ystk Instagram story 2019.07.10 - TRANSLATION

I lined up all my headphones.

For DJing purposes, any headphones that are loud and durable will work fine.

Ones I recommend for making music and nothing else: Shure SRH840 & Sony Z1000

Both of these fit well, so they're comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They're good for doing mixing work since they make it easy to visualize the sound frequency and adjust the EQ accordingly. I recommend using them along with speakers. They're not very fun to listen to music with because you can hear all the audio mistakes as-is, but they are good. The Z1000 has slightly more low end.

Ones I recommend for making music and also listening to it: Audio-Technica R70x & Shure SRH1540

These are comfortable and the fit and sound of them don't make me tired after wearing them for long periods of time. The R70x produces good low end for being an open-back headphone and just generally sounds pretty nice. In fact, they sound so nice that mixing with them might be a little dangerous -- the highs especially can be hard to pick out. I recommend the SRH1540 for people who want to do all their production work on headphones. The lows on that one are pretty forward, so I think they'd be fine for listening to music.

Bonus round: Sony CD900ST

The CD900ST is a staple in my studio.

Most people keep these on-hand for studio guests since they're light and easy to put on and take off; the biggest thing in their favor though is that they're used in a lot of studios, so they're a familiar choice.

I keep these in the vocal booth.

Sticker Club and Merch Goodies Update!

Hihihi! I have been a very busy bee-hand monstrosity, here's what I've been doing! -

Sticker Club Test Run is ready!!! A gaggle of spooky fellows for the spooky season!

Sticker club sign ups start Oct 1st on Kofi and end Oct 16th! It will be available to USA+Canada ($10) and International ($13)!

WIPS of some little guys for the next shaker charm I'm making! This set will be a little special, and there are 3 more characters and pokemon partners that will be in this group. The shaker and teams will be sold separate from each other, so you can pick and choose your favorites to grab

A little peek inside the "hardware", there may be some little secrets lurking about...

Production WIPS! I've compressed Dante into a carbonation sealing device, a little something I had made for the next shop update as well. I really like the style of these bottle caps, so hoping I'll be able to do a few more designs with these in the future!

As for the standees and puddings from the last preorders, they should be concluding manufacturing soon!

That should be all for now, now that I'm a bit closer to finishing everything I'm working on for the next shop update, Mid-Late October seems like when I shall throw the doors open again! Thanks so much for looking at my silly things and all the support!

You're good, this is the best way to respond~ They aren't up anywhere yet, I'm in the very early stages of figuring out a new spot to host stuff (not closing the blog itself, just Tumblr has become a bit of a hassle to use anymore for archival purposes and I want something that feels more "permanent" and easier to navigate...). Anyway.

In the 2006 FRUITS CLiPPER/CLM feature: Native Instruments Battery 2, Native Instruments FM7, Arturia ARP 2600V (damn the thing this was replicating was gorgeous), Arturia Minimoog V, DISCODSP Discovery 2, Novation V-Station, Spectrasonics Trilogy.

[They ignored the lad for the entirety of 2007, which is insane, but.]

MORE! MORE! MORE! feature from '08: I wound up having to skim some of this and didn't find much... He says he was still using "the usual Native Instruments and Arturia," something made by Waves (S&R just notates it as "plugins by Waves" as they were listing what was shown in studio photos), and he mentions "only using the hi-hat from XLN Audio Addictive Drums." (As a side note when asked about what pitch correction software he used, he said he changed it depending on what he felt like, between Melodyne, Auto-Tune, Yamaha Pitch-Fix and "free software.")

[His 2009 feature was for FLASH BEST so nothing new, though there is a paragraph of him talking about Hatsune Miku. This is what ya'll are missing out on by not voting for it in the poll lol...]

What changed Ice Prince Finn back to normal & where did he get a crown from?

Was Finn stealing a baby what ended up changing him as a person in the Farmworld universe? Similar to how Marceline kept Simon prime grounded & humane for a while.

Maybe Jay Mertens (I think that was his name, the eldest son) reminded him of his little brother too.

As for how the crown came back into the Farmworld reality, that would be because of whatever wacky effects are happening from Fionna & Cake going through the multiverse. Scarab was also messing with the multiversal TV's insides.

Going back to Farmworld Finn's little brother, maybe he was the one who broke the crown since I doubt a coward like the destiny gang leader would have been able to do it (or there's some sort of timeline loop going on with a bunch of the crowns that'll get shown later). This is assuming the little brother is alive, but we don't even know that for sure. There is just a lot we don't know.

edit: I see what y'all are saying about the old episode, seems like Prismo didn't wipe anyone's memories, he only made it so the crown would be destroyed. People still remember The Snow Man AKA Ice Prince Finn & what he did with all of that magical power. I also still think Jay Mertens could be the baby at the end of the flashback at the start of the episode.

charm and stickers have been ordered!

I've ordered 30 charms & 30 of each sticker(60 total). I've never sold anything before so I plan on opening an etsy shop to make everything easier!

Thank you to everyone for the super helpful feedback with everything. I held a poll on instagram and a grand majority preferred a blue background for the charm!

The charm will be 3 inches, two-sided with a translucent blue background, and the stickers will be 2 inches and regular vinyl. Vograce takes at least a week or two to double check everything, so I probably wont have the product ready for a while.
