New Bella Rainbow High Leaks. Not gonna lie, I feel like everyone should be worried about the “Bella” styling head... I bet u this is MGA dipping their toes in the water to see how fans will react or if they will purchase products without inset eyes! I bet u budget dolls without inset eyes will be next. This isn’t a good sign… they keep trying to make rainbow high like Barbie so i wouldn’t be surprised if we see this as a norm and for this reason, I will NOT be buying her and tbh I’ve been on the fence about staying away from the reboot all together, if they make less sales, they may do another brand re- change back in the direction we are use to. We as consumers hold their fate if we don’t buy products we don’t like or stand by, I hope others will also do the same.

Blu Brooks - Half and Half

I began sketching this before the latest episode of Rainbow High premiered. I wanted to see what I could do with the dress/pantsuit concept before they finished. Started with concept the previous episode ended. Ended quite different from how the girls on the show took it. What do you think?

I finally got around to watching the rest of Rainbow High S4/Project Rainbow

Thoughts:

-We were robbed of the Delfina/blue porcelain doll.

-We were also robbed of Angelina/astrology doll. 😭💔 I’d kill for them both! I am even considering maybe doing OOAK for the first time out of Angelina.

-Shanelle X Priscilla anyone? 👀

-I kinda ship Jade X Heather, simply because their aesthetics look so good together 🔥

-I love the concept of Skylar’s final project (I also found it kinda clever they got marketing in there too lmao-) but I don’t know if an accident meant she deserved to win 🤔 Especially when Shanelle’s accounted for versatility and durability, which Skylar’s did not.

-I wish we had been able to see the contestants dress up Maria Garcia- it would’ve been a super cool concept and maybe we could get more dolls out of her character.

Project Rainbow Episode 3/4 Review

spoilers below 🌈

That was a BOLD move on Victoria's part, I'm glad it worked out for her. I'm wondering if Skyler is going to win the show, and if that's related to her new fashion studio set. I can't remember what the prize for Project Rainbow is supposed to be but it might be a new sewing machine. I'll look it up later. Seeing more of Sunny and Luna's sister dynamics was great, I love that they're the co-hosts. I kinda like the detail of having this overlap the No Rain No Rainbows story, but it also feels like it's mostly there to reuse animation elements and promote the new dolls. Looking forward to the next episode, (will it be in 1 week or 2?) and hearing what you all have to say.
