuillsFiction, TerinAngel is also a comedy, but does involve Anakin running off to Fuck Things Up for the Hutts and having what appears to be a dissociative episode as he explains to everyone why, exactly, he refuses to let high-value individuals like Ahsoka and the handmaidens onto Tatooine unless there's absolutely no other option.

Dominoes by meridianpony is clone-focus, but has one of my favorite "Anakin finds out about the clones' chips" sequences I've ever read.

The Making of A Man by Project0506 (@thefoundationproject) explores Anakin's background being utilized by the Jedi in a way that has the clones furious.

Hope and Ekkreth by PhenomenalWoman There are a lot of fics out there that have Anakin comforting recently-freed slaves, but this is my favorite in terms of writing and structure.

Perceptions by LuvEwan | Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan & Dooku | 7k Obi-Wan is drugged and accidentally spills some painful thoughts. Qui-Gon and Dooku keep watch. Lovely.

Force Bond by kittandchips | Luke & Vader | 858k Vader discovers he has a son a decade early and Luke is not quite what the Coruscant elite expect when Vader reveals he has a child. This is a whole series and it’s fantastic.

Favorite time of year: Spring. The days are reasonable length, the weather’s getting warmer but not too hot yet, perfect for me to wear my best combos of cargo shorts and t-shirts and vests... Plus, my birthday is in spring! Always gotta love that.

Comfort foods: Warm and soft - either kraft macaroni and cheese with chunks of tuna mixed in, or instant mashed potatoes with sausage slices and canned peas all in a bowl together. Or hambuger-helper’s beef stroganoff, with a bag of frozen peas dumped in to cook alongside the pasta. Oh! Or the best local chinese/vietnamese restaurant’s lemon chicken with steamed rice. All of those are really good after a long hard day.

Do you collect anything: Ah-heh. How about craft supplies that I end up never using...? More seriously, though, I do like to collect narrow vases I can combine with small fake flower stems, either at hobby shops or garage sales or whatnot. Lots of them decorate my safer shelves and tabletops; plenty more get passed along as gifts.

Favorite drink: Orange Fanta soda on a hot day, strong but lukewarm lemon-honey tea on a cold one.

Favorite music artists: OneRepublic, Vicetone, Reba McEntire, American Authors, and Built by Titan

Current favorite songs: Been bouncing along to Run, Sunshine, West Coast, and I Ain’t Worried by OneRepublic the last few days, along with One My Way by Sheppard and a couple of Oceans songs, Deep Blue and Cold Ain’t For Me

Well, let’s go by what I like to re-read the most - A Wing and A Prayer by Atalan, aka @brightwanderer, which is just a phenomenal look at G1 Transformers that I adore; any of envysparkler’s Bat Family fics, to be honest, but Fairy Godbrother is particularly fantastic; journey to the past by aloneintherain is a DELIGHT I always dig out when I want some A+ My Hero Academia time travel content, or Jeanemon’s Lies in the guise of truth for Dad Might feels; Bundibird has several great MCU stories but bagel bags do not count as art has to be my hands-down fave for the sheer hilarity; the Soft Wars series by Project0506, especially any and all chat fics (such as Discovery Learning), and pretty much any Star Wars story from @blackkatmagic though show me those electric bones will always hold a special place in my heart for BAMF Shaak Ti xD
